AN: Two 100 word drabbles written for adaon6 in response to a meme on my Live Jouranl. He got two because after I did the first one I got hit with the second and couldn't choose between the two. The first one can be taken as either Naruto or Sasuke. His request was for Naruto: masks. I originally mistook that to mean the series not the character Naruto and therefore wrote about Sasuke (he's a favorite) only to find out later that I was correct in thinking it was the series no the actual character. The second...I think is a bit more clear cut.

You walk along the dusty streets, ignoring the looks thrown your way, single minded in reaching your destination with as little trouble as possible.
But they won't allow that. The severe mutterings behind your back let you know what they think. You don't care.
You've lived your life surrounded by lies. But you've not lied to one person, honest to a fault but no one pays that any mind.
It doesn't matter.
You've never once lied to anyone even if they had lied to you.
Let them all mutter. You refuse to wear the mask they're so fond of wearing.
