Laphicet is seen waiting at the bus stop though it's not for him to get on, it's more about him waiting at the bus stop for someone to come over though he does look a bit nervous.
"I hope she gets here soon, after telling my parents about her coming." Laphicet talked to himself.
Laphicet try to calm himself down about this special visit from his girlfriend who decided to stay over at his home and to meet his parents too, but that is also why Laphicet is feeling very nervous about this.
"Oh man, was it really a good idea?" Laphicet asked.
Laphicet can still remember the talk he and Velvet had when the Newspaper Club's summer trip to the human world ended, and everyone was about to go their separate ways for the rest of the summer which was yesterday.
(Yesterday)
"What?" Laphicet gasped.
"You want to come over to my home for the summer!" Laphicet repeated of what Velvet just said to him as the others are packing up.
"That's right, it would be nice to be somewhere else for the summer than going home right away." Velvet nodded with her bag over her shoulder.
"But what about your family? Aren't they going to be worried about you not being home?" Laphicet asked as he didn't want to keep her away from her family.
"It's actually just my guardian, my family passed died when I was only eight." Velvet revealed with a hint of sadness in her eyes.
"Your family died when you were that young, I apologize for your losses." Eleanor apologized bowing.
"It's fine, I learned to move on while still holding onto the memories of my family and someone else who was like an older brother to me in the family." Velvet held her left arm while thinking of the memories.
"You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to." Laphicet said holding her left hand.
"Thanks, and it was also my guardian's idea to try going to new places for the summer." Velvet mentioned.
"Wow, your guardian must be a kind person to let you go off on your own when you're still in high school." Tsukune commented.
"You could say that, but the woman can also be so damn strict and too serious for her own good. It's like she doesn't know when to let her guard down even for a moment of peace." Velvet explained about her guardian.
"Oh, does that mean she was the one who taught you how to fight?" Magilou asked curiously.
"That's right, and not only that but she is also stronger than me too." Velvet revealed shocking everyone.
"For real? Could that also mean she's stronger than you, Moka?" Yukari asked the pink hair vampire girl.
"That's a good question, if Velvet's guardian really is stronger than her, then my inner self might not win." Moka wondered surprise.
"(As if I would lose to an old hag.)" Inner Moka proclaimed that she can beat any monster with her kicks.
"Will that be okay?" Medissa asked Shizuka.
"It's summer vacation, the students can do whatever they want on their fun times, and I don't think it's a problem for a student to visit her boyfriend's home. Just as long as you don't reveal your monster nature to any humans." Shizuka stated it's fine.
"Looks like I'm coming to your house." Velvet smiled.
"Y-Yeah, it looks like you are." Laphicet stuttered blushing.
"Better prepare yourselves when you introduce your parents to your girlfriend. It's important so that you two can have a future together." Magilou advised.
"Like we need any advice from you." Velvet glared at the witch and pulls Laphicet onto her body.
"You forget, I used to have a boyfriend and I know a lot more dating things than any of you girls combined of what you can find out from stupid dating magazine." Magilou bragged smirking.
"All you did was torture me!" Gin shouted in fear of the memories with tears coming down.
"Maybe you deserve it for being the enemy to all women!" Kurumu yelled in rage as Mizore and Yukari nods in agreement while glaring at Gin as he gasps.
"I hope we see each other again since we're going to be exploring the human world a bit more." Kamoana said.
"Maybe we will." Laphicet chuckled and petted Kamoana on the head making her smile.
"Okay then, guess we have our summer plan." Velvet smiled with her left hand on Laphicet's head making him smile too.
(Present)
"(And now here we are, in the neighbor I live in with my parents who I'm going to introduce to my parents.)" Laphicet thought gulped.
"I really hope things will go well." Laphicet prayed.
"It won't if you keep thinking like that." Velvet said walking up to him holding to bottles of drinks in her hands.
"Hope I didn't keep you waiting. The line was a little long." Velvet said as she handed one bottle to Laphicet who accepts it.
"It's fine, I was just doing a little thinking about how my parents are going to react their high school 10-year-old boy suddenly having a girlfriend who is five years older than me." Laphicet said, now starting to look worry.
"I may not know a lot about dating, but I do know that worrying about this isn't going to help." Velvet pointed out.
"Let just go to your house and say hi to your parents, everything is going to work out and they'll be thrilled to meet me." Velvet believed kneeling for an eye-to-eye with her boyfriend.
"How do you know they'll like you or even approved of our relationship?" Laphicet asked.
