A/N: I'm doing a Christmas chapter despite it being the middle of fall. I had all the chapters kind of planned out so I know what to write next, but I've been writing these faster than I planned so this chapter is a bit early considering it's October (End of November when I'm posting, oops).

I'm honestly not a huge Christmas person, I prefer Halloween but I wanted to do this chapter to give y'all a feel for the timeline so far. (I also feel like Sakura is the type of girl to love Christmas)

Anyways, Mariah is defrosting and I had to honor her with this lil chapter (hence the title). Enjoy!

Sakura was currently home alone, curled up on the couch with a fuzzy blanket wrapped around her shoulders, and it was Christmas.

It couldn't be helped, Kiba was given an urgent mission a couple weeks ago and he wasn't due to be back for another few days. As a fellow shinobi, Sakura understood that he had to leave. However, as his girlfriend, she couldn't help but feel lonely in his absence.

Sakura tried to keep her mind off of the fact that she was by herself for the holiday, all day she's been watching Christmas movies and eating sweets to feel better. It was to no avail, the movies just reminded her how alone she was and the sweet food was making her tummy hurt. Truth be told, the only thing that could make her feel better is if Kiba and Akamaru walked through the door right now.

Sakura let out a sigh and turned off the movie that was currently playing. She couldn't handle it anymore, seeing happy families and couples together on Christmas was just too much for her right now. The pinkette stood to her feet and walked to Kiba's record player. Maybe some Christmas music would make her feel better.

Sakura put on a random song, the slow, melodic music filled the room and warmed her soul. Something about Christmas music made her feel nostalgic, like she was a kid again. A small smile crossed her lips and she, admittedly, felt a bit better.

Sakura neared the window and pulled back the curtains as the music played in the background. It was about 7:00pm so it was already dark outside. The ground was covered in a blanket of beautiful, fluffy snow. The view she had from the apartment allowed her to see all the homes and buildings covered in lights and decorations. It was a gorgeous night, she just wished she had someone to spend it with.

Sakura admired the view for a few moments longer before closing the curtains and walking back to her seat on the couch. She curled up in her blanket and slowly fell asleep to the soft music.

Kiba and Akamaru walked through the familiar gates of Konoha. Their muscles were horribly sore from the journey but Kiba had been determined to get back home for the holiday. He refused to let Sakura spend tonight alone. So despite the aching pains in his legs, he carried on.

"Almost home, Akamaru." Kiba grinned at his companion. The canine looked to him with a tired, yet happy expression.

Kiba glanced around the village and admired the bright, festive decorations. It was snowing, setting the perfect atmosphere for a Christmas night. The air felt bitter on his cheeks and nose, encouraging him to pick up his pace. Within a few more minutes, he could see his apartment.

"She's gonna love her present." Kiba smirked and Akamaru barked in agreement. The duo made their way towards the apartment complex and climbed the stairs. They neared the door and Kiba dug his keys from his pocket. He unlocked the door and opened it, entering the warm apartment with Akamaru right behind him.

Kiba let out a sigh of relief as the heat returned to his body and the smell of Sakura filled his nose. He immediately began to scan the apartment as he closed the door. He could hear the sound of music playing from the living room. Kiba didn't even bother removing his shoes or coat, he tracked snow across the floor as he searched for the pinkette. The dog nin quickly located her, peacefully sleeping on the couch.

Kiba couldn't help but smile at Sakura's sleeping form. He silently approached the beautiful, serene woman and kneeled down beside her. He admired every detail of her face, from her smooth skin to her plump, rosy lips. Kiba brushed her pink locks behind her ear with a gentle hand and he leaned in to whisper to her.

"Sakura..." Kiba uttered in a husky voice.

The sound immediately woke Sakura from her slumber. She was half awake when she felt a man's large, rough hand in her hair and his breath on the shell of her ear. In an instant, Sakura panicked and pushed away the unknown man and sent a hard punch into his face. She had recognized him as Kiba at the last second, unable to stop herself. The dumbfounded look on his face would be ingrained in her memory forever.

Kiba was sent flying across the room from the impact of Sakura's fist to his jaw. He howled in pain as his body landed on the floor with a hard thud. The pinkette jumped to her feet and didn't know whether to be angry or apologetic as she watched the dog nin sit up with a groan, holding his jaw.

"What the fuck Sakura?!" Kiba cursed in pain, leering at the kunoichi in disbelief. Sakura decided then, that she was angry. Rage spread throughout her body and she glared daggers into the shinobi on the floor.

"What do you mean, 'What the fuck'? I should be the one saying that to you!" Sakura seethed. "What are you doing, sneaking up on me while I'm sleeping?"

"I didn't sneak up on you!" Kiba argued with furrowed brows. Pain shot through his face as he moved his jaw to speak, making him even more upset. "I tried to wake you up gently, Sakura. How am I supposed to know that you'd go crazy and break my fucking jaw?"

"I'm not crazy!" Sakura spat out in anger. "I couldn't even see your face, I wasn't expecting you or anyone here for days! Don't get mad at me for being cautious!"

"Yeah, y-yeah." Kiba attempted to speak but the ache in his jaw was unbearable. Sakura didn't miss the pained grimace that crossed his features. Her demeanor softened when she saw this. A small sigh escaped her lips as she approached the dog nin. Sakura dropped down to her knees beside Kiba on the floor and placed a hand over his.

