Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Curse of the Wendigo. Enjoy the 8300-word chapter. I don't own RWBY; Monty and a few others do.

Reo seemed to question upon the moment what the hell was Velvet felt scared as night drew close and anxious in equal measure, interested purely in what needed to be done… What was coming and how well it would end?

She looked at the moon and felt patches of fur trying to cover her, Velvet looked to see Reo behind her, looking around as he did so.

"Do you want to hold my hand? It's going to hurt, trust me… I've been there… Remember?" Reo asked as he frowned and offered his hand.

"Are you going to be, ok?" Velvet asked to which Reo hummed.

"Yes. I've changed enough to where my body is used to it and will continue to be used to it until I die… You only changed once; your body still needs to adapt to it all." Reo said to which Velvet wanted to challenge.

She instead simply took his hand before Coco watched her yelp.

"DAMN IT!" Velvet roared as her bones and muscles began to crack and contort.

Fur zipped around her skin, replacing flesh except around her naval and stomach, her feet began to sprout claws again but shifted, becoming more bipedal and plantigrade but still maintaining Faunus shape, and her hands became far more bestial, claw and bone-like crystal covering her knuckles and back of her hands which glowed the same blue from before.

Velvet felt her clothes rip slightly and the same spikes and crystal growth appear on her as did her ears change… She also felt herself grow slightly more as if her body was growing to try and compensate for her new biology. Velvet felt more crystal growth in her legs, crossing her knees mostly. Velvet felt several portions of her suit tear despite trying to reinforce them and realized she'd need far more durable clothing.

"Damn…. You look like you could rip a Leviathan in half." Coco said as the blue veins and eyes appeared.

"Yeah, but she looks different from last time… More like she's becoming better at fighting now." Velvet heard as Reo hummed.

"Me and Velvet holding hands before made our bodies freak out… Maybe our curse is mutating or combining into something… This looks like some sort of… Combat form, like her body, is transforming further to try and protect itself." Reo said before frowning.

"So like battle armor." Velvet said before groaning in pain. "Ow. My spine hurts… And I'm sick of my suit ripping every time." Velvet said before Reo shook his head.

"I told you it hurts. It's not fun the first few times… You need to be fully ready for when it comes because it ain't going to tickle. Pain like that isn't easy to adjust to, you know." Reo said before rubbing at his temples and yawning, fully thrown off for now and yet it seemed to be slowly ebbing away as now.

It questioned increasingly of interest, focusing more upon it all as of now. it seemed to be worse and worse with each passing second as Reo cracked his seconds, easily amused.

"It doesn't hurt as bad…. Ow." Velvet stated before questioning and looking upwards and looked upwards at the floor.

"Sure… Your wounds are showing, and I don't even know what to do about it." Reo stated before frowning to himself and looking around, tilting his head to the side.

"Quiet…" Velvet growled before sniffing the air and looking up and sniffing the air.

"Wait… I remember… VELVET, RUN!" Reo growled before a horrid laugh slowly started to set in around the area, questioning what to do next.

"AH… There you are…. I found the sent more familiar than before, dear boy… I just didn't expect you to create another of your kind…" The voice stated before it laughed.

Lightning shattered the area around them, burning it all as a massive poisonous fog seemed to roll in.

"Damn it, I forgot he comes when we least expect it, and I don't need this now!" The other within Reo growled before looking at both CFVY and Velvet. "If you don't want to die, run humans. The Wendigo is beyond your pathetic weapons and bullets…" The voice growled before a blast of lightning tossed Reo away.

Velvet was by his side in seconds as the laugh receded for now and looked at both of them. The fog rescinded, replaced with rotting decay and a beast that made Velvet blink in horror.

The being in front of them was a Grimm… But one that could not be all a beast. It towered over even Reo, possibly being 30 or more feet, 6-8 rotted bony arms with crimson energy seemed to roll off them. Its bony-like fur was rotten and revealed bone all over it, antlers with tendrils of ink-like substance wrapped around them, and a ghost like a deer head, cracked and showing dozens and dozens of spikes atop it. Words alone could not describe its terrifying visage and Velvet was terrified but did not move, CFVY offering no protection from it all. All of it had to be handled sooner or later and sooner seemed better.

"Are you going to be, ok?" Velvet whispered as the massive Faunus nodded.

"Ah, you smell like him but newer… The curse has not set in… But it will, it always does, ask your poor boy next to you if it is all right to try and defy me at all." The beast cackled with each word.

