Author's note: Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I am thankful for all who take the time to read my stories and learn life lessons out of them! :)

Alongside Princess Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca, R2-D2, and C-3PO, Luke, Ezra, Spectre Seven, and Ahsoka are taking part in a mission to infiltrate Cymoon 1.

To do so, the rebel team hijacked the ship of an emissary sent by Jabba the Hutt to negotiate a weapons deal at Weapons Factory Alpha, with Solo as its replacement and Organa, Skywalker, Bridger, Tano, and Seventh disguised as his bodyguards.

Once inside the facility, they revealed themselves as rebels, took their escorts down and made their way to the central power station. While Leia, Han, Ezra, Ahsoka, Seventh, and R2-D2 rigged the place to destroy it.

Luke watched for additional Imperial troops, using his strong knowledge in the Force to reach out and sense any nearby presence. However, he was drawn to caged slaves, whom he proceeded to free, and guided them to a rendezvous with Han and Leia. They were alerted of Vader's arrival by Ezra, Ahsoka, and Seventh.

Ahsoka sensed a disturbance. Ahsoka spoke to Luke through their bond, "Luke, be careful!"

Luke knew his purpose, which was to avenge his father and Ben by defeating Vader. He was determined to do it to serve the Alliance and protect his masters.

Vader walked out of the Imperial shuttle, sensing multiple presences in the force. "The apprentice lives..."

He sensed another, "and... he's here... the rebel pilot that destroyed the Death Star. He will not escape me again..."

Eventually, Luke and Vader run into each other in a hallway in the facility.

When Luke saw Vader, both his brows lowered. He was starting to let his emotions control him. The anger, the hate he had for this machine is profound. With his masters' training he will do what he must to complete his biggest mission.

"Who are you?" Vader demanded Luke.

"You killed my father!" Luke yelled.

"I've killed many fathers. You'll have to be more specific." Vader replied.

Luke swung his light-saber at Vader and their sabers clashed. Luke was able to use his strength while clashing against the powerful Sith Lord. When Vader started his attack, Luke was able to hold his own by using agility and force jump in order to avoid Vader's strong swings.

Thanks to Ezra's lessons on defense and Spectre Seven's circuit exercises, Luke was holding his own.

Vader was surprised by the young man's abilities, "Impressive.. most impressive."

However, Vader's sheer power eventually got the best of Luke. Vader ended up destroying Luke's light-saber, making Luke fall to the ground.

"Perhaps I was wrong..." Vader said to Luke as he raised his saber.

"It wouldn't be the first time..." Ahsoka said while standing behind Vader, with Seventh and Ezra right behind her.

"I sensed that you would be here. Our long awaited meeting has come at last..." Vader said to Ahsoka, disregarding Seventh's and Ezra's presences.

"I am glad I gave you something to look forward to..." Ahsoka confidently replied.

Vader turned off his light-saber, much to the surprise of Seventh and Ezra.

"We need not be adversaries. The Emperor will show you mercy... if you tell me where the force user that destroyed the Death Star is..."

"I will never tell you that..." Ahsoka firmly replied.

Vader looks at Luke, "Perhaps this young man will confess what you have not..."

Ahsoka frowned, "I once thought I knew who you were behind that mask, but it's impossible. My master can never be as vile as you!"

Vader scoffed, "Anakin Skywalker was weak.. I destroyed him..."

Even though Luke already knew Vader killed his father, he was angered that this machine dared say it again.

Ahsoka knew what she wanted to do. "Then I will avenge his death..."

"Revenge is not the Jedi way..." Vader replied.

Ahsoka smirked, "I am no Jedi..." Ahsoka and Vader ignited their light-sabers, while Seventh and Ezra did after.

"Spectre Seven and Ezra I need you to get Luke out of here!" Ahsoka commanded as Vader slowly approached.

"No! We won't leave you!" Ezra yelled fervently.

"Ezra... remember what I taught you..." Ahsoka replied.

Ezra then remembers her voice back at the World between Worlds, "Ezra.. you have to learn to let go..."

Ezra had a severe look of hesitation while Ahsoka and Vader dueled, but Seventh confirmed their fates, "Ezra... she wants us to protect Luke..." Ezra took a second, but finally nodded.

"Luke! Follow us!" Seventh pleaded.

"No! ... but Ahsoka!" Luke pleaded

"I'm sorry Luke, but we have to go!" Ezra said while grabbing Luke by the arm.

Everybody except for Ahsoka is now on the Millennium Falcon, barely escaping the facility. Ezra, Seventh, and Luke are sitting at the checker table on the ship. It was dead silent.

Luke decided to speak, "Why did you guys not help her out?! The two people closest to my father are both probably dead..."

"Luke... what Ahsoka did is the same sacrifice you told us Obi Wan did for you. We will always be here for you..." Seventh replied. She gently placed her hand on his shoulder.

Ezra added, "Look sometimes people drift apart Luke... and I don't want that to happen to us... okay? I know me and Spectre Seven don't do what you need us to do or say what you want us to say like Ahsoka but... we sense this spark in you, it's amazing... it's why we push you... but it's yours... whatever the force will guide you through with it you will be great..."

Luke was reflecting on what Ezra and Seventh had to say.

He is grateful to have two of his masters still with him. All three ended up embracing one another.
