The Bathtub
He took a paper clip out of his pocket and began to pick the lock to the apartment. When he got in he looked around to make sure no one was around. He walked down the hallway and heard bath water running. He stood in front of the bathroom door and smiled to himself. He raised his hand and slowly turned the handle to the door.
She was sitting in the bathtub with her headphones on and the water still running so she couldn't hear him walk in. Her eyes were closed and she was swaying back and forth to the music. She had a smile on her face that made him smile.
He walked over to the tub and shut the water off. She still didn't notice him. He began to take off his clothes slowly. As he took each piece off he laid it neatly on the sink. He then walked over to the tub and since it was a double wide he stepped in still assumingly undetected. He laid down next to her with his feet beside her shoulder and his head by her feet.
Without opening her eyes she smiled and said in a gentle voice "I thought you'd never come".
He smiled and said, "I will always be here for you Olivia".
She opened her eyes and took the headphones off and put the walk man on the floor next to the bath. He smiled and put his hand on her ankle. He slid it slowly up to her knee and then her thigh. She lifted the knee of her other leg slowly out of the water and he leaned forward and kissed it. They smiled at each other and she leaned towards him and kissed him tenderly on the lips.
She thought, "This is the best kiss I have ever had and I never want it to end".
As they separated she smiled and said, "I love you Elliot"
He looked into her deep brown eyes and her into his piercing blue eyes.
He smiled back and said, "I love you too Olivia"
She sat up and turned her body to be on top of his. They kissed slowly and thought, "They will never forget the night they had in The Bathtub".
