Now onto the story

Annabeth POV:

I can't believe it, I feel like a horrible person

Why do I always have to have the worst luck

First I'm first to move away from my friends, school and home, then I keep on hoping that I won't run into him again, and when I do meet him it turns out he's the really hot guy that's been helping me out all day and the most popular guy in school, and of course he remembers me while I've been completely oblivious this whole time.

And to add onto that the only other friend I made and was trying to hang out with to avoid him, turns out to be one of his best friends.

Now you may be wondering why I'm trying so hard to avoid him when he's such a great guy, well it's simple... I'm embarrassed

Okay back to the present

My eyes widened in surprise and heat rushed to my face

"WHAT, why would you think that" Percy squeaked

I raised my eyebrow at Connor in a way that said, 'Yeah why would you think that'

Connor's eyes sparkled with joy

"So your not"

Percy waved his hands in front of him as if Connor had just said the most ridiculous thing he had ever heard

"No way"

'Ouch' I thought to my self, I know I hadn't seen him in years but it still hurt

I chided myself, I can't be thinking things like that, I left him remember that, if anything he should be mad at me not the other way around

"Then how do you-"

"Hey Perce who's this"

I spun around to try and identify the person who had spoken

there was a group of boys standing behind me

The one in the front was kind of cute, he had the look of a leader but his face told a different story, he had a wry smile on his face and a tiny scar on his lip, his eyes were an electrifying shade of blue and he had neat hair.

A backpack was hung over his right shoulder and his left hand stuffed in his jacket pocket. he wore a purple Lakers varsity jacket and a black shirt with two buttons undone, he had faded black jeans and purple and black supras.

By his side was short boy with curly hair and an elfish looking face he had a crazy glint in his eyes that made you want to keep anything flammable as far away from him as possible he also had a crazy smile that looked as if it was permanently plastered on his face.

He had blue jeans, a long sleeve red shirt with the sleeves rolled up and black Nike SB Shanes.

On the blonde boy's other side stood a burly Chinese looking kid, he looked as if he was born to be a line backer, he had army cropped hair and a small smirk. He wore a simple navy blue V-neck black jeans and black air force ones.

Behind them were three more boys

One was a carbon copy of Connor, he wore a forest green long sleeve shirt and blue jeans with grey Vans, the boy beside him looked exactly like how you would picture an emo, shaggy black hair, olive colored skin, black jeans, grey V-neck, black aviator jacket and black Van off the walls

Beside him was a boy who looked frankly normal compared too the rest of the boys, he had dark skin, curly hair, his face was sprinkled with freckles, he had a knowing smirk and kind eyes, he wore blue jeans (seriously what is it with guys and jeans I thought they hated them) an orange T-shirt and green Chuck Taylors.

"This is uh..."

"Annabeth!"

Percy POV:

"Annabeth!" Grover cried

She looked momentarily stunned, then realization struck her

"Gr-Grover?" she stuttered

"Yeah you remember me" he pushed pass Jason and Leo and wrapped her in a hug

"You know I thought I recognized you this morning when I saw you in the hall but man" he looked her up and down "You look good" he said offering her a small smile

"You look... completely different"

He chuckled "Yeah, I was tired of being picked on in middle school so I started working out with Percy, I'm not the same helpless scrawny kid I used to be"

Yeah no kidding, I remember what Grover was like when we were younger, he was as skinny as a twig, he had a squeaky voice and a bad case of acne. Now he was around 6 ft with some nice muscles and practically no acne (sadly it was impossible to have absolutely none)

"Hey, don't mean to interrupt your happy reunion but care to inform us on your new slash old hot friend" Travis said winking at her

I clenched my fists and glared at Travis, I didn't know why but I hated him looking at her like that, it simply put, made me mad.

"Hey hey, back off I called dibs"

She raised her eyebrow at this, "Did you now" if looks could kill Connor would be bleeding out on the floor with an arm ripped off and two black eyes

"Uh I mean" he tried to look for something to say "you know what I'm just gonna shut up"

"Wait that's possible, were gonna need to keep her around more often" Leo said with fake astonishment

"But seriously, who is she"

Annabeth raised an eyebrow at me like 'Yeah who am I'

"Well Annabeth is m-"

"Percy!" a high voice called

I mentally groaned, why God, why must you punish me like this

I turned around in my chair

"Hey Rach"

She giggled and twirled a piece of her hair

"I haven't seen you since July"

Yeah I know what your thinking, you actually hooked up with Rachel over the summer, well first of all in my defense it was just after a party and I was black out drunk, and second of all Rachel wasn't always this annoying

We used to be good friends and we even dated for a year, but back then Rachel was completely different, she always wore jeans that had doodles all over them and shirts smeared with paint, and she had beautiful (and crazy) curly red hair. Now she wore fancy brands and chemically straightened her hair, and worst of all... she giggled

I don't know why but I find it severely annoying when girls do that fake giggle, it gives me goosebumps and makes my hair stand on end.

"Yeah long time no see" she gave me a flirtatious smile which almost immediately

"Who is she" she snarled

My face fell

"Hey what's your problem Rach"

"I want to know what she's doing here" she said scowling at Annabeth who was trying to hide behind Connor

I shot to my feet, but Jason stepped in front of me, blocking my path to Rachel

"Rachel please leave"

"What! you don't get to tell me what t-"

"Rachel" It was Graver this time

"Leave" she turned away with a huff and stomped back over to her table

"Thanks guys"

"Hey no prob, that's what friends are for"

She blushed

"Can you feel the lo-"

" OH SHUT UP LEO" Annabeth and I shouted in unison

I smiled at her, when she returned it I could swear that my heart skipped a beat

Hey, I know that was short but I hope you enjoyed it, also sneak peak of anyone of my stories of your choosing if you are the first person that can guess where the song that Leo sings is from

Also please comment who your rooting for in the World Cup, I'm rooting for Brazil since I am half Brazilian. My classmates find it really annoying since I live in Spain and they're all rooting for Spain, the teachers are even letting us watch the games during class, some of my classmates even brought in the Spanish flag so tomorrow my brother and I are going to bring our Brazil Jerseys just to mess with them.
