"The Dead Don't Die, the heart still beats. Head held high, I haunt these streets. Life's killed me a hundred thousand times. You can try, you can try, but the dead don't die." -Brent Smith

Meredith was walking down the halls like a woman with a purpose, that purpose, of course, was to strengthen the relationship between Militech and their European allies. Her bosses came up with the idea of her engaging Adrian Tepes, which if the sex was anything to go by, had been working very well. She assumed that another month of this and she would have a ring on her finger that would solidify the alliance and their relationship.

Which wasn't that bad, reaching the door to the office, she opened it and started to sway towards the chair whose back was turned.

"Alright stud, mama's had a long day and she's looking for a good ride from her favorite Transylvanian War Horse!" She announced with a smile, not noticing that Adrian was in the chair in front of the desk and who she just said that to caused her lover to sweat and blush a little as he prayed the person in the chair didn't say anything to embarrass him any more.

The chair turned around to reveal Dracula sitting in it with his leg over his other and his fingers intertwined as he looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "As flattering as that is, I am happily married, Miss Stout."

Meredith had to do a spit take as her eyes widened and Adrian tried to salvage what he could. "Uh... Father, this is Meredith. The Militech Representative."

Meredith for her part went into professional mode as she held out her hand out. "Its a pleasure to meet you sir, Adrian has said wonderful things about you."

Dracula hummed and stood up from the chair, revealing his height to her before grabbing her hand and shaking it. "A pleasure, Miss Stout."

Meredith shook a little as she tried to keep her composure. "Um... about before, I can assure you if i had known you were there instead of your son, I would have never said that!"

Adrian who was behind his father was waving his hand, even doing a slicing motion over his throat trying to tell her, 'SHUT UP FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY SHUT UP!'

"What you say to my son is of no concern to me, however, it is not me you will have to convince." Dracula said before the chair next Adrian spun around to show Lisa with her leg over her other and glaring at Meredith.

Meredith was calm on the outside, but on the inside she was yelling. 'SHITSHITSHITSHITSHITSHIT!!!!'

While Adrian just gulped. "Uh Mother, this is Meredith." He was shaking a bit as Lisa just stared at her with a mask of zero emotion, not even a slip of whether she liked her or not which worried Adrian.

"Pleasure to meet you, ma'am." Meredith said, trying to control her shaking body.

Lisa just stood from her seat, walking up to Meredith as she looked her up and down. Walking around, she continued to study Meredith as she asked her husband. "What do you think of her?" Only to stop behind her and look at her hips.

Meredith stayed silent before jumping a bit as she felt Lisa rub her hips. ''Decent hips and waistline.'' Lisa muttered as she now came around the front.

"She reminds me a lot of you, dear." Dracula stated.

Adrian was watching with sweat pouring down his face and was a bit uncomfortable.

Lisa started inspecting Meredith's 'assets', even groping them, which made Meredith very uncomfortable and a little self conscious about being touched by the woman who birthed her future baby daddy. Lisa stepped aside and went back to her husband's side. "Well she can bear us grandchildren, but I don't like how… 'American' she is.''

Lisa may have adapted to the future they awoke to, but as for the attitudes and how women are, it was something that conflicted with her own sensibilities.

"Yes well, this is their home country so expect it, besides with a little training from you, she'll be a proper lady." Dracula whispered in Lisa's ear which caused Adrian to pale even more than he was.

'Oh God. Oh God no... Not Mother's training!!!' Adrian thought.

Lisa nodded as she walked to the door, "Indeed. Now Adrian, I expect us to meet this 'princess' of yours in the future. Come along husband, we have much to discuss.''

She said as Adrian just bowed a bit and gave her a weak reply, "Yes Mother.''

Dracula looked at the two of them before walking away and followed his wife.

Once the two were out in the hallway, Lisa commented, "I give that American at least a minute before she stakes her claim on our son. Now onto more serious business." She pulled out a tablet and held it out to her husband. "Here's what I got from the ripperdoc who treated the poor boy."

Dracula took the tablet and read through it, he was... Shocked. "Johnny Silverhand is in the chip... The whole reason we accepted the deal with Death, and now it's in Belmont's head. This just complicates everything. We can't take it out without killing him."

