Chapter 20 - Rescue and Strike Back

In the previous chapter, Tom, Jerry along with Gon, Killua and Leorio found Kurapika and Asurina and then they tell to them that Stacy had been chasing them. And so in order to prevent it, they transferred to an another spot in which Kurapika resided. Later that night, the couple professed their love for each other. The next day, the hunters group were ready to launch an attack on Saihara and her armies but however, Asurina was surprised that Maki had been held as a hostage bait.

Will they can able to made to the hideout of Akuras? Will Asurina can able to rescued Maki from the clutches of Saihara?

Early in the morning, the hunters group were started to walked far miles away from York New City. Their mission journey was not very easy for them to accomplish with. But when they reached to the rocky mountain, they had encountered an old hermit who had lived in a small hut.

When the old hermit sees Asurina, he was shocked in surprised.

" Uh.. is there's something wrong, Sir? " with a slight nervous on her face

" Don't you think this old man knows her? " Jerry asked Killua

" Probably it is " Killua answered

" But why? " Gon asked, wondered

" Don't you ever heard that hermits have strong sense of predicting the future of a person? " Leorio asked

" No, I haven't " Gon said

" Maybe this old hermit can able to predict her future. " Tom said

" It does? " Gon asked

The old hermit looked at her, making her to be curious in confusion.

" Are you one of the warriors, aren't you? " the old man asked

" Yes, I am. My name is Asurina and this is my fiancee and husband to be, Kurapika. He is a hunter. " Asurina said

" It was a great pleasure to meet you, Sir. " Kurapika said

" Ah, I see.. so.. where are you people going at? " the old man asked

" To the Akuras hideout of course " Asurina answered in response

" the hideout of Akuras?! " the old man asked with a surprise manner

" Yes, but why? " Asurina asked

" Are you going to battled against the leader named Saihara? " the old man responded back

" Yes, of course and to rescued a close friend of mine. " Asurina answered in response

" I guess you have to be careful at her. " the old man told her

" Huh? why not? " Asurina asked, with curiosity with confusion

" Hold on.. are you trying to tell to us something? " Jerry asked him

" Actually, I will gonna give you a special technique. " the old man said

" a special technique? " Asurina asked

" Yes, but you will only used against Saihara. But there is an another ability of hers that it was so very dangerous. " the old man told her

" and what is that? " Asurina asked him again

And the old hermit explained to her of the secret ability of Saihara, in which everyone were shocked in astonished of what he had said.

" Hold on... how did you know all about the secret of Saihara anyhow? " Jerry asked

" Actually, to tell this to all of you that I'm a secret expert when it comes to ancient evil monsters. " the old man said in response

" Oh, I see about it.. " Jerry said

" And make sure that don't let your guard down against her and her armies. " the old man told Asurina

" We will " Asurina responded

" Good luck " the old man said

And they continued their mission journey.

" Are you really sure that we will gonna follow of what the old man told us? " Gon asked Asurina

" Perhaps we should follow it, to avoid any more harm and damages. " Asurina said in response

" I see.. " Gon uttered

" I'm afraid we have no other choice " Killua said

" Me too " Tom said

" Same goes to me " Leorio said

And they continued walking on the way to the hideout of the Akuras. But they didn't know or noticed that Stacy had been secretly followed them from behind.

Meanwhile, Maki was been held as a hostage, tied up in ropes in a secret room while Saihara was sitting in a fancy chair.

He felt nervous, and asked " What you will gonna do to me? "

" Oh, don't you worry, my dear boy.. I'll gonna used you as a bait to lured your favorite slayer warrior out there.. whom secretly in love to that hunter with the scarlet eyes. " while cleaning her nails with a nail polisher

" Me? as a bait? what are you talking about? "

" To eliminate her of course "

" You can't do that! "

" Oh, really. Are you still having your secret feelings for her, isn't it? "

" Well, actually.. "

" My.. my.. very obvious, isn't it? "

" actually I still have do have feelings for her despite she was belonged to someone else. Don't ever treat her as a threat. "

She burst into laughter of what he had said.

" What a pity person you were.. " with slight amusement on her face

" Do you think it was funny about that? An evil human just like don't have any heart... unlike her.. "

Saihara became speechless of what he had said but she just ignored him and turned her head away, continuing her cleaning.

Maki, had no other choice but cry, thought on his mind that he had regretted himself of what he did to her and to his own arch love rival Kurapika.

" I had been regretted myself.. of what I had did.. to her and to him as well.. but somehow, I do really need you so much.. even in those times just like this.. I had begged of you... Asurina, saved me from this evil clutches... please... "

Back when, the group were finally made to the hideout of the Akuras.

