There they sat
oh so ugly and fat
I could see clearly from the rooftop
One though so thin and lonely
Was being beaten by fat boy's crony
I could see clearly from the rooftop
The boy did not cry
but his body didn't lie
I could see it clearly from the rooftop
He was sent away
They called him freak and he would pay
I could hear from across the street
I saw the pain
when he was beaten with a cane
I could see it clearly from the garden
They hurt him badly
They were punishing him madly
I could see it clearly from the tree
They made him work out in the hot summer sun
he wasn't playing, or having fun
I could it clearly from the walk
Then he left for school
I didn't see him, I was a fool
I couldn't see him clearly from were I now stood
He came back
With his nap-sack
I could see him clearly from a car
he was crying for the first time
I wonder who committed the crime
I could clearly feel his sorrow from rooftop
They gave him his space
Pain was written on his face
I could clearly see him from the window
Oh wish I could speak
I could tell him he isn't a freak
He could see me from where he stood
'Oh little Raven I wish I could fly
Then all my sorrows could pass by,'
I heard him clearly from his bed post.
'Oh little Raven i wish had better life
one not so fill with strife,'
He said to me clearly from his chair.
'Why little Raven did he die,
I loved him, that is not a lie.'
I heard him clearly tell me.
He said it with sorrow
he sat down and waited for tomorrow.
I watched him from my spot.
'Tomorrow's my birthday
What a great woopy,'
He said sarcastically from his bed.
Tomorrow came
the day was fame
He could fell it
He laughed and shouted
he looked at me as I pouted
He saw my sorrow from his spot
He had become my friend
Right to very end
I knew it very well
'Come little Raven, travel with me
and together we will be free.'
He said with a love in his voice
And we left that place
he left with a smile on his face
I could see it clearly from his shoulder,
were I sat.
'I am just a little Raven
but I can love too
and you know what?
I lend my wings to you.'