Lisa nodded, "I know. Which is why I'm going to put all of my free time into trying to find a process to save him."

She looked over her shoulder and teased her husband with a seductive smirk. "Which means your bed shall be a little colder and you will have only yourself for your more personal needs that I can not give.''

She winked before getting serious again. "For now though we must assume that things will become more complicated, however I along with Weiss shall be going to the funeral to try and earn V's trust while also taking responsibility for the life lost.'' She said as they entered their shared office that also happened to have a bed and closet.

"Perhaps that is the best we can do. However, prepare to be blamed, for he will look for anything to blame for Mr. Welles' death." Dracula said as he sat down at his chair and sighed.

Lisa nodded as she pulled up the clothes she would be wearing for the funeral, "Speaking of the event which led to his death, What has been happening? Anything from the Prince of Arasaka?" She asked as she looked at the outfits to wear for the funeral.

"It would seem, Yorinobu murdered his father." Dracula revealed. "We don't have any camera footage in the safe room, clever of them, but Saburo and his son were escorted there with only Yorinobu leaving alive."

Lisa sighed, "I can only guess that he's trying to stoke the flames of war?" She asked as the wall opened to her outfit coming out, of course, being the good wife she was, she gave her husband a show as she took her off her clothes. Thankfully the door was locked so they wouldn't be disturbed.

All Dracula could see was her slender and smooth back and plump ass cheeks. He smirked and admired her body before speaking, "From what we gathered, Yorinobu stole the chip from under his father's nose and he found out and made his way to the plaza in an effort to confront his son." Dracula explained while watching his wife.

Lisa was down to her panties as she huffed, "Idiot, what of his recent movements? Anything at all that indicates he wishes to start another war?" She asked as she brought up a leg and put on a black lace stocking slowly, much to the delight of her husband.

"As of right now, no." Dracula watched her with a glint in his eyes.

Lisa nodded while putting on the other stocking before putting some lace panties on. "Good, the last one was bad enough which resulted in a nuclear weapon being used, I shudder to think what will end the next one."

She slipped the black dress up which already hugged her body but stopped as she turned her head to look over at her husband, "Help me with the zipper, love?"

Dracula stood up and walked towards his wife before zipping her dress up. He kissed her shoulder and neck before whispering against her skin, "When you come back, we should divulge into one last night of pleasure before you go off on your crusade."

She giggled a bit from his ticklish cold lips, "Well if what I'm feeling upon my lower back is anything to go by, my very eager husband. Either you've been dipping into the bio augments again to spice up our love life, or you find the dress I am wearing that enticing it makes your blood boil and your desires flame like that of a Latin summer." She whispered back a little French, "mon amour."

"Well I think what I have is good enough without modifying it. I simply find you enticing~"

She smiled as she turned around, fully facing her husband as she was now dressed in a form fitting black dress, black lace stockings, and black velvet gloves that reached above her elbows. She even showed off a little cleavage that was tasteful. Offering her hand to her husband, she asked, "What do you think, draga mea?"

He took her hand and kissed her knuckles before kissing her hand and all the way up to her arm before whispering into her ear, "You look beautiful, mon chere~"

Lisa her husband a kiss before whispering against his lips, "When I return, I want you wearing only your cape with a rose hanging out of your mouth and an urge to treat me as if i was a virgin being sacrificed to a sexual deity of a long forgotten tribe."

She growled to her husband before leaving Dracula alone in the room with nothing but his thoughts, his wife's demand, and the image of how she might look when she returned home.

Dracula chuckled as he walked back to his chair before sending her a text, "I look forward to it~"

She replied with a simple, ";)"

Earlier, with V

V opened his eyes to reveal that he was in the shower with water peppering down on him. He stood up and turned off the shower before walking out and began fixing his face and hair as well as his facial hair. With that done, he went to his closet to find a proper funeral suit.

Today was the day of Jackie, his brother's funeral but because Night City has no cemeteries to speak of and those who do get buried in the ground are those with money or the ultra wealthy.

The regular people are forced to go the economic route and be cremated and their ashes put into jars with barcodes on them, almost as if to say to the people 'You're nothing more than a product being thrown away.' It was honestly demoralizing.

