Chapter 29
Kadaj hesitated but then walked into the kitchen with Mia in his arms. He recognised the young woman there, Tifa, though he hadn't personally fought her back then. She had been protecting children back then, she wouldn't attack when he had a baby in his arms. And Cloud had hopefully warned all of those from Gaia of his presence and change of heart. He stepped into the kitchen and she turned, her grip tightening on the knife but then her eyes flicked down to Mia who babbled at her.
"She's adorable," she said, surprising him.
"Yeah, she is," he agreed. "Loves her big brother too." Kadaj shifted her to rest on his hip. "Is there any news?"
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Huh, he didn't sound at all like she remembered and he looked older too. It was so strange but the baby was totally happy and at ease in his arms. "Nothing I've heard, though I'm not sure," she cut off as the door slammed open, revealing a panting Yuffie. "What happened?"
"Lab…Ansem's Apprentices!" she sucked in air.
Tifa's eyes widened, even as Kadaj tensed, likely due to Yuffie's panicked appearance. He would have been useful in a fight, if she could trust him, but how long had it been since he wielded a blade? Cloud said he'd been 'retired' after all. Did he even have a sword anymore?
The Apprentices…Ansem the Wise…she remembered the experiments, the whispers…the screams. It had been bad enough to lose one World but losing a second had been even worse, even if they had only been there a short time and it had been very confusing.
"Where's Merlin?" Yuffie asked.
"Not here. Leon?"
"Back at the lab, they're unconscious so he's tying them up."
"How many?" Tifa pulled her gloves on.
"Three that I saw."
"Apprentices?" Kadaj asked carefully, and Yuffie tensed a bit.
"Ansem the Wise's students. They…" she shook her head, "no one really knows what happened except the castle was at the centre of it. Not sure things got to Hojo levels but…even in town you could hear the screams at night."
"Ah," he grimaced, tightening his hold on his daughter.
"You'll be safe here; I've got to go. If Merlin or any of the others show up,"
"I'll tell them where you are," he promised.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Sora blinked slowly, waking again, and then looked down at himself, grinning. He knew where he was! Or…did he? Radiant Garden would be Hollow Bastion at the moment but had the World been in the Sleeping Worlds when Maleficent had been based there? Then again, there hadn't been much there, so was it possible for only part of a World to exist in the different Realms? Ugh, he wished Yen Sid had explained more. It looked a lot like Tron's World within the Hollow Bastion system but…different too. And he remembered being told the system had been copied from another World, Ansem changing it for his own use. So was this the original version or the one he knew?
What worried him and Roxas was the return of an X shape over his chest, not like he could buy a new shirt in a digital World! He looked up at an unfamiliar noise to see an enormous flying machine, its core giving off a bright light, pulsing with energy as it soared above the city.
"Whoa! What is that?" That was nothing like the Solar Sailor Tron had used! He took off after it, having to fight Dream Eaters along the way. The ones in this World were strange, but it was a computer which was really confusing. How could a computer dream?
He found the ship as it hovered over the ground, lowering its passenger bay. A group of guards stood at the ready and Sora began feeling a bit nervous, once again they were nothing like what he'd seen before, which meant this was probably the original World of Tron's program…so even without time travel, Tron wouldn't know him. So having to run from those guards when they decided he was 'stray program' wasn't very shocking.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
"Hey, Axel. You haven't forgotten?"
He looked over at his best friend as they ate their ice cream where they always did. "Hm? What?" he felt so relaxed, just a lazy day…but that wasn't right, was it?
"You made us a promise."
"I did?" he asked.
"That you'd always be there...to bring us back."
Those words had him straightening, staring at the blond. "Yeah..."
The teen turned to him and pointed to his head. "Got it memorized?"
As Axel laughed the blond faded away. "Best friends forever," he promised softly.
Then he jerked, struggling to move, staring in confusion as a man leant over him, watching him warily. "Where...What happened to me? Roxas?" he called in alarm but the teen didn't answer and he remembered, Roxas was gone…no, Sora. Sora'd been there, had whispered Roxas' words to him as he died…wait. He'd died!
"Take it easy," the stranger told him calmly.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Leon watched as the redhead snapped awake, immediately struggling to get free.
"Where...What happened to me? Roxas?"
