Kairi wakes up and stretches, she gets up and gets her outfit for the day on, pink tank top, jeans and high toppers sneakers, she brushes her blonde hair into a ponytail. She then looks into the mirror.

She was slim, thin because she still struggles with gaining weight because of the abuse she had gone through when she was young. She has blonde hair, not dirty blonde but it is a nice blonde. She has blue eyes, but they are always sad as if she has seen a lot in her life and in some ways, she has.

Kairi hasn't been turn into a vampire yet, they agree to do it only in emergencies if she is in critical condition, like her lungs failing due to her asthma or if she ends up getting cancer or something like that but then….they would need to move due to some kind of truce from la push.

She sighs, grabbing her bag she puts in Six Crimson Cranes by Elizabeth Lim, who is about an exiled Princess who is trying to save her kingdom. She loves fantasy books more than any other genre, because they make her forget her reality for a while, especially her nightmares and sleepwalking.

Every night she dreams of a place, a place she knows she has never been to, but also she never recalls anything about the dream, all she knows it's a place called Silent Hill, which sounds like something out of a horror movie.

She shudders but goes down stairs and goes to the kitchen, she smiles at Esme, her adoptive mother, while she misses her mom from years ago despite not remembering much about her, Esme has been great to her.

"Where are the others, Auntie Esme?" she asked.

She doesn't want to dishonor her mom's memory, so Esme is fine calling her auntie.

"Carlisle is at the hospital but the others are hunting. I'll take you to school once you're done." she said.

"Kay."

"Okay, Kairi." Esme corrects her, fondly.

Kairi smiles. As smart as she is, sometimes she still gets her words wrong but it only happens once.

"Okay." she said.

"There you go." Esme said, smiling.

Kairi eats her breakfast while the radio plays piano Sonata no 11, andante grazioso by Mozart.

When she is finished, she washes the dishes then they get into the car and soon she is at the school, Fork's high school.

Kairi goes into her first class, which is her favorite one, english. She has always loved writing and she hopes she can be a writer one day, publish a novel into stores.

She has written short stories for the magazine every now or then, or wrote some poems as suggested by her therapist, Lia Lim.

It helps her, she sits at her usual table as the english teacher comes in and starts the lesson. Once it is finished, she goes to the next one, reads her book in the school's library. She doesn't like hanging around the other kids because one of them, Mike Newton, always gives her greedy eyes. It scares her.

So she reads in the library instead and writes her day so far, in the notebook she has.

The clouds are gray as the roads, it will rain down.

I will get wet, but I do not mind, really. The rain makes me feel like my reality is flowing away into Pennywise's drain.

Blue eyes that have a dark look like a cruel man I once knew, so why do I get the feeling that he wants me in a bad way.

I want someone who wants me for me, not to do the horrible just like him.

But why would anyone want me like a prince would want the princess locked in a big tower.

I only have sorrow in my heart, who would want something or someone with sad sorrow?

I suppose no one wants a girl who has sorrow and a broken heart.

Kairi put away her notebook sadly and read her book until breaktime was over, she went to her next class, then the next one until lunch time.

She waits while listening to her walkman until she saw them coming, she smiles and goes to hug Emmett but then she hears Jessica talking.

"They're Dr and Mrs Cullen's foster kids. They moved down here from Alaska, like, a few years ago."

"They kind of keep to themselves." said the nicer one, Angela.

"Yeah, cause they're all together. Like together, together." Jessica said.

Kairi frowns as Emmett pulls her over to the seat but she continues to listen to the conversation. Kairi wasn't exactly normal, despite still being a human, she is a feral mutant so she has super hearing abilities.

"The younger blonde girl, that's Kairi. She keeps to herself, head in books and all. I think she's Dr Cullen's goddaughter or something, she certainly has the looks for it. They say, Dr Cullen found her being abused and stuff. But Kairi stays away from the rest of us. Anyway, the blonde girl, that Rosalie and the dark haired guy, Emmett, they're, like, a thing. I'm not even sure that's legal. He is also close to Kairi as well, big brother relationship. Trust me, you don't wanna mess with him."

Kairi's hands clenched in anger, if only she knew the truth.

"Bambi?" he asked.

"I'm fine….Big Em…are we…weird?" she asked.

"Someone saying stuff to ya again?" he asked her.

