This is Part III of the Thanksgiving Special. Last time, Blaze, Belial Aether, and their team arrived at the old Shaolin temple investigating the energy sources, but then complete chaos erupted as not only did the Empire attack, revealing their revived soldiers and alliance with Captain Avarice, but the Regime showed up, and so did freaking Lobo, seeking a bounty on Captain Avarice. In all the chaos, Belial Aether managed to sneak off and start tracking down the energy sources. So, what, or maybe who, does he find? Read on to discover...

(Our scene opens on a door being slammed to the chaos outside, followed by a flashlight being turned on, revealing Belial Aether in its faint beam.)

Belial Aether: (Looking around) Well this isn't creepy at all. (Shudders) Reminds me of a Hom-Dai tomb.

(With the tiniest bit of hesitation, Belial Aether continues through the dark corridor. But unbeknownst to him, he steps on a pressure plate, causing a giant log to swing down at him, which he dodges without hesitation by backflipping over it.)

Belial Aether: Okay... that's new.

(Dodging the death trap, Belial Aether keeps moving until he reaches what appears to be an antechamber of some kind.)

Belial Aether: Wait a second, where did any of this come from? I thoroughly inspected this place when the monks set up here, and I don't remember any of this!

(But as Belial Aether observes the new room he didn't know existed, the room suddenly turns cold, freezing mist filling the room as ice covers the floor)

Belial Aether: (Shivers) Where'd all this cold come from?!

(At this point, the sound of footsteps breaking the thin layer of ice on the floor sends Belial Aether into action, prepared to fight off the new threat, a blue-clad warrior we only see from behind.)

?: From me.

Belial Aether: (To himself) Alright, keep calm, let's do this. (To the new fighter) Whoever you are, I have not come to harm you.

?: So has said everyone else who has sought me out. Very few of them were honest.

Belial Aether: You can count me among those very few then, Frosty.

?: Kombat will decide.

Belial Aether: Sure we can't talk this out?

(And with that, the unknown figure throws a bolt of ice at Belial Aether, which he dodges.)

Belial Aether: Guess we can't then.

(And now the battle begins, Belial Aether vs this unknown figure in blue. While we still don't know who this blue figure is, he fights like a warrior of the highest caliber, and Belial Aether, with centuries of experience, is having trouble keeping up with this guy. But ultimately, they appear to cancel each other out, each forced back into a corner of the room by each other's abilities.)

Belial Aether: I'll admit it, whoever you are, you're pretty good.

?: You are quite the fighter yourself.

Belial Aether: Like recognizes like I guess.

?: Perhaps I can trust you after all.

Belial Aether: Tried telling you that before we started. But now you've picked a fight. (Cracks his knuckles) And you're going to finish it.

?: Gladly.

(But just as Belial Aether and this blue figure are about to run back in and punch one another in the face, lightning strikes in the room, depositing a third figure, one clad in a wide-brimmed bamboo hat and wearing white and sky blue)

2nd ?: Cease this kombat!

Belial Aether: Oh great, there's two of them. (Puts it together) You guys must be the sources of the energy we were investigating!

2nd ?: Energy sources?

Belial Aether: That's why I came here.

?: You have brought an army to our doorstep?

Belial Aether: Not me anyways, but two followed us. And we could really use some help in defeating them.

2nd ?: We do not wish to intervene in your realms' wars. We simply wish to find a way back to our realm before it is destroyed.

Belial Aether: This may sound crazy to you guys, but I think I've got a way to get you home.

?: You had best not be deceiving us.

2nd ?: Patience. Let us hear him out.

Belial Aether: Let's just say you two aren't the only multiversal travelers I've made this offer to.

2nd ?: So there are more of us.

Belial Aether: None from your realm, I know that much. But in general, yes.

?: And you have the ability to return us home?

Belial Aether: I have a guy who should be able to. It's going to take some time, but it's nothing we can't make work. In the meantime, my friends and I coul really use some help out there. It's serious chaos and a lot of good people are going to die if we don't do something about this.

2nd ?: Give us a moment to discuss.

?: Are you sure we can trust him?

2nd ?: Normally in this moment, I would consult with the Elder Gods, but I have been unable to contact them since we were transported to this realm. And so far, this warrior is our only way to return home.

?: He has proven himself a capable kombatant.

2nd ?: Further reason we may as well take him at his word.

?: Very well. But if he turns on us, I will not hesitate to end him.

2nd ?: Agreed.

Belial Aether: (Having heard the whole thing) Good call on your lack of hesitation, Frosty. If I were promising me this as well, I'd be holding me to high standards.

2nd ?: We have decided, we will aid you in your mission until we are able to return to our realm.

Belial Aether: Alright then, let's get out there and kick some ass.

(And with that, Belial Aether leads his two new allies back towards the battlefield as our scene ends for today)
