Anyway with out further ado Lets get on with the chapter
Chapter 11: Preliminaries: Part 3 Final
'Where am I?' Naruto thought as he was surrounded in nothing but black
Then there was a flash of red making Naruto cover his eyes. When he opened them he saw that the Black cat was here with him, Naruto kneeled down to it as the cat just looked at Naruto tilting it's head
'Hey little one, can you show me what you found out?' Naruto asked, the cat nodded and started moving in a direction
Naruto took this time to reflect on what happened so far and what his plans for the future are going to be.
(Naruto's Pov)
As I was walking with the black cat, I was thinking on what happened up to this point, I was tricked into stealing the scroll of sealing for Mizuki sensei because i was told that i was able to pass the academy if I did, then I was told that im the host of the Nine Tailed Fox, but I was able to learn the "Shadow clone jutsu" technique from the scroll
I then passed the academy to only be put on a team with my childhood friend Yukino who i had a crush on but she was with Sasuke Uchiha who was also put on the same team with Sakura Haruno, then we met our sensei Kakashi Hatake which he was cool except he was late to alot of our team meetings.
After alot of D-Rank Missions we finally got a C-Rank mission to the wave thanks to me, we had to escort a guy named Tazuna he was master bridge builder from The Land of Waves. Half way through the mission we encountered Zabuza one of the seven ninja swordsman of the mist, and thanks to the team work me and Sasuke showed we were able to free Kakashi sensei from the water prison he was in and were able to get away and make it to Tazuna's house
We met Tsunami who was Tazuna's daughter and Inari who was Tsunami's son, after a little while we found out that Zabuza was alive when we thought the hunter nin killed him with senbon needles that have a low kill rate
Kakashi sensei then taught us how to climb a tree with our feet, he told us this is Tree walking exercise to have better control of our chakra control, we then came to the bridge with Tazuna only to see some of Tazuna's workers all on the ground that was when Zabuza showed himself with the hunter nin from before as they started to do battle with them in the end the Hunter nin was Haku who I encountered in the forest while I was sleeping from exhaustion and then he ended up getting killed by Kakashi sensei's jutsu that was supposed to be for Zabuza
Zabuza was then betrayed by Gato the one who hired him and Haku to kill Tazuna, Zabuza killed Gato who was making fun of Haku but he got killed in the process by his followers, After that Tazuna managed to finished the bridge and named it The Great Naruto Bridge,
We got back to the village and Kakashi sensei enrolled us in the Chunin exams, after the written test came the forest of death where my team abandoned me, but because of that I was able to awaken a mysterious power and I was able to meet Keiran who told me about a legend of The Queen of Light and The Prince of Darkness and thier promise to each other, he then talked about the changes my body went through my awakening he then went through some of the training im going to do after the second part of the exams are over,
I can't believe my life changed in a single day...I now have a big responsibility now. Keiran also said i will meet Iris and her partner some day and its coming near, also she actually showed herself to me at that, it's a shame I couldn't get her name, it would've been useful to know in advanced when we meet again
I was broken out of my thoughts when i heard the meowing of the black cat
(3rd Pov)
Naruto was broken out of his thoughts by the black cat trying to get his attention
"Hmm...Are we there yet?" Naruto asked
The cat nodded while looking in a certain direction making Naruto look as well to see a door
"In there?" He asked and the cat nodded while jumping on his shoulder
"Well...alright then" Naruto said and walked towards the door and opened it causing a flash of light to blind him for a little bit
(Scene Change)
When Naruto opened his eye's he was in a familiar room, it was the same room he and his team were in when he walked through the doors leading into the building, and what he saw or who he saw shocked him it was the same guy from before the one who ambushed him and his team in the forest, he was just leaning on the wall waiting for something
"You!" Naruto said and got into a fighting stance but the cat from his shoulders jumped off and went in front of him shaking it's head in the negative
This confused Naruto but then remembered where he is at the moment
"Oh right, this is just a memory" Naruto said and relaxed, the black cat jumped on his shoulder again and sat down
Clack*
Naruto heard the sound of the door opening and looked too see Kabuto and his team walking in the room
When Kabuto entered through the door his charming and happy demeanor took a more sinister turn as he looked to see the one who attacked team 7 back in the forest
"A good Harvest?" the man asked
"Yes, more then I expected. I learned a lot about him during the second part of the exam, and I've got it all the data on this." Kabuto said as he held up a ninja info card
"You want it?"
"Of course" the man said as he took the card "So tell me, what do you think?"