V got a call from Jackie's mom, Mama Welles, and he immediately agreed to the Ofrenda so he took a train ride to the bar where it would be held. He arrived early and saw Mama Welles and walked over to her. "Hey Mama."

She just hugs V, holding him tight. "V. So good to see you." She said softly, her eyes red from crying, her hug around V even indicated she's afraid she will lose another who she has come to see as a second son.

V hugged her back as well, feeling the same kind of fear she had. "It's good to see you too…"

Mama Wells smiled as she motioned to a table, "Oye. Sit, sit. You want a beer?" She asked as she sat on a stool across from another empty one as a crate of beers was seen on the table.

V sat down and nodded, "Yeah. I could do with one."

Mama Welles grabbed a bottle as she set it down in front of V, "Cheers" She said as she grabbed a bottle herself and took a sip.

He grabbed the bottle and popped the cap before taking a sip.

Mama Welles asked, "How have you been V?" She looked at V before taking another sip of her beer.

V looked down slightly, "It's been rough. Ever since that heist... I've felt lost. Like I'm drowning. Jackie was the only thing that helped keep both of us afloat."

Mama Welles took V's hand and gave it a gentle squeeze. "I know how you feel. We all do." She continued, "I am in the middle of preparing an ofrenda. There is still so much to take care of..." She looked down slightly as it's clear she was carrying everything on her shoulders.

"Do you need help with anything?" V asked.

Mama Welles just nodded, trying to fight back tears. "Si, si." Was all she said before waving V to come help set up for his brother's Ofrenda.

V finished the rest of the beer before going to help with the rest of it.

V's help was indeed needed as Mama Welles would stop every so often and stare at a spot in the bar, hold something of Jackie's for too long, or just to try and not show emotion as she tried to stay strong. Of course, V went to the hangout spot where he and V would just sit, laugh, or even talk about deep subjects, at least as deep one can get when drinking.

V asked to be a part of it and wanted to do it properly so Mama gave him the key to his garage.

When he approached the garage, he saw Misty sitting down at the door. "Misty? What're you doing here?"

Misty wiped her eyes as she looked away. "Just… processing." She said in a somber voice, but one could tell she wasn't taking this well, considering she knew. She knew he was going to die.

V sat down next to her and nodded, "Me too…"

Misty stayed silent before she asked. "Did… did he go peacefully?"

V nodded, "Yeah. He thought about you in the end. I'm here to collect something from his garage, want to come help me look?"

Misty shook her head as she brought her knees up to her chest. "I'm... not ready yet. I was planning on just remembering him here."

V wrapped an arm around her shoulder and comforted her before saying, "Misty, he'd want you to be there. Don't worry about Mama Welles, I'll talk to her."

Misty nodded as she gave V a small smile. "Thanks. I'll be alright in a bit."

He smiled and gave her a gentle hug before standing up and used the key to unlock the garage door.

Once the door opened, V stepped in. He stopped and just took in the whole thing, memories coming back to him of the early days of his and Jackie's relationship from being caught in a bad carjacking, to a blooming relationship that cemented them as honest brothers. V sniffed a little as he rubbed his eyes so he didn't cry again, for he had cried enough already and he knew that his brother wouldn't want him to cry anymore, but to be strong for their remaining family.

Inside the garage, the most prominent item was Jackie's motorcycle. Built by himself was an achievement all on his own. Looking around, V saw a basketball, gym equipment, and some pictures of some women in nsfw poses.

V shook his head slightly, "Listen V! Valentino's are those who try to go after the most beautiful chica! It's our conquest!" V laughed a little as he remembered Jackie talking about this side of the gang he was a part of.

V looked at the basketball before grasping the ball and just held it close to his body. Sitting down on the couch, he stared at the ball and got lost in thought.

He sighed when he moved the ball around and noticed that it was autographed.

V just sighed, "Jackie, ya lucky Choom." He stood up, taking the ball with him as he headed back to make sure everything was ready.

Outside the bar, a black SUV pulled in and parked at the curb. Inside of the car, Lisa was seen doing last minute make up as she continued to hear Wiess complain. "I still think it's reckless to go in here with no security detail. Your Majesty, please reconsider your action in this." Wiess was seen in a black dress, showing she was at least following tradition when it came to funerals.

