Chapter 6

(Unknown location)

Today was training day for Damian and his partner Venom, only he wasn't training with Amelia, no he was in large room that was had fire everywhere, the intense heat from the flames was making it unbearable for Venom as he was in so much pain right now. Today he asked his boss AFO to help him build a stronger resistance to his two weaknesses. AFO was more than happy oblige.

After about an hour of standing in a room, the flames immediately turned off. Venom landed on his hands and knees breathing heavily. Then AFO's voice rang through the speakers in the room.

"How are you feeling Venom, do you feel like you can keep going?"

"We're fine, just let us catch our breath for a moment"

"Alright then, don't forget to drink plenty of water because we well being going at it again in a few minutes."

Venom downed the gallons of water that were brought to him by a couple of servants of AFO, He and Damian have been going through this intensive training in order to build a stronger resistance to fire and and ultra high sounds, becoming separated from Venom was the last thing he wanted and he didn't want to be easily KO'ed when he would eventually fight Endeavor's brat, after he was done drinking his last gallon, he felt like he was ready to go again.

"Alright boss we're ready now"

"Excellent" said AFO as he turned on the flames once more.

A warp-gate opened up in the bar and Damian walked through looking exhausted, he sat down and asked Kurogiri for a lot of water. "You look exhausted Damian, sensei really put you through the wringer huh."

"Yeah, put it is necessary if I want to become stronger, there's no way I'am going to let those UA brats get ahead of me." said Damian growling under his breath, Kurogiri noticed his anger, Damian had told him and Shigaraki on how he encountered a couple of students from class 1A, the same ones from their attack on the USJ and what what he heard, his meeting with them almost ended in blood.

"Don't worry about it Damian, soon you'll get your shot at those brats, it's only a matter of time, we just need to recruit more members for the league" said Shigaraki. "Yeah, I know, but remember what I said, don't just look for someone with a powerful quirk we need people who have experience and skill, even a weak quirk could be useful if used strategically.

"Yeah I get it, I have Giran looking for people, hopefully he can find someone who actually useful."

"Giran has never disappointed, I have confidence that he will come through" said Kurogiri.

"Yeah we will just have to wait and see" said Damian, "so what's new?"

"We have just been informed that the students of UA will start doing internships with various hero agencies around Japan" said Kurogiri.

"What how do you know about that?" Damian asked.

"Oh sensei has a mole in UA right now as we speak, sensei informed me and Kurogiri about it early this morning" explained Shigaraki. Damian was surprised, he had no idea that the league had someone spying for them, this means they had the element of surprise on their side.

"Well who is it, who's our mole? asked Damian.

"Honestly we don't know sensei never told us who it was, he rarely tells us anything" said Shigaraki in a annoyed tone.

"I believe the reason for it is because, incase of a scenario where the heroes were to gain leverage over one of us most of our secrets and will be at the fingertips" explained Kurogiri.

"Smart move on his part, one can't never be to careful" said Damian as he sipped on his water, "anyway guys am going out for a walk, maybe I can find some people to recruit and also I want to check Yokoama city, never really got to check it now that I realize it" said Damian as he began walking out of the bar with his bag in his hand.

"Don't stay out too long Damian" said Kurogiri.

"Don't worry I'll be back soon" said Damian as he walked out.

Yokoama city was the second largest city in Japan, second only to Tokyo and it had many places for tourist, such as the central hub Minato Mirai a place of business and shopping. This place is basically a large outdoor shopping mall with over 600 shops and 200 restaurants, right now Damian was enjoying a big bowl of udon noodles. "Man now this is delicious, don't you think so Venom?"

'I guess human food isn't so bad, but human organs are so much better"

"Whatever you say Venom," said Damian slurping on his noddles as he continued to look at all of the people around him,"Look at all these people, smiling and not having a care in the world and yet they are so unaware that there is a dangerous villain among them, so vulnerable to a massacre and there isn't a single hero in sight. I could slaughter 50 people or more before a hero shows up which I estimate would take around thirty minutes , but that wouldn't change anything, it would just make them call out to heroes even more, make them even more dependent on them."

"How exactly are you going to destroy their trust in heroes Damian, getting dirt on them obviously didn't work, because the HPSC is always destroying the evidence we sent to news stations and police stations before they could reveal them to the public."