"Your curiosity is truly insatiable, Lord Orochimaru" Kabuto said
"So That's his name, but why does Kabuto know who he is?" Naruto said
"As a Sound Village spy, you see things others don't. You're opinions is of interest to me." Orochimaru said
"Kabuto was a spy all along, so that's why he was able to get information on the other participants, but why would he want that? is it for certain people he wanted information on, No I don't think that's it, that Orochimaru guy put something on Sasuke's neck before I was unconscious. Then there was the sound team as they ambushed my squad. That's not a coincidence, since it seems Kabuto and his team along with Orochimaru are from the sound village they must've told them to target Sasuke specifically him, maybe because of the mark? I need more information about this, also I need to tell the old man about this, he needs to know" Naruto said
"I know that you will always make the decision either way, but I really think you should here what I have to say" Kabuto said gaining Naruto attention
Orochimaru looked at his number one spy with interest, knowing that if he wants to report something in person rather then on a card then it must be rather serious. "Oh, well then, do tell"
"It seems Naruro possessed a unique power that was more powerful then the curse mark" Kabuto said causing Orochimaru eyes to widen
"Well that is intriguing...You sure that it wasn't the Nine Tails power?" Orochimaru asked
"I'm certain it wasn't the Nine-Tails, besides I'm sure you felt that burst of power from a few days ago, I'm certain Naruto was the cause of that" Kabuto further surprising Orochimaru, he too felt that burst of power, he'll he's pretty sure everyone in the elemental nations felt that kind of power but to think Naruto was the cause of it
"Im going to have to see this for myself then, if what your saying is true then Naruto will be an obstacle for the invasion" Orochimaru said
"As you wish Lord Orochimaru"

"Oh no..."
A flash of light enveloped the middle of the room making Naruto cover his eyes as everything went white
(Scene Change)
Naruto opened his eyes and stood up suddenly as he looked to see he was back in the private room again and sighed
"Naruto you okay!?" Catra said and Naruto looked at her
"Yeah...yeah I'm fine" he said sitting back down
"What did you see?" Catra asked
Naruto thought about it before answering "I think there's going to be an invasion coming to the leaf soon" Catra was shocked
"Really!?" Naruto nodded and was rubbing his forehead on what to do
"What are we going to do?" she asked but Naruto shook his head
"I'm not sure just yet, all I know is that I have to tell the old man about this and that I messed up by revealing my Dark powers to everyone. Damn!" Naruto said
"What do you mean?"
"The guy from before the one that attacked my team is named Orochimaru, and thanks to Kabuto who was a spy for him, now know's about my Dark powers" Naruto said, further surprising Catra
"What are you going to do?"
"I can't do anything about it now, besides I need more information about this invasion they talked about. I still need training in order to prepare for it" Naruto said getting up with Catra and walking towards the black cat who was just silent
"You did good getting this information, good job." Naruto said, the cat nodded at him, he lifted his arm while dark energy surrounded it and the Cat disappeared in black smoke
"Alright, I think it's time to get back to the others now" Naruto said, Catra nodded her head
Before Naruto could go he took a look at his jumpsuit to see it was still torn, he then went to the cabinet where the third showed him the extra shirts, he took off his jacket and shirt and put on a black T-shirt that was available and left the room
'I wonder who's fighting now' he thought
(Scene Change)
Naruto made it to the main area and he noticed that Hinata and Neji where on the arena floor, and that Hinata was crying.
'This doesn't look good' Naruto thought to himself as he made his way upstairs
Naruto made his way upstairs as he kept his eye's trained on the fight below. Something felt off, the tension in the room was suffocating.
"Give up Hinata, no matter what you do, no matter how much you try. You can't defy fate. My eye's see everything and you are simply too weak to fight me." Hinata just stood there as more tears slid down her face.
"What's happening?" Naruto said as he stood by his team and team 10
Ino looked at Naruto who came back before speaking "Hinata and Neji are facing each other, but it looks like they have bad blood with each other, more or so with Neji then Hinata" Ino explained, Naruto nodded
Yukino saw that Naruto was back and was glad he was okay
"I'm glad your okay Naruto, You missed Shikamaru's fight with the Sound Kunoichi" Yukino said
"Really, Good job Shikamaru although you probably did something lazy to win right?" Naruto said
"Gimme a break, this whole thing was a drag" he replied and sighed
"Everything for you is a drag" Ino said and rolled her eyes, while Naruto let out a small smirk. He then looked at Yukino
"Did your fight come up?" he asked and she shook her head
"No, my turn didn't come yet, hopefully it's soon though" she said and Naruto nodded and focused on the fight
Hinata took a breath as she activated her byakugan got into her stance. "I-I won't gi-give up without a-at least trying." Neji looked furious as he ran at Hinata and the two started a fight that was more akin to a dance than anything else.
"look at how they move, it's incredible." Said Ino
"Yes! That is the Hyuga style taijutsu, it's one of the most dangerous taijutsu styles in the world. They can injure you with a single touch of a finger. The style relies on shutting down the chakra system in the body by closing tenketsu points one can only see with their bloodline." Guy told all the genin nearby when he heard Ino's remark.
'So it's only effective if it's close combat' Naruto thought
"There evenly matched." Sakura said as she looked at the two combatants as they stood still and traded palm strikes and finger jabs. Each blow was being slapped away and countered with a strike from the other.
Both Naruto and Yukino narrowed thier eye's looking at Neji and Hinata
""No."" They said at the same time, Sakura and Ino turned their heads towards the two
"Neji has the upper hand, he's managed to land several blows to her arm." Yukino explained, Everyone turned back to the fight in time to see Hinata land a blow Neji's shoulder only to make a horrified face.