He recognised him, that hair was distinctive after all, his friends' hair had been just as memorable too. They'd been only a little younger than him when their World fell, but they'd just begun working at the Castle. He'd wondered what had happened to them but from the black coat the redhead was wearing he now knew the answer. He hadn't realised the Axel who Sora mentioned had once been a happy kid named Lea.
"Take it easy," Leon told him as he continued to struggle.
Wary green eyes watched him and Leon bit back a sigh of annoyance. He was glad Tifa had come with Yuffie but he'd much rather Merlin or even Cloud at the moment.
"What's the last thing you remember?" he asked calmly.
Axel glared at him. "Dying," he snapped. Yeah, it was the guy who'd apparently been best friends with Sora's Nobody, Roxas. That should mean he was somewhat trustworthy and sort of on their side at least, but the others? "Where am I?"
"Radiant Garden. We came to the lab and found the three of you."
"Three?" he craned his head around. "Aeleus, Ienzo…" Axel murmured, and Leon was sure he saw a flash of guilt in his eyes.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
"My clothes... Is this world special?" Riku stared at his strange glowing outfit. He'd never been to a World that changed him when he was his true self, though he'd seen the effects on others, and when he'd been stuck in Ansem's form that magic hadn't worked on him.
He looked up at a flash of light. "A Dream Eater?" he watched warily but no, it was…some kind of ship? It seemed to detect him and landed. Riku tensed as what appeared to be guards appeared but he remained where he was, curious. There was something about the World that was tugging at his memory but he wasn't sure why. "No... Let's see how this plays out," he whispered as they approached, realising a second later that two more were behind him. They grabbed him by the shoulders, and he fought down the instinct to attack.
"Another stray," one stated.
Another…Sora? Hoping so, he shrugged out of their hold and walked to their ship, letting them take him aboard. Sadly, he found himself standing with a stranger and not his boyfriend.
"Are you a prisoner?" the other asked, and Riku shrugged.
"Yeah. It looks that way."
"Name's Sam."
"I'm Riku. Where are we, Sam?"
"We're on the Grid."
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
He stared at his reflection, unable to believe it. He was really back…he was a Somebody again. How was that possible? At least they'd untied him, thanks to Sora telling them how he'd been on their side and had died to save them. Plus the whole being human again thing which was so strange. He found himself wanting to tell Roxas and Isa except…they weren't there. Leon said Organisation XIII was gone, so why had only the three of them appeared?
Leon…looked almost familiar, like he should know him, but he didn't recognise his name at all. Maybe a kid he'd known in passing back then? It wasn't like he'd had a ton of friends or anything, though he'd always been friendly to the other kids, before becoming an Apprentice anyway.
At least they were sure the others were human again too, but how would Ienzo react to his presence? He felt bad now about killing him, well, getting the Replica to kill him. Not that Zexion's hands had been clean or anything. But with him back…could they make a Replica for Roxas? Could he be re-separated from Sora without hurting either of them?
"Is Sora around?" he asked.
"He's taking some king of Keyblade test with Riku," Yuffie answered, that girl had waaaay too much energy.
"Huh," a test? The kid had saved the Worlds twice, he'd ace it, they both would. Then they could meet up. Wait…Sora and Riku, but what about, "Kairi?"
"Training with the King," Leon answered.
Before anything else could be said, Aeleus began moving groggily. Should they be out so much longer than he'd been? And Ienzo still wasn't stirring. He cautiously moved closer, feeling sick when he saw the partially healed marks on his throat.
"Anyone got a potion?" he asked shakily.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Merlin glared at Yen Sid across the desk, highly unimpressed by the younger wizard. Maybe it was an issue with aging Keyblade masters? Then again, yen id had given his up decades ago. Instead he'd locked himself away in his mysterious tower with only the stars to whisper of events to him. Foolish, if you asked him. The stars did not always see the right things. He had cut himself off from the Worlds and so become blind to so much.
