Arriving at the base of the mountain where the dragon was supposedly and his acquaintances and Luna looked up,and we're astonished and shocked what they were seeing. At the top of the mountain swirling black clouds of smoke were swirling in the sky. As sound of thunder boomed and the Lighting was in the mix of all of it. The sight of the sky shook Fluttershy to her core. While also seeing this Luna said. I must say this is much more darker than my evil counter part would've wanted this land to be. You can't even see the stars let alone my sisters sun. Before anyone could reply or do anything else a loud rumble coming from the mountain was heard. It Was as if the mountainous structure in front of them was coming to life. Though the rumbles and tremors that came with it lasted only for a few moments it was enough for Fluttershy to break down and start tearing up. Apple Jack tried to comfort her even though she was startled herself as well as everyone else. When everything stood still once again Dusk cleared his throat trying not to sound scared and said. Is everyone Alright. I'm Good. Dash proudly claim much to Dusk annoyance . Oh My…Are you alright? Rarity asked worryingly. Seeing who who she was talking too Dusk saw Fluttershy clanging to Apple Jack as she said. She fine. A.J Told her. But I think that yawn or whatever it was from the dragon shook her up badly. Dusk. She looked at him. I think brining her here was a mistake should you take her back. Y..yes p..please mr Dusk. Fluttershy stutered to say. With that the lavender hair prince put his hand on the shoulder of his silk haired friend. Which caused her to stop shanking. And said and with a gentle voice. Dusk FluttershyI know your scared especially of the situation we're in now, and that's understandable but,your friends need you Equestria needs you,and I need you. Your gentleness and connection with animals will be a big help in getting rid of the dragon who's breath is plaguing us all. After hearing that Fluttershy felt energized and happy. Okay she said. Unknowingly annoying Rarity who growled inaudibly as they moved forward.
"Heading further up the trenches mountain Pinkie pie Hummed to herself while Dusk made sure everyone stayed focus at the task at hand,while trying to comfort Fluttershy'so she wouldn't fly or run off. However Rainbow Dash was shivering due to the cold of the mountain,while she decided to put and metal gloves on so she could face the dragon they were engaging. But didn't bother to think she would need a something to keep her physically warm in the cold mountainous region they were in. Apple Jack and Princess Luna both notice her shivering and A.J. asked her. Hey uhhh… you need somthin to keep you warm? I got a extra sweeter if you want. Rainbow pre-grudgingly nodded yes. With her teeth jittering in the cold. While Apple Jack was getting out her sweater Luna notice Rainbow bandages and asked how she got them. Oh I got them when I was pulling off a stunt maneuver which resulted in me getting injured but it's not too bad. Over hearing this A.J. frowned remembering the incident but trying not to show guilt she happily gave Rainbow her sweater. Putting it on the sweater made rainbow fold her wings something she hated doing but because of the cold she had no choice. Looking back Dusk notice something happing because Apple Jack,Rainbow,and princess Luna seemed to be lagging pick up the .A. . Just handin one of my sweaters to Rainbow since she thought she didn't need one. Yeah that's typical. Dusk thought. The walk was long but Dusk and the girls were getting ever so close to where the dragon slept. But the walk was dangerous any sudden move or sound could trigger a land slide. And if that wasn't frightening enough more rumples and small quakes from the dragon came, frighting Fluttershy as she grabbed his arm for comfort. And a bolt of lighting nearly hit them from mir inches despite all the dangers they encountered Rarity started to feel jealous. Even though she understood her friends fears but felt they were getting too intimate. With Fluttershy holding his hand grabbing his arm and embracing his body when things really started to scare her. Maybe she should act like a damsel in distress,but would risk suspicion with the other girls and Luna sense she knew they really Dusk as well. Guess her only hope was to convince the dragon to get out of Equestria when Fluttershy's attempts fails She thought. And not too long after all of them finally made it to where the dragon laid.
