A/N: Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

The silhouette of a man appeared in Mrs. Incredible's cell. He walked to the control panel and switched off the immobi-ray, approaching the woman. "There isn't much time," he told Mrs. Incredible, who dropped to her knees. It was Specter.

"No, there isn't," Mrs. Incredible said. Then suddenly, she lashed out, grabbing Specter around the throat. "There's no time at all."

Specter gasped out, the woman's grip stronger than he anticipated.

Mrs. Incredible continued, infuriated by his presence. "Why are you here? How can you possibly bring me lower" What more can you take away from me?"

"B-but… the f-family… survived the crash…," Specter managed between gasps. "They're here – on the island."

"They're alive?" Mrs. Incredible said, astounded. Overjoyed, she released Specter's death grip and instead threw her arms around him in a hug.

Mrs. Incredible opened her eyes after a moment and saw another man standing in the doorway. She smiled and cried out. "Harlan!"

Specter barely had a moment to register this new presence when Elastiguy's fist knocked right into his jaw, causing him to fall on the ground hard.

"Hey, he was helping me to escape," Bobbie said, trying to explain.

"No, that's what I was doing!" Harlan replied.

Bobbie ran over to him and gave him a hug. Harlan was reluctant to accept.

"Bobbie, this is not the time," Harlan said, rather annoyed.

"Oh, come on," she said, giving him her best puppy-dog eyes. "You know you're happy to see me." Then Bobbie thought of something else. "Where are the kids?"

Specter sat up and rubbed his sore jaw. "They might have triggered the alert," he told them. "Security's been sent to the jungle. You'd better get going."

Bobbie and Harlan headed for the door. "Now our kids are in danger," Harlan said, still upset by the whole situation.

"If you suspected danger, why'd you bring them?" Bobbie asked as she began to run.

"I didn't bring them," Harlan said, running right next to her. "They stowed away, and I don't think you're striking the proper tone here, missy!"