"I don't know V, but we have to find a way, those fuckers who hurt Jordyn were just three very little fishes in a very large ocean of corruption, it makes you wonder how many heroes in Japan are just like those three who never faced any punishment for their actions, how many atrocities are being committed behind closed doors.

'It's sickening I mean we are villains ourselves, but we don't pretend that we aren't, most of these heroes are wolves in sheep's clothing, some of them don't really care for the people they are supposed to protect and if those three bastards that we killed we're aiming to be heroes then who's to say there aren't any bastards like them in those hero schools right now.

"Exactly, the hero society is full of rotten eggs, but people are so unaware of the parasites infecting their world, that's why we joined the league, because it will give us a better chance at exposing the snakes in the grass, so we will just have to be patient.

"Whatever you say Damian"

After finishing his udon Damian spent the day wondering around Minato Mirai, as he was walking he he heard a commotion going on nearby, Damian turned his head and saw a least four large teens beating on a smaller one with light brown hair and tan skin.

"Come on trash pick yourself up and fight back" said the taller thug as he continued to kick the defenseless teen. As Damian watched he began to remember all those times he was beaten by bullies for being quirkless. He looked around and saw that no one was jumping in to help the small teen, some people passing by were giving him looks of pity, while others had looks of satisfied smirks on his their faces, almost as if they where happy at the treatment the shorter teen was receiving.

Damian grit his teeth, without thinking he charged at the ring leader who to busy kicking his target that he didn't notice Damian coming at him like an enraged bull. He landed a power kick to the bully's face that ended up sending him flying into a couple of nearby trashcans. This caught the other thugs offguard, but they didn't have time to think as they were punched really hard in the stomachs. The small teen looked up and saw a really muscular older teen with jaded green hair and green eyes, he looked down at him.

"Are you alright?" asked Damian, but before the smaller teen could answer, the thugs got back up and they were mad, the ring leader was the first to speak. "Hey man what the hell are you doing why are you helping that scum?!" Damian turned his head to face the group giving them an intense glare that sent shivers not only down their spines, but also the people who were watching.

"Scum? The only scum I see are the four thugs beating on a much smaller kid and the rest of these fucking people on the sidelines doing nothing and smirking while he was being beaten." said Damian still glaring at them, this reminded Damian of his mistreatment prior to bonding with Venom, he remembered all the beatings he received from his classmates in school and from the other kids at the orphanage, no one came to help and they all just watched as he was beaten.

"That bastard is scum, so you even know how villainous his quirk is, why are trying to be a hero and protect him?!" said the ring leader. That comment only upset Damian even further, "Okay one I don't care what his quirk is and two don't ever call me a hero again or you'll just how villainous I can become." said Damian with so much malice in his voice, "Now am only going to say this once...scram"

Although the thugs were scared, they decided to teach this punk who attacked them a lesson, brandishing their quirks to attack one thug turned his arms into swords, the second one turned his fingers into metal vine like appendages tipped with spiky disks similar anchor tips, the third similar to the first one turned his hands into giant sledgehammers, the ring leader began to emit flames from his arms and legs, great another fire quirk user and he can't kill any of these fuckers, not with all those witnesses around in broad-daylight.

As all four thugs attacked Damian took a deep breath and got into his fighting stand. The sword thug slashed at him but he dodged the swing with a backflip and deliver a kick to his jaw knocking him instantly, shocking the others at how fast Damian managed to knock out one of them so quick. The anchor finger guy stretch his iron like appendages at Damian hoping to ensnare him, but Damian got in close and grabbed his hand in a firm bonebreaking grip causing him to cry out in pain.

"Let him go you asshole!" shouted the sledgehammer guy swung his hammer hands at Damian to get him to let go of his friend, Damian quickly dodged and the sledgehammer thug accidentally hit his friend in the head. "Oh shit Ueno I'm sorry I didn't mean to do that!, screamed the thug as the now named Ueno was bleeding from his head. The ringleader infuriated attack Damian with his fiery fists and kicks, despite fire being one of his two weaknesses he remained calmed and dodged them effortlessly. The thug went for a high kick which Damian dodged and delivered a punch to his groin, causing him groan immense pain, but he was punched left and right by Damian, blood began to pour out of the guys mouth, to the thug Damian's fist felt like iron weights he could have sworn that a few teeth came out.

