Epilogue

Thanksgiving Surprise-Ch 20

About an hour later Penelope and baby boy Morgan were in her room, she was smiling down at the sleeping newborn, he was so adorable, he looked so much like his father but she could see parts of her in him. She took her finger and gently caressed his cheek and said, "mommy loves you so much little man and I can't wait for everybody to see you, they are gonna just love you and spoil you rotten".

She looked up when she heard a knock on the door, Derek walked in and said, "how are my baby girl and baby boy doin?", Penelope said, "I'm tired but good and your son, well he's sleeping", Derek kissed her gently on the lips and then sat down beside her on the bed. He then looked down at his son and smiled, he said, "he's got your nose and mouth sweetness", Penelope said, "he looks so much like you handsome, he's my mini Thor" causing everybody to laugh.

Fran and the others stepped closer to the bed and Fran said, "ohhhh he's gorgeous Penelope", Penelope smiled up at her mother-in-law and said, "would you like to hold your grandson?", she said, "I would love to". Penelope handed the sleeping baby over to his grandma gently and then relaxed against the pillows and her husbands embrace.

.Emily said, "sooooo have you two picked out a name for him yet?"Penelope nodded her head yes and said, "everybody we would like for you to meet Hank Spencer Morgan", Reid smiled and so did Fran and the girls. Derek looked up and said, "Hank after my pops and Spencer after the best little brother any man could ever ask for", Reid walked over and hugged Penelope and Derek and said, "thank you, I'm honored, truly honored and I promise that I will teach Hank all things Dr. Who".

JJ rolled her eyes and said, "ohhhh we don't doubt that Spence", Emily laughed as she remembered how he got her son Jack to fall in love with Dr, Who and she said, "good luck Penelope, that's alllllllll I'll say" and Penelope laughed. Derek looked up at the girls and said, "don't pick on my baby brother", Reid looked at JJ and Emily and stuck out his tongue causing Hotch to laugh and Penelope to grin at the younger man.

As the family gathered around Fran to get a better glimpse of the baby Derek kissed his wife on the temple and said, "why don't you get some sleep baby girl, I know that you have to be exhausted", she nodded her head and then laid it down on his shoulder and closed her very tired eyes.

The family all got their chance to hold the baby and bond with him, he was such a sweet baby and they couldn't wait to watch him grow up and be able to play with Jack, Henry and any other babies that might come into the family. Penelope glanced around the room at the group of amazing people that were there and knew that she had been truly blessed with a wonderful family, a family that would do anything and everything to help keep her, Derek and their children safe and loved.

Additions to the family happened fast with JJ and Reid welcoming a son Michael the next Halloween, he was an adorable little boy that looked so much like his older brother and father that JJ couldn't help but smile. Hotch and Emily welcomed a little girl named Dakota Rose not long after Michael was born, she was a spitfire just like her mom, a fact that both thrilled and terrified Hotch at the same time.

Sarah met, fell in love with and married a cardiologist she ran into at the hospital when Dakota was born, they hit it off instantly and were practically joined at the hip and were spending all of their time together. Sarah and Todd welcomed a son named Sean about 11 months after they were married and then another child, a daughter named Charlotte who they all called Charlie about 2 years later.

Desi soon met a new agent named Luke Alvez and fell head over heals in love with him, they dated about 6 months before they got married and then less than a year later they welcomed a little girl to their family named Laura, she was a beautiful little girl that looked just like her mommy and Luke knew that when she grew up he was going to have to beat the boys off with a stick.

Derek and Penelope welcomed a little girl named Jasmine Francine to the clan when Hank was 3 years old, she was a beautiful little girl who was the spitting image of her momma and Derek hoped that she would have her mothers turn and personality not to mention computer skill.

bout 2 years after Jasmine was born Penelope and Derek welcomed their final child another son named Daniel Aaron Morgan to their family and he grew up to be as computer savy as his mom and as stoic as his uncle Hotch. Fran couldn't have been happier with all of the babies that she got to spoil rotten and spoil them rotten she did and she always said that it was her right as a grandmother to love and spoil her grand children.

Derek and Penelope's third child was born early, he wasn't due till January first but was born on Thanksgiving evening, Penelope started having pains after they had finished dinner and was sitting around watching movies with the family, They rushed her to the hospital and after being in labor for almost 32 hours Daniel finally made his entrance into the world and when he was born Penelope pointed at Derek and said, "he's stubborn just like you".

Derek laughed and said, "meeeee, I'm the stubborn one here?", Penelope said, "yes, yes you are and I'm glad that you can admit it", Derek grinned and said, "ya know we owe all of our happiness to a Thanksgiving holiday break anddddd a few surprises". She grinned and nodded her head as she looked down at the baby in her arms and said, "and here is one of those little surprises", Derek kissed his son on the forehead and said, "I love you Mrs. Morgan".

Penelope said, "and I love you Mr. Morgan, you and all of your little Thanksgiving surprises" causing him to grin as he claimed her lips with his for a soft, loving kiss and when they pulled apart he sat down on the bed beside her and their son and wrapped his arm around her shoulder and sighed happily knowing that his life was as close to perfect as it could be.
