First Pokemon

"Okay, kids. That's enough for today." said the Home Economics teacher, Mr Saguaro as the end of class bell rang. "Tomorrow we'll be going over Meal Powers. Have a nice day." Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny grabbed their notebooks and started to leave the classroom.

"I still can't imagine that a guy like him is a Home Ec. teacher." said Kyle.

"I know, Kyle. But he still knows what he's doing. I mean, do you remember that chocolate cake he made last week?" replied Stan.

"Seriously, dude. It was awesome." said Cartman as he remembered the culinary masterpiece he tasted last week.

"You can say that again." said Kenny.

"Maybe your mom can marry Mr Saguaro." Stan told Cartman.

"I'll definitely consider it." said Cartman.

"Do you guys want to go home for lunch, or go to the cafeteria?" asked Kyle.

"Let's go to the cafeteria. They just got a new recipe for spicy potato wedges." said Stan.

"Sweet. Let's go." said Cartman. The boys started to head towards the cafeteria. As they did, Stan was looking at his Rotom Phone.

"Whoa. Check out this post of a painting that Lincoln did in Art Class today." said Stan as he showed them a photo of Lincoln's Charizard painting.

"Man, Lincoln's good." said Kyle.

"Seriously." said Cartman.

"Speaking of Lincoln, let's see if he's at the cafeteria right now. He should be there considering the art room is near it." suggested Kenny.

"Good idea." said Stan as they continued walking. When they got close to the cafeteria, they see Nemona standing near the doors, looking down the hallway.

"Hey, Nemona." said Stan as he and his friends walked over to her. Nemona turns to look at them.

"Hey, guys." said Nemona with a concerned look on her face. Stan and his friends notice this.

"Is something wrong, Nemona?" asked Kyle.

"Lincoln just went to Mr. Clavell's office." replied Nemona. The boys looked surprised.

"Mr. Clavell's office? Why?" asked Kenny.

"I don't know. Mr. Clavell asked me to send Lincoln to him." said Nemona.

"Did he do something wrong?" asked Kyle.

"I don't think so. He doesn't get into trouble here." answered Nemona.

"What do you think Mr. Clavell wants with Lincoln?" asked Cartman.

"I don't know. Let's go and find out." said Stan. The five of them started to walk towards Mr. Clavell's office. As they went down the hall, they look ahead and see Lincoln looking at a pokeball with a smile on his face.

"Well there's Lincoln. He looks okay dudes." said Kyle.

"What's that pokeball he has in his hands?" asked Stan. The five watch as Lincoln tosses the pokeball and releases a Fuecoco. They were all surprised.

"Lincoln has a Pokemon?!" responded Cartman. They ran to where Lincoln was while he was pointing his Rotom Phone at it.

"Oyeeee, Lincoln!" Nemona calls out to Lincoln. Lincoln looks over to them. The five of them stop when they got to Lincoln and look at his Fuecoco.

"Dude! Is this Fuecoco yours?" asked Kyle.

"Yeah!" replied Lincoln.

"You got your first Pokemon?!" said Stan.

"You know it." said Lincoln.

"Aww, man. I wish we had Pokemon!" yelled Cartman.

"I think you might get them sooner than you think. Mr. Clavell wanted me to tell you four that he wanted to see you in his office. I think he's going to give you guys your first Pokemon." said Lincoln. Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny's eyes lit up with delight.

"Really?!" asked Stan.

"Yeah. So, you better hurry up. You know Mr. Clavell doesn't like to be kept waiting." said Lincoln.

"Come on, you, guys!" said Kenny as he, Stan, Kyle, and Cartman started to run to Mr. Clavell's office.

"Hurry, guys!" said Stan.

"Dudes. I hope we do get our first Pokemon." said Kyle.

"Seriously! That would be so cool!" said Cartman. They soon reached Mr. Clavell's office and knock on the door.

"Come in." says Mr. Clavell. The boys enter and see Mr. Clavell standing in front of his desk.

