Author's update
Hey! RGQC here with an author's update from me. If you've seen my other author's update in my other stories, you can just ignore this one, but for short, I'm planning to work on a short omake before the year's end. I would probably release it before Christmas and so.
But yeah, before I decide what stories of working for next year and taking a break. In the meantime, I'll address the comments and a significant point about Yang in the previous chapter.
Yes. I concluded that I had overturned Yang a bit too far. When I was writing the previous chapter, I admitted. I thought it would be funny, but after reading your comments and thinking about it.
I made Yang look like a sexual predator by touching Zack's tail without his consent. I can't say I'm proud of it. And it now leaves me conflicted as fuck as to what to do about it. Should I just leave that in and make the omake about Yang apologising to Zack before he goes with Qrow about her behaviour?
Or should I rewrite that entire part of the chapter entirely? I'm honestly not sure about it. What do you think? Medatron mentioned that bringing up that topic later would introduce some interesting dialogues. And I agree. We never know much about Faunus culture and what their animalistic traits mean to them.
Another thing is for Korst, mainly about Zack technically being from another world entirely irrelevant. On the one hand, he has a point. On the other, I do that because Zack doesn't want to keep secrets from the people he now considers friends. And to prevent what happened to Oz later on in the future.
After all, he intends to change the story if he draws suspicion from his friends as to why he acted that way. They will no doubt question why he hid his origins from them. And we both know how that turned out in canon. But that's just me. If you disagree with me Korst, I respect your thoughts on it.
Other than that. I'll see you guys before Christmas.