To give the boys an out where they had to be together had been arrogant, foolish…who knew what danger they were now facing. He had been brushing up on Dream magic since the boys had left, something he hadn't done in a long time but he could feel it, danger was approaching and it was focused on them. He hadn't agreed with this exam from the start, too much could go wrong, and it seemed he was right. Yen Sid should have known better than to tamper with time, it was not his gift. Just like Dream magic was not Merlin's and yet he had studied it decades ago and would use it to save the boys from this mess. He just hoped they didn't end up stuck in their younger forms forever because of that. Better a teen for life than dead though, or worse since Yen Sid had sent them bodily into the Sleeping Worlds, if the Nightmares got to them…
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Sora paused as he faced an armoured figure on the bridge. Not a Dream Eater and…not like those guards that had chased him. The figure…man?...reached behind his back and drew two discs that reminded him of Tron's weapon, except darker. Sora called his Keyblade, ready to fight, but there was something… and then the other backed down, surprising him by flipping over him and rushing over.
"What was that about?" this place was way more confusing than having to deal with Sark and the MCP.
"Hey, that weapon. Can I see it?"
Sora turned to see two guys and a girl walking over to him and he looked at the Keyblade, hesitating, but then he held it out to show her. She bent down and took a good look.
"This is just incredible. What a program…the weapon and the wielder," she told him.
"Program?" Sora asked, looking at the three of them. Were they programs? The looked way more human than Tron had. "I, uh… This is a Keyblade and I'm Sora," he settled on.
"I'm Sam," the younger of the other men offered.
"So this is a computer world?" he asked, figuring it was safer not to mention Tron when he wouldn't know him.
"Yes," the older man said. "That program you just fought was once Tron, a self-governing security measure designed to protect the system and counter the functions of the MCP. Tron used to be a good friend; together, we created this place, the Grid. It was something, man... but then CLU staged a coup, took out the MCP too. I was exiled, and... Tron wound up getting derezzed. Or so I thought. CLU made him into a new program called Rinzler. That's the thing about programs, mess with the code just a little, and their whole nature and memory can change."
Huh…so this had to be the original World since Tron back in Radiant Garden had been altered by Ansem the Wise, plus the MCP was definitely still around until they'd helped Tron take it out. Unless being a Sleeping World changed things for their dream? But it seemed way too detailed for a dream.
"But that's...horrible! Still, if Tron was your friend and a good guy, we should change him back," he offered.
"Bingo," the old man nodded at him. "And now you're up to speed. If we're lucky, CLU kept a backup of Tron's source code. He's a program, after all. He'd be methodical like that," he chuckled.
"So, if we get Tron's "source code" back from CLU, we can put him back to normal, right?" Sora double checked.
"That's the idea."
"Great! Thanks, mister," he turned to go after Tron.
"Where are you going?"
Sora grinned back at him, "I'm going after CLU."
"Do you even know where he is?" the man demanded.
"Nope, no idea," he shrugged.
"What a strange User. You're nothing like Flynn or Sam. Come on, Sora. I'll show you the way," the girl told him. He thought she was actually a program, unlike the other two.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Luna fed Mia while Kadaj kept watch. They'd been told the house would keep them safe but it made him feel better to keep an eye out through the window…which wasn't visible from the outside. She wished they'd had more children but Sora's birth had been too difficult and then Noct…dear Noctis. She still missed him so much.
She was worried about Sora and Riku, how could she not be? Sure, it was only a test but with everything they'd been through the last few years, she didn't trust the test to not be deadly.
The look on Merlin's face when he appeared didn't make her feel any better either.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
They found CLU waiting for them on the bridge, blocking their way to the Portal.
Flynn stepped forward. "This is mine." He walked toward CLU. "Had a feeling you'd be here!"
"You! You promised that we would change the world...together! You broke your promise!" CLU yelled at him.
Riku grimaced as a large Dream Eater appeared, flying passed CLU to where the Portal would form.
"I took the System to its maximum potential. And now, you see the applications at my disposal!"
The Nightmare spun the disc on its back and clawed at the air with mechanical pincers. This…was not going to be fun.
"I don't believe it," Flynn stared at it as Riku walked up.
"You can leave this one to me." He summoned his Keyblade and leapt passed CLU.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Kairi sat on the stairs to the tower, wondering what Mickey and Yen Sid were discussing. The King hadn't looked very happy though and she was pretty sure she'd felt Merlin's magic earlier. Had something happened? She hated always being stuck on the sidelines but that would change, that was why she was being trained. Soon, she'd be able to go with the boys and help them. They better be okay though or she'd be giving people a piece of her mind! She loved them both dearly, just not the way people back on the Islands had hoped would happen between her and one of them; they were her best friends, brothers really.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
"You sure we'll find Tron's source code here?" Sora asked as they searched.