"LIncoln said you wanted to see us, Mr. Clavell?" asked Stan.

"Yes. I have something for you boys." said Mr. Clavell. He takes three pokeballs from his belt and tosses them, releasing a Fuecoco, a Sprigatito, and a Quaxly. The boys' eyes widen with surprise. "You see, I was suppose to give you each a Pokemon the day you all enrolled, but I had so many other things on my mind I just forgot."

"That's okay, Mr. Clavell. So are these Pokemon for us?" asked Kyle.

"Yes. Who wants to pick first?" asked Mr. Clavell.

"I want to pick first!" said Cartmas as he raised his hand and waved it.

"Very well, Eric. Pick your first Pokemon." said Mr. Clavell.

"Sweet!" said Cartman as he steps forward and looks the Pokemon over. After a few seconds, he made his decision. "I want to pick Fuecoco."

"A fine choice. Lincoln picked Fuecoco also." said Mr. Clavell.

"We know. We just saw Lincoln with one a minute ago." said Kyle. Cartman steps forward and pets Fuecoco.

"This is so cool!" said Cartman, barely able to contain his excitement. Mr. Clavell hands Cartman Fuecoco's pokeball.

"Now who wants to pick next?" asked Mr. Clavell.

"You go ahead, Kyle." said Stan.

"Thanks, dude." said Kyle as he steps forward. He looks at the two remaining Pokemon and makes his decision. "I want Sprigatito." Kyle walks over to Sprigatito and strokes its back, much to Sprigatito's delight.

"Very well." said Mr. Clavell as he hands Kyle Sprigatito's pokeball. Stan and Kenny look and notice that only one Pokemon remaining. They both look at each other.

"You go ahead and take Quaxly, Stan." said Kenny. Stan's eyes widen in surprise.

"Really, dude? What about you?" asked Stan.

"I'll be fine." said Kenny. With a little hesitation, Stan walks over to Quaxly.

"It looks like it's you and me, Quaxly." said Stan as Quaxly walks over to Stan and smiles. Mr. Clavell hands Stan Quaxly's pokeball. Stan looks over at Kenny who has a sad smile on his face. "Don't you have any Pokemon for Kenny, Mr. Clavell?"

"I'm sorry. I'm all out of Pokemon." said Mr. Clavell. Kyle thinks for a second before he comes up with something.

"Hey, Mr. Clavell. Do you think we can help Kenny catch a Pokemon in the wild? We can battle one for him and let him capture it." suggested Kyle.

"A fine idea. I'll give you some pokeballs to help you out." said Mr. Clavell as he goes to his desk and pulls out several pokeballs. He then walks over to the boys and gives each of the boys five of them. "And here's some potions in case your Pokemon need healing." Mr. Clavell hands each of the boys a couple of potions.

"Thanks, Mr. Clavell." said Kenny.

"I suggest heading south of Mesagoza to the South Province. You should be able to handle the Pokemon there with little difficulty. There are two Pokemon Centers in that area. One near Mesagoza's south gate, and one near a small neighborhood in the area called Las Platos." said Mr. Clavell.

"Thanks, Mr. Clavell." said Stan.

"Come on, Kenny. Let's get you a Pokemon." said Kyle. They then left Mr. Clavell and went to the academy's lobby where Stan's mom was at the desk working.

"Hi, boys. How are you?" asked Sharon.

"Awesome, Mom. We got our first Pokemon." said Stan.

"That's wonderful, Stan." said Sharon.

"Not quite. You see, Mr. Clavell didn't have enough for all of us. So Kenny still doesn't have one." said Kyle.

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that, Kenny." said Sharon.

"That's why we're going to help Kenny capture his first Pokemon. Mr. Clavell suggested a place just outside the city walls where we can find some Pokemon." said Stan.

"Well you boys be careful and make sure to have your Pokemon close by." said Sharon.

"We will. Thanks, Mom." said Stan.

"And because of Mr. Clavell's upcoming announcement, all your other classes for the rest of the day are cancelled. So you have a couple of hours to spare to catch Kenny a Pokemon." said Sharon.