"YOU DO NOT COMMAND ME, YOU WRETCHED TRAITOR! YOU DEFIED ALL I STOOD FOR AND RULED BECAUSE OF SOME PETTY ANTIC I DO NOT CARE FOR!" Reo roared as he climbed to his feet.

"AW! YOU DID MISS ME!" The abomination roared before snapping at Reo. "A FALSE KING AND HIS PATHETIC MATE!" The Wendigo growled before being decked by Reo who roared, spittle flying from his jaws.

The foul-smelling beast lumbered back, jaw cracked to one side as if broken, shattered, and cracked in several places. Reo had broken it and yet the beast laughed as Velvet growled as if angered, enraged by a fowl scent or perhaps its chortles towards him and Reo. Reo growled, gesturing for Velvet to stay behind as Reo beat his chest, angered only by the creature trying to kill her.

The monster was not fazed as it grabbed its gaping maw and slowly returned to look over as of now, it slowly questioned, for now, interested only in war before now. It snapped its jaw to the side, only pausing to let it soak in, pausing to let their looks of horror settle before all of a sudden laughing in a manner more horrid, questioning for now.

It was a lot more of an odd lot to try and pick apart and yet? More and more did it remind her only so much could be said and done, yet? Velvet still needed to attack; it was worth it every single little drop of terror.

The Wendigo savored terror only for Reo to charge and slam into it, tossing each down into the depths of the dunes below, it became clear the monster wanted to feed or do something to Reo and Velvet and nobody else, Coco could not at all see it as wrong.

Before words could be even spared for now? Well, Velvet was already moving, tossing herself into the void after Reo only allowing it to end on her terms… It had to end on their terms.

"Velvet!" Coco yelled as she slid towards Velvet only for a giant gust of wind to toss her to the side and fog to roll in.

Fox and the others only served to stop from the edge of the pit and yet? Velvet didn't need to fear it at all it appeared.

(With Reo and Wendigo)

Reo aimed the beast for the rocks and smashed it into every single little one for now. It was a lot more painful as Reo smashed it into every single little rock for now and tossed it to the side, watching a horrid crack of bone and flesh as it dragged itself up to its feet and mocked the mutated Faunus.

"You are still weak, boy… Even if you could stop me? You wouldn't be strong enough to handle what comes next…" The Wendigo taunted, spittle flying from its maw.

"You will not harm her, you worthless PEST!" Reo roared before growling in defiance.

It was clear fear still existed and would continue to… It was seen in Reo's eyes despite growling, straightening upwards and looking upwards, looking to the side, looking around, only finding it to be amusing for now, it needed to end sometime soon.

"You are going to end sometime soon, old king." The wendigo stated before frowning, looking around as he slowly started to consider it for now.

Still? It'd need to end sometime soon and could only be ended sometime soon and yet? The Wendigo roared before smashing an arm into him. Reo blocked it, sand being tossed around as Reo roared before smashing an arm into the Wendigo, sending it slowly reeling backward.

"You knew this was coming, old man… I'm going to finish it." Reo stated before growling and slowly started to pull himself forwards. "You're going down," Reo stated, cracking his fingers before roaring towards them.

"Oh, I don't think so." The Wendigo stated, smirking at Reo who fell silent, utterly amused and interested for now.

The Wendigo roared, locking arms with Reo before questioning before it seemed to be focused more and more. Reo growled before roaring to himself, beating his chest in rage, anger pooling around him, it was so amusing, so angry, and yet? it seemed to be more and more amusing for the massive Wendigo, growling to itself.

"Are you going to be, ok?" Another voice stated before looking upward. "Are you going….?" The voice said before a fist was smashed into the Wendigo.

The beast was tossed to the side, flying backward, only amused by the impact as Velvet landed next to Reo who looked over at the monster, watching it smirk as if defying them, eager to kill the monster, eager to see it die and die painfully before it was able to arm someone else.

the Wendigo did not at all care, for now, could not care for now… It was all too much of an eager challenge for either… It wanted blood, it wanted blood and so much more. Reo almost tried and failed to place Velvet behind him, Reo could only glance around, eyes starting them down for now.

"Ah, the young queen who became champion of us… So eager to die and so willing to do so for now." Wendigo catered before as of now and questioned before anything if it could or would be ended.