"It's not here. Maybe CLU has it with him. Sora let's look elsewhere," Quorra suggested, and he nodded.
"All right."
Quorra stopped as the door opened, revealing Rinzler. She whipped out her identity disk, but Sora grabbed her arm.
"Wait, Quorra! Let me talk to Rinzler. A little heart-to-heart might jog his memory."
"He's a program, Sora. Programs don't have hearts," she denied.
"Maybe, maybe not, but it's worth a try," he argued.
"Hey, you used to be called "Tron," right? CLU did something to you to mess with your memory. You're a little confused, but that's okay. C'mon, remember, Tron!" he pleaded, reaching for the Tron he remembered, even if this one had been a different version of him.
Rinzler readied his weapons and struck, spinning in the air, and sending the disks flying at Sora. Sora grimaced and summoned his Keyblade to block but Quorra jumped in front of him. she was hit, slamming into Sora, sending them both to the floor to roll apart as quickly as possible. Quorra jumped back up and sent her disk flying at Rinzler, who smoothly dodged it. Sora got up as Quorra's disk returned to her.
"I don't think Rinzler wants to listen," she told him before rushing Rinzler again.
"He just needs time, that's all," Sora murmured. Time and his old code. There had to be some way to bring Tron back. He looked up as Rinzler kicked Quorra in the face and she fell to the ground.
"Quorra!" He ran forward as Rinzler moved to destroy her. "Tron don't!" he yelled and for a second it seemed like Rinzler hesitated. Sora didn't make it to them before the door shut, leaving Quorra with him. Sora swore, feeling angry, he'd failed. "Why?" why couldn't he reach him?
"That's what we do. Put the most precious memories in the back of our minds where they're safe."
Sora spun to see the same guy as before. Who was he?
"Or in your case, the most precious...Hearts?"
"Not you again!" he snapped, feeling Roxas stir, shifting closer to the surface in concern.
"The memory and Heart are tightly linked."
"Xemnas!" Sora growled as the leader of Organisation XIII stepped out of a Corridor.
"Rub a few memories together, and you get a spark of emotion, a feeling. But in a digital world, memory does not work like that. Nothing is ever felt. You can hold a thousand, a million times the information, but there is still no heart with which to parse it. Once, my master, Ansem, found an old system and made a copy of its Master Control Program...and used it to serve his own ends. This is the original data of that system. Here, data can be copied."
Sora blinked as suddenly he was surrounded by…himself. But he'd been right, this was Radiant Garden's version of Tron's World.
"Memory can be changed and easily manipulated," Xemnas continued even as more copies of Sora appeared. "Tron is a digital entity, so why would he be any different? He obeys the rules of this world. Sora, what about you?"
"Me?" he asked warily.
"Your Heart, memories, your data, and your dreams. The bits and bytes that have made up your life so far…can you say for sure they are not just copies of someone else's?"
Sora felt Roxas' anger surge and figured that hit too close to home for his Nobody. "Yes! My memories and feelings belong to me," Sora snapped at Xemnas. He knew they all believed he'd lost his memories in Castle Oblivion and Riku had agreed that it was better for everyone if they kept thinking that.
"You had better check," Xemnas replied, turning away. "Make certain the box's contents match what's on the label...since you have been chosen." And with that he vanished into another Corridor.
"Chosen for what?" Sora demanded of the stranger.
"You think this is the realm of dreams, but there, you are mistaken. Data does not dream, cannot dream."
The doors opened and Sora felt the wind from the digital sea whip around him. He fought to stand his ground even as he listened, wary over the stranger agreeing with his own earlier questions on how a computer could dream. He'd kind of just moved on since the Tron he knew had a Heart and so had emotions and stuff, which meant dreaming should be possibly.
"This world is real. You haven't the slightest idea where you are…that you have already wandered off the path."
Well, that didn't sound good at all. "What do you mean?"
He just laughed as he entered another portal and then Sora felt the wind rip him away, pain, and then darkness.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
"I created the perfect system!" CLU yelled as the Nightmare faded away.
