The next day, Heather walked up to Ozzie.
"Uh, dad...Can I talk to you?"
"Sure, sweetheart."
Heather felt her stomach in her chest.
"...Uh...RJ'll tell ya!"
She ran off...She hadn't made it.
Ozzie walked up to RJ.
"RJ, Heather wanted to tell me something, and then asked me to ask you what it was."
RJ felt nervous.
"Uh...Heather's in love with you..."
Ozzie was silent.
"What?"
"She is in love with you...Her dad."
"Oh..."
"Yeah..."
"I need to go talk to her."
Ozzie found Heather down by the pond, and walked up to her.
"Sweetheart?"
Heather turned around in surprise.
"Dad..."
"I know. RJ told me."
"I'm sorry."
"There's nothing to be sorry about. I care about you, too."
Heather stared at him in surprise.
"Really?"
"Really."
Heather hugged Ozzie, and then they kissed.