"You're going down, old man…." Reo roared, growling before looking at Velvet. "Run, he's a lot stronger than appearances show… And he'll rip you apart for now. You're going to try to end it for now… It's a burden and one you can't ignore… But I'm going to try and end him for now." Reo roared, growling towards the beast, eager for war and interested in murdering the Grimm-like a monster, savagely and without constraint.

The beast slowly started to surge forwards, trying to kill both of them, it forgot apparently how strong Reo was considerate and was stopped for a few seconds by Reo before a finger upon its jaw. He began questioning if it could kill them sometime soon before both looked upwards, curious if it could be fought and killed, all too eager to try and kill, unsure if it could be killed sometime soon.

Yes, Reo was going to murder it sometime soon and looked upwards before now, only finding it more and more interesting as now looked upwards before now, and looked more questions would be able to relax, for now, only focusing as now, it'd become more and more of a problem, for now, it was all more and more interesting.

Wendigo growled before looking at them, raising bony arms and sending dunes of sand towards them as both rolled to the side, growling before rushing forwards, eager a kill, eager to murder.

It was a lot more of a problem than it could be for now; each Faunus slammed into Wendigo and was tossed to the ground before being slammed into the wall. Wendigo was sent rolling towards the bottom of the dunes, smashing into the ground and making Velvet and Reo smirk, only amused for now, only tired for now.

Yet? Life was easier said than done for now. It'd always be this way because it was always going to die out, the Wendigo simply at both more problems for now…. Yes, it needed to be ended and yet the monster only looked around, defying them for now… Looking to the side, smirking as of now.

The Wendigo roared and challenged them to attack which they did, gnashing their teeth. It gestured with rotted bony fingers at them.

"Are you going to be, ok?" Velvet questioned before being forced to look around.

"No, not really, it rings your bell a lot worse if you get too close and it's painful to even try and punch in the face," Reo stated before cracking his fingers and looking to the side.

It was all too much for Reo who was forced to lean on the dune next to the Faunus. All of the battles in existence would not stop anything for now… Reo was aware beating the Wendigo would not stop it for now, not easily… Not anytime soon either, no… Combat could not… Would not be so easy.

"You're not going to fight it alone, Reo." Velvet stated as Reo simply tried to gesture for Velvet to stay by his side.

"Then stay behind me and we're be fine, I don't even know if we're going to be ok, but I do know we need to get out of here… It's far more annoying than it seems." Reo growled out before cracking his fingers.

"You are far too eager to murder me for something you set in motion, old king. You are so eager to blame everyone else for problems beyond control or understanding." Wendigo stated, smirking as it did so.

"If you're going to be a problem with your damn magic? I will continue to hunt you, you damn monster… I'm so damn done with you for now… You've been a problem in my life since I was younger and now, I need to continue to deal with more and more problems like you." Reo stated, cracking his neck to the side, angry and eager to try and hunt it for now.

Yet? All of it would end sometime soon, if he did not, she would die and the last thing Reo wanted was for her to die.

Velvet growled, baring rows of sharp fangs and her claws which made the horrid beast laugh, amused purely by their attempts to stop it rather than anything else. Velvet clicked her teeth together, gritting her teeth back and forth, eager to try and looked upwards into the roof.

All of it seemed to be odder and odder and he smirked to himself and cracked his tongue against the roof of her mouth.

"GET AWAY FROM MY MATE!" Velvet stated before Reo blinked and looked to the side.

"You're going the hell down, fleabag…" Reo stated before sighing to himself and charging forwards.

Velvet watched as the Wendigo and the massive mutated Wolf Faunus locked fingers, the Wendigo growling and laughing in amusement and looking to the side before tossing the smaller monster to the side.

"Oh, it's been fun playing with you, Reo. I haven't seen you this angry since last time… Oh, wait. You had friends back then and didn't act like a giant fuzzball with teeth." Reo heard before he slugged the Wendigo, slamming it into the ground.

"You can't even hurt me. I won't die so easily. I could easily…." He started to say before laughing as something whizzed through the air.

There was a second of silence before Reo looked downwards to see a pair of claws through his stomach. The wendigo laughed as he lifted his hand and the smaller monster with it before flinging it to the side, Reo slammed into a boulder with enough force to shatter it, the sound of cracking bone and muscle filling the air. A hole the size of a rock was cut through his stomach as he turned and looked at Velvet.

"REO!" Velvet yelled before lunging at the Wendigo who easily dodged it and slammed her to the ground.