After Damian was done he looked at the thug with the sledgehammer hands freaking out over his friend that was bleeding over his head,"If you are so worried about him cut your losses here and get him to the hospital.

Despite not wanting to back down they knew that if they didn't get their friend to a hospital he would die from internal bleeding in his brain. The fire quirk thug gave them a death glare "this isn't over you hear me not by a long shot!" He shouted.

Damian offered his hand to the down teen, which he took as Damian helped him up, he then ran while holding the teen's arm as he heard the sirens of an ambulance getting closer.

After finding a secluded area, both boys began to catch their breaths, the brown haired teen looked at Damian. "Hey uh...thanks for helping me out back, am Sugano Yuji by the way" said the now named Sugano Yuji.

"Names Damian and Don't mention it, but why were those guys beating on you in the first place?" Asked Damian. Sugano looked down as if he was ashamed, "it's because of my quirk, it's caused me nothing but trouble."

"Why" Damian asked, Sugano began to explain why his quirk was trouble.

"My quirk is called gas it works in a similar way like the pro-hero Midnight, but instead of putting them to sleep gently it knocks them out, it also has toxic properties so whoever inhales it will start to cough violently before falling unconscious and am not immune to my quirk so I have to cover my face whenever I use it, but like every other kid I wanted to be a hero, but everyone just laughed at the idea I couldn't even defend myself without hurting myself or hurting others, I mean how can I be a hero and defeat villains if I just poison myself or others, even my parents look at me like a bomb about to go off, hell when it was discovered what my quirk was my parents forbade me from every using it" said Sugano finishing his explanation.

Damian took all this in, he knew discrimination more than anybody, quirkless people like him were always getting ostracized, but he had know idea that people who's quirks are considered villainous or useless also faced similar discriminations.

"Listen Sugano, all that stuff people say about your quirk being villainous is bullshit" said Damian surprising the younger teen, Damian continued, "there is no such thing as a villainous quirk, it only depends on the individual who uses it, I mean look at Endeavor, his quirk can burn down buildings and also burn someone to a crisp, but no one ever says anything because he's the number 2 hero in Japan, or better yet look at Snipe, he literally shoots people, but if they have the nerve to call you a villain than they should take a good look in the mirror, because what I saw were four thugs attacking a civilian." explained Damian stunning Sugano

"Wow I never met anyone with such a different mindset on heroes before" said Sugano.

"Well guess am one of the few who are different and not afraid to say what I really think about heroes." said Damian.

"Anyway what's your quirk Damian I noticed that you fought Mihara and his goons purely using hand-to-hand combat." Said Sugano.

"Actually Sugano am Quirkless" said Damian, he wasn't lying as technically Venom wasn't a quirk, but Sugano didn't need to know that."

"Whoa really, damn you must be pretty tough to beat Mihara's gang like that and Mihara as been taking Karate lessons for three years."

"I had good teacher and those idiots were just a couple of brainless thugs who relied on their quirks too much." Said Damian as he pulled out some snacks and sodas from his bag and offered some to Sugano.

"As they sat down enjoying their snacks and drinks Damian told Sugano about his life prior to bonding with Venom of course leaving out the part where he bonded with the alien symbiote.

"Damn Damian you sure had it rough, but I got to say maybe you're better off without parents." Said Sugano.

"I don't know about that Sugano, there are times I wanted to know who my folks are." Damian said.

"Maybe, but with the way mine treat me, I wish I was an orphan" said Sugano in a rather sad tone that Damian was able to pick up. "What do you mean by that Sugano?" Damian asked concern. Sugano sighed although he's only known Damian for a short time, he felt like he could confide in him. "Remember when I said that my parents weren't no different from everyone else who views me as a villain because of my quirk, well that was before the incident"

"Incident?" questioned Damian

"Two years ago I was babysitting a rich couple's eight year old son in Osaka, his name was Mototsune Kuba, he was a good kid, not at all a snob like most rich kids, anyway an hour after I put Kuba to bed, five burglars broke in, when they saw me they they attacked me with the intent to kill a they didn't want to leave any witnesses so they tried to kill me and said they were going to kill Kuba after killing me. I panicked so against my parents wishes I used my quirk to knock them all out, it did the job but what I didn't know was that Kuba was in the room because the commotion woke him up and he ended up inhaling my gas, and since he was so young the toxic properties ended up killing him." explained Sugano, shocking Damian.