"That boy died in that heist, his family needs some consolation. Especially from a corporation that had a hand in it." Lisa said, putting some lipstick on.

Wiess just bowed her head slightly, "Yes, your Majesty." She said simply as she knew that they did have a hand in the mess. Which she and almost eighty five percent of the PR department were still trying to cover it up as a terrorist attack.

"Besides, if what Blake has said is true, then V will be there, and we can attempt to talk to him." Lisa said, sitting back against her seat, looking out the window at the city and the people that walked around, some looking rather miserable as they walked. "This city deserves so much better..." Lisa lamented.

What truly broke her Vampiric heart was seeing a group of children, clearly orphaned as the one who looked to be the oldest was at least twelve or thirteen years old. He was acting as the protector and main source of heat for the two younger. Lisa without saying a word opened the door as Wiess exclaimed, "Your Majesty, the Captain hasn't declared it safe yet!"

However, Lisa didn't hear her as she was like a woman on a mission from God as she made a beeline for the three street children.

"Oh damn it!" Weiss just cursed as she got out of the SUV and caught up, "Your Majesty, wait!"

Blake was there at the end of the alleyway standing guard, however, down said alley, Lisa was seen squatting down so her eye level was with the children, giving them all a warm smile. "Her Majesty just can't help but try and save them all." Blake commented as she took a hit of her vape, letting out a small cloud escape her lips.

Weiss kept watch on her Queen and whoever may sneak up behind them.

Blake sighed, "Need me to go ahead and call transport for Her Majesty's new strays?" She snarked, but she honestly did admire how much heart her Queen had for those who suffer in this godforsaken city.

Weiss sighed and nodded, "Yeah probably should do that."

Blake nodded before sending a request out. "Ya know there's a rumor as to why she saves as many kids as possible." Blake commented as Lisa handed out actual food bars to the children instead of synthetic stuff.

"I don't deal in rumors, Blake." Weiss commented as she watched her Queen.

Blake ignored her comment and continued. "Well, rumor has it she does it because she lost the ability to have children, however the real reason is because she's building a loyal following base that then goes into our armed forces. Loyal soldiers who owe everything to their savior, Saint Lisa, Mother Lisa, Queen Lisa Tepes." Blake started sounding like a conspiracy theorist from the deep net, and not the ones who claimed Dracula had a sex cult.

"She is everything, but a child soldier maker is not one of those." Weiss said with a sneer aimed at Blake.

Blake shrugged, "Well, I'm just a soldier, my job is to kill the threats to our monarchy and our kingdom. Your job is to make sure rumors like this don't crop up in the first place." She said as Lisa was now seen helping the children into a transport which took them away.

"Ah, another set of innocent lives that shall not die." Lisa said with a smile.

"The Ofrenda is about to start, Milady." Weiss noted.

Lisa nodded as she walked off to the bar, where inside, friends and family of the Welles were seen gathered as they drank and ate. Sharing joyous memories, laughter, and most of all remembering the good times of the late Jackie Welles.

She looked around, trying to find V, but her search was cut short when Mama Welles walked up to a table which held candles, flowers, and pictures of Jackie. She turned around to look at the guests and said, "I'm not going to tell you about what kind of a man my son was, or lament about how much I miss him. Instead, I'll tell you a story."

Mama Welles took a deep breath and said, "When he was about... Nineteen years old? Jackie was in the Valentinos. They were at war with Maelstrom back then. I get a call from the hospital, and they tell me he got shot. Three times, by the heart. He was conscious by the time I got there... So many tubes coming out of him. He looked like a pulpo. Like an octopus or something like that. He said to me, 'No te preocupes, mamá. Look, I'm bulletproof. Nothing bad'll ever happen to me.' And when I go, he took off his Valentinos ring. He swore he won't need it anymore. But he wasn't scared. He just didn't want me to worry."

Mama Welles looked at the Valentinos ring before placing it on the table. She finished with, "Descansa en paz, hijo mío." Before walking off to the side to let someone else go.