"Do that… Well, I've terrorized my buddy for now. rooting for you to kill your friends and then rip his head off… TA! SEE YOU LATER!" The Wendigo said before it vanished into a cloud of green gas.

Velvet let out a roar of primal anger before a whimper caught her attention. Reo pathetically pushed himself to his feet and clasped a hand to his chest, a blue liquid coming down the front of his body as if he was a robot. He groaned and grasped his chest before collapsing to one knee, in massive pain, angry and yet whimpering as if he was a small little drone and not a massive wolf that could rip steel in half.

All of it became painful as he heard her run towards him. Reo looked up to see Velvet blink and put her hands over the bleeding wound on his chest, interested for now and looking to the side.

"Are you ok? You need to be ok… I told you to try and relax… He's stabbed me there before." Reo said before groaning. "I told you he's too powerful to try and stop," Reo said before his jaw cracked open and more of the blue liquid leaked from his maw onto the ground.

"You're bleeding." Velvet said before Reo pushed away from it towards a stone, barely keeping himself on his feet.

He looked at Velvet with worry for the moment, forcing himself to stand as he waved off her attempts to help.

"He's gotten me before. No matter how strong I get, his claws go through me like a piece of cardboard. I told you he's too damaged and tough to just take on… Ugh, I feel like someone had him put a sword through me." Reo said before slamming into a rock and slumping down.

"REO…." Velvet went to say as he held up his hand and looked to the ground as he did so before clicking his tongue against the roof of his mouth.

"Relax." Velvet heard from Reo as he slowly pushed himself to his feet. "I'm going to be ok. He's never killed me. It ruins his damn game." Reo stated before he clicked his tongue against shattered jaws.

He was tired, scared, amused, and more and exhausted. Velvet cupped his face before looking to the side, too unsure of what to do next. It'd become a nightmare at the second and all of it seemed to be worse and worse.

"Ow, it seems to be annoying more for now. I don't know what to do and we need to get out of here." Velvet stated and smirked at him as of now.

It did hurt and he was mad but more annoyed at himself than anything. It felt like a million blades cutting through his flesh, only pausing to do more damage. Velvet's glower cut any jokes he might have off as he sighed, feeling more and more tired, interested in what may or may not occur if he was off guard any longer.

Velvet put a hand on his face and watched as the bone-like armor slowly started to clean and patch up part of his chest. Reo sighed and grunted in pain as he looked at her for a second.

Velvet would only seem to scold him as she sighed and looked around. She wrapped an arm around the wounded Faunus as the two started to climb the hill before he turned to look around and found it more and more concerning.

"We need to get back. There's a lot more to talk about when we get back home, you need to know more about the Wendigo before he tries to kill us again." Reo said before yawning to himself and feeling more pain for the time. They needed to be relaxed at the end.

Reo wiped the blood off his muzzle and slowly started to slump downwards a few seconds later, the pain on his face which seemed to tell him more and more just how powerful he'd be in life as in death… Yes. It became a nightmare more and more sadly at the time.

They had a lot more to try and address. There was a lot more Reo knew Velvet was simply getting worried as anyone would see a friend wounded… But Reo was not stupid. He would not be stopped, it stopped more and more problems for the time being.

Reo still could not try and stop such a thing. Velvet looked at him, eager to try and understand what went on inside his head… There was a lot more to understand. Velvet could see the life within his eyes, focused more and more curious at the moment.

He had a lot more to try and understand. They had a lot more to try and understand, more ideals, something else that could be easily handled, even pushed aside at the end of the road.

There was a lot more to try and understand. Reo slowly rose to his feet and yet it became worse and worse, a nightmare that might get to such a part of their own culture… A small thing that may or may not grow over and over.

"Are you ok?" Velvet asked as Reo slowly stood to his feet and slowly started to fall onto his knees and knuckles a few seconds later.

"Are you going to be, ok?" Velvet repeated, resting a hand on Reo's wounded back as he looked to the side and fell silent, utterly amused for now as he regained his strength a few seconds.

He nodded still, not wanting to worry her with his fears at the time.

"Yes, he's stabbed me before and I've been able to relax. He's never going to kill me. If he did? Those blades would have been a lot higher… Still hurts like hell to try and deal with them before they heal over." Reo said as Velvet nodded and slowly started to help him to his feet.