"I see you finally noticed." Neji grabbed Hinata's arm and rolled up her beige jacket to show her arm littered with red dots where he had struck her. "As I told you, it was your fate to lose." Neji used her distraction and hit her several times all over her body before landing a blow to her chest that launched her across the room. Hinata stood back up on shaky legs
"Why did you stand back up?" Neji questioned the beaten Kunoichi
"I." Hinata coughed up blood before continuing. "I can't just give up, I know how much you hurt because of the clan elders, just like I do." Neji looked absolutely livid and rushed Hinata everyone looked on with widened eye's.
Before anyone can react Naruto and Catra disappeared from the stands
Neji was about to hit Hinata but Naruto appeared infront of her taking the blow for her
Hinata, Yukino, Ino saw this and thier eye's widen in horror
"Naruto!"
Everyone was shocked on what just happened, Neji had wide eyes as he looked at Naruto
"Why did you interfere! This doesn't involve you!" Neji said
"Seriously? You were gonna kill Hinata weren't you? You really expect me to sit idly by and let that happen?" Naruto said and looked up to see his now green eyes staring into Neji's pail blue ones
The other rookies looked stunned at the speed Naruto had displayed, he moved faster than any of them could see
"That's enough! The match is over, The winner is Neji Hyuga" Hayate said as he got between Naruto and Neji, Naruto looked back to see Hinata was on the ground unconscious and went over to her
Catra jumped off of Naruto's shoulder and went towards Hinata's unconsciousness body, as the medical ninja were making thier way towards them
Catra's body started to glow white as she was ontop of Hinata, this surprised the spectators
'Catra what are you doing?' Naruto asked
'Im healing her' she replied as she was glowing more after a bit, the light died down and Catra got off of Hinata, and she started to open her eye's
"Hinata are you alright?" Naruto asked and she looked at him with a blush
"Y-yes, I-im fine, what happened?" she asked
"You went unconscious during your fight with Neji" he replied
Hinata thought about it and then remembered what happened and looked at Naruto with a worried expression
"W-what about you, are you o-okay?" She asked and Naruto nodded
"Don't worry, Im fine" he said as the medics came and took Hinata away
Naruto sighed and felt his chest area where a hard object is 'Im glad I channeled my Dark energy into my chest to make armor, it would've been really bad if i didn't' he then looked at Neji who was making his way to the others
"If you truly believe that our fate was decided when we were born then you're an idiot." Naruto said stopping Neji
"A few words from you won't change anything, she will always be weak" Neji said with a glare
"Our fates are in our own hands Neji, and Hinata has more strength than you could ever imagine." Naruto spoke in an even tone, he had not intended to speak up but Neji's talk of fate had really rubbed him the wrong way. Whenever he looked at Hinata he saw past the shy exterior and saw the same look that Haku had. A look saying they would sacrifice everything for their loved ones, a look he saw in himself
Naruto looked at Hinata's blood that was on the ground and placed his fingertips in it making a fist and pointing it at Neji
"When we face each other in the finals, be prepared to lose, I'll show you that our fates aren't set in stone" Naruto declared
The rest of the contestants looked at the exchange with intrigue.
"We'll seen then, won't we?" Neji said continuing to walk
Catra jumped up on Naruto's shoulder again as both him and Neji made thier way up the steps to the others
Naruto made his way to his team and team 10 again
"Naruto! Are you alright?" Ino said once he got close
"Yeah Im fine" Naruto said
"That was reckless Naruto, you could have easily been hurt or worse" Yukino said with her finger pointed at him
"If i didn't, Hinata would have been killed" Naruto said
"Yeah...but still" Yukino said frowning
"She's right Naruto, you could have gotten yourself into the hospital or disqualified with that stunt you pulled" Kakashi said supporting Yukino
"It's fine, I channeled Chakra into my Chest area to lessen the power of his attack, and I'll be more careful for now on" Naruto said, he didn't want this conversation to drag out any longer, thankfully it didn't as the proctor called the next match,
"Yukino Kiera and Dosu Kinuta please come down to the arena" Hayate said aloud
"It's your turn now, Good luck" Naruto said
Yukino nodded with a smile "Thanks"
Yukino got a good luck from the rest of the rookies as she made her way down with Dosu already down with the proctor waiting for her
"Are you two ready?" Hayate asked, they both nodded
"Okay... Begin!" Hayate said and made space for the two
Dosu immediately dashed at Yukino 'I have to end this quick' he thought
Yukino made some hand signs and shouted
"Ice Style: Icicle Spear!"