Lisa just stayed silent as she kept back, lowering her head and bringing her hands together she held a golden cross which had a dragon wrap around it. Praying for the young man's soul to have safe travels to a better world than what they have. Blake was respectful at least, taking off her hat she lowered her head as Wiess did the same.

The next person was Viktor, holding a pair of red boxing gloves. He took a deep breath before addressing the crowd, "Among the membership of the Night City Devil's Boxing Club, we had this saying, 'Make your best friends among the fighters who can knock out cold.' And it's true. Jackie's arm was a cannon. No one's ever hit me as hard- heh, I can still almost feel it." Viktor looked back at the table before placing the gloves down before saying, "Twelve rounds, buddy."

Finally Lisa saw V walking up, holding a basketball. Of course, she didn't move forward and decided to wait until the gathering afterwards.

V felt very out of place here, among everyone who knew him, whether it was his former gang members or his family. But he stuck to his guns and began speaking, "I often think back to when Jackie and I first met. It all started when he put a heater to my head. Then some badges show up, and beat the shit out of us. It's half my fault and half his, and we hightail it out together. Half an hour later... Well, we're eating dinner at Mama Welles. Turns out we had a lot more in common than either of us had thought- Principles."

"Jackie Welles... The best friend you could ask for. Loyal to a fault. In a city where trust was so hard to come by, he'd be there. Friends like him are rare... And I'm proud to have called Jackie my best friend. Once he set his mind on something, he was willing to die to achieve it. He once told me, 'Bróder, the one thing we can't do is be afraid of others.' His loved one... He would've sacrificed his life for them. Without hesitation. I don't know how many people can say that for others."

"But most importantly... Everyone saw Jackie as this grinning charmer who saw the good in everyone, and everything. But they were wrong, he was a hell of an ambitious choom who never gave up, and whose drive cost him his life. But he did in life what he said he'd do- reached fame and fortune, no fear in his eyes or heart."

V turned around and put the basketball down and said, "A Heywood kid with a hell of a drive." He looked at a picture of Jackie and finished, "Rest easy, choom."

Lisa had to fight back tears at such a heart fueled speech. Of course once V stepped down he was engulfed in the arms of Miss Welles. "He would have been so proud of what you said chico." Mama Welles whispered to V which was heard by Lisa's enhanced hearing.

V nodded, "Thank you."

Mama pulled back and said, "I'd like to offer a toast to the memory of my son." She grabbed a shot of tequila, and so did V.

Everyone else did as well, once the toast was done, everyone began to party, of course once into the party everything began to get silent as whispers spread. The cause for the whispers was none other than Lisa walking towards Mama Welles. Among the whispers was some V could make out. "Saint Lisa?" "What is a saint doing here?"

Mama Welles and V watched as she walked up. "You..." V recognized her.

Mama Welles was stunned as Lisa stood before them with a bouquet of Lilies and a crucifix necklace wrapped around her hand. "Am I… too late to pay my respects to the departed?" She asked in a low and respectful voice.

Mama shook herself of her shock before answering the Saint. "N-no, it's never too late, but why?"

Lisa adopted a sad smile, "Because I see his death as partially the Tepes family's fault. I know you may not forgive me and that's alright. But I ask you to at least allow me to pay my respects and offer my deepest apologies to what happened and that if there's any way I can repay the injustice I committed against you. Then name it." She said bowing her upper body slightly to Mama Wells which caused the whole room to be stunned into silence, even V who was standing there wondering just who this woman is.

Mama closed her eyes, tears flowing down her cheeks as she cried before wrapping her arms around Lisa.

Weiss and Blake watched from behind and lowered their heads down.

Lisa wrapped an arm around Miss Welles as she allowed her to cry. Finally, after a while, Mama let go of Lisa and shook her head. "I can never, ever hate a soul as pure as yours. For I know who you are and what you do, and because of the fact that you do so much good I shall never hate you." She moved and nodded towards the small shrine as Lisa stepped forward and laid down the flowers, along with the crucifix, stepping back and gave a small prayer before turning around and soon shook hands with the local friends and family of Jackie.

"Mama Wells, who is she?" V asked in a soft voice.

"She is Mother Lisa, she's like an angel that was sent down from heaven. She's helped so many children get off the streets, helped out so many people with whatever problem they had. She is an amazing doctor that I believe many strive to be." Mama Welles explained.

