Chapter 33 Bounty hunters
Its been a week since Grievous managed to escape the Legion from capture and since they learned about Star Killer Base along with the Sith Reviving old enemies from several Universes.
The worries of the worst of the worst being brought back from the dead has been a major concern for everyone hoping never to face their worst foes again.
"We need to properly dispose of the remains of our old foes so they can't be brought back to life." Tarkin said.
"Thats not gonna work. Sabertooth was completely decayed when I killed him. Proving they can bring them back in a various amount of ways. Theres nothing much we can do but put security around our past enemies." Mutant Sean said.
"Our enemies are long since destroyed. And I doubt even Sinister could bring back a former Titan who stood against us in the past." Titan Sean said.
"Don't assume anything. Sinister has proven he can do the impossible." Olympian Sean said knowing the tide has changed.
"If we can get those who are being forced to serve the Empire free though...It could turn the tide back to our favor." Odin said.
"I doubt Ares is on that list." Olympian Sean said.
"But Magni and Modi showed they didn't wanna fight us. And they bring back more...Who knows where they stand." Thor said.
"We'll worry about this later." Sean said showing an alert signal. "Right now we need to investigate this." Sean said.
"What is that?" Baldur asked.
"A recently constructed Medical station. No one inside yet but there was a distress signal activated. We need to find out what happened since these things while easy to make are vital to treating our troops." Sean said.
"Perhaps it would be better to have the medical stations moved to our universes. Less risk of them being in the open for attacks and this way we don't need to have troops guarding them when they could be on the front line." Shepherd said.
"It does have more safety involved for the men if we do that." Avatar Sean said.
"Fine move them to any universe." Sean said as he Anakin, Ahsoka, Korra And Kenobi left.
"You know I'd almost be worried if they tried to bring back Norris but you can't bring someone back without a soul attached to the body." Avatar Sean said to Shepherd who scoffed.
"What does that mean?" Odin asked.
"Oh it's an ability I have that can burn the souls of the guilty like him." Avatar Sean said.
"Oh yeah? What did he do?" Thor asked.
"Uh let's see? Tried to have foreigners killed because he's racist. Tried to start the First World War on multiple occasions. Tried to stop me and Korra from getting married and threatened to kill her and tried to kill Junior the day he was born because of his mother not being from the states." Avatar Sean said.
"Damn. And I thought Trask was pathetic in his ideals." Mutant Sean said.
Later
A Jedi ship came out of hyperspace above the Planet Felucia.
"Right coordinates but I don't see the station." Anakin said.
"I swear." Sean said looking around. "Wait...What the hell is that?" Sean asked seeing something in the distance.
Only for it to release some Vulture droids.
"Oh great here we go again." Korra said as they sat down.
Anakin tried to avoid them but got shot.
"Again?" Sean asked.
"It's not my fault. This Ship isn't meant for this." Anakin said as they went to the planet before he saw a large rock.
"Oh no." Sean said.
"Thinking what I'm thinking?" Anakin asked.
"NO!" Sean and Korra yelled before she got on his seat.
"Wait for it...Now!" Anakin yelled pulling a lever before it launched them out into some rubber balls before the ship crashed with the Vulture droids.
"You always blame the ship!" Ahsoka yelled. (Only reason this keeps happening is because the producers made it happen for fun unlike the previous series)
"Ugh. Better him than Bolin. Do I need to remind everyone what happened in the Jedi temple?" Sean asked as they came to a stop and got out.
"Ow." Korra said holding her head.
"That sucked." Sean said.
"At least we're alive." Anakin said.
"True." Sean said as they walked away.
"Where are we?" Ahsoka asked.
"I don't know. Mapping this planet is difficult due to the jungles always changing and dangerous wildlife." Sean said before a pack of Rancors passed them by.
"Well, at least these ones are more calm." Korra said.
"We can't just sit here. We need to inform the council about whats happened." Kenobi said.
"I see a way off this planet." Korra said seeing a line of smoke.
"Nice eye." Ahsoka said as they walked off.
Soon they arrived at some settlement.
"What the hell are these?" Ahsoka asked.
"If I recall correctly from Irene's notes these are Nysillin. It's most valuable crop in the galaxy. Theres a lot of it too." Sean said.
"The tools are laying about and they look perfect for harvesting." Korra said.
"So where are the people?" Anakin asked as they came to the garage before Sean opened it up seeing a ship.