"Okay." said Stan. The boys then left the building and were soon just outside the walls of Mesagoza in the South Province.

"So what now, Stan?" asked Kyle. Stan looks at his new Quaxly's pokeball.

"Let's let our Pokemon out and use our Rotom Phones to learn more about them." suggested Stan.

"Sweet!" said Cartman. Stan, Kyle, and Cartman each release their new Pokemon. Fuecoco, Sprigatito, and Quaxly stare at the boys with smiles on their faces. Stan takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at his new Quaxly.

"Quaxly, the Duckling Pokemon. This Pokemon migrated from distant lands long ago. The gel secreted by its feathers repels water and grime." said the Rotom Phone.

"Okay. My new Quaxly is a boy, he knows Pound, Growl, and Water Gun and it has the Torrent ability which powers up his water attacks when his stamina is low." said Stan.

"Cool." said Kyle. He then points his Rotom Phone at his new Sprigatito.

"Sprigatito, the Grass Cat Pokemon. Its fluffy fur is similar in composition to plants. This Pokemon frequently washes its face to keep it from drying out." said the Rotom Phone.

"Okay. My Sprigatito is also a dude, he knows Scratch, Tail Whip, and Leafage and it has the ability, Overgrow, which powers up his grass attacks when his stamina is low." said Kyle. Cartman then points his Rotom Phone at his new Fuecoco.

"Fuecoco, the Fire Croc Pokemon. It lies on warm rocks and uses the heat absorbed by its square-shaped scales to create fire energy." said the Rotom Phone.

"My Fuecoco is a boy also, he knows Tackle, Leer, and Ember and he has the Blaze ability. That powers up his fire attacks when his stamina is low." said Cartman.

"Okay, guys. Let's go help Kenny catch a Pokemon." said Stan. The others raise their fists and cheer in response. The four explored the South Province for a while, looking for a Pokemon to catch for Kenny. Kyle quickly found one that looked interesting enough.

"Hey, guys. Come over here." said Kyle. The others ran over to where Kyle was and saw a small brown Pokemon with an oval-shaped head with what looked like bones sticking out of the sides of it, no arms or hands, and round feet.

"What's this Pokemon?" asked Stan as he pulls out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.

"Wooper, the Poison Fish Pokemon. After losing a territorial struggle, Wooper began living on land. The Pokemon changed over time, developing a poisonous film to protect its body." said the Rotom Phone. Stan looks over at Kenny.

"What do you think, Kenny? You want this Pokemon?" asked Stan.

"What type of Pokemon is it?" asked Kenny. Stan looks at his Rotom Phone.

"This says it's part poison, part ground." answered Stan.

"A dual-type could come in handy." said Kenny.

"So you want this Pokemon?" asked Stan.

"I don't see why not. Let's catch it." said Kenny.

"It's part poison, so Sprigatito won't do much against it, and it's part ground also, so Fuecoco wouldn't be a good choice against it either. But Quaxly would be a great choice since water types are strong against ground types." said Kyle. Stan pulls Quaxly's pokeball out of his backpack.

"In that case, Quaxly, I choose you." said Stan, throwing Quaxly's pokeball and releasing him. The Wooper sees him and goes into a battle stance. "Looks like it wants to battle, Quaxly, so let's not disappoint it. Hit it with Water Gun." Quaxly opens his beak and shoots water out of it and it hits Wooper, hitting it and causing super effective damage to it. The Wooper opens its mouth and shoots out a ball of mud and it hits Quaxly. He had mud on him and it looked like it was weighing him down.

"That was Mud Shot. Careful, Stan, that move can lower a Pokemon's speed." said Kyle. The Wooper charges at Quaxly and rams him. "That was Tackle."

"Okay, now I definitely want this Wooper. It's tough." said Kenny.

"You heard him, Quaxly. Hit Wooper with one more Water Gun." said Stan. Quaxly fires another Water Gun at Wooper and it hits it, causing super effective damage. The Wooper falls to the ground.