"The thing about perfection is that it's unknowable. It's impossible, but it's also...right in front of us, all the time. You wouldn't know that because I didn't when I created you. I'm sorry, CLU. I'm sorry," Flynn responded, even as Riku downed a potion.
That had not been an easy fight and he was tired, though not the kind that made him randomly fall asleep thankfully.
CLU stared at him for a second before kicking him away. Sam yelled in anger and tried to tackle CLU, who simply tossed him over his shoulder. He rolled on the ground in pain as Quorra checks on Flynn. Riku ran over with his Keyblade out, ready to defend them.
Flynn looked up at them as Riku reached Sam. "Go."
Quorra nodded and managed to get in front of Riku and Sam as CLU walked toward them, ready to defend them.
"CLU! Remember what you came for," Flynn yelled, and Riku frowned slightly, was he doing what Riku thought he was?
CLU walked back over to Flynn and the bridge opened, splitting him and Flynn from the others. CLU kicked Flynn in the face, flipping him over. He took Flynn's disk from his back and activated it, pulling up a hologram of Quorra. "No…" He looks over at Quorra, Sam, and Riku who were at the Portal. "No... Why?" he turned back to Flynn.
"He's my son," the man answered, eyes locked on where they stood.
Riku felt sick, he was going to sacrifice himself to buy them time to get out.
CLU deactivated the hologram and threw the disk onto the ground beside Flynn, running back up the bridge to the Portal.
"Go!" Flynn yelled.
CLU jumped over the gap in the bridge and nearly missed as he grabbed onto the other side)
"Dad!" Sam made to go after him, but Riku grabbed his arm, even as Flynn stood.
"Sam! It's time!"
"No!" Sam shook his head.
"Sam, it's what he wants," Quorra told him.
"I'm not leaving you!" Sam denied.
"Take her!" Flynn smiled at them as she handed Flynn's disk to Sam. "Yes!"
Sam looked back at his Dad and Riku let go, sensing he wouldn't try to cross the gap. Sam held the disc upward, activating the Portal, Light engulfing them as Riku leapt away so as not to get caught in it. He'd stick to travel methods he knew and he still had a Keyhole to seal.
"Good-bye, kiddo," Flynn's words barely reached Riku across the distance.
The identity disk floated upward in the pillar of light and Sam gave his father one last glance. CLU stood up and Riku ran toward him.
"Don't even think about it," he warned, Keyblade at the ready.
Flynn gasped and knelt down quickly, his long coat flowing behind him. He touched the ground and a burst of energy rippled out from him. It reached CLU, tugging him backwards towards Flynn to Riku's surprise. He reached out to the Portal and tried to walk but Riku made sure he was in the way, even as CLU was unable to overcome the force pulling him. Flynn stood up with his arms out. The wind gathered strength and CLU was knocked backwards into Flynn's body, sending out a massive pulse of bright energy, which engulfed everything.
The light dissipated and Riku, now alone, walked over to where the Portal once was. "The Portal is gone. These gates that connect worlds…maybe when we pass through them, we're challenged, and changed. And it's not over. There are more trials ahead we have to overcome. But something's wrong, we both know it. I'm going back to Traverse Town, it's the best hope for contact of any kind. Please Sora, find me there," he whispered even as the Keyhole appeared and he aimed his Keyblade at it, sealing it.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Lea was worried, there was no sign of the others anywhere. He wasn't expecting some, like Larxene or Demyx, since they hadn't become Nobodies and Heartless in Radiant Garden. But Isa, Braig…Xehanort? It was interesting when the old Wizard showed up but the Restoration group knew him. He agreed the others weren't there…yet, that gave Lea hope.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
"What in the world?" Sora blinked and then got up, looking around. He was in some kind of massive room, alone?
"Combatant 13 versus Rinzler," a mechanical voice announced.
Sora saw CLU and Rinzler enter through a platform in the floor.
"Greetings, Sora. I've been waiting," CLU told him.
"So you're the monster who turned Tron into Rinzler!"
"Correct, I had to repurpose his code," CLU answered calmly.
"Well, un-repurpose it!" he snapped back, summoning his Keyblade.