Medium size Icicle's came from Yukino's hands as she hurled it towards Dosu
Dosu easily blocked the Jutsu by using his metal contraption as he closed the distance between them
"That guy wants to end this quick, huh" Ino said
"Looks like it" Shikamaru said
"I'm glad I'm not going against him" Choji said
"It won't be that easy though" Naruto said
Dosu was infront of Yukino and threw a punch which she dodged but remembered what happened in the forest with Lee and cursed herself
"Ahh!" she screamed holding her ear in pain
"Hah, did you already forget what I did to that guy in green in the forest?" Dosu said
'Damn, how could I forget' she thought
"Wait what happened!?" Ino asked
"It's his gauntlet, he is able to make a silent sound wave that attacks the human ear." Lee explained when he heard the question
'I see' Naruto thought and continued to watch the fight 'What would you do now'
'That gauntlet is a problem' Yukino thought 'Okay how about this'
Yukino started to use some Ice Jutsu's on Dosu who either Blocked or dodged her attempts with his gauntlet
"I don't get it what's she up too, this isn't her style of fighting?" Sakura said, but everyone was only focused on the fight to answer
"Her method of fighting is sloppy" Neji commented
Tch*
Naruto, Shikamaru and Kakashi narrowed thier eye's to the two fighters, more specifically Dosu's Gauntlet
"So That's what she was doing" Naruto muttered but was heard from Ino and Sakura
"What do you mean?" Sakura asked
"Just look" he said not taking his eyes off the fight
"Is that all you got, so what happened in the forest was just a fluke?" Dosu said
Yukino was panting but stood up and made another set of hand signs
"Ice Style: Icy Wind"
She placed her hands out and a strong gust of cold wind erupted making everyone cover them selves because of the freezing wind
Dosu brought his gauntlet up but didn't notice it was turning into Ice, Yukino saw this as her chance to strike 'Finally!'
Yukino brought out a kunai and rushed at Dosu who was surprised and brought his gauntlet up again and when Yukino brought her kunai down on the gauntlet it shattered surprising Dosu and the others
"Woah!"
"So That's why she used all those Ice attacks" Shikamaru said
"It was to freeze his gauntlet so she can destroy it" Ino said and Naruto nodded
"That was clever" Kakashi said
"What did you do!" Dosu asked in disbelief
"You were so focused on my attacks that you didn't notice the effects it had on that gauntlet of yours" Yukino replied and dashed towards Dosu
She appeared in front of him and kicked him up sending him flying, she made one hand sign
"Ice Style: Ice Clone!"
Five copies of Yukino appeared in Ice and jumped up towards Dosu
One clone kicked him up higher
One of them kicked him down and another kicked him back up
Yukino threw one of her clones at Dosu who punched him in the gut
Yukino and her clone channeled Chakra through thier body's and jumped up, they were above Dosu and Yukino threw her clone too Dosu who kicked him down and the regular Yukino did some hand signs and clenched her fist
"Ice Style: Freezing Fist!"
Yukino's fist started glowing with Ice energy as she brought her fist down to Dosu's back making him crash to the ground making a crater as dust coated the arena
*BOOM*
Everyone watched with shocked at the display of skill, Kakashi and Hiruzen had on a proud smile as they watched, well Hiruzen did but Kakashi had his face mask on so he just closed his eyes
As the dust cleared they saw that Dosu was knocked unconscious and Hayate came to check on him, after confirming he was unconscious he spoke loud so everone can hear him
"The winner of the match is...Yukino Kiera"
Yukino had on a smile as she made her way back to the others
"That was awsome Yukino!" Ino said
"You did well" Kakashi said giving an eye smile
"Thanks" Yukino said and then looked at Naruto who turned to her
"Good job" he said, she smiled and nodded at him but then held her ear in pain
"Yukino whats wrong!" Sakura said
"It's my ear, it still hurts because of his sound attack, Im fine though" She said dismissively but then felt a hand on her cheek and blushed once she saw Naruto was the one who had his hand on her cheek
"N-naruto w-what are you-"
"Hold still" Naruto said and she did what he asked
Naruto channeled his dark energy into her body and into her ear, it was reckless of him to do this because if he messed up, then who knows what might happen to her but he was confident because he was only healing her, Yukino felt her body heat up and shake, she didn't know what Naruto was doing but whatever it was she felt her ear start to heal
"There, is it better now" Naruto asked and she nodded with her blushing more
"T-thank you" she said and he nodded
"Man i wonder when my match will start" Choji said
"Im pretty sure it will be soon, besides if you win then ill treat you all to a buffet" Asuma said to his team and Choji got fired up
"Oh yeah! Im going to beat who ever im up against so I can eat!" Choji said with fire in his eye's, his team mates and sensei sweat dropped at his behavior
"Ok this will be the final match for the Preliminaries, so would Rock Lee and Garra come down to the arena" Hayate said shocking the others
Lee looked who had been quiet since his teammate had been called exploded in a loud cheer
"Yes! I'll finally show everyone my flames of youth!" Lee somersaulted over the rail as Gaara appeared in a body flicker of sand.
"Wait im not going to fight?" Choji asked with the others wondering the same thing
Hayate looked at him and spoke "Do to the number of people it is un even so you win by default" He said
"Oh...YEAH FREE FOOOOOOD!" Choji screamed out while Asuma eye's were wide as saucers as his mouth was open
"Well you better keep your end of the deal sensei" Shikamaru said sighing
"B-but he didn't win"
"Technically he one by default" Ino commented
'Thats a sad way of winning though' Naruto thought
Kakashi put a hand on Asuma's shoulder
"Im sorry for your wallets lost"
Before Asuma could speak he was interrupted by Guy who spoke loudly to his student
"GO LEE! Show everyone the fruits of your hard work!" Guy's voice was even louder than Lee's.
Gaara looked on emotionlessly as his opponent stood at the ready with pure determination shining in his eyes.