"This is an odd ship for farmers." Kenobi said.
"Wait a second we recognize this ship." Korra said.
"Oh yeah." Sean said walking out. "Sugi! I know you're out there!" Sean yelled.
Thats when a Female Zabrak walked out.
"It's been a long time. Kruger, Korra." Sugi said before bounty hunters came out before several other people did who were clearly all farmers.
"Yeah. What are you doing here?" Sean asked.
"Getting paid. Defending the village." Sugi said.
"From what?" Korra asked.
"Pirates." Sugi said.
Later
"Simply put, if we don't give the Pirates half of our crops they will destroy our homes with us inside them." Casiss said.
"I see your dilemma." Obi-Wan said understanding their crisis.
"Nysillin is a meager trade. If we don't sell enough of our crops we will not have enough for food or equipment." Casiss said.
"And yet you can afford Bounty hunters." Obi-Wan said.
"These Bounty hunters offer a far more reasonable bargain than the Pirates." Casiss said.
"So what are you doing here?" Sugi asked.
"Our ship was destroyed and we need a ride to the nearest outpost." Sean said making her smirk.
"Did your friend crash it?" Sugi asked making Sean burst out laughing as Anakin's eyes twitched while Korra and Ahsoka giggled.
"What you go blabbing to everyone?" Anakin asked
"Only the important people." Sean said chuckling.
"The one in the barn is ours. And we're not done here." Sugi said.
"Extorting farmers?" Obi-Wan asked.
"It's not really extorting when they paid for their services." Sean said.
"True. And I don't hear you offering to help." Sugi said.
"Unfortunately we can't help even if we wanted to." Obi-Wan said.
"Huh?" Ahsoka asked.
Later
"Master, these farmers are in trouble. Why can't we help?" Ahsoka asked.
"It's not that simple Ahsoka. The longer we stay we risk attracting the attention of the Empire and if they learn about these herbs they just take them." Sean said.
"I'm afraid he's right. We're thinking of the long view here." Korra said.
"Better they get robbed by Pirates than attract the empire or worse Mister Sinister." Kenobi said.
"PIRATES! PIRATES!" One of the local children yelled.
"Should have known." Sean said as a herd of Weequay pirates appeared before Sugi stood in front of them.
"Thats far enough. I speak for the people of this village. State your name and business." Sugi said sternly.
"My name is my own business. And my business is taking whats ours."
"There is nothing heres thats yours unless your here to buy it." Sugi said before someone started laughing.
"Buy it?"
Sean widened his eyes seeing Hondo Ohnaka.
"Ah. Kruger, Skywalker and Kenobi. Did you come all the way here to see me?" Hondo asked.
"Hondo." Sean, Anakin and Obi-Wan said.
"I guess you know each other." Sugi noted.
"Not by choice." Sean said.
"Agreed." Obi-Wan said making Hondo laugh.
"And I thought we were friends." Hondo said.
"Says the fucking moron who had Hiroshi captured at one point before being a fool and let him escape 8 months ago." Sean said.
Hondo by some blind luck had captured Hiroshi when his ship crashed.
Anakin and Obi-Wan were sent to retrieve him but Hondo captured them as well to increase his payload.
During the confusion of it all Hiroshi managed to escape and Hondo was considered to be a heavily wanted man Dead or Alive...Preferably Dead in Sean's eyes.
"Hondo if your interested in friendship might we suggest you stop threatening these farmers?" Obi-Wan asked.
"Threatening?" Hondo mocked. "Oh don't tell me you believe the nonsense these locals have told you these miserable bounty hunters?" Hondo said.
"Nonsense? We're here to protect whats theirs." Sugi said.
"You haven't changed at all. Maybe we should give Nym a call." Korra said making Hondo pale as did many of his men.
Nym was a far more terrifying pirate who had ties with the Legion because of his actions that helped free Naboo from the Trade Federation. And a personal friend to both of them.
"Now thats not necessary. What is your stake in this?" Hondo asked.
"All we want is a ride to the nearest outpost. And we can pay you three times what you can make off these crops." Obi-Wan said.
"Oh? And just how do you intend to pay me?" Hondo asked curious.
"A funds transfer when we get back." Kenobi said.
"Legion credit? Kenobi, We've been over this before, my men and I don't accept that currency." Hondo said.
"We're offering you a fair deal. Don't be blinded by your greed like the the last time." Kenobi said.