Reo slowly hummed and clicked his tongue against a blood-ridden mouth at the end of the time. Blood was something he was very used to, a very horrid thing at the end of the time. He knew very few problems could top blood at the end of the time being.

Reo seemed to be capable of learning though and she was all too eager to try and collect herself… She was all too eager, unsure of a moment in time when they could relax.

She could only find a sort of hope in the fact that she did not know him and did not know what he could do. If his wounds got worse, she'd act. Maybe he could heal and maybe she was too unsure of what to say and do. She was unsure of what to say or do now.

It was just another part of being alive at the moment. Something she'd come to get to relax upon at the end of the time being.

There was an unease about it all. She didn't know what to try next.

The amount of blood from Reo's body told her one thing at the very least. There was to be no fighting until Reo was unharmed and she was able to relax. It was very concerning to… Try and relax upon now, it'd be a nice little reminder that such things were beyond him and beyond her. She didn't want to relax and yet?

She felt a calm over her over and over at the second as if she could not relax at the end of the time being. Velvet put a hand to his side, trying her hardest to keep the blood within him as of now. She didn't at all know what to do next.

There was a lot more to try and understand at the end of the time being at the moment. She didn't even know what to try to do next at the moment before she crossed her arms.

"Are you going to be able to walk back there?" Velvet stated before she smirked at him with an amusing sort of enjoyment at the end of the time being.

Reo cracked his fingers and slowly started to slam his hands down on the ground, sending sand up into the air as she felt more and more exhausted at the time being and yet utterly unsure of it all. He hummed, worn down entirely, utterly worn down by every single second of the day and yet utterly tired, unsure, entertained by her antics all the same.

He hummed and yet slowly began to look downwards at the second, exhausted and yet utterly at the mercy of his desires, his weariness. He didn't even know what to say or do as he looked up at the sky and felt another desire to try and understand it all.

Reo clicked his tongue and smirked before she looked to the side, it was a lot more of an odd thing at the time when it came down to it and he sighed to himself.

"I can walk, Vel," Reo stated before he looked to the side as if she was curious. "I will carry you back to the school and I don't think anything was wrong or such," Reo said before more of the blue liquid slowly seeped from his mouth.

It was clear he was hurt. Any genius with a brain could tell him that he was hurt and he'd know it but Velvet's warm and comforting hands on his flesh felt more like chains that were binding him to try and protect her. Reo didn't want to lie to her as she was a friend, one who was nice enough to try and help him at the end and it was terrifying at the end of today.

"You need a doctor, Reo." Velvet stated as Reo snorted. "You need a doctor! NOW!" Reo stated before Velvet slowly started to fall silent.

She was utterly enthralled at the end of the day and it became nicer and nicer at the end of the time being when it came down to it all… Reo would need to find out what she knew about it and it was clear to him that more and more such things needed to be relearned.

Now then? Such measures were beyond them and it became clear more and more that at the moment something would come down to it… They had a lot more to focus on at the end. He could only get to relax at the end of their journey when he wasn't at all exhausted and he wasn't tired, amused more.

Velvet was quiet, unsure of what to try and say and do… There was a nice little distraction… Something that could get out of hand if allowed… That could be over with properly… A nice reminder they were still just playing a game, something that couldn't change at the end of the time being.

She was a lot more focused on something they were more and more eager to try and do… They had a lot to speak about and it was scaring him just how little he needed to handle.

"Can a doctor heal that?" Velvet stated before she looked to the side.

"No, I heal faster than normal. The problem is it might leave a scar… The curse makes us very powerful but as you keep feeling? It cuts your brain up like a knife and you start to think of everything as food. Meat for your belly." Reo said before resting a hand next to him as if being more exhausted and unsure of what to say and to do at the moment.

There was a lot more to try and understand. She was tired to the extreme and yet she looked ready to rip something upon. It was the same moment of anger and hatred on his face that was all too real and all too horrid. He saw the mark of a rabid beast that wanted more and more blood and meat dripped into its cage.

Velvet wanted the fight with the Wendigo and she barely even knew him. her hands were soft and warm on his wound but they had their claws out. She wanted a battle with him over and over at the time. All of it ended in a nice moment of glory. A nice little reflection of what to try and do next and all of it would need to end.

"We need to kill the Wendigo." Velvet stated before she looked down at the ground, her fangs bared.