"If both fighters are ready, Begin!" Gaara looked on with his face as calm as ever as his opponent sprinted at him and tried to punch him only for the lid on the gourd on Gaara's back to shoot off as sand came out and blocked the green-clad genin. Lee quickly backed up circled around him before trying again as he jumped in the air and did a spin kick.
"Leaf Hurricane!" The kick was blocked once again as the sand jumped up by itself to protect Gaara and Lee was forced back. Lee continued to try different angles but nothing was working, his every attempt being stopped by the sand. Gaara looked up for the first time in the match and the sand shot up and slammed into Lee. The green-clad ninja crossed his arms as the sand pushed him away from Gaara and towards the wall. Lee quickly regained his footing as he rushed Gaara again and tried a variety of different combination moves but it was all futile.
"Why doesn't Lee try some ninjutsu or genjutsu?" Sakura's inquiry was answered by Guy.
"That's because he can't. Lee can only use taijutsu." Sakura looked perplexed as everyone else
"How is that possible?" Ino said in disbelief
"You see Lee was born with chakra coils too small to properly channel chakra for anything other than taijutsu. Lee is not talented at all, but it was through his pure work ethic that he has reached this level! Lee's dream is to become a great ninja despite his inability to use gen or ninjutsu!" Sakura was about to question Guy once more but was stopped by the man's shout. "Take them off Lee! You have my permission!" Guy posed with teeth sparkling as he gave Lee a thumbs up.
Lee who was dodging sand let loose a million-watt smile as he jumped from the floor to the top of the statue. "Are you sure Guy-sensei!?"
"Yes! Go, it's time to show your blazing flames of youth!"
"Of course Guy-sensei!." Lee pulled up his leg warmers to show ankle weights. Lee unstrapped the weights and held them at his sides.
"Please, as if some measly weights will do anything against Gaara." Naruto heard the Sand kunoichi speak to her makeup wearing teammate. who nodded along. His attention was brought back to his own team sensei.
"A bit antiquated don't you think Guy." Kakashi questioned Guy who said nothing, his sole focus on his student down below. Lee let go of the weights and as they hit the ground they made huge impact craters. All around yells of disbelief rang out.
Naruto's own eyes widened with awe as he watched Lee blur away 'He's so fast, I can barely see him moving down there!' he thought
He then looked at the weights in the crater that they made when Lee took them off 'That might be good for training' he thought and continued to watch the fight but this time he Channeled Chakra into his eye's, but unknown to him his eye's changed again
Lee appeared beside Gaara and aimed a punch his face. The sand reacted just in time but Gaara himself didn't seem to notice Lee at all. Lee then circled around and delivered a kick to Gaara's mid-section and once again the sand just barely made it. Lee stepped back and jumped before delivering a double axe kick. The first was met with Gaara's sand but the second one broke through and Gaara's head snapped down from the force of the kick. Lee not wasting the opportunity landed on his feet before launching a punch to Gaara's face that sent him flying. Naruto heard the blond from the sand team yell in shock "HE HIT GAARA!"
Naruto also noticed that her teammate also looked just as shocked
"GO LEE!" Guy's cheering was easily the loudest anyone had cheered during the preliminaries.
Gaara stood back up his face had cracks running all over where Lee had hit. Pieces of his face fell to the ground and it was shown that he was wearing sand armor. Gaara's face contorted into an absolutely bloodthirsty grin as his killing intent skyrocketed. "YES! You are worthy. By Killing you I shall prove my EXISTENCE!" Gaara raised his hands and the sand followed his movement, the sand started moving faster than any previous time it had moved before.
Naruto narrowed his eyes as Lee jumped back to avoid the sand.
'What a troublesome opponent.' Lee continued dodging before blurring forward and once again punching his way through Gaara's automatic defense, Lee then dropped low and kicked Gaara up with all his might and Gaara flew up. Lee followed Gaara and delivered more and more kicks pushing him higher and higher, Naruto saw Lee wince and as he closed his eyes he noticed Gaara had taken the opening to substitute himself with a sand clone.
'that's not good.' Naruto thought grimly. As Lee reached his apex he wrapped his bandages around the clone and started spinning them as they started falling head first.
"Primary Lotus!"
Lee jumped away just before they hit the ground and the sand lone cratered the ground.
"Yes! He got him!" Sakura cheered and most of the genin and Guy celebrated.
"That's incredible!" Yukino said in awe
"No, he didn't" Sakura looked at Naruto in disbelieve as the other rookies looked at him as well
"What do you mean, yes he did!" Sakura said again, Guy took a closer look to the combatants as his face fell.
"Naruto's right Sakura, Gaara substituted himself when Lee closed his eyes because of the pain. I'm surprised you caught that Naruto." Kakashi said
"I just channeled Chakra into my eye's so i can see better. Its not that impressive" Naruto said looking back at his sensei who went wide eyes at what he saw
Yukino and Ino looked at Kakashi and then turned to Naruto and they also went wide eyed
Naruto was confused "What's wrong?"
"It's your eyes" Yukino said
"What about them?"