" So, what was the next step? " Tom asked Asurina

" We have to go in different directions of the castle. " she said

" different directions? but how? " Tom asked again

" I know " Gon said

" Do you really have an idea, Gon? " Jerry asked

And Gon uses his sense of smell ability (just like how he did from the first episode of the anime series, at the ship)

" Not bad.. how he did learned that thing just like that? " Asurina asked Kurapika, with curiosity on her face

" I still remember that one.. back when I was joined in Hunters Exam back then. That was how me and Leorio met him for the very first time. " Kurapika answered in response

" Impressive.. " she said in awe

" Actually, he was raised in an rural island... along with his auntie and grandmother. " Jerry stated

" It does? Unbelievable.. " Asurina said

" It was true, trust me. " Jerry said, with confidence on his face

" I see.. "

Even the others were just smirked it up, including Hisoka as well.

" I know where was the exact direction was. " Gon said to them

" You do? where? " Tom asked

And he pointed a secret passageway that it was lead to the entrance of the hideout.

" You are so very brilliant, Gon. " Jerry said

" No problem, Jerry. "

" Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get moving then. " Leorio asked

So the group continued on, went to the secret passageway that it was lead to the entrance of the hideout. But somehow they had heard a strange footstep approaching.

" Do you guys hear that? " Killua asked, in a cautious facial expression

" I did not hear anything " Tom said

" Wait.. it was looked like.. " Kurapika said

" who? " Jerry asked

They turned their backs around, seeing Stacy and they were surprised in astonished.

" You.. " Kurapika said, gritted with anger

" I had thought that we had thrown him up. " Killua said, with a surprise expression on his face

" Yeah, that was very impossible.. " Jerry said

" I had never expected that I was secretly followed all of you around.. perhaps, I have one more thing that I need to accomplish. " Stacy said, with an amusement on his face

He stares at Asurina, in which she was shocked in surprise.

Each of them, went to her defense, with Kurapika at the center, beside her.

" I will never let you get near to her, got it?!" with anger on his face

In that very moment, his eyes turned scarlet red.

" So.. are you willing to fight against me? Go ahead, you Kurta leech... " Stacy asked, with amusement on his face

" Don't even called me that! " Kurapika said, still with a strong anger on his face

He tried to release his hunter weapon but one of the Phantom Troupe members named Phinks, provoked him.

" Let me fight against that bastard. " he told Kurapika

" But.. "

" You just go ahead immediately. I guess that Saihara was waiting for you and Miss Asurina. "

" I guess he's right, we must go ahead.. and besides, he was a tough one. " Jerry said to Kurapika

He paused for a moment and after that he said " Okay, you go ahead and beat him. "

" Thanks " Phinks said

" Come on, let's go! " Asurina said to them

And they continued went in, leaving Phinks prepared to battled against Stacy.

" Humph, what a tough guy, huh? I guess you are not smart enough to defeat me. No one can able to get in my way between me and my precious Asurina. "

" An evil guy just like you who don't have any respect to a woman just like her. This time, you'll be crushed into bits. "

" Fine by me, show of what you got, tough guy. "

" The name is Phinks, a member of the Phantom Troupe. I'm also as a professional hunter as well. "

And the two were started to battling against with each other.

(Back to Jerry and the others)

" Are you really sure that he can able to handled this? " Tom asked Kurapika

" He can handle this, trust me. " he said in response

" Oh, I see.. " Tom uttered

" Are we almost there? " Jerry asked

" Almost " Kurapika responded

And they continued running on the way to the main hall of the hideout.

Somehow in that very moment, Asurina had a special ability that she can sensed a person's voice through her mind, in which the voice of Maki had called her out.

" please, saved me.. I'm begging you.. please.. "

" That voice... couldn't be... " she thought and that very moment, she runs quickly

" Hey, wait up! " Gon said

" I guess she acting so weird, don't you think? " Tom asked Jerry

" Worrying for Mr. Maki, obviously.. " Jerry answered, with shrugging on his shoulder

" I guess she had know where was the main room was. " Killua said

" Same goes to me as well " Leorio said

And they finally arrived at the main room, with a large door on it.

" Can we opened it? " Jerry asked

" Let me " Kurapika responded

" Are you really sure? " Asurina asked

" Trust me " Kurapika said in response

And he slowly opened the door.

" Hey, it was opened. " Leorio said

" That was fast that I had expected " Jerry said

" Let's go " Kurapika said in a normal tone

And they slowly entered into the room.

When they entered in, they were surprised when they seen Saihara along with the Akuras armies. The torches were turned on.

" I had never expected that you had came here to battled me, my darling Kuroma. " Saihara said, with sweet evil amusement on her face

" Don't ever called me that, Saihara... "

His eyes turned bright red scarlet again.

" ... This time, I will gonna destroyed you once for all. " with madness on his face

The two were looking at each other in different facial expressions while Asurina was looked at him, with slight nervous on her face.

The final war battle between good and evil hunters had finally came in. Will Kurapika can able to defeat Saihara but with the help of Asurina? Will she can able to used the secret weapon that the old hermit gave it to her? Will she can able to saved Maki despite of her love relationship with Kurapika?