"We can't, not in this state, as powerful are we are now, Vel. He's far strong enough to try and hunt us down. He'll come back and he's far stronger than I am. If he wants us dead? He will cut our hearts out and be done with it." Reo stated before he frowned and he slowly started to sigh.

He knew very well she wanted blood and could get it sooner or later. There was a nice little attempt to try and relax and it would continue to grow in time due to his antics and every single little measure of peace.

Still? He couldn't stop her. Part of him wanted blood, it wanted to gut his enemy at the moon's setting and it was clear more and more to them that he wanted to cut loose. His control slowly was waning and he needed to relax at the moment.

He wanted blood, and so did she and it was clear he was only going to grow with each passing second as if he was utterly tired, worn down by constant battles and transformations of it. There were more and more exhaustions on it at the moment

"You need to train before we fight him again, you know. You need to train and get stronger or else he will kill both of us. I don't even want to know what he will do." Reo stated before he sighed and slowly wiped more and more blood off his muzzle.

The claw wound ached and cut deep into his stomach and it felt more and more like a saw was slowly hammering into his skin. Her hands still provided some sort of comforting warmth as he felt the skin stitch itself back up. It never scared them because as much as a sociopath as he knew Wendigo was? Making him would ruin its game and allow him to find a way to end it.

She still rested her hands on his skin in a comforting way which he could not argue made him feel better. He gently took her hands which were slick with the blue liquid from his body, getting his life-giving ichor on his hands as he grunted in pain before finally forcing the wound closed. It burned like a damn knife and cut through his skin.

"We need to cut it all out and into the air." Velvet stated before she still sighed and she slowly started to think of what to try to do.

"Are you going, ok? We need to go back now before something worse happens and you know it. I need to know more about the Wendigo." Velvet said before Reo stopped at the end of the hill.

She looked at her friend who almost collapsed into the sand, his wound slowly closing, flesh knitting itself properly back together like an odd shirt. She cupped his muzzle, looking at the brutish monster who was nonetheless still a Faunus, still a person under all the rage and anger within his body.

It was something he need only to regret, he stared her in the eye at the moment, unsure what she wanted and if she wanted anything at all. There was pain visible in his visage as he knelt and looked at her, he knew very well what would happen if the Wendigo got to her. She'd not stand a chance, very few could besides Ozpin and he was dead which meant unless there was a worse monster than anything else.

He was a lot more questions to try and focus on certain issues at the moment, there were a lot more to try and focus upon and a lot more moments in his mind. He'd need to be ready at the time and he clicked his tongue, feeling the blood upon his lips.

He had felt it before and he had been barely alive at the end of the time being when it came down to it. The damn monster always seemed to drag him downwards, eager to get so far away, so eager to try and relax at the moment, unsure of what to say, to do.

Yes, it would have gotten worse and worse if he didn't get to relax… The Wendigo did not want him to have the mercy of death and it was something horrid not to kill.

It was angering, far more angering to him at the end of the time being and he was tired, more and more at the moon's setting. There was more and more exhaustion on his mind anyway and it just made him feel more and more tiresome at the moment, unsure more and more at the time being.

"You need to tire yourself a lot more before we get there. It's a lot worse at the end of the road if you can't control what you are… The Wendigo is going to gobble you up like a tasty steak." Reo said before he leaned on the wall and sighed, running around utterly interested.

She rubbed at her temples before falling silent, utterly confused as she looked around, willing to get into trouble to try to focus on certain issues at the time. He was tired more and more and unsure of what to do, not at his top power.

"Then we're training when you don't have a giant hole in your chest." Velvet stated before Reo hummed and clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth. "You've got a lot more to talk about when we're done here and you know it," Reo stated before she looked upwards.

"Fine. But can you promise?" Reo stated before he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth and fell into silence.

"No doing something stupid, we need to get to relax and handle this the proper way. I'll train you with this and slowly start to grow but I don't want you to go crashing into each other like boulders." Velvet heard from Reo as she nodded.

She pressed her right hand into his wound which made him grunt in utter pain as she slowly started to watch bone flood across the wound, wrapping it in the magic from before. Reo grunted in pain and possible horror as he slowly started to feel it heal and heal properly, utterly curious as to what it might be and how well it could have been healed… Such pains in his back at the time being was all too much when it seemed to be worse and worse to him.

He smirked to himself once more at the time, it would continue more and more and more to try and focus on certain movements at the day's conclusion.