"Here" Ino grabbed a mirror from her pouch and gave it to Naruto who stared blankly at her
"Really"
"I-i forgot I brought it here okay!" Ino said blushing Naruto grabbed the mirror and looked at himself, and he was surprised
Both of his eye's are changed from his original blue ones, to yellow eyes with black markings within the shape of a web with five orbs in it. They were colored, Red, Blue, Green, Yellow and Brown
'What? What is this' he thought shocked
"Naruto? What is that?" Yukino asked and Naruto shook his head
"Im not sure myself. I just channeled Chakra into my eye's thats it" Naruto said as he still looked at himself
Naruto closed his eyes and stopped channeling his Chakra into his eye's, and opened them and looked at his sensei
"Is it gone?" he asked and Kakashi nodded he didn't know what to make of his student now
Naruto shook his head and turned his attention to the fight again channeling Chakra in his eye's so he can see better
'What happened to you Naruto?' Kakashi thought
Lee looked worn out and he had a face of grim realization as he saw his Gaara break apart into sand. He was suddenly being thrown around by Gaara's sand. He was barely able to block and he withstood the punishment as best as possible. It was 5 minutes of torture as Lee took hit after hit before Lee started dodging again.
Naruto heard Kakashi speak to Guy in a worried tone. "Guy, you didn't." He turned to look at the jonin and saw Guy had a face of determination.
"I did."
"How many gates can he open Guy?" Questioned Kakashi.
"Lee can open 5 gates." Kakashi's eye widened.
'What are they talking about?' Narut thought
"Gate of Life: Open!"
Lee's body exploded in chakra as his skin turned a pinkish hue and his hair started to raise.
"Gate of Pain: Open!"
Lee moved faster than anyone could follow and Gaara was sent flying up onto the air his sand unable to keep up as Lee kept batting Gaara around the room.
'I can just barley see him' Naruto thought
"This is crazy! I can't even see them move!" Ino's shout was met with dumbfounded stares of her fellow rookies who couldn't follow the action.
Lee kicked Gaara high into the air and wrapped his bandages around his waist. As he hits him down Lee screams again.
"Gate of Limit: Open"
Lee jerked his hand up and Gaara was pulled up to Lee who had his hand cocked back.
"This is it!"
"HIDDEN LOTUS!"
Lee hit Gaara so hard it caused a giant shockwave and Gaara's body slammed so hard into the ground it left a giant crater and a dust cloud formed on the floor below. Guy let out a yell as he watched his student hit the ground his body looking normal after the attack. The smoke around Gaara dissipated and a very injured Gaara lifted his hand as the sand followed his movement.
"No way! How is he still up after THAT!" Sakura was not the only one to yell in shock. Naruto's eyes narrowed at the sight of Gaara as Kakashi spoke up.
"Gaara shifted the gourd on his back into sand before he hit the ground" No one said anything after that.
'I barely saw it when it happened. Gaara's strong' Thought Naruto
Gaara watched his opponent stand on shaky legs as his sand wrapped around his right arm and leg.
"Mother wants your blood." Gaara clenched his fist and crunching could be heard as Lee's appendages exploded in a shower of blood, he fell to the ground unconscious. The proctor was about to declare Gaara the winner when he sent another wave of sand at Lee
Naruto eyes turned green and raised his arm and a black portal appeared in front of Lee and the Sword of Darkness came out and started spinning rapidly as it deflected the sand away protecting Lee
Yukino, Sakura, Ino, Shikamaru and Choji along with Neji widen thier eye's and then looked at Naruto
"What is this?" Garra said and looked at Naruto with a glare which he did the same
The sand was quickly batted away by Guy. Hayate seeing the interference by a jonin and...a sword? Quickly called the match for Gaara.
"Why did you save him! He lost, he no longer has any worth!" Guy looked at the deranged looking Sand ninja.
"I saved him because he's my precious student." Guy turned to take Lee to the infirmary only to see him already standing up
"Lee, it's ok I-" Guy stopped and started crying when he noticed Lee was unconscious. He quickly got him to lay down as the medics took him away to treat his wounds.
Naruto made another portal in secret and The Sword of Darkness went through it disappearing before anyone noticed
"Poor Lee" Sakura said
"I hope he'll be okay" Yukino said
"Don't worry Lee is tough, he'll recover in no time!" Guy said with a thumbs up
Naruto looked at Garra who also looked at him and they glared at each other
"Would each match winner please make their way down." The genins made their way and lined up in front of the proctor. Hayate stepped back as the third moved to speak to the genin.
"Congratulations for making it to the finals, as you know there are three parts to the chuunin exams and the finals will be a series of one on one fights tournaments style." This caused Temari to speak up.
"Are you saying only one person gets to be promoted?"
"No you could win every fight and not be promoted at the same time you could lose in the first match and be promoted. There will be a panel of judges that will be evaluating you during the matches. The farther you make it the better chance you have of impressing the judges and getting promoted" The Third took a pause before continuing
"You will now draw lots to determine who fights who." The third motioned to a box and one by one they pulled lots until everyone had one
"Please show me your numbers"
Naruto looked at his number, he had 6. He looked at the others. Neji had 7, Gaara had 5, Shino had 2, Kankuro had 4, Shikamaru had 3, Dosu had 1, and Temari had 8. That meant Sasuke would have number 9 as he had never come back when he had left with Kakashi and Choji had 10.
