Due to the urgent comm from Landmine, Optimus, Jetfire, and the Destiny Gundam soon arrived on the Jungle Planet. And as soon as they arrived, they saw Landmine and Leobreaker with Scourge. Scourge scoffed when he saw the other Autobots arrive. "I see Landmine was right. If he commed you you would come."
"What is it that you wanted Scourge, and where is the cyber planet key?" Optimus asked a bit put off, as he never liked guessing games. He was here to save his men and try to save the universe along with them.
"I will give you the Cyber Planet key if, and only if, the warrior I choose to fight from your troop beats me. If they lose, they will be required to become my mate and I will retain this Cyber Planet Key as it seems it possesses much power if you are seeking it" Scourge replied.
Optimus didn't like hearing that, as he likely knew Scourge would likely pick who he thought was the weakest bot of the troop. "And who do you pick, Scourge?" Optimus asked, knowing he was the least likely candidate to be picked. Optimus feared it might be Lancex himself, but doubted it as well.
Scourge looked over his options. Optimus and Landmine were clearly out in his mind. That left only a few others, and soon Scourge settled on one – Destiny Gundam. "I choose him" Scourge stated, pointing to the Gundam. Lancex, hidden inside, was shocked, as were the others but knowing just how important this fight was, the Gundam moved forward to accept the challenge. Optimus and most of the others were shocked while Leobreaker glared at Scourge. This made no sense to the Autobots who knew the truth about the Destiny Gundam.
Seemingly unfazed by any of the reactions, Scourge led the bots to a training field. Optimus secretly asked Lancex if he thought he could handle Scourge and fighting him. Thinking back to his training in the other universe, Lancex felt confident and asked back to Optimus, "is that a serious question?" Optimus was shocked by that query but stated he trusted Lancex to complete this task. Lancex acknowledged that and then prepared to fight, with his Destiny Gundam ready to fight as well. Scourge finished setting up the battlefield and then faced the Gundam. Now it was time for this dance to begin, but who would start?