Finally Dusk and companions arrived near the cave where the dragon slept, with the smoke of it bellowing out it with a strong scent of sulfur. The strong oder of the smoke case Rarity and her friends to gag and to cover their mouths and noses. Now I know what people truly mean by dragons breath. She told her friends. The horrible stench cause Fluttershy to cough,but that didn't help deal with her fear as she look looked at the large cave. Inside noise of the dragons snorting could be heard but it was as bad when they first came to the mountain. Looking and Fluttershy and Luna Dusk said to them. Alright both of you come with me Luna I need for backup just in case our negotiations fail. Understood. She said. Now looking at Rainbow,Rarity,Apple Jack,and Pinkie. Now I need the four of you guys to wait out here in case if our negotiations fail. Don't worry egghead I'm ready to take on that huge dragon. Dash said in her usual over confidence. I'm going kick that dragons butt. She continued. Dusk just sighed over this. Alright let's… Before He could speak anther world Pinkie Pie chimed in and said. Not so fast as she got out her instrument Dusk had a look of both surprise and horror. Bagpipes?! Dusk said shackling. That's Pinkie. These sooth the savage beast of Equestria so I'm commin with boy. Dusk thought. As they headed into the cave. With Rarity watching she could only hope Dusk will come out okay little alone the others. While entering Dusk created a magical barrier around himself along with Luna,Fluttershy and Pinkie. So they could breath without smelling the sulfur odor from the dragons breath. The cave was dark and Fluttershy grew nervous with each passing step, only to be comforted by Dusk's hand holding her wrist as they heard the dragons snoring. The walk wasn't long when they confronted the dragon still sleeping Dusk and let the barrier down sense they were not in the way of it's stinky breath. Looking around the lavender haired prince and his companions saw the dragons treasure scattered about Ed about the cave floor. But more attention to the giant before them.I have to whispered. It's been a very long time since I've seen a dragon up close before. While saying that Dusk was wondering what they going to do to wake the dragon but, it's eyes suddenly opened. It's nose detecting the trespassers in its cave. Dusk's along With Pinkie and Luna were startled by the Dragons awaking, as it yawned Fluttershy held on to Dusk torso even tighter than before making him gag a little before she loosen her grip on him. The Dragon was bewildered at the humans in his cave but why were they here? It wondered and saw the tiny winged lavender haired human talking to pink haired human saying Go on Fluttershy. Dusk told her. But she eagerly didn't want to go. As she tried to wrap her arms around him,but he grabbed them both his hands and said. Equestria is counting on you. And with that she sighed and stood in front of her friends. Clearing her throat as the dragon looked at her she said. M..mr dragon please hear me out the people down in Eequestria are in despair, your breath and Sleeping is causing havoc on these who walk the grounds below so please could fine somewhere else to sleep. The dragon looked at the tiny young woman who was in front. Though he understood what she was saying, the mountainous giant reptile refuse to leave its cavern. At this Fluttershy felt disappointed as she thought her connection with animals and Dusks words would help her convince the dragon to leave,as she stood sobbing. Dusk and Pinkie their hands her shoulders as Luna spoke out. Now listen here you overgrown brute! With that both Dusk and Pinkie looked at Luna's direction and watched as she flew towards the dragons face and said to it up close. As of my pink haired friend was trying to tell you we need you leave we don't care where you sleep as long as it's not here,we trying to be diplomatic but we send in troops here if necessary if your not willing to cooperate. Now the annoyed dragon took a deep breath,fortunately for Princess Luna the palata valve of the dragons back throat was closed. So when it exhaled the princess of the night only experienced gal of wind from dragons mouth,which cased her to blown onto the cave wall and onto the floor. Princess Luna! Dusk and Fluttershy shouted as they went to her aid. With that Pinkie Pie stepped forward with her instrument in hand and said. Oh come down you giant grumpy grumps I know how to convince you to leave. As she was about blow on her instrument. During this Dusk with aid of Fluttershy help Luna off the floor. Are you alright. Fluttershy asked her. I'm replied. But what is she doing. She asked while pointing towards Pinkie who about to preform a song on her instrument. Oh no. Dusk thought as he stared hopelessly of what Pinkie was about to do.
