Just Maybe

Veronica flopped down on her bed. Boy, what a day. For starters, she was now officially broken up with Leo. That had been the hardest part but she had to do it. Ignoring one tiny incident with Logan was one thing. But after the second, decidable longer indiscretion she knew she had to come clean. The sooner the better.
Leo had been so sweet about it. That had just made her feel worse. He even did her a favour strait after her confession. It was this that made her realise she'd done the right thing. He was too sweet, she didn't deserve him. And maybe, just maybe she didn't want him that much either.
Now, what to do about Logan? It was really him that had started thins whole mess. Although really, she had kissed him first, but that was beside the point. It was only a kiss on the cheek but that was enough to give him the green light. It was enough to let him know that she wasn't apposed to the idea of kissing him. She hadn't meant for him to get that idea but then again, it wasn't as if she tried to stop him.
Why hadn't she? They were supposed to be enemies (she didn't really know why but still). And why had she let it happen again? The answer was simple, it was staring her in the face. She had wanted him to kiss. It made sense. As much as she didn't want to admit it, she wanted it to happen again. The more she though about it the less it disgusted her. After only a few minutes she couldn't think of one reason why they shouldn't be together. Maybe they'd work, she thought, just maybe.