"Now's your chance, Kenny." said Kyle. Kenny throws a pokeball that he was holding and it hits the Wooper. It gets sucked into the pokeball and it begins wiggling around for a couple of seconds until it stops and clicks. Kenny runs over to the pokeball and he picks it up.

"Yes! I have my own Pokemon." cheered Kenny.

"Congratulations, dude. Awesome work out there, Stan." said Kyle.

"Thanks." Stan and Kenny said in unison. Kenny takes out his Rotom Phone to learn more about his new Wooper.

"This says my Wooper is male, he knows Tail Whip, Mud Shot, and Tackle, and it has the Poison Point ability, which has a chance of poisoning a Pokemon that attacks him physically." said Kenny.

"So what are you going to do with your new Wooper, Kenny?" asked Kyle.

"I'm gonna go and train my Wooper to make him stronger." said Kenny.

"Good idea, dude." said Kyle.

"We should all train our Pokemon for a while. Maybe even catch some for our teams and collections." said Stan.

"Hey, yeah! Let's do it." said Cartman.

"Okay. We'll all go train our Pokemon and meet at the Pokemon Center in one hour." said Stan. The boys all agreed with Stan's idea. The boys all split up and went to train their Pokemon. With Kenny, he was having Wooper battle against Pokemon he knew he could handle such as some fairy-types in the area such as Azurills, Fidoughs, and Igglybuffs due to poison-types like Wooper also is, having an advantage against them. He also took the time to capture those Pokemon as well. After all that battling, Wooper learned the Poison Tail attack, which became a big help against fairy-types, along with the Hoppips in the area, due to grass-type Pokemon being weak against poison-type moves. He also caught a Hoppip for his collection. He also trained the Pokemon he caught just for fun. The Azurill, who was a girl, he caught already knew Tail Whip, Water Gun, Splash, and Helping Hand; but after the training, she learned Bubblebeam, and Charm. Fidough, who was a boy, already knew Tackle, Growl, and Lick; but after the training, he learned Tail Whip, and Covet. His Igglybuff, who was a girl, already knew Pound, Sing, and Copycat; but after the training, she learned Defense Curl, and Sweet Kiss. Hoppip, who was a boy, knew Tackle, Tail Whip, and Splash. After training, he learned Absorb, and Fairy Wind. A short while later, Kenny decided to go to the Pokemon Center to get his Pokemon treated and wait for his friends. Kyle was walking up a hill, training his Sprigatito by battling Lechonks, and even capturing one of them. The Lechonk he captured was male, he knew Tackle, Tail Whip, and Disarming Voice, and it had the Glutton ability, which makes him eat a berry when he loses half his stamina. His Sprigatito soon learned Bite. As Kyle traveled up the hill, he cames across a light gray, bird-like Pokemon with an orange head. Kyle takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.

"Fletchling, the Tiny Robin Pokemon. This Pokemon is normally calm, but once it enters battles, its hormonal balance changes and it becomes aggressive." said the Rotom Phone.

