Part 2

Monday 2026

I'd made it back to the house, Graduation was only a couple of hours away.

I smiled happily to myself, knowing that we only have a few hours left before the carmoney.

I was in my bedroom about to get into the shower. Then someone messaged me on my Discord.

I checked it and replied to them back.

I then jumped into the shower, music played on my phone.

I picked out a nice white dress shirt, jeans, my blue jordan's and a silver Rolex that my dad bought me for my nineteenth birthday.

It was now six and me and Roy were both getting ready.

Mom was in my room with me.

"I can't believe that you guys are graduating from college. you're going to follow your dreams of playing for the NBA and your brother is going to be working for Insomniac Games! This is all happening so fast!" Mom said, about to tear up.

"Mom, it's going to be okay."

She wrapped her arms around me and didn't let go.

I smiled warmly and took her embrace.

She then kissed me on my forehead.

The drive to UCLA felt like a long one, this was the last time that we will pull up to the school since the end of Spring Break.

This was the last time me and Roy got to see the campus. So many good memories were made here at UCLA.

I stopped my car and we walked into the building where graduation was held.

I dug into my pocket and pulled out the ring box.

I can't believe it…. I was soon going to propose to my longtime girlfriend…

We were all seated, my name was going to be called next.

They were going by last name.

"Ratchet Davis." the head of the school called me.

I walked toward the stage and the head gave me my diploma.

Sasha stood next to me and smiled.

I looked and saw my family sitting there, I took a deep breath.

I then took the microphone as soon as everyone's names were called.

I put it to my lips and started.

"Thank you all for coming for the class of 2028 graduation. This is an amazing time and you all should be proud of yourselves and what you've all accomplished." I said then took a breath.

"This is a special day for all of us."

I looked into the eyes of my girlfriend and continued.

"As we stand here. I'd never known that we'd come this far in our lives. And we will look beyond this point."

I finished and everyone clapped. I then went on one knee.

"Sasha, when I met you, I knew that it was love at first sight. I want this special moment of our lives to revolve around us, but I know that won't happen."

I took a deep breath and just went for it.

"Sasha Andrews?"

I then pulled out the ring box and opened it.

"Would you make me the happiest Lombax on the planet Earth and in the Solana Galaxy combined, and marry me?"

Sasha was stunned. She didn't know what to say. It took her a few minutes for her to speak to me.

"Yes, yes Ratchet A thousand times yes, i will marry you!"

I smiled brightly and put the ring on her finger.

She grabbed my face, smiling and looking into my large eyes and she kissed me passionately.

Everyone there was talking a video of this moment with me and Sasha. Never in my life have I felt so happy like I did tonight.

Notes:Hey guys! I'm back with a new chapter. So I did this on the plane at three in the morning two days ago flying back home. I really hoped you enjoyed this chapter, I loved doing this one has to be the cutest chapter i've done!
