We open to the living of the owl house with eda and owlbert playing a card game with luz king and brook watch eda shuffles the deck owlbert narrowing at the game.
Eda: now watch closely you two hexes Hold'em is the most tricky game on the boiling isles any proper witch knows how to play.
Eda puts a card down on the table lightning comes from the cards sending owlbert flying to cover behind the side of the table all the cards stand and roar owlberts surge forward and attack eda's making owlbert smirk.
Brook: man she's really intense in This game.
Eda: now when it looks like the deck is stacked against you that's when you break out the wild card.
She holds up a card with a tower on it glow green and owlberts cards disappear in a flash of fire fiery letters spelling out winner eda appear and disappear over the table owlbert hops back on and hoots at eda his wings extended.
Eda: woo i win in your adorable owl face ah I love the feeling of victory it feels sorta fluffy.
Feathers starts to grow on her arm.
Luz: uh Eda it's happening again.
Eda: what's happening again.
Brook: your curse is returning look.
Eda yells in shock.
We cut to eda's room.
Eda opens a chest only to see that she has run out of elixir.

Eda: y'all right we need to head to the market.

The first demon hunter traces a spell circle, creating lightning in his hand.

The demon hunters continue on, revealing Willow and Gus, looking dejected, behind the demon.

Willow: Well first, we find an object to animate. Since it's our first time we should pick something meaningful.

Taps the figure's stomach.

Brook: well not the best option but It'll do for now.

Brook: uh you guys did the entire house just hiccup.

Willow: No, I think—I think we might've animated the house by accident!
Luz : The house? Hooty continues making ghostly noises. Luz runs outside and nearly falls off the ledge but brook quickly caught her before she could fall Gus and Willow join her outside as the House begins to walk They all scream The door slams shut.
Luz: Hooty? Hooty! Hooty, you have to stop. Runs up to the door.

Brook: he appears to be in some kind of trance. The Owl House steps through two trees.
The jostling makes Gus yell as he and Luz lose their balance He nearly falls off, but Luz brook and Willow catch him.
Willow brook and luz: Gus. Brook: I'm guessing that somehow your magic must've speared through the whole house instead of the doll.

Luz and Willow brook grunt as they try to not drop Gus They both nearly fall and grab the other's hand for balance The glow returns.
Luz: hooty stop. The House stops moments before it would have walked off a cliff.
Luz and Willow brook pull Gus back up to safety and they all let go of each other, staring at their hands.
Gus: how'd we do that.
Brook: wait my hands there also glowing but how.
Willow: im guessing your friendship with others is powerful than we thought and mixed when we caught each other.
Luz: let's all hold hands again. They do, glowing once again.
The Owl House takes several steps away from the cliff.
Willow: We're controlling it with the power of friendship Uh, and the moon Probably the moon.
Gus: This is amazing! What do we do now.
Brook: amazing who knew that friendship is power to every character in every situation. Luz: what was that. Brook: nothing.
Luz: On the other hand, we should probably stay put.
Gus: On the other hand, we've got a giant walking house and should totally take it on a joyride! Luz looks at the now-descending moon.
Luz: Okay, okay, but we gotta be back before the moon sets or Eda will kill me.
Brook and Gus: yeah joyride. With that they cruise through the forest and they see boscha walk past them with a crow phone and a duffel bag.

Boscha:Ugh! Yes, Mom. I'm going to a moonlight conjuring No Mom You can't come. And yes Mom it's sad that you're asking.
On the crow. She lets go of the crow which caws as it flies away She turns around and sees the Owl House.

Luz: oh yeah i know exactly what your thinking. Grabs a megaphone out of know where.
Luz: Hmm Hey H-Hey you You should, uh, stop being so mean to people You're kind of a jerk. All laugh.

Demon Hunter #1 gives the signal for the crossbow to be shot A second giant bolt and rope secure the house further Demon Hunter #1 jumps up in front of the kids.

Cut to the Owl House tied down a large cart being pushed through the woods by demon hunters. One stands atop a cliff and blows into a horn. Cut to the front door, Hooty making strange noises as Luz tied in chains next to brook and Willow and Gus tide in rope.
Luz: grrr how isn't my logia powers working. She feels her body all weak.
Brook: luz I'm guess that these chains are made up of sea prism stones.
Luz: wait aren't those the kind that has properties of the sea and weakens a devil fruit user.
Brook: yes but I'm pretty sure they don't know that if people found that about this they could physically hurt you and me with this stuff but I need to give you something I managed to sneak it in my pockets before those brutes tied us up.
Luz: what is it brook.
Brook: I can't tell you yet but I'm close enough to fish it out of my pocket. He hand her the object that she took and placed in her pocket.

Luz: i forgot to tell you that all devil fruits taste horrible. With that willow felt a surge of power flow within her feeling the powers from the fruit take effect the brach they were hanging from started to grow larger pulling them up and putting them back on the cliff.
Willow: now let's go save brook. She burst through the rope freeing her and Gus out of it and have a vine break the chains.
Cut to the cliff with the Owl House.
Demon Hunter #3: Yeah, they tried to fight back and they nearly got me But you know I handled it.
Demon Hunter #1: They were children, Tom. A shadow falls over them.
Willow has made the small root grow into a huge plant and she, Luz, and Gus are standing atop a leaf She moves one of the thorny vines to cut the rope and freeing brook.
Willow: We may be children, but we're also witches Powerful ones. She forms her hand into tree bark that vines come out of hitting one of them.
Demon hunter #4: huh what they aah. His entire body began to feel like he was getting every single drop of liquid was leaving his body.
Willow: woah ok that's cool. She use her other hand make a vine and It flings Tom into the distance.
Demon Hunter #1 pulls a sword and slices off the tip of one of the vines. A three-eyed witch tries to hit a vine with an axe, but misses. The vine grabs their ankle and flings them into a pile of rubble while slashing at them with pointed thorns on it. Willow, Luz, and Gus run to the House with brook holding the door for them while the plant is busy with the other demon hunters. Luz fires several lasers beams to create a dust cloud then closes the door behind her.
Luz: Everyone, quick join hands. They join hands Cut to Demon Hunter #1 cutting through a vine with a shock spell. As he does, the Owl House stands.
Demon Hunter #1: (Lifting his eyepatch) Uh... The Owl House steps forward crushing him. Cut to the moon now on the water.
Luz: Oh, no. I don't mean to step on this victory but we gotta get home before Eda does.
Brook: then we better hurry before she come back. The Owl House walks away, leaving the ruins of the battle behind. Demon Hunter #1 groans.
Demon Hunter #3: "They're just children, Tom." Cut to the usual location of the Owl House as it sits down in the crater it left.
Cut to the living room,
where Luz opens one eye.
Brook: did we do it.
Luz: i don't know. Hooty: (Opens door)Is the room spinning or is it just me? (Chuckles)Ah. Just a little house humor Ooh.
