Run
The Documentor
Summary: You've been the only thing that's right in all I've done.
A/N: I've decided that when I come up with a good vignette that I'll compile them all unless I think it's worth of being on it's own. This was inspired by Run - Snow Patrol. I would say that most of these would be song inspired because that's usually the way I muse. They won't be in sequential order. Thanks, Doc.

It was the last time.
The last time that he'd lay his eyes on her.
She knew she'd never see him again. Something inside her rejoiced but the rest of her crumbled.
She was leaving everything behind. The clothes on her back and in her suitcase were all she was taking as she straightened her scarf with her tightly gloved hands.
He'd insisted that he come with her. To see her off safely and mentally wish her well. He'd lied when he said that he'd be happy to see her go. She lied when she told him she was happy.
This might have been the reason he held on.
"What is it?" She looked back at him with her soft ocean eyes and that was when he lost all concentration with his well-rehearsed speech.
"I…" He went to say but when she gave him a look of exasperation, he felt his grip on her arm grow stronger. He let out a small cough to alleviate the silence but he still heard the beating in his ears grow stronger.
He'd been told a thousand times to tell her.
Now he knew why.
And she was running.