"After that, I spent two years in the Osaka juvenile detention, even though Kuba's death was ruled as an accident, that didn't stop people from labeling me as a child killer or the Psycho babysitter and it didn't help that Kuba's parents made my family's life impossible and we had to move here because of it. My father was furious and called me a disgrace and a monster and beat me pretty badly and my mom didn't even help me or comfort me after the beating, she just drinks and pretends that I don't exist and the incident that happened in Osaka reached here thanks to the internet and the Motosunes influence now am labeled as villain no matter where I go." Finished Sugano telling his story with his eyes starting to water.

Damian was at a loss for words, he thought his life was bad, but Sugano had it worse than him, he was labeled a monster for something he didn't intend to do, he was just someone who trying to do the right thing, but life screwed him over.

Damian put his hand on his shoulder to try and comfort him. "I'm sorry that happened to you Sugano, but what happen to Kuba wasn't your fault, you acted in self-defense and you shouldn't be condemned for it, it was just unfortunate that the kid left his room just when you were using your quirk it wasn't your fault."

Sugano wiped his eyes, "thanks Damian, I'm glad to finally meet someone who would just listen" said Sugano. Damian just gave him a smile, "anytime Sugano, here let me give you my contact information can I borrow your phone?"

Sugano gave him his cellphone and Damian put down his contact information he then handed him back his phone. "There's my contact info, if you ever need someone to talk to or if you ever need help, just call and let me know where you are and I will be there okay" said Damian.

"Thanks Damian I will" said Sugano as they parted ways. While today may have started out shitty, it got better as soon as he met Damian, he just made his first friend in a long time, but he knew his happiness wouldn't last long as he knew he had to eventually return home. The moment he enetred his home he was greeted not so warmly by his father.

"Where the hell have you been?" he growled.

"I was out, why the hell do you care, I thought you be happy not having to see me around" retorted Sugano.

"Watch your tone with me boy, you missed your curfew" his father said not changing his tone.

"It's only 7:05pm, just five minutes late, and I'm not in the mood for your shit right now, I just want to go lay down and rest considering that I just got jumped today." said Sugano as he began to walk towards his room.

"Humph knowing you, you probably had it coming considering you're a criminal in the making." said his father rather scornfully. Sugano stopped, even though he's heard that many times, hearing from his father still always hurt, his eyes darted to the couch in the living room and saw his mom not even batting him an eye, she was just drinking her wine.

"Go to hell" said Sugano. His father grabbed his his shirt, "Listen here you little bastard, I'm still your father so you better show me some respect" he growled. Sugano just slapped his hand away. "You haven't been my father since the day Kuba died, and that pathetic woman over there hasn't been my mother since she started to pour wine down her throat like some goddamn drunk!"

Suddently Sugano felt a fist struck him across the face, sending him to the ground, "YOU GET DON'T TALK TO US LIKE THAT YOU LITTLE SHIT, WHILE YOU WERE GONE I FOUND SOMETHING VERY INTERESTING!" said his father as he put a black handgun on the table. "YOU WANT TO TELL ME WHY I FOUND A GUN IN YOUR ROOM!?"

"Well considering that I'm not allowed to use my quirk and you guys don't want me to take self-defense classes ,I needed to find someway to defend myself" said Sugano as he tried to get back up, but was kicked in the stomach by his father. "THIS IS PROVE ENOUGH THAT YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A SCUMBAG VILLAIN, WHAT DID I EVER DO TO DESERVE A FUTURE CRIMINAL FOR A SON, KILLING AN INNOCENT KID WITH YOUR QUIRK WASN'T ENOUGH FOR YOU, BUT NOW YOU WANT TO DO IT WITH A GUN, WHY CAN'T YOU BE MORE LIKE MIHARA THAT BOY IS GOING PLACES, YOU ON THE OTHER HAND ARE NOTHING BUT A PARASITE IN THIS WORLD THAT SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN BORN.