V looked at Lisa and had a strange sense of familiarity. As if he's seen her face. Long before he ended up in her hospital.

Viktor spoke up, "She's called Saint Lisa because during the war she risked her own life to save as many people as she could, even going as far as to bring back the bodies of the dead so they would not be lost to time."

Mama Welles nodded as Lisa came back and looked at V with sadness. "Mister V, my deepest condolences for the loss of your brother. I only wish I could have saved him as I did for you. Please forgive me." She says with a slight bow of her head towards V.

V was conflicted. Knowing that her company was partly involved in his choom's death made him angry, but also... Touched that they apologized. Part of his mind was thinking, 'They're fucking Corpos. You can't trust anything they say.' Though that could've been… someone else saying that.

But another part pondered, 'Maybe they're telling the truth...'

"Th-thanks." V simply said.

Lisa held a card out to V. "If you ever need someone to talk to, or need any medical help. Please call." She said with a kind smile.

He took the card and looked at it before looking back at Lisa and nodded. "Thank you."

She just nodded back before leaving with Blake and Weiss following behind.

V watched her and the others walk away before Mama Welles' brought him out of his stupor. "V. Here, Jackie would've wanted you to have it." She held a key out to him and he realized what it was.

"Jackie's bike..." V said, taking the key.

She nodded, "Use it well, mijo."

V nodded before hugging her gently before bidding farewell to everyone.

He walked outside when he got a call, he answered it to reveal an Asian man with facial hair. He said, "Mr. V. It's time we talked."

As the mysterious caller contacted V, Lisa, Weiss, and Blake were back in the SUV and drove down to their latest orphanage. Lisa changed out of her black dress and into a white and blue dress. "Has security been set up?" She asked as she looked through reports.

Blake replied, "Not yet, milady. Security detail is still going through reports and clean up."

She nodded as they arrived at a large 4 story building with a multitude of windows. "Well, I already have been given the concern from the locals and even Militech that setting so close to gang territory is not a smart idea. But I say it's for me to be able to save more children this way." She said before reaching under her seat and pulling out a large case which read "Long Sword."

Blake sighed and looked out the window. "As you wish, Your Majesty." Before she knew it, the SUV parked into the orphanage.

Lisa just smiled as she exited the SUV and walked in, setting the case down at the entrance. She continued to walk as she soon got swarmed by children within the main courtyard.

Wiess watched her laugh and play with the children and it made her smile slightly before she asked Blake, "What is in that box labeled Long Sword anyway?"

Blake shrugged, "I don't know myself. What I do know is that it was a gift from the King to his Queen. Said she should have some form of protection."

"Probably a good idea." Weiss said before a little girl walked up to her.

"You have really pretty hair!" The girl said.

Weiss couldn't help but smile before kneeling down to talk to the little girl.

Blake kept to herself, even if the children kept wanting to touch her ears and tail. Overall the children were happy, fed, and taken care of and given a sense of love that was missing.

That was until someone decided to do something very, very stupid. "HEY! ANYONE HOME! BETTER ANSWER BEFORE WE BUST THE DOOR DOWN!" What followed was a single rifle shot impacting the door but not penetrating it.

Blake turned around and pulled a pistol out and aimed it at the door while Weiss pulled out a rapier. The little girl held onto Weiss' leg.

Lisa however stood up and walked to the door. "Girls." She said calmly. "Bring me my Long Sword, and protect the children. While you're at it, please contact either my husband or son." She said calmly still, but her eyes told another story, for her eyes were burning red with rage.

Weiss sheathed her rapier before picking the girl up and jogged towards the case and brought it to Lisa.

Lisa took it with one hand before opening the door and walked out to the sight of a whole biker gang. Lisa noted that they were all Japanese. It was the Tyger Claws. 'Of course. Arasaka already wants to try and scare me, thinking I'm the weak link.'

The gang leader grinned as he said "You got a nice place here, gaijin! But in order to operate here you need to buy protection! It is a very dangerous place. It'll cost you… quite a pretty penny. But I'd be willing to give you a discount." The gang leader announced, spreading their arms out while eyeing her body up and down.

