[In which Lord Fenrir asks Vette for some lessons.]

Vette was in The Thunder Bird's living room, reading something on her datapad with her feet on the table. They had just dealt with the Jedi Master on Quesh and were on their way to Hoth when Lord Fenrir entered the room and stood next to Vette.

"Vette, I need your help with something," he stated plainly. This didn't surprise Vette. In the year they'd known each other, she'd come to learn that Lord Fenrir struggled with certain things that others found easy, mostly things to do with technology. But she never mocked him for it, partly because that would be needlessly mean of her, partly because she didn't want to risk getting killed. She could tell by the sound of his voice that he wasn't wearing his helmet, so it wasn't related to any Sith business.

"What is it?" Vette asked, turning her head slightly.

Lord Fenrir sat down across from her before asking, "Can you teach me another language?" Vette took her feet off the table before answering.

"That depends," she answered. "You got a particular language in mind?"

"What's the most commonly used?" Vette thought for a moment.

"The most common, uh? Well the most commonly used one I know would be Twi'lek."

"Teach me that," Lord Fenrir said and then added, "…please."

"Sure thing," Vette replied. "You know, I've noticed you don't seem to know any language but Basic."

"I know Sith Old Tongue," Lord Fenrir explained. "But it's not something that has any use in daily affairs. And I know a form of sign language, but it doesn't seem to be known by anyone I've met and I'm fed up with needing someone to translate something for me everytime we meet someone who can't or won't speak Basic."

"Well, how about you teach this sign language to me, while I teach you to speak Twi'lek?"

"Sounds good."