Sugano finally snapped, he punched his father in the groin, cutting off his rant and causing him to grunt in pain as he hold his family jewels, Sugano grabbed his gun and began to beat his father's face with it, Sugano hand began to feel pain with how fast he was swinging the gun, but despite this he continued to brutally beat his father's face. "IT WAS NEVER MY INTENTION TO KILL KUBA, I SAID IT ABOUT HUNDRED TIMES THAT I USED MY QUIRK IN SELF-DEFENSE, I WANS'T MY FAULT THAT KUBA WALKED INTO THE ROOM AT THAT MOMENT, BUT YOU'RE TO THICKHEADED TO LISTEN TO REASON, SO FUCK YOU AM DONE EXPLAINING MYSELF!" shouted Sugano as 2 years of bottling and suppressing his rage and constant ridicule and bullying had finally taken it's toll.

"STOP STOP IT SUGANO GET OFF OF HIM!" shouted his mother trying to pull him off of his father.

STOP STOP!? ALL THIS TIME WHEN HE WOULD BEAT ME YOU NEVER ONCE PUT DOWN THE WINE AND CONE TO MY RESCUE, BUT NOW YOU ACT JUST HELP THIS BASTARD, WHILE I GUESS I SHOULDN'T BE SURPRISED CONSIDERING THAT YOU SEE ME AS A MONSTER TOO HUH!" Shouted Sugano.

He then grabbed his gun and ran out of the house and into the night. As he ran he couldn't stop the tears from falling out of his eyes, he as soon as he was far from his house he took out his phone and dialed for Damien.

"Hello"

"D-Damian it's me S-Sugano"

"Sugano what's wrong?"

"L-Look can you meet me in the K-K-Kita district please?"

"Alright then I'll see you there"

After the call ended Sugano made his way towards the Kita district he find a secluded area with no people. As he waited for Damian he felt someone shove him to the ground.

"You piece of shit villain, what a coincidence that we would find you here, did you miss us?"

Sugano looked up and saw that it was Mihara and his friends, but noticed that Ueno the guy with anchor fingers quirk wasn't with them. "You're probably wondering where Ueno is, well let me tell you the sad news, Ueno is dead, he suffred a traumatic brain injury from the blow to the head and now his family in in mourning all thanks to that goddamn green haired bastard!"

Little did Miharu and his friends knew that Sugano was in no mood to deal with them. "Damian had nothing to do with Ueno's death it was your idiot hammer friend that struck him in the head, he's the killer!" Sugano shouted but was kicked in the ribs my Mihara.

"Shut your fucking mouth you piece of shit, you're nothing but a fucking villain and we are going to make sure you never stand again, and once we become heroes, we'll look for scum like you and do the same thing to them. Despite the situation he was in, Sugano couldn't help but to start laughing.

"What are you laughing?!" asked the sword armed thug.

"Yeah what's so funny?!" said the hammer thug.

"You guys, I'm laughing at you three, you call yourselves heroes, but I know who you guys really are, you're just a couple of gutless cowards to who prey on the weak just to make yourselves feel superior, I've seen you bastards beating on the quirkless students in school, how you torment them for your own amusement and yet you have the gall the call me a villain? Ha I guess you three haven't looked in a mirror in such a long time cause I'm looking at a couple of villains right now, oh and your buddy Ueno got exactly what he deserved and the world is better of without him." said Sugano smiling evilly.

This statement only enraged the three bullies even further as they began to viciously kick Sugano, Mihara lit his feet on fire to burn Sugano as he kicked him. "You're going to suffer first before we use our quirks to finish you off" said the sword armed bully, suddenly a loud bang went of as the said bully fell to the ground with a hole in his forehead, Mihara and the the other bully stared in shock at their now dead friend, "OH MY GOD SAWADA" screamed the hammer bully, but he too felt dead as he was also shot in the head. Mihara turned and saw that Sugano had a gun in his hand.

Mihara screamed and ran, but Sugano fired again hitting him in the leg, Mihara started limping while screaming for help, Sugano easily caught up to him, Mihara turned around and saw Suagano pointing his gun at him laughing like a madman, "hahaha isn't this delicious Mihara the toughest guy in school cowering and bawling, you have no idea how long I've wanted to see you like this and now I'm going to kill just like I did to those two idiots" said Sugano as and he pulled the trigger...only to hear the gun clicking, indicating that he was out of bullets, this caused the cowering Mihara to regain his confidence.