"This Pokemon will be cool to have on my team." said Kyle. He turns to Sprigatito. "Okay, Sprigatito, let's battle this Pokemon, but be on guard, it's part flying, so it will have an advantage over you." Sprigatito nods in response. The Fletchling spots them and hovers in the air and glares at them. "Okay, let's give your new Bite attack a try." Sprigatito leaps up at Fletchling and bites it. The Fletchling winces, due to Bite causing it to flinch. "Now use Scratch." Sprigatito leaps at Fletchling and scratches it in the chest. Fletchling falls to the ground and struggles to get up. Kyle takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at the Fletchling. It gets sucked into the pokeball and it wiggles around until it stops. Kyle picks up Fletchling's pokeball. "Cool. Fletchling is mine." He takes out his Rotom Phone to learn more about his new Fletchling. "Okay, Fletchling is a girl, she knows Growl and Peck and she has the Big Pecks ability, which prevents her defense from being lowered. Cool." He continued to train his Pokemon. Soon Sprigatito learned Hone Claws, Lechonk learned Echoed Voice and Fletchling learned Quick Attack and Ember. He soon encountered a Sunkern and he battled it with Fletchling. Kyle captured the Sunkern. He learned it was a girl, she knew Tackle and Growth and she had the Chlorophyll ability, which doubles her speed during very sunny days. After training, his Sunkern learned Absorb. After training his Pokemon for a while, Kyle went back down the hill to go to the Pokemon Center to heal his Pokemon. With Cartman, he was battling mainly bug-types such as Tarountulas and Scatterbugs. He also took the time to capture those Pokemon, along with a Buizel and train them. During the training, his Fuecoco learned Round; His Tarountula, who was a girl, already knew Tackle, String Shot, and Struggle Bug learned Assurance. His Scatterbug, who was a girl and already knew Tackle and String Shot, also learned Stun Spore. His Buizel, who was a boy and already knew Tackle and Growl, also learned Soak. As he walked by a small lake in the area, he notices something. A red fish-like Pokemon.

"What do we have here?" asked Cartman as he takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.

"Magikarp, the Fish Pokemon. An underpowered, pathetic Pokemon. It may jump high on rare occasions but never more than seven feet." said the Rotom Phone. Cartman was about to just disregard Magikarp and keep looking around, but he remembered something very important about Magikarps. They eventually become Gyaradoses.

"Oh, man. Having a Gyarados would be so cool!" said Cartman. Deciding that Magikarp would be worth having with him, he takes out Fuecoco's pokeball and lets him out. "Okay, Fuecoco. Use Round." Fuecoco releases a sound wave from his mouth which hits Magikarp and does damage. In response, Magikarp just splashes around. Deciding Fuecoco did enough damage, Cartman takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at Magikarp and hits it, sucking it in. The ball then wiggles a few times and clicks, indicating a successful capture. Cartman picks up his new Magikarp's pokeball and stares at it. "I can't wait for you to evolve. I'm going to train you extra hard to make that happen quickly." Cartman then takes out his Rotom Phone to learn more about his new Magikarp. "Okay, this says you're a boy, and all you know is Splash right now. Seriously; what kind of attack doesn't really do anything to your opponent? Anyway, this says you have the Swift Swim ability which increases your speed when it's raining." Cartman trains Magikarp by having him come out first in battles to get him some experience then switching him out for another one of his Pokemon. He also caught a Pichu and Skwovet as well. After realizing he was out of pokeballs, he decides to head back to the Pokemon Center. With Stan, he was training his Quaxly by battling against any Pokemon he could find, but trying to avoid Pawmis and Hoppips because Quaxly would be at a disadvantage against them. He mainly battled water-types such as Psyducks and Buizels with Quaxly's Pound attack. He caught them as well, along with a Lechonk, a Happiny, and a Ralts. During the training, his Quaxly learned Work Up, and Wing Attack which will come in handy against grass-types. His Buizel, who was a girl and knew Tackle and Growl, learned Soak. His Psyduck, who was a boy and already knew Scratch, Tail Whip, and Water Gun; learned Confusion and Fury Swipes. His Lechonk, who was a boy and already knew Tackle and Growl, learned Disarming Voice, and Echoed Voice. His Happiny, who was a girl and already knew Pound, Copycat, and Defense Curl; learned Sweet Kiss. And his Ralts, who was a girl and already knew Growl, Disarming Voice, and Confusion; also learned Hypnosis. Deciding to take a break, he goes to the Pokemon Center to heal his Pokemon. When he got close to the Pokemon Center, he saw that his friends were already there, sitting at an outside table. He gives his Pokemon to the nurse and joins his friends. They all went over their progess with each other.

"Man I can't wait for my Magikarp to become a Gyarados." said Cartman.

"So how are your Pokemon doing, Stan?" asked Kyle.

"They're doing great, but I don't feel like they suit me." said Stan.