He'd laugh if his throat, he'd laugh utterly if it was not bleeding out onto the desert sands, utterly broken by what was going on over and utterly unsure of what to do and what to say at the end and it bothered him.

This was going to be odder and odder to them and yet it was far too odd at the end of the time.

"We need to try and think of what the Wendigo is going to do and then we can try and focus on killing him properly… After that? We're able to relax." Velvet stated before she looked to the side.

"We need to get back to the school before they start freaking out unless you think more and more people are going to be ok with seeing a pair of Faunus in torn clothes and won't put the pieces together," Reo stated before he hummed and smirked at the end of the being.

"There are a lot more problems to try and fixate upon, that won't be one of them and you know it… We get a lot more done if we can relax. All we need to do is try and focus on what's important." Velvet stated before he shook his head and slowly started to think of what to try and understand at the end.

There was just too much on his mind when it comes down to it and she looked around, resting her hands on his face as she did so. It was nice to feel his fur under her palms as the two shared a moment of tranquility and were able to relax, both knowing what was going to happen, and yet. It was just too much for them as she smiled.

She leaned her head against his as he hugged her, reassuring her just what he'd do to help. It became a nice little thing, a very thing that needed to get to relax. This was all too much that could get out of hand and it was clear they had a lot more upon their minds.

"I'm not letting you fight this thing before we're ready. I want you to be ready when it's all said and done." Velvet stated before she looked upwards and into the sky.

"We aren't going to relax until it's done. You need to get used to this, though. More and more are going to happen and we won't be able to control it. I just hope you notice that because it's going to terrify me to the day I do." Reo stated as he cracked his knuckles, thrown off by it all,

He was scared and not at all sure. That he was utterly certain of at the moment, utterly sure and scared of it.

He was so tired, so worn down by battles that this mere attempt to soothe him filled him with vigor and a desire to keep going, eager to try and get to relax, utterly unsure of what to try and say, to do, to even fathom. She knew he wasn't going to stop at all when it came down to their fights and she knew more and more he'd probably do something insanely reckless which meant more and more time on trying to catch the bigger fish.

Still? He was nothing if not at all tired, nothing if not determined to keep going even if everything was falling apart around him, she'd give him that if for nothing beyond his perseverance which was making her wonder just how long he had been a monster like this.

"I'm going to kick you if you do something like that again, you know." Velvet stated before Reo hummed and started to look to the side.

"Oh, this is going to be rather funny at the second…. Ow, my ribs are still healing and it hurts to breathe." Velvet heard Reo say before he looked to the side.

"It's not funny, you know. This is not going to be a regular thing and you know that. I'm not going to let you get killed or something else." Velvet said as Reo hummed, amused more than anything.

He needed to try and understand, find out what she was doing, what to do after their next move. This seemed to be something beyond what he was used to, all of it was a lot worse, a lot more terrifying at this very moment.

"Vel, don't let me be the one who has to keep you in line," Reo stated before gently putting his hands in the sand, utterly amused at her antics and yet pained, unsure of what to do next.

"Are you going to be ok then?" Velvet asked before she slowly hummed, tapping her clawed hands upon her side.

"I don't know if we're going to be ok, I don't know to be very ok at the time," Reo stated before he hummed.

Velvet nodded as the two mutated Faunus slowly began to realize just how tired it'd be and how odd it'd be over and over at the end of the day. This seemed to be a nightmare, an utterly tiring thing, something that he needed to be dealt with over and over.

Velvet didn't at all know what the Wendigo would do and it was all too much to try and focus on next. She was clearly unsure and happy to not be dead but she was adrift in an ocean where she couldn't maneuver, couldn't walk without it.

Velvet stayed utterly unsure of what to try and do at the moment. The details scared her, scared her to the end. He was unsure what was going to happen and how well it'd be able to be dealt with if they were forced to confront time and time again.

The sheer shock and value in the time being before she managed to relax, over and over and over in his brain as if on repeat and it was driving him mad with trying to ponder it over and over again.

Velvet hummed and looked down at the ground, utterly unsure of what to do next and how well it could be, how well all of it could end up if not for their combined power.

"What does the Wendigo want from us? Why does he want to hunt you down so badly? What's he after?" Velvet asked as Reo sighed, his muzzle finally drying off the bile from his throat.

