I have decided to write a Harry Potter, James/Lily oneshot.
It was winter and their sixth year. Outside the snow was still falling even through there was already a thick blanket on the ground. James potter was outside instead of studying, and was laughing and playing in the snow not with his three best friends but Lily Evans. A girl that until recently hated him.
Up in Gryffindor common room, Sirius, James all-time best friend, was watching them from the window. "I can see what's happening" Sirius said watching as Lily hit James in the face with a snowball. "What's that?" asked Remus who was reading a book on the couch. He got up and came to stand in the window next to him. "Their falling in love, Moony" Sirius said. "Yeah, so" Remus said watching Lily and James flop back into the snow next to each other. "SO! Do you understand what this means! If he falls in love our trio's done to two. Well unless you count wormtail" Sirius said turning to Remus, Who stared at him a moment, before laughing. "Padfoot, don't be silly. James ain't going to ditch us. Were his best friends" Remus said. "Fine!" Sirius said with a sigh, "but if they get married and have a kid I get dibs on the godfather role!". Remus laughed and sat back on the couch. "I ain't fit to take care of a kid anyway, so the jobs all yours," he said settling down on the couch again. Sirius grinned and turned to look out the window again to see Lily snuggled up to James looking a the stars. "I can't wait to see her face when she finds out he's deer" Sirius said to no one in particular.
