Kat walked down the long hall way to science class. Her twin Mouse walked past her. They high-fived. "Science" Kat whispered.
"Math" Mouse whispered back. All of a sudden they change directions and books and hurried onto each others class.
They normally switched classes at this time of day for one reason. Kat got a's in math and Mouse in science. The bell rang and the halls were quiet again.
"Shut up!" Mr. Nato yelled to the class. Mouse cringed. 'Old bat' Kuronue walked to his seat quickly. Yukina laughs and Mr. Nato yelled at her. "You shut up too." She started to cry. No one yells at her. Hiei stood and walked to him. "Hiei sit down. You hit me again and you're out of here!" Mr. Nato hid behind of the desk.
"I don't care! Don't yell at my baby sister!" Hiei hit him and he flew out of the door.
Later at lunch Yoko and Kat sat there talking. Kuronue and Mouse, doing the same. "Hey Kat did you see Hiei being escorted from the building?"
"Yeah I also saw Mr. Nato with the medics. I guess he yelled at Yukina." Kat said looking out the window. "Man it's raining again." The down poor was hard as it hit the girls. Kuronue and Yoko held tight to them trying to stop the hurtful rain.
They separate at Kat and Mouse's drive way, their parents didn't like their choice in men. They often said things like "Girls why don't you go out with those boys next door. They're nice." They lived in the rich neighborhood. Hating their parents they often chose the bad road to make them mad.
Mouse walked into Kat's room and plopped onto her bed, "mom and dad are walking up to talk to us again…" she said "I think they need to drop it and leave us alone."
"I agree, I mean its our lives and our choice to do what we want to do…. Not like they are going to make the choices for us our whole lives. They just need to back off." Kat said putting her brush down from her canvas. Painting was a hobby she picked up from her father but she was slowly loosing interest in the painting and was growing up like Mouse had already done.
Their parents entered and told Kat to sit on the bed by Mouse. "girls we know u must love those boys, but we think u should date more refined young men like the neighbors kids." Their mother said.
"I disagree I think if we date people from other backgrounds it makes for a better world, since we would be like no one else and not be rich or poor but in the middle class." Kat said.
"Honey who wants to be in middle class when you can be a rich and refined woman in politics or government." Said her father. "Please date people like us. Not some guys from the south side."
"No we are not going to brake and left you win the battle for our love lives and I think that our choice was a good one since they have not tried any thing yet and said they are waiting till marriage to that with the woman they will do it with the rest of their lives." Mouse said.
