1Darkened HopeWritten by Allen Moeness
Darkened skies set out from the west as the sun came down; the castle walls sleep soundly as do the ground. My weapon beside me still has life as the weary cold approaches the castle, I see it, I feel it, I look at it and smile as if it is not there, it comes slowly and sane as if nothing were to be wrong, as they approach we get ready, they out number us, but we have no fear, my weapon warms, for the troubles ahead and my fingers awake, we fear nothing for there is noting to fear but the fear of dying without honor and glory, with our master beside us hope appears and the good of all comes for it is the reason we fight.
Open war has been going on through out the lands and has been going on for centuries and has continued until now; someone has to stop all this evil before it kills everyone and takes a hold of every sole. The darkness has come through our lands and destroyed all that is good. The kingdom is in riot continuously, for there is no freedom in these lands and lots of crime.
One cold winter night, silence was all over the Kingdom, 3 men hanging by there necks for the previous day; they tried to assassinate the King. Dogs' barking faintly as a dark figure treads through the snow. Suddenly the figure stops moving; but then looks up and stares at the men hanging by there necks. All of a sudden fly's a sword and quickly cuts through the ropes in a heartbeat. The sound of dogs barking draws near and fast. The figure picks up the man that was tied to the ropes and vanishes almost instantly. The guards and the dog's approach where the figure just was; once they approached where the men were hanging they saw that one man was missing, and foot prints in the snow that lead nowhere. The Captain of the guards whispers to himself: "…it's her". The snow kept on falling throughout the night and all falls quiet.
