The Prophesized Queen
AN: Prologues! Glorious things they are. I'm going to have dates galore too. And second chapter titles. And a second story title. Eventually. Readers, will you help? Once this story is done, I'll choose one out of the titles that are suggested throughout the story.
I'd like to say that this is my first Narnia fic. Tell me how you like it. I'd much appreciate it.
R and R, readers!
Sincerely,
honestlyme

Prologue: Letters

In Ten Days or Less
June 27, 1951
Dear Professor Digory Kirke,
I have knowledge that you have been hosting four children during the present summer holiday. I hope that you would be able to also take in my granddaughter, Margaret. She is a very kind and respectable girl. I think you will have no problems with her.
Please, if this is at all possible, write me at the address on the envelope. I'd be extremely grateful if you can take her in.
Sincerely,
Miss Polly Plummer

Dear Miss Polly Plummer,
I will most certainly let your granddaughter Margaret come and spend her summer holiday at my home. I'm sure the other children will enjoy some company.
I must, however, ask how old Margaret is. The four that I am hosting, the Pevensie children, are all of varying ages. Peter, the eldest brother, is but 17, Susan is nearly 15, Edmund is 13, and the youngest, Lucy, is 11.
They are all quite at home here since this is their second time at my home. They visited last summer holiday. I'm sure Margaret will get along with them all quite fine at whatever age she is.
The Pevensies have had many grand adventures here; they are like my grandchildren and I very much love having them here since I have no grandchildren of my own.
Margaret is welcome at any time. I will expect her in ten days or less.
I have but one more question: Are you the Polly Plummer from London who lived next door to the Ketterleys all those years ago? I believe you are.
Sincerely,
Professor Digory Kirke