Lisa looked at the gang leader with burning red eyes before she held her case out and opened it and the case dropped, revealing Lisa's weapon.

The Tyger Claw gang backed away and looked at it with widened eyes.

Lisa just smiled. "You believe me to be a simple woman, a woman who shall bow and do as you demand. A woman who will just lay with you just for protection…"

She unclasped her weapon, loading it before she announced louder. "However, my name is LISA TEPES! Wife to Vladimir Dracula Tepes! And you have the audacity to fire upon a building full of children like a bunch of ruffians and rapscallions!"

With a rack of a bolt she finally stands pulling out a modified belt-fed M134 Minigun. "So my only answer to such heathens as you is this…" She leveled the death dealing device at the gang present. "SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FUCKING FRIEND!"

The Tyger Claw gang began scrambling to get away, ony to get gunned down by Lisa's minigun.

Flesh and entrails were blown to smithereens with cyber parts being turned into scrap metal.bLisa screamed as she walked towards the remains as she destroyed their vehicles and obliterated every single gang member of the Tyger Claws.

As soon as the last shell casing fell to the ground, Blake, being the brave one, stuck her head out before her cat ears shot up in shock and awe. "Holy SHIT!!!" Blake exclaimed while Wiess just facepalmed as she could feel the PR headache coming on.

Lisa took deep breaths with her eyes dimming down from the glowing red rage before she dropped her gun and said, "Now... Get security down here now. I have an itch that only my husband can scratch."

They nodded quickly and got to work, as Lisa took a spare SUV and drove off making a beeline to their HQ. She parked and entered inside at a fast and even pace before she just walked to her husband's office where, thankfully, only he was present. Locking the door, she said. "Dracula."

He was working on some paperwork when he saw Lisa lock the door. "You're early, my dear."

Lisa just licked her lips before walking towards her husband. Once she was a foot away from his desk, she POUNCED like a big cat does to their prey. Outside the office doors all one could hear were muffled growls and moans of very intense love.

Back with V, he drove off towards the diner in Jackie's bike where the Asian stranger said to speak with him.

As V pulled in, he saw a scrap truck pulling in as well, ignoring it he stepped into the dinner before spotting the man. Walking over he sat down across from him. "Alright, who are you?" He asked flatly.

"I am Goro Takemura, Protector of Saburo Arasaka." The Asian man introduced himself while holding a cup of coffee.

V stayed silent as he just simply observed the man in front of him.

"I called you because I need your help to find Evelyn Parker." Takemura explained.

V just eyed the man with narrowed eyes. "Alright. Why? And what makes you think Evelyn's gonna talk?" He asked as his hand under the table rested on one of Jackie's pistols that was given to him.

"Because she is close to Yorinobu, she could be a part of the key to discovering how to solve both of our problems." He said, taking a sip of his coffee.

V stayed silent as he saw the news playing. "Seems like there's more problems that you should be worried about." He motioned to the TV which had the running headline.

"Arasaka backed gang attacks Lisa Tepes! Attempted Assassination? Or first steps to WAR!" Tepes and Alucard security forces along with Militech were seen working with the NCPD in front of the new orphanage. Which for V, much as he hated corpos, even he knew some had a line they dont cross and it's clear that this guy's old employer just crossed one.

Takemura looked at the TV and sighed, "Perhaps, but I need your help because I have reason to believe Yorinobu murdered his father, but I need evidence. And you were there when it happened."

V shook his head and looked at Goro with anger. "Buddy, I may have been there, but I was dodging bullets from both your people and another group. Hell, I lost a brother! MY Brother in that cluster! And now, I've got a fucking chip that is slowly killing me, so apologies if I don't want anything to do with your little fucking ploy."

Before he could continue his rant, the door to the diner opened and an NCPD officer and an agent walked in. The agent was female with black hair and wore a dark suit with a red trim, white under shirt, black tie, and such black shades you couldn't see their eyes. The pair walked up to the owner of the diner and began talking with him as they flashed him a picture.

The picture showed Goro Takemura's face on it.

V looked at the man as he said in a low voice. "I think they're here for you." He said as he acted as normal as possible and put the gun away.

Takemura turned around to look at V, "Perhaps, but I had nothing to do with that attack."