Once Pinkie Blew on her instrument the silent dark huge dark cave immediately echoed the the sound of bagpipes. While playing well on key and dancing to the rhythm of her music,Dusk Princess Luna,and Fluttershy covered their ears. Even the dragon was not pleased with Pinkie Pie choice of music. While still playing Pinkie span class="Apple-converted-space" /spanabruptly stopped when the dragon gave annoyed loud roar nearly blowing away her presence off hands. Worried about her safety Dusk told Luna to grab PinkIe before dragon could do anything else to her. Also worried about her Luna quickly grabbed Pinkie Pie and hurriedly fellowed Dusk and Fluttershy out of the cave,and regrouped with Rainbow,Apple Jack and Rarity. Seeing her three friends exhausted from running they had done and hearing anther loud roar inside the cave A.J said to them.I'm guessing that the negotiations didn't go as plan? Catching his breath Dusk replied. Yeah. Both Fluttershy and Luna spoke to it and tried to reason with it but,no luck. Fluttershy's said nothing still disappoint in failure to convince the dragon to leave. Seeing her opportunity Raity said in confident voice. Well perhaps I can do it. Not to be arrogant perhaps this needs more witty charm. Dusk had a doubtful and annoyed look on his face but said had look of puzzlement on her face as she didn't understand what rarity meant or what she was going to do,as Fluttershy had a look of concern for her safety as she went into the cave alone. With that Rainbow spoke and said. Well if she comes out or gets eatin I'm going in there next. Using her wand as a means of a light source to wonder around the large cave Rarity soon encountered the giant beast like dragon and notice its treasures surrounding it. And again sensing a trespasser in its chambers the awoken dragon was surprise to see an alone young female human with long purple hair wearing a white mink fur hat and coat to match. Now looking the dragon instead of its treasures Rare spoke in a soft and charming voice. Why hello there big boy aren't you pretty. The dragon was taken back by this,as it was rare for dragons to hear such words from humans especially from a young female. Normally the humans would say Dragon run for your lives! With sorts of yelling and seaming. And I have to say.. Rarity told the dragon. Your scales are marvelous, it's a shame you have to spend so much time in this dreadful cave without showing them off. Appreciating the kinds words but this isn't the first time the giant dragon heard the humans commenting about his scales. In the hundreds of years he lived and besides hearing the humans screaming for their very lives he did hear some humans talk about his scales. Though thorough the centuries the as he grew the humans talking of his scales grew rare. So aren't you going out to show world how magnificent you are? The young female said to him. The dragon considered it. Until Rarity said. And don't worry I'll watch over your treasure. With that the dragon knew exactly what was going on. As it's eyes widen to look at the young female human and saw she was attempting to steel one of its diamonds her face now in a wide guilty smile. Outside the cave Dusk and the others heard a very loud roar and not long after that Rarity was seen running out of the cave screaming. Once she saw her friends she stopped and looked behind her and said. Oh thank goodness it's not fellowing me. Anther roar come out but not as loud as the first one signaling a warning of do not enter the cave. What happen? Dusk ask Rarity. Well.. she said. I almost had it. But realized she with her friends not by herself with all of them including Luna giving her bewildered looks of confusion.I'm mean.. she said again. I almost had had him out but I guess my charming isn't as uniquea as I make it out to be. Well I guess it's my turn Rainbow said as she took off the sweater Apple Jack gave to her. Clanging her Iron gauntlet's together she said to herself. Time to force that dragon off off this mountain as she quickly flew into the cave before Dusk could say. Wait! Rainbow! Is thou always so reckless? Princess Luna asked. I'm afraid so. Dusk replied. No wonder she has so many bandages on her. Apple Jack was silent on this still feeling pretty bad what she did before all this dragon business came.