She shakes her head. "No."

"Didn't sound convincing, Bam-bam." he said.

She rolls her eyes, as much as she loves big brother, Em. Sometimes he is just a bloody idoit and it drives her crazy.

Then the rest came to sit with them, she noticed that Edward was looking over at the table that Jessica and Angela were at. She looks to see a new girl, with chocolate brown eyes and long brown hair.

She is pretty, that is for sure. But Kairi wonders if she might be Edward's mate, he has been alone for centuries, that she knows. So he deserves to have some happiness in his life for once.

"Ya wrote anything today?" Emmett asked her.

'No." she said.

"Yeah, let me see?" he asked.

Kairi shakes her head at them. She then glances at Alice, glaring at her. Alice can see people's futures, depending on the path they're on but if the path changes, the future changes.

She can't imagine how annoying that is.

"Alice, please?"

"She wrote a depressing poem, something about Mikey giving her the creepy look?"

Kairi growled. "Thanks, Alice." she mutters unhappily.

"You're welcome." she said.

Kairi rolled her eyes, soon the bell rang and it was science next, Edward and Bella won the golden Orion thing for their project, but Kairi was just glad that she didn't get teamed up with Mike, but Edward left before anyone else got up after the bell rang.

Kairi goes to her locker, grabbing her books for her next class, music. She goes straight to the keyboard, playing the same song she had listened to on the radio. But after that, she plays a song she had written a few days ago.

'I'm on this…path, feeling myself on a broken road.

I cannot trust any eyes, if this is my goodbye….so be it.

Light up, light up, I can't give into that.

All I need is a guiding voice, ready to say.

I'll come with you, dear, all you have to do is take my hand.

I can't stand to see those cruel eyes, it makes it so hard to cry, I try not to…'

She stops playing as tears come to her eyes, even after all this time, Kairi struggles with her past, emotions and everything else.

She sighs as the bell rang to go home, she gets in the car, puts her earphones on and she is listening to Into The New World by SNSD, which is a new Girl kpop group in korea.

She went in and went straight to her room and wrote more poems.

'Emotions are strong, how do one person overcome such strong emotions?

Why do I feel like I'm drawing? How do I rise up to the sky, betting free air just as I once had?

Why does it feel like everything is crashing on me? How do I lift it up and throw it miles away? How do I become strong?

Emotions are too strong, as strong as mountains.

Kairi then stops writing as she hears a knock, she closes her eyes and sighed. "Yes?

"Kairi, it's me. Can I come in?" Carlisle said.

"Sure."

He comes in, she gives a smile. "I heard you had a hard time today."

Bloody Emmett.

"Can I see what you wrote?"

She nods and gives it to him, he reads the two poems and frowns.

"Kai…what is making you feel like this? What has triggered it?" he asked her.

"Mike was staring at me again. The skies are grey, like it was going to rain and Jessica was saying bad stuff about us."

"I see. Kairi, don't let it bother you. I'm sure everything is okay. Just do as you've done, ignore Mike and ignore those cruel words. You be you. It's okay, now I brought you something."

"Daddy."

She has been calling him that since she's been comfortable too, to her, Carlisle is her daddy. No one else, well…other than John Winchester who she met a long time ago.

She misses him, she often wonders if he has found the yellow eye demon yet and killed it? She can't know, though.

"I….It was the one you were after." he said, fondly as he gives her the book.

'The Lucky one by Nicholas Sparks.'

"Thank you, daddy." she said.

He smiles and kisses her forehead gently. "Love you, sweetie. Now come on, Emmett has a new movie for you."

She smiles, grabbing her blanket and teddy and goes down the stairs to watch a movie with her big bro, Emmett.

They end up picking Star Wars the Clone Wars movie, she liked it, she loved Ahsoka, she was pretty cool.

She let Emmett take her to bed, tucking her in and everything. Other than Carlisle, she doesn't mind it that Emmett puts her to bed.

"Night, Bambi."

"Night, big Em." she said as he ruffled her hair.

She giggles and closes her eyes as she feels Carlisle's lip gently on her forehead. "Good night, sweetie."

She closes her eyes, but this time, there was no sleepwalking or bad dreams, she just dreams of a day she will see her big brothers, whom she had gotten separated from when her mom died a long time ago, she hopes one day, that those dreams can become reality…