The owner soon looked over at their direction and nodded to which V stiffened. "Shit" was all he said under his breath as he had both hands on the table now as both Agent and NCPD officer walked toward them.

Takemura remained calm as he sipped some coffee.

Both stopped in front of their table and the agent stared at them. "Mister Takemura." She said in a voice with so little emotion V swore she was some sort of full chrome-borge or even an android.

Takemura looked up at the agent, "Yes?"

She flashed her badge, "T.I.S. Agent C, I wonder if you would be so kind as to accompany me to answer a few questions in an ongoing investigation."

It seemed like a request for a regular person, but the way the agent acted and even her body language, one who knew Tepes Intelligence Services, knew it was anything BUT a request.

Takemura knew this kind of talk. He looked at V and spoke, "If you want more answers about the relic, look for Anders Hellman, if you can find him." He stood up from the table and began walking with the Tepes Agent and NCPD officer behind him.

V just stared at the door before letting out a breath he didn't know he was holding. "Holy shit I thought I was gonna die." He said to himself as he buried his face into his hands, honestly he didn't know why, but he felt so close to death just being close to that agent.

And what that guy said, what did he mean? So many questions, so little answers. "Man that was some Gestapo mixed fucking KGB with a sprinkle of CIA shit that just happened right there." V almost jumped out of his skin as the ghost in his head almost gave him a heart attack.

Johnny Silverhand appeared where Takemura sat and tapped on the table. "But thank God they're gone. That was one Corpo scum too many."

V snarled, "You know, you've got some fucking nerve to show up after the shit you pulled last night!" This made several people in the diner look at V.

Johnny laughed a bit, "Hey genius, they can't hear me. So try using your inside voice." V just indicates to his head that he's on a call and everyone goes back to their business.

"What do you want from me?" V asked inside his head.

Johnny propped his boots up on the table and replied, "I've had some time to think, and congratulations, I have no intention of killing you."

V just sarcastically said, "I feel so honored." Leaning forward he repeated his question. "Now what the hell do you want from me?"

"Simple, I want to find a way for us to separate." Johnny explained. "And that would start with the Afterlife. If Rogue is alive, we can rely on her intel on finding this Anders Hellman that the Jap was talking about."

V sighed, "Sorry if I'm not all about jumping into something that just so happens to show signs of another corpo war." He hissed but Johnny's attention was on the blond bombshell who walked in getting food at the counter.

"Damn, now that's a good one." Johnny commented before looking back at V. His figure glitched a bit as he spoke, "Yeah well whether you like it or not, you got involved the moment you stole the chip. So suffice to say, if you want to survive, we're gonna have to work together. And our first course of action starts with finding Rogue and getting her help."

V sighed and rubbed his eyes, "Alright... Alright. But if I get caught by those creepy ass agents. I'm claiming insanity and saying the ghost of Johnny Silverhand made me do it." He said flatly before standing up and heading to the door.

As V walked out, he bumped into Panam by the door frame, "Oh shit, my bad."

Panam just shoved him, "Watch where you're going, CYKA!" She said before heading to her friend. V admired their asses a bit before finally leaving, shaking his head.

Yang looked at her friend and chuckled. "Damn girl, people on the tribe say I have anger issues." She snickered as the cook set down an order of burgers and fries.

"Yeah well after the bullshit Nash pulled on me, and Rogue fucking me over, I'm seriously pissed off." Panam snipped at Yang.

Yang laughed a little as she pushed a plate of food to her chief's daughter, which she started eating. "Girl, you gotta get laid."

Panam just stops and looks at Yang after swallowing her food. "Yang, have you forgotten who my ma and mom are? Correction, the moment I bring even a scent of a man into the tribe, Ma will be there ready to shoot and or challenge him to a major beat down for the right to court me." She slurped her soda and sighed as she rested a hand on her head.

"Well then you better get lucky with the guy. Maybe the dude who bumped into you will do." Yang shrugged as she slurped on her soda as well.

Panam just coughed before punching Yang on the arm as she exclaimed, "Shut up!" Which caused the two nomads to laugh, unaware that indeed their destiny and that of a man with a forgotten past would soon intersect in the future.