"You know I like you Kenobi, But no one leaves this planet until I get my herbs." Hondo said before choking as Sean used the force on him.
"Then perhaps you won't be leaving her alive." Sean said threateningly before dropping him.
"Still as terrifying as I remember." Hondo said before his men left.
"Ok. Now we gotta get involved. Hondo has caused nothing but trouble since we met him. Killing him would spare us a great deal of trouble." Sean said.
"I suppose so. Add to the fact he's been targeting Legion supply convoys also adds reason to remove him." Kenobi said.
Later
Sean was setting traps throughout the Area for when Hondo's men arrived.
"And you really think this is going to work?" Sugi asked.
"Their expecting us to fight. They aren't expecting old traps like these. Besides, this way it keeps them from making quick choices out of fear of walking into another trap and downsizing their number." Sean said.
"True enough. So who is this Nym person you were talking about earlier to Hondo?" Sugi asked.
"He's an old friend who me and Korra met after the invasion of Naboo. Real tough guy about 200 years old. A pirate who has connections to us. Normally the Legion targets those types but he usually only targets other pirates or those who abuse their positions for their own gain. And then he reports his findings to us. It's how we have an edge in the criminal underworld investigations." Sean said.
"Ah, I see. An ace in the hole I believe the saying is." Sugi said.
"Yup. And once this is finished we'll have the advantage." Sean said.
"Why not train the villagers?" Sugi asked.
"Training takes time. And time is not something we..." Sean tried to say before spotting a scout in the distance before using the force to bring him to them. "I really don't like being spied on." Sean said snapping his neck.
"You realize once he doesn't report in their gonna come in fast." Sugi said.
"Thats the idea." Sean said.
Later
Hondo and his men soon arrived but found the place deserted.
"Hmm. They would not just leave so suddenly. Search the area." Hondo said having his men split up.
A group of them were just outside the fence when one stepped on a wire.
"Uh oh."
Thats when a spiked vine smacked into them in the heads killing them instantly.
Another group was trying to go around before they yelled falling into a hole full of spikes which they fell on.
Sean and Korra saw all this making them smile.
"This is too easy." Korra said amused.
"It's Hondo. What do you expect?" Sean asked since the guy was more greedy than smart.
Several of Hondo's men were killed before he started to get suspicious.
"Where are you fools!" Hondo yelled.
"Their dead Hondo." Sean said behind him shocking him.
"But...How? I never heard any blaster fire." Hondo said.
"Old school traps. Pays when you spend countless hours in the field and learn some new tricks from new friends. Now...It's your turn." Sean said stabbing him in the chest as he groaned in pain before dying.
After all that was over the villagers started harvesting the crops.
"Still need that ride?" Sugi asked.
"Oh yeah. And I think I have a suggestion for you in getting a more constant pay since the Hutts are gone." Sean said.
"And that is?" Sugi asked.
"The cloners on Kamino could use your skills in training new cadets. Pass on your skills to them." Sean said making her smile.
"I think me and Embo would like that offer." Sugi said.
Later
"So the outpost was destroyed completely and they ambushed you?" Will asked.
"Yeah." Anakin asked before Avatar Sean smirked.
"Did you crash the ship?" Avatar Sean asked making everyone laugh as his eyes twitched.
"You are not funny." Anakin said annoyed making him widen his eyes.
"Excuse me? I'll have you know I am a famous comedian back home." Avatar Sean said.
"Your kidding me." Anakin said.
"Oh no he's not. He's got his name on the Walk of Fame." Will said shocking them.
"Oh really?" Kenobi asked.
"I can show you guys some time in the future when there are less problems." Avatar Sean said.
"Yeah and you can use the dummies to mock him." Will said.
"Dummies?" Ahsoka asked.
"You'll see." Avatar Sean said.
"Oh good lord." Sean said.
"The good news is that Hondo is dead. All he's done is cause us nothing but trouble." Korra said. (Hondo is more of a burden than ally since how many issues has he caused in the past compared to him helping?)
"We still gotta worry about this new Star Killer base the Sith has." Kenobi said.
"We're planning something for that actually." Sean said.
"We just need a few things. Then we can proceed." Tarkin said.
Authors Note: Sorry if it's not long but honestly I just wanted to do this episode to kill Hondo since he is such a pain. And to give you something for Thanksgiving. Now Next Chapter?