'Looks like sensei already left' Thought Naruto as he saw Kakashi was no longer in the room.
"The matches will be Naruto Vs Neji, Shikamaru Vs Temari, Kankuro Vs Shino, Choji Vs Yukino and Sasuke Vs Garra"
The participant's looked at the one thier were fighting minus Garra, Naruto Looked at Neji and they stared at each other
You have a month to train so do not waste the opportunity." The Third left and soon the ANBU led them all out of the forest and in two hours everyone made it out and went their own way. Ino ran towards Naruto and Yukino who were already leaving.
"Hey, Naruto, Yukino! Don't you remember, you two promised to tell me what happened." Naruto and Yukino cursed inwardly as they were already tired and just wanted to go home and rest.
"Ino, can we tell you tomorrow, cause its been a long day and we're tired" Yukino said
Ino frowned "But you two said you would tell me!"
"She's right" Naruto said surprising Yukino
"Naruto?"
"We did say that we would tell her later in the tower but we didn't get around to it"
"Yes, thats right!"
"So we both have to tell her the truth now and so its our responsibility to tell her" Naruto said while Ino nodded
"So could you tell her for me" Naruto said to Yukino and started walking away
Yukino jaw dropped as she looked at Naruto in shock, he literally threw her under the bus to tell Ino what happened, but its the least she can do for him, she then signed in defeat and turned to Ino
"Okay Ino let's go" She said and started walking, Ino opened her eye's to see only her and Yukino were there
"Where's Naruto?" she asked
"Im going to tell you what happen"
"Well at least one of you will tell me" Ino said and started to walk with Yukino
(Scene Change)
Naruto got to his apartment and was ready to hit the bed, he was so exhausted from today he just wanted to sleep and be done with today already
Naruto noticed the mess in his apartment and made some clones to do it for him
"Its over?" Keiran said within Naruto as he was about to fall asleep with Catra already lied down on his bed
"Yeah, its been a long day" Naruto trying to stay awake
"Where were you the whole time?" Naruto asked
"I was talking with the Nine Tails" He said
Naruto became serious
"How did it go?"
"It surprisingly went well, he agreed to help train you" Keiran said surprising Naruto
"Really! What did you do?"
"Well..."
(Flashback)
"TAKE IT YOU FOX"
*SMACK*
"AAAAHHHHH"
"YOU GONNA TRAIN MY PARTNER OR NOT"
*SMACK*
"OOOWWWW! OKAY! OKAY! I'LL HELP TRAIN HIM JUST STOP-"
(Flashback end)
"That's not important right now"

"More importantly, you should rest now, cause we're going to start training tomorrow" Keiran said and Naruto sighed
"Alright goodnight then" Naruto said and went to sleep
"Good night Naruto" Keiran said
(Time Skip)
Early morning Naruto woke up with the help from Keiran and went to the Hokage's office with Catra on his shoulder, Keiran told Naruto to tell the Hokage that he wanted a leap of absence from the village and ask for one of those Chakra papers to see what he's best at, apparently the Nine tails and Keiran discussed his training with each other and the Nine tails told Keiran about the Chakra papers
"It's so early" Naruto said and yawned
"Well in order for you to get stronger this is the way" Keiran said
"Your right" Naruto and clapped his cheeks to wake him up
(Not in that way you pervert!)
Naruto walked in the Hokage mansion and went towards Hiruzen's office and knocked on the door
"Enter" a voice said
Naruto opened the door to see Hiruzen battling his worst enemy...Paperwork
"Hey old man" Naruto said as he went inside
"Oh Naruto, Your up early thats new, whats going on?" Hiruzen asked as he turned to him dismissing his battle with paper work for now
"I'll get straight to the point, I want to have a leap of absence from the village for a month so i can focus on my training" Naruto said surprising Hiruzen
"Okay, I get that you want to train for the 3rd part of the exams, but why wouldn't you want to train in one of the training grounds we have here" Hiruzen asked and Naruto shook his head
"I don't want any distractions when im training, besides I know Kakashi sensei is going to train Sasuke because he's going against Garra, so he won't be able to train me" Naruto said, not that he needs them
Hiruzen thought about what Naruto said, it is true that Kakashi needs to train the Uchiha to face the Sand Ninja after what he did to Guy's student
"Well who's going to train you then?" Hiruzen asked
Naruto thought about it 'Keiran should i tell him now?' he asked
"Its up to you if you want Naruto, but i think now is the time to do so before you leave, besides you should tell him what you told me" Keiran replied and Naruto mentally nodded his head 'Okay'
"Naruto?" Hiruzen said and Naruto shook his head
"Sorry i was lost in thought, and i do have someone to train me" Naruto said
"Well who is it" Hiruzen asked 'Here we go' Naruto sighed and he became serious
"I think its time i told you what i displayed during the preliminaries" Naruto said surprising Hiruzen but then becane serious as he made a sign with his hands to tell his Hidden Anbu to leave them alone and he payed close attention
Naruto began to tell the 3rd on what happened in the forest, how his team betrayed him and left him thier all alone, how he awakened to his Dark power and how he met Keiran and Catra who was on his shoulder, and about thier past and the legend that Keiran told him about, he told him everything that happened up until this point along with the memory he saw with the black cat, he kept the part where his eye's turned different when he channeled Chakra into them a secret for now