"Oh out ammo, too bad, now I can burn you face right off" Mihara said as he lit his hands on fire ready to fight, but his moment was short lived when a new player entered the field."

"Oh sorry to be the one to disappoint you Mihara, but you won't burning anyone's face today or ever again." Both Sugano and and Mihara turned their heads in the direction of the voice and saw none other than Damian, Sugano looked relieved, while Mihara looked furious. "YOU YOU'RE THE GREEN HAIRED BASTARD WHO KILLED UENO!"

"First of all, my hair is Jaded green not regular green and second I didn't kill your friend, it was hammer hands over there" he said pointing at the dead bully behind him. "Whatever, you may have beaten me before but now I'm ready for you" said Mihara getting into a fighting stance. Damian gave Sugano a look that told him to let him handle it and he just nodded.

"Oh really, well then let tell you a little secret, I was holding back last time, if I had wanted to I could killed all four of you miserable fuckers if therre weren't so many people at the time, let me ask you something have you ever heard the saying 'Beauty is only skin deep' well right now you're only seeing the beauty."

"Oh really well then sorry for noticing, but couldn't tell the difference" mocked Mihara. "Why don't show me your your ugly side then." Damian chuckled at Mihara, oh he was so going to enjoy this.

"You know you should really be careful what you wish for Mihara, you just might just get here" said Damian as he morphed into Venom, horrifying both Mihara and Sugano at the reveal of Damian being the infamous Venom villain.

"Like we said you only saw the beauty side of us and with great pleasure we introduce you to the beast" said Venom as he charged at Mihara with great speed kicking him in the chin sending him up, but Venom quickly grabbed his ankle and brought him back down and proceeded to headbutt him viciously making his face bleed. Mihara tried to free himself from Venom's grasp by lighting his hands on fire trying to burn Venom.

Venom grunted in pain, but didn't let go. Thanks to all the heat resistance training he did with AFO, he was able to take the heat from his quirk, that and this guy was nothing compared to Endeavor. After beating Mihara up badly Venom brought him close of his face.

"P-please don't k-kill me please, I won't tell anyway that I saw and I'll leave Sugano alone, but please let me go." begged Mihara. Venom just laughed, "No we think killing you would be more fun, so that way we can guarantee you don't go blabbing to anyone who we are, so Mihara we'd say it's been nice knowing ya, but then we would be lying so...bye." said Venom as he devoured Mihara's head.

Venom turned towards Sugano who looked freaked out, Venom quickly changed back into Damian. "Y-you're the Venom villain from the news the one who's killed most of the heroes in Tokyo." Sugano said pointing a shaking finger at him.

"The one and only" said Damian, "sorry about not telling you who I really was Sugano, but I couldn't exactly risk telling you, anyway why did you call me earlier, you sounded pretty upset on the phone" Damian asked.

Sugano began to tell him what happened with his dad at home and how he ran into Mihara's group and how he killed two of them, after hearing this Damian was angry, he wanted to march over to Sugano's house and kill his bastard of a father, but Sugano asked him not to.

"Well the question now is, why are you going to do now Sugano, there is no way you go home now, considering that you nearly beat your dad to death with that gun of yours." said Damian.

"Tell me Damian, are you with the League of villains, I won't blab to anyway, but I just need to know because there're are rumors going around that you are" asked Sugano. "Yes I am, I have a goal and the league will be helping me to achieve it." responded Damian. Sugano was silent for a few seconds, then he looked at Damian in the eyes, "take me to them Damian, I want to join the League" said Sugano shocking Damian.

"Sugano are you sure about this? the league isn't something you can back out of if you change your mind." said Damian warning him, but Sugano was adamant. "I know, but I'm willing to risk it and this society has already deemed me a villain, so I want it to reap what they have sown" said Sugano with conviction.

"Alright then, I'll take you back to hideout so you can meet the boss, come on Sugano" said Damian.

"Actually Damian can you just call me Yuji now, I no longer want to answer to my "father's" maiden name, so I'm just Yuji now and my villain name will be Mustard." said the new villain "Alright then Yuji follow me" said Damian as he brought back the League's new member with him to his new life.