"Yes. Under the right parameters, I might." CLU smirked, and Sora eyed him warily.
"Oh?"
"That little item is called a Keyblade," CLU pointed at his Keyblade. "It can open any lock, isn't that right? Hand it over, and I'll change Rinzler back into Tron."
Sora fell into a defensive stance and Rinzler stepped forward. "The Keyblade? I can't. This is what lights the Darkness. A chance to make everyone happy!"
"Ha! Flawed reasoning. I'll have to take it by force."
Sora rolled his eyes, "Sorry, doesn't work that way." Thankfully.
CLU descended on the platform as Rinzler rushed forward and readied his disks. He spun in the air, sending both disks flying at Sora, who blocked them with his Keyblade. They flew back to Rinzler and he readied another shot.
"Tron, why can't I get through to you?"
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
"Master Yen Sid!" Mickey called in alarm as a black bird flew in through the moon-shaped window, stopping their previous argument over retrieving Sora and Riku. Though, Mickey had the feeling Merlin would act before they could.
"Look, it's a raven!" Goofy pointed.
"Uh-oh!" Mickey frowned, that bird looked scarily familiar.
The bird flew over to Yen Sid's desk, carrying a scroll in its claws and something shiny in its mouth.
"That raven is Maleficent's," Yen Sid confirmed.
"What's it got?" Donald asked.
It dropped the items on the desk and flew back out the window.
Mickey stared at the crown. "That's Minnie's," he felt sick as he picked the scroll up. How could Maleficent have gotten her crown when the Cornerstone protected their World?
"Well?" Donald asked after a little, and Mickey gasped in horror.
"Gawrsh, what's it say?"
"Maleficent's kidnapped Minnie," he managed to answer.
"She took Queen Minnie?!" Goofy and Donald yelped together.
"The letter says for me to return to Disney Castle...or else."
"Mickey, there is no time to waste," his old Master told him, and he nodded.
"Okay...you fellas stay here. Keep an eye on Kairi."
They saluted. "King Mickey, we're going with you!"
"Gosh...I guess you're right, pals. We friends need to stick together. Master Yen Sid, can you see to Kairi's training? We'll be back!"
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Yen Sid nodded and they rushed from his office. He watched as the gummi ship flew away from the world. "The timing is too perfect, too calculated. Maleficent must sense a change in the forces of Darkness. A change...like Xehanort."
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Rinzler suddenly stopped, staring at Sora.
He jumped into the air and a holographic sensor appeared over Rinzler's chest. He used the Keyblade to push it, sending Rinzler into a low power state. Rinzler hovered for a bit and then sunk to the ground.
Sora walked towards Rinzle as CLU ascended to the stage again. CLU sent his identity disk at Sora, but Rinzler suddenly jumped up and took the hit, knocking CLU's disk away with his own. He fell to his knees as the disk hit the wall, the ceiling, and then crashed down on the piece of the floor beneath him, shattering it.
"Tron!" Sora yelled, lunging forward, sliding across the floor to reach into the hole. To his surprise Rinzler reached back and for a second, Sora felt their hands connect, felt a spark of recognition between them, and then Tron was plummeting out of sight.
"I'll deal with you later. I have to retrieve Rinzler," CLU snarled, but Sora ignored him.
"He reached for my hand," Sora whispered as Quorra joined him. "For a second, I had him." Sora took a shaky breath. "Tron is still in there."
"You and that key have a special power," she answered softly.
"So do you, power to make me see it," Sora told her even as he got up.
"So, does that mean we're friends?" Quorra asked, and he smiled at her.
"Of course."
They chuckled but then made their way out of the arena. He made her leave him behind to go after Sam and Flynn, they'd need her to escape the Grid.
"What if my memories aren't my own? No, I've got too many friends who'd say something if that was true. Maybe I'm walking the wrong path, but my Heart will lead me to the truth," Sora whispered. He called his Keyblade, sealing the Keyhole.
He knew what he had to do now, he had to go back to Traverse Town, not the next World, the best place for clues would be the first place he'd woken. Joshua knew more than he'd said, he could feel it. And he could move between versions of the Town, there had to be some way for them to do it as well.
TBC…
As I haven't seen Tron, i had to stick with the game events. Bigger changes coming next chap