To say Hiruzen was surprised was a underestimate, alot of emotions were going through his body right now, Anger for what his team had done, sadness for what Naruto must have felt
"Naruto...Im sorry that happened to you, I promise that your team will get the right punishment they deserve" Hiruzen said seriously and Naruto didn't say anything to that, he didn't want to see his team especially Yukino get in trouble but what they did was unforgivable for him, and so its only right that they pay for thier actions
"Also, about that legend you talked about, i actually heard of it before" Hiruzen said surprising Naruto and Keiran
"You knew about!" Naruto said surprised and Hiruzen nodded
"Yes, It's is not one of my favorites because of the ending, but to think it was real all along" He said
"Then you believe what i told you so far" He asked and Hiruzen nodded
"I do, you have a big responsibility in the future now so you have to be ready for it, and this Iris person you mentioned and her partner your going to meet them in the near future yes?" Hiruzen asked and Naruto nodded
"Yeah thats what I've been told im not sure when though"
"Well you best get ready for thier arrival and about Kabuto and Orochimaru, I'll have to keep an eye out for them, Thank you for telling me about this" he said and Naruto nodded
"So can i take a leap of absence for a month?" Naruto asked again, Hiruzen smiled and nodded
"Of course Naruto, also if you want i can sign someone to train you while your out" Hiruzen said
"Who do you have in mind?" Naruto asked
"Well It's actually one of my students i taught when i was still a sensei, his name is Jiraiya and although he is a pervert he is a strong shinobi, he's even one of the Sannin. The same as Orochimaru" Hiruzen informed Naruto who nodded
"Thanks you old man" Naruto said smiling
"Alright I'll send a letter to Jiraiya to inform him you are going to train with him and what going on right now" Hiruzen said and Naruto nodded
"Okay, also do you happened to have one of them Chakra papers?" He asked
"Yes i do, why?"
"I wanted to see what my elemental nature is" Naruto said and Hiruzen nodded giving him a small paper with a seal
"So how does this work?" he asked
"You just channel Chakra into the paper and it will do either five things, if you have Fire then it will turn to ash, if it's Water then it will get wet, if you have Wind then it will be split into two, if you have Lighting then it will get wrinkled, and if you have Earth then it will turn to dust" Hiruzen finished explanation
Naruto nodded and channeled some Chakra into the paper and what he saw shocked him and Hiruzen
The paper split into two slices one of them wrinkled together while the other one got wet
"That's unexpected, It's really rare to see someone with three affinities, and it seems you have an affinity for Wind, Water, and Lighting" Hiruzen said surprised and Naruto nodded
"Do you have any scrolls i can try out?" Naruto asked
"Yes... here you go" Hiruzen said while holding Three scrolls one Green, one Blue and one Yellow
"Thanks, what about for Fire and Earth?"
"You want one for those two as well?"
Naruto nodded "I wanted to see if i can try to use them as well"
"Well okay then, but don't expect them to be easy, sense you don't have a affinity for Fire and Earth it will be harder for you to learn it" Hiruzen said and gave Naruto two more scrolls which were Red and the other Brown
"Thank you for doing this for me" Naruto said gratefully, and Hiruzen smiled at Naruto
"Anytime Naruto"
Naruto was about to walked out the door when he remembered
"Oh if Kakashi sensei asked where i am can you tell him im training outside of the village" Naruto asked
"Sure thing" Hiruzen said and Naruto walked out the door and he sighed turning to the big pile of papers on his desk
"How did you all do it" Hiruzen asked while looking at the photos of the past Hokage on the wall, more specifically the fourth one
Hiruzen was broken out of his thoughts when Naruto peeked through the door again
"Naruto? Did you forget something?" he asked
"Oh no just telling you if you want to finished your work more quicker then why don't you just use Shadow clones?" Naruto said and left
Hiruzen just stared at where Naruto was and looked down 'It. Was. That. Easy.' he then turned to the photos on the wall and then to his desk
(Scene Change)
Naruto smiled as he walked out of the Hokage mansion to began his trip out of the village to train, and he wore a satisfying smile as he heard the sounds he was waiting for when he left
"FUUUUUUUUUUUCK!"
Naruto was pretty sure that everyone within the Village heard the 3rd scream his lungs off, his scream even woke Catra up from her slumber
"What was that!" she asked but Naruto just kept smiling
"Oh nothing"

So what did you think of this chapter cause it was long, Naruto's finally getting some real training for once in the next chapter, also what do you think, Naruto has a secret Dojutsu he didn't know about im going to explain what he has maybe in the next chapter im not sure, at first I wasn't planning for Naruto have a dojutsu, I was going to have Naruto keep his blue eyes but it was going to have animal slits like when he has the Nintails eyes but then I remembered that I wanted a fanfiction where Naruto had his own Dojutsu so let me know what you all think of that