"Just be patient dude. You'll find the Pokemon for you soon." said Kyle.

"Yeah." said Kenny. They soon heard an announcement saying that their Pokemon were healed. The boys collect their Pokemon and start heading further south towards a lighthouse. All of a sudden, four balls of light shoot out from behind some rocky terrain and land in front of them with loud crashes and sending dust flying.

"What the?!" exclaimed Stan as he and his friends shielded their eyes. After the dust cleared, they were surprised to see four red quadraped Pokemon with red, magenta, and purple plumes on their heads and rears standing in front of them. The boys stared at them with awe.

"Dude. These guys look so cool." said Kyle.

"What are they?" asked Kenny. Stan pulls out his Rotom Phone and points it at one of the Pokemon.

"Pokemon unknown. No available data." said the Rotom Phone.

"No data? Are they an undiscovered species of Pokemon?" asked Kyle.

"I don't know, but they do look pretty cool." said Stan.

"So what do we do with them?" asked Cartman.

"I don't know. We'll take a picture and show them to Professor Sada. Maybe she'll know something about them." said Kenny.

"You just want an excuse to see Professor Sada, Kenny." said Kyle.

"So what's your point?" replied Kenny. Stan takes out his Rotom Phone and uses it to take a picture of the new Pokemon. After that was done, he looks back at this friends.

"Come on guys. Let's just keep going." said Stan. As the boys continued going south, Kyle hears footsteps from behind them. He turns around and sees the four mysterious Pokemon following them.

"Guys. Those Pokemon are following us." said Kyle. The others turn to see that Kyle was right.

"Why are they following us?" asked Kenny.

"Maybe they want to join us?" suggested Kyle.

"Well they do look pretty cool." said Stan.

"Should we try capturing them?" asked Kenny.

"I think we have enough pokeballs to do it. said Cartman.

"Let's try it." said Stan. Each boy took a pokeball and threw them at the mysterious Pokemon. The balls hit them and sucked them in. The balls each wiggled one before they broke open and the Pokemon escaped.

"I guess they still have plenty of fight in them." said Kyle.

"We're all out of pokeballs." said Cartman.

"Too bad. We'll have to buy some more later when we get the chance. Well anyway, let's keep going. Maybe we'll find Pokemon that I can relate to and get along with and we can come back for them later once we get more pokeballs." said Stan. As they kept walking with the four mysterious Pokemon, they soon reach a lighthouse. They also notice that Lincoln, Nemona, and Arven are in front of it.

"Hey. It's Lincoln, Nemona, and Arven." said Kenny. Stan also notices something else.

"Umm, guys. There's another one of these Pokemon with them." said Stan. The others look to see that Stan was right and there was another of the mysterious Pokemon with Lincoln, Arven, and Nemona.

"What? Where did that one come from?" asked Cartman.

"I don't know. Let's go see." said Stan. They then walk over to the lighthouse. As they got closer, Lincoln turns his head towards them and his eyes widen. He then looks at Arven and points towards them. Arven looks over at the boys and his eyes widen in disbelief.

"What!?" exclaimed Arven. He, Lincoln, and Nemona ran over to them. "Where did you guys find these Koraidons?!"

"Koraidon? Is that what these Pokemon are called?" asked Cartman.

"Yeah." replied Arven.

"We were in the South Province catching Kenny his first Pokemon when these four glowing balls of light came out from the South, landed in front of us, and changes into these guys." explained Stan.

"Balls of light from the south?" replied Lincoln. He looks back to the south and saw that it was pretty close to the beach he found Koraidon.

"What's up, dude?" asked Kyle.

"After I gave this Koraidon a sandwich on the beach I found, he glowed for a while before he changes to his true form. While he was glowing, I saw four balls of light shoot out of him and flew north. Maybe the balls of light your Koraidons came from the one I found." explained Lincoln. Arven started to wobble a bit.

"I think I need to sit down." said Arven before he sat on the ground.

"I think this day just got a little more interesting." said Lincoln.
