Disclaimer: I do not own Hetalia

So I realize that it's been 4ish years since I updated this story, but I've recently decided to get back into fanfiction.

Chapter 9

"So I have good news and bad news," Norway announced as he placed a book down on a table. Almost an hour had passed since they explained the issue to the Nordic nation, and he had passed the time skimming through the stack of books for the spell used.

"What did you find out?" France asked.

"Can you fix this?" Germany asked.

"Me? No. What England used was a true curse, so you will have to break the curse yourselves," Norway answered.

"I'm hoping that's the bad news," Spain commented.

"Well, for the good news I can kind of tell you what to do to break it," Norway admitted.

"What do we have to do?" England asked.

"According to your book, the adult's need to help the charges learn something they failed to learn the last time they were younger. It's most likely some personality thing or something like that," Norway answered.

"You're saying that I need to learn something from this idiot?" Romano asked for clarification.

"That would be the case," Norway answered.

"Are you absolutely sure about this? You can't be any clearer?" England asked.

"It's your spell. You should know how vague old curses can be," Norway stated.

"It's not all bad. It can't be that hard to figure out what you need to learn, right?" France asked the group in a desperate attempt to raise the mood.

"Hey, France is right. And we still have each other to help," Spain added.

England and Romano looked at the adults for a moment, only to proclaim in unison, "We're doomed!"

"We're doomed?" Germany asked, startled.

"Roma, you're not doomed. I just gotta teach you something," Spain rebutted.

"Like an idiot like you could teach me anything! In case you forgot, you never could get me to learn anything when I was younger. What makes you think this will be any different?" Romano complained.

"Okay, that's just being mean," Spain stated.

"I'm never going to get uncursed if I have to rely on France for help! He'll probably just spend the entire time purposefully trying to keep me this way so he can pretend he's in charge," England complained.

"It wouldn't kill you to have a little faith in me," France argued.

"Dammit, I don't wanna be a kid forever! How am I supposed to go on dates now?" Romano complained.

"You think you'll have it bad, I can barely open my front door as I am now! Plus, I'm going to be a complete laughing stock when my past colonies see me like this. I wish I never cast that stupid spell," England continued on the verge of tears.

"Hey, come on you two. Have some faith in us, we can figure this out," Prussia tried to persuade the children. Instead, England and Romano again cried out, "We're doomed!!"

"But-but I don't want to be doomed. How am I supposed to do my job? Or hang out with my friends?" Germany asked as he started to panic.

"It's okay Germany. I'm sure your boss and friends will understand," France tried to calm him down.

"This isn't fair; I didn't do anything wrong so why am I being doomed?" Germany asked as he too started to tear up. Between the stress of the last few days followed by watching the other two children cry, Germany's emotions were too much for his little body to control.

Prussia noticed this as he turned to his brother and ordered, "Wes, listen to me. Put your hands out to the side of your head."

Confused, Germany did so then looked at Prussia for more direction. In response, Prussia asked, "Now, do you trust me?"

Not sure where this was going, Germany gave a cautious nod. Prussia smiled and as he lowered Germany's hands continued, "Good, then I won't make you hit yourself. You can trust me. Remember that, because that means that you can trust that getting you back to normal is now my top priority. And you know that when I have a goal like this I won't stop til I get it done. Understand?"

Germany blushed slightly as he nodded again to his brother. Prussia smiled more at the child and ruffled his hair as he pulled him into a hug.

"Roma, why can't you and I be more like that? Maybe how to have a healthy relationship is what you need to learn," Spain commented with a pout.

"I highly doubt that," Romano countered.

"Everything okay in here? I was hearing a lot of crying about being doomed," Denmark asked as he walked into the room with a mug of coffee for Norway.

"About as good as can be expected. I'll tell you more about it when they leave. Are the others still here?" Norway answered the Dane.

"Nah, they left a little while ago. Your friends showing up kind of put a damper on bonding day," Denmark answered.

"Speaking of leaving, we should probably leave before we impose more on you. It'll already be late when we get back," France decided as he picked up the still sniffling England.

"Are we going back to England's house?" Spain asked.

"If it's all the same to you guys, I think I'll just take Wes and go to our house. I mean, it is closer," Prussia decided.

"We should check on the dogs too," Germany added.

"Makes sense. Call us if you figure anything out. Bye, Germany," France agreed then said goodbye to the child. Not sure how to respond, Germany gave a cautious wave goodbye.

"If you're going to England's house then I think Roma and I will join you. My house is the farthest away," Spain also decided.

"That sounds good," France agreed.

"Stop inviting people to my house without asking me," England pouted.

"And who said I wanna go to your stupid house anyways?" Romano complained.

"What, you wanna go to your house?" Spain asked.

"Maybe…so what if I do?" Romano defended.

"Aww, are you missing your brother?" Spain asked as he smiled.

"It's not like that! What, can't a guy just wanna go to his house and check on it?" Romano asked flustered.

"Don't worry, Romano. We can go see your house tomorrow. But we're going to spend the night at England's," Spain tried to compromise. Romano did not look happy with the compromise, but agreed anyway. With this decided, the groups left for their respective places.

Again, sorry for the long wait…

I'll most likely be posting the next chapters weekly.

As always, please review~