"Because I met and you seeing the kind of person you are, that's all I need to know of how things will turn out." Velvet answered with a smile and kissed him on the lips.
"Okay, maybe you're right." Laphicet smiled.
"Women always know best than men." Velvet stated and they laugh together.
"Okay, time we head home." Laphicet nodded.
Laphicet held onto Velvet's hand as the two started walking together through the streets and passing by some houses until they arrived at one house that belongs to Laphicet and his family, it's like a normal house though it's big and two floors with a tall gate in front.
"That's certainly looks more fancy than the average houses." Velvet commented.
"My dad wanted to make sure no one comes onto our front yard without permission unless it's a friend or mom." Laphicet sad as he searches into his bag until he brought out a silver dragon key.
"That's one fierce looking key." Velvet commented as she saw the key.
"My dad has always been a fan of dragons since he was around my age, always believing they are the nobliest creatures at heart. And I became a dragon lover too." Laphicet explained as he unlocks the gate.
"Guess that's why you have such beautiful flames." Velvet complimented as they walk in.
They reach the front door ringing the doorbell twice as they waited for someone to answer the door though Laphicet's cowlick is waving in nervous of the boy's feelings right now, Velvet just looks down at her pants brushing one leg and just looks calm ready for this.
But in truth, Velvet is also feeling a bit nervous to meet her boyfriend's parents for the first-time hoping things will go well like her left arm not acting up because that tends to happen sometimes, but she got that under control. Mostly.
"Hello? Is my precious Laphicet home now?" A woman asked cheerfully as she opens the door seeing Laphicet.
"Hey mom, I'm home." Laphicet greeted with a smile and wave.
"Laphicet is home!" Laphicet's mom cheered as she lifts him up and twirls him around.
Laphicet's mom is a young woman with long black hair that is tied to a thin ponytail with two bangs on each side of her head, greenish gold eyes, and light skin color. She wears a blue dress like clothing with a white apron over it, thigh-length black socks, and brown shoes. She also has a silver dragon pin on the right stripe of the apron.
"Oh, it's so good to have my boy home again!" Laphicet's mom smiled.
"It's nice to see you too, mom." Laphicet said while feeling a bit dizzy.
"I was hoping you come hope once summer vacation starts, but you told me about your club trip, and it made me sad." Laphicet's mom exclaimed as she hugs Laphicet tightly.
"Well, I'm here now and I brought someone from my school to spend summer with us." Laphicet pointed at Velvet with both his finger and cowlick.
"Someone?" Laphicet's mom looked towards Velvet who looks very shocked of see the woman.
To Velvet, it looked like she was seeing someone who knew very well with the same face though the hair color and eyes are different from the woman who knew.
"Velvet?" Laphicet noticed that she is being quiet, but his voice managed to snap her out of it.
"Hello there, my name is Velvet Crowe and I'm very close to Laphicet. It's nice to meet you' ma'am." Velvet greeted polite.
"Wow, you sure look cute, but you look got that fierce feeling as in you're no pushover to bulls." Laphicet's mom said, getting interested in Velvet already.
"But no need for the whole "ma'am" stuff, it's too formal and makes you feel old for some reason. You can call me Celica, Celica Collbrande and proud mother of this little cutie here." Celica introduced herself while snuggling Laphicet's cheek on hers.
"Mom, stop! You're embarrassing me!" Laphicet exclaimed with his cheeks turning red.
"What? You always love to do hugging like this with your mommy." Celica proclaimed.
This scene makes Velvet laugh a little of seeing the classic case of children being embarrassed by his mom, and this happens a lot to everyone even when some of them are adults.
"Mom, please I don't want to be embarrassed in front of my girlfriend!" Laphicet yelled as he tries to push himself off from his mom.
But Laphicet immediately realizes what he just said feeling frozen in fear, and Celica is also shocked to hear that one word she didn't expect her son to say at least until he's older.
"I knew it! Somehow by chance, I knew this girl is more special to you than you were trying to lead on!" Celica gasped.
"No! I wasn't supposed to say that yet!" Laphicet exclaimed as he fell on the ground.
"Well, I guess we're doing this sooner or later." Velvet shrugged, but suddenly Celica grabbed onto the wrist of her left arm.
"Inside! We need to talk!" Celica pulled the two into the house and slamming the door shut.
Celica sat Laphicet and Velvet down on the couch causing both of them to feel a bit nervous with how the mother is giving them a serious look on her face.
"To be honest, I was kind of hoping to tell both my parents." Laphicet said.
"Well then, you can him that yourself because he's home taking a nap." Celica informed.
