Heh…I wondered what would happen if Tidus met Yuna as they are in Kingdom Hearts…
Tidus leaned back as he and Selphie swung their legs over the orange and red sea below them. His hands were sticky, as the salt that had collected on the pier rubbed off on them.
"Whoa! What's that!" Selphie yelped, jumping to her feet. Tidus looked up to the sky, which she was pointing at. What looked like two shooting stars crashed into the ocean.
"They're shooting stars Selphie. We see them all the time."
"But, they crashed into the ocea-…no way…Is that? Sora and Riku!" Tidus also jumped to his feet as their long gone friends heads popped out of the waves.
"Sora! Riku!" They turned their heads to see Kairi waving at her best friends from the shore. Sora and Riku swam towards her furiously.
"Is it just me…or do I see a dog, duck, and a mouse glomping them?" Tidus asked. Selphie nodded. She smiled as Kairi helped Sora up, and they hugged. Kairi then moved on to Riku, as the dog and the duck chatted animatedly to Sora.
"You coming? We haven't seen them for…what? Two years?" Selphie asked, and Tidus grinned.
"Race ya!" he laughed as he sprinted along the pier and jumped into the sand, Selphie laughing behind him.
"Riku! Sora! Where the hell have you two been these past two years!" he yelled as they turned towards him. Sora grinned.
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you." Kairi grinned and laughed. Selphie caught up with him.
"Hey, who's the dog, duck and mouse? They're cute!" Selphie exclaimed, reaching down to pat Donald's head. He scowled. Riku smirked.
"The dog is Goofy. He is Disney Castle's Captain of Royal Knights. The duck is Donald. Disney Castle's Court Wizard. And the mouse…King Mickey Mouse."
Tidus' jaw dropped.
"K-k-k-King Mickey! I'm sorry, your majesty!" Mickey laughed, and shook his head. Tidus could feel heat creeping up his face.
"Well, Sora, Riku, we've been waiting here for quite a while. We must get back to the castle, or Minnie and Daisy will have me and Donald's heads!" Mickey exclaimed, shaking hands with Sora, Kairi and Riku. He nodded to Tidus and Selphie, who bowed their heads.
"Ahyuck! I wanna get back to Max, too!" Goofy exclaimed, running clumsily after Donald. Sora laughed, and waved goodbye.
"So…this is Destiny Islands…Got treasure, Sora?"
"Yeah! I heard islands have loads of treasure!"
Two voices sounded from behind Sora, who sighed, and turned around. Tidus couldn't see anyone.
"No, Destiny Islands don't have any treasure…At least I don't think so…Do they, Selphie?" he asked, turning his head. Tidus still couldn't see who he was talking to.
"Not that I know of? Do you know of any, Tidus?" she turned to the boy beside her. Tidus could see who Sora was talking to now. They flew over Sora's head to Selphie. Three fairies that is. Tidus' eyes widened.
"Did you say Tidus? Where!" the blonde, yellow clad of the three sprites half yelled. Tidus cleared his throat anxiously.
"Rikku, you've shru-." That was all he got out before he was tackled by the blonde and brunette sprites.
"Tidus! We've looked all over for you!" they yelled simultaneously. Tidus chuckled from his place on the sand.
"I wish I could say the same thing…But, why are you so damn small? And, why do you have wings?"
"Oh…that's a long story. But, I can help with the small thing!" Yuna giggled, and was enveloped in a bright white light. (A/N: I know these are annoying but…OMG LOOK AT THE RHYMING!)
Sprawled across his stomach was a sixteen year old Yuna, in all her songstress glory. Sora, Kairi, Riku, and Selphie's mouths all dropped. Rikku giggled, and Paine rolled her eyes.
"Neat trick." Tidus grinned.
"Hi there." Yuna winked.
