Coffee and Coco

Summary: Set Season 8 Episode 3 Lotto. A kind gesture from his friendly rival was the last thing he ever expected.
"Hey idiot, what did Erin want again?" Dwight questioned as he stood before the lobbys cafe corner.
Jim thought for a second before responding. "A...hot chocolate tea."
After Dwight had gathered the receptionists order, (amongst everyone else's) he turned to Jim. "How come your name wasn't on this list? You do want something don't you?`
Jim shrugged, he really didn't know. "Not sure. But I guess I could use a drink now." Was his frenemy trying to tell him he'd buy him a drink? It was almost unbecoming. Dwight didn't normally take concern for his pencil pushing colleague but since he was getting something for everyone else, Jim knew he might as well take advantage of the opportunity. "If you're buying then I'll take a hot chocolate. Just a regular coco with no tea."
"Alright. Add a regular hot chocolate to the order."
The cashier gladly obliged and soon enough, Dwight was presented with all the drinks.
Just as Jim stood up and was ready to stroll over to pay for his, the elder salesman halted him and pulled out his wallet. "I got yours. Consider this a favor." After the transaction was complete, Dwight handed the coco off, "Here." Dwight then picked up one of the trays.
"Thanks man. I'll help you carry those." He grabbed the second tray, balancing it with one hand and pushed the button for the elevator with the other. Soon the elevator dinged and they stepped inside. 'This is me repaying him but I did get a free hot chocolate out of the deal.' Jim then took a sip which left him in surprise. "There whipped cream on here?"
"Yes, yes there is."
Jim was stunned, he didn't think Dwight was this generous. "You really can surprise me sometimes."
A warm smile soon decorated his face as he winked at Jim, "I know."