"I don't know nor do I have any idea, Vel. His ideals and machinations are beyond even what I might be able to consider. He enjoys hurting people far too much, far too often and I can't stop him. he enjoys hurting people all the time like it's a game to him, to every single person around him." Reo said before he sighed. "All I can tell you is he's impossible to fight as we are now, you've seen how well hitting him in the face works and just what to expect," Jace stated before he looked down at the ground.

It was far too much, far too often for him at the end of the day. The wendigo had haunted him for so many years and he knew that now it set its horrid sight on Velvet. It meant more and more that they were going to hell and utterly unsure of what would come sooner and sooner.

"I'll tell you when we're back at Shade. The longer we stick around here? The more we're going to need to have to worry about the end." Reo stated before he looked upwards and into the sky.

"Meaning he'll come back. He always comes back, doesn't he?" Velvet asked as she rested her hands on the sides of his face tenderly.

"More than you know, yes. He always does, all the time, he doesn't relax as easily." Reo stated before he hummed and looked downwards, unsure. "I want to point out you're going to probably get more powers… This bone armor for example? It reminds me of the fact I can heal quickly." Reo stated, clicking his tongue.

"We get more and more powers the more the curse grows inside you?" Velvet asked before Reo nodded.

"Yes, but you lose more control of yourself until you become a monster," Reo said as he rested his giant hands in the sand, unsure of what to say, to do…

It was a lot more than he could hope for, more than he wished. Velvet wanted this and he had made up his mind as well. It would be war with the enemy and a war they may or may not win at the moonset before he managed to climb up and to his feet.

He knew more and more that this would grow worse, worse at the second. He was just too tired to try and handle it at this juncture.

All it did was remind them just what awaited them and he knew that whatever came next would be a waking nightmare that had to die, die before something heinous happened, before he collapsed into the pit. He didn't want to turn into the monster he just said and it bothered him a lot more to try and avoid the topic of being it. So much the better that he'd be cut to the end of the day, utterly unsure of what he'd do, who he was, and how well he could manage it all.

Still? He felt a warm hand on his face, a reminder that if he was so powerful that she could grow to be just as strong, just as capable. All of it reminded him just what was coming and what he had to fight for, it was a nice gesture, one that made him feel more and more sure he was doing what he had to do.

He didn't even want to know what the Wendigo would do. It would make him utterly consumed by it all.

"We can fight it, can't we?" Velvet asked as she hummed and tapped his nose, utterly unsure of what to tell her before slowly nodding.

"Best we can. It's all I can do, all I want to do, and yet? It's just more and more exhausting to deal with, all it means is more and more will be pushed to your limits. I just want you to know that… I believe I could try, but I don't know how much longer I can be in this form for example." Reo said before he looked upwards.

"So, it's not going to be easy but it isn't impossible." Velvet stated before she slowly started to gaze down at the ground, unsure.

"Everything a huntress asks for, Vel. It will be a hard mountain to climb, though. I just hope you know that not a single step will be easy, not a single one is going to give way that easily. We're going to be climbing." Velvet heard as she nodded.

"I don't plan on stopping anytime soon… But if you do that again? I'm clawing your legs." Velvet stated before he slowly started to think more and more at the end of the day.

"Ok, we need to stop standing around really. I don't even want to try and understand what's going to happen, all it does is just remind me that the Wendigo is coming back." Reo stated before he looked down at the ground.

"Fair enough." Velvet said before she and he slowly started to run up the hill with him following upwards and after her.

This seemed to be something else as the two started to look up and into the ground, all too amused.

This seemed to get worse and worse as both of them slowly started to fall apart before he smirked, utterly worn down by it all.

He snapped his jaws shut and was finally able to think properly and he knew it over and over and over again to the end of time, it was not something that he wanted to try and think of at the end of the day, the thought was something that he didn't want to try and think of.

He was scared of what might come and what might go when it comes down to it. This seemed better and better to a monster, but to someone who had to deal with the caged beasts?

No, a curse, a hindrance, a snapping of fangs, and utter horror at the end of the day, and yet he was so tiresome at the end of the moment. He clicked his fingers before he seemed to be more and more unsure of what to do next.

Velvet set her hands on the size of his muzzle as he slowly started to calm down, looking down at the sands as the two looked upwards at the stars above.

"Do you know the Wendigo when it came to this sort of thing?" Velvet asked as she gazed at the giant Faunus before he clicked his nails.

"When it comes to us? I've known that freak of a Grimm since I was a kid… He's the one that turned us into this." Reo said with a frown.