"Let me see." Sakura muttered with a frown. Even though she was mad, she hated seeing Kiba in pain. Kiba looked to the pinkette reluctantly, but moved his hand nonetheless so she could examine his jaw.

Sakura scanned over his face, noticing that he was already becoming swollen due to the broken bone. The pinkette brushed her fingers along his jaw, causing Kiba to wince in pain and jerk away from her, muttering a curse under his breath.

"You have to sit still!" Sakura scolded, earning a glare from the dog nin. She roughly grabbed him by the base of his neck and pulled him to her, forcefully angling Kiba how she pleased so she could heal him properly. He tried to pull away but Sakura tightened her grip. "Just let me heal you!"

Kiba rolled his eyes but relaxed into her hands. Sakura carefully examined his profile and took a breath before raising a hand to his face once again. She placed her fingers on his chin, trailing to his broken jaw. Kiba's lips formed a straight line and his brows furrowed, a pained grunt erupting from his throat, but he stayed still as Sakura positioned her hand over the fracture.

The pinkette concentrated as she allowed chakra to flow to her fingers. Kiba felt the cool, intense chakra entering his body, the feeling nearly made him wince. But soon, the intensity became soothing and Kiba felt relief wash over him. The dog nin turned his head to face Sakura.

"Stop moving!" Sakura said agitatedly, giving Kiba a stern look. "I'm almost done."

"Sorry," Kiba gave a small smirk as his eyes trailed Sakura's features. She was so damn beautiful all the time. It didn't matter if she was happy, or angry, or focused like she is now, she always looked perfect.

Kiba's gaze traveled up and down Sakura's kneeling form, admiring everything from her pink tresses to her thick, toned thighs. However, the thing that really caught his eye was her nipples, rock hard from the cold air and straining against her white tank top. God, this girl would be the death of him.

Kiba couldn't help himself, he let one of his calloused hands find its way to Sakura's thigh, trailing up to her hip and waist. Her breath hitched but she continued healing the dog nin. Kiba's hand traveled up further until he was cupping her modest breast.

"Kiba..." Sakura breathed out in a tone that Kiba couldn't decide was warning or pleasured. He continued to gently fondle her through her shirt as Sakura finished healing his jaw. Kiba thumbed her sensitive bud and watched as the pinkette bit down on her lip.

Once Kiba felt Sakura's chakra cease, he turned to face her fully, grabbing her by the waist and pulling her flush against him. He immediately claimed her mouth with his own, feverishly licking and nibbling at her lips. Sakura's hands tangled into Kiba's brown locks as she kissed him back with just as much passion. He grabbed her hips and laid her down so that she was laying flat on her back. Their hands roamed each other's bodies, Sakura quickly worked to remove Kiba's outerwear.

"Wait," Kiba chuckled against her lips, letting a hand caress Sakura's cheek as he sat up, breaking away from the pinkette. Confusion graced Sakura's features and Kiba smirked at her. He stood to his feet and grabbed Sakura's hand, helping her stand as well. "Stay here, I have something for you."

Sakura said nothing but did as she was told. She watched as Kiba walked out of the living room and back towards the front door. She could hear him rustling around in his travel bag for an unknown item. The rustling stopped and Kiba walked back to the living room with a small gift bag. He had a proud grin on his face as he neared the pinkette, extending the bag towards her.

"Merry Christmas." Kiba spoke softly.

"I thought we weren't doing presents this year, Kiba! I didn't get you anything." Sakura said with a pout.

"I know, I know, but when I saw this, I knew you had to have it." Kiba's smile grew wider as he spoke. He could tell that the pinkette still felt guilty for not having a gift in return but he encouraged her to open his present. "Come on Sakura, open it, please!"

Sakura's eyes trailed over Kiba's face before she looked down to the gift bag. She grabbed the bag from his hand and pulled out the tissue paper that was covering the gift. In the bag, she found a velvet, black box. Sakura picked up the box and opened it, a small gasp escaping her lips.

Inside the box was a beautiful necklace. It had a delicate silver chain with a small, pear shaped emerald pendant. The emerald was surrounded by a diamond halo that made the green jewel stand out even more. It was perfect.

"Kiba..." Sakura was damn near speechless at the gift.

"I saw it when I was on my mission." Kiba spoke, grabbing the box from Sakura's hand. He removed the necklace from the box and unclipped the clasp. Sakura watched his actions and turned around so her back was facing the shinobi. Kiba placed the necklace around her neck and clasped the metal together. He placed a hand on her shoulder and spun her back around to face him. The emerald looked immaculate against her creamy skin, and it matched her eyes perfectly. A smile crossed Kiba's lips. "I knew you'd look gorgeous in it."

Sakura smiled and tears welled up in her eyes. All she wanted was to spend Christmas with someone she loved, and Kiba made it happen. He went above and beyond to make the holiday special for her.

"Thank you, Kiba." Sakura spoke, pulling the dog nin into a warm embrace. "I love it, and I love you."

"I love you too, princess." Kiba smirked, placing a kiss on top of Sakura's pink head. He held her tight against him, enjoying the way her body molded against his. He was happy to be home for Christmas.

A/N: Sorry for the slow uploads, I've been insanely busy with school, an internship, and my regular job so I've been writing whenever I can. I'm hoping that in the next few weeks I'll be able to speed this up.

Thank you for reading!