"Just finished with my nap, actually." Laphicet's dad said walking down the stairs.
"Dad!" Laphicet smiled upon seeing his dad now.
"Welcome home, Laphiet. I heard your mother screaming something about a girlfriend." Laphicet's dad mentioned.
"That would be me, sir." Velvet raised her hand.
"My, aren't you fierce looking young lady." Laphicet's dad surprised with a comment.
"I know, I pretty much said the same thing!" Celica nodded.
"My name is Artorius Collbrande, Laphicet's father, but you can also call me Arthur to make it simple to call me." Arthur greeted with the introduction of his name.
Arthur appears to be a bit older than he looks with light, blue-green eyes and long silver hair, which he keeps tied in the back into a short ponytail. He wears a white shirt coat with black outlines, black pants with matching boots, and a blue coat he wears on his shoulder and cover mostly his right arm. He also has a brown cast for his unusable right arm and a silver dragon pin on the left side of his shirt collar.
"So, when we got your letters, Laphicet, we were glad to know you have made some good friends though never thought of getting yourself a girlfriend." Arthur sat down next to his wife.
"Yeah, it just sorts of happened to us too." Lapichet scratched his cheek a little.
"You could say I've been feeling more for Laphicet than I never felt in years, and the guys who tried to get close to me would end up at a hospital." Velvet stated.
"Oh, only leaving yourself to the man you love! I like her already!" Celica smiled.
"Mom!" Laphicet exclaimed.
"But tell us, how did you two got together? Start off with how you met!" Celica demanded.
"Now, now, Celica. You shouldn't push things too forward before they get the chance to explain." Arthur said.
"Well, let me tell you that your son made a breezing impression when we first met." Velvet grinned and Laphicet blushes shock that she is bringing up that memory out.
"Breezing?" Celica confused.
"There was a breeze at the moment, the first time I gaze upon her, it felt like my heart stopped for a second and I was speechless to meet a girl like her." Laphicet expressed how he felt when he met her that day, making Velvet blush as well.
"It was on the first day of school." Velvet mentioned.
"Oh! Our son's first day love at first sight on his first day of school! How romantic, reminds me of how it was when I met your father." Celica smiled giggling.
"Except you spanked my butt when you were about to fall on the ground." Arthur pointed out.
"Yeah, but you didn't exactly complain." Celica winked at her husband.
"Because I was in a hurry to get to my classes on time, but I did feel embarrassed later on that day." Arthur chuckled.
"Well, there was this big sneeze Laphicet did that flew skirt up and he saw my panties." Velvet mentioned on purpose causing Laphicet to cry in shock.
"Velvet! Why?!" Laphicet sobbed with his face turning red too.
"Oh my god! Did you hear that, Arthur? Our little Phi did the exact same thing when you saw me the second time, and he's blushing like you did!" Celica laughed and Arthur becomes embarrass from the memory as well.
"You went through that too, dad?" Laphicet asked.
"Yes, and I hoped you never have to go through that too." Arthur nodded and they sigh.
"In any case, there is something Laphicet wants to show you." Velvet said sounding a bit more serious in her tone.
Laphicet realize that Velvet is right, he needs to tell them about his magic power and hopes they can provide the answer he seeks.
He pulls out three of his paper talismans having two of them become fireballs flying around the four while having the third one sparks of lightning shooting up at the ceiling leaving a small burn mark.
"Arthur! He can do magic!" Celica shocked.
"Yes, it would seem his power has already manifested faster than anticipated." Arthur stroked his chin.
"So, you do know something about my powers." Laphicet said.
"That's right, you could say it runs in the family. Well, to be exact it's from my family." Arthur said as he held up his left hand and a ball of light appears.
"I'm also surprise that you brought home a Therion as well, it looks like your existence is more special than we realize." Arthur said surprising Velvet.
"You knew I was a Therion, a monster?" Velvet asked.
"Of course, I studied every known monster back when I used to be a student at Yokai Academy including some races that are rare like the Therions." Arthur revealed himself to have been to Yokai Academy as a student years ago.
"So, you knew about the school and sent me there!" Laphicet realized.
"That's right, the headmaster came to me believing having you there would help the school learn to grow closer with humans since you're a half human yourself." Arthur explained.
"That means you're a human." Velvet realized as she looks at Celica.
"Yep, normal as a woman can ever be. I actually found out about Arthur's magic on the third day after we got into high school." Celica revealed shocking the couple and Arthur blushes of embarrassment.
"Seriously?! On the third day?!" Laphicet and Velvet yelled at Arthur who chuckled nervously.
