The Rangers raced towards Clare, Nick helping her up as they all stared at the gate. "I'm sorry Rangers." Clare apologizes weakly as she leaned on Nick.

"It's not your fault Clare." Maddie assured.

"Yeah." China placed a hand on her shoulder. "It's ok."

"Look! Up at the gate!" Xander pointed upwards. A gargoyle jumps off the gate, flying down and attacking the Rangers.

"Get up." Koragg ordered, grabbing Clare by her arm.

"Let her go!" Nick shouted.

"Clare!" Maddie cried, as Koragg yanks Clare away.

"You won't get away this time." Koragg threatened, he looks at the Rangers. "And the gargoyle of the gates will take care of you."

"Wait!" Nick raced towards Koragg, who knocks him back.

"Nick!" China cried as they ran over to him, they watch as Koragg laughs evilly and disappears with Clare. "Clare!"

The Rangers ran over to the dark magic seal but at too late and the gargoyle tries to stop them. "Look out!" Nick yells, just before the gargoyle blasts them. The Rangers jump out of the way and form their Titan forms. "Alright, phase 2!" Nick said as they formed the Titan Megazord. "Mystic Spell Seal!"

Just before they're about to send the seal at the gargoyle, the beast suddenly appears behind them and attacks. The Rangers tried again with their saber, but the gargoyle appears in a different spot before hitting them, throwing them back and hitting the doors of the gate, cracking it open. "Hello, Rangers!" Morticon sticks his sword out, pushing more of the gate open.

"Morticon!" Chip gasped.

"No!" Nick cried.

"Your Megazord cracked the gate enough for me slip through!" Morticon said as his hands pushes through the crack.

"What?" Vida asked in shock.

"I can't believe it!" Xander added.

"Now, your whole world will know my crushing power!" Morticon screamed at the Rangers. "Yes, the time has come. The destruction of the surface world is at hand!"

"Uh oh." China said as the Rangers were surrounded, the gate and the gargoyle.

"I've done it!" Morticon bellowed in triumph. "I'm free!" He used his sword and slashes the Rangers, causing them to fall backwards.

"Oh no, he's out!" Xander exclaimed.

"What now?" Vida asked.

"We have to fight him?" Chip asked.

"Looks like we don't have a choice." Nick said. "Come on guys!"

They began to fight Moritcon.

Inside of Rootcore, the crystal ball showed what was happening. Keesha stood by the Xenotome, flipping through the pages as she tried to find a way to help the Rangers. "There has to be something in here."

Suddenly a rip appears in the middle of the room and an African American man appears, startling Keesha for a split second.

"Culpepper!" She breathed.

"Keesha." He smiled as he approached. "I went looking for you in your world, but couldn't find you. Silvermist said you lost your magic when broke the seal to come back to the Mystics."

"This is my home too. Is is my daughter's world, along with the Human World."

"Which is why I've come. Morticon escaped and now."-

"And now he's here." Keesha said with worry, flipping another page from the Xenotome. "In the Human World, we gotta stop him."

Culpepper walks over to the table to see the Rangers in battle with Morticon. "What's happened to Udonna?"

"She was captured to lure the Gatekeeper out." Keesha answered, looking at him. "Because Clare is now the Gatekeeper and the Rangers refused to give the enemy what they wanted."

"So the enemy forced the Ranger's hand." Culpepper looked back at the crystal ball. "But the Rangers are stronger." He looks at Keesha. "Keesha."-

"Calandor sealed the portal to my world!" She cut in. "He's the reason why my child, Daggeron's child, grew without up without either of us."

"I know what happened. I was there, remember?"

Keesha looks back at the thick book in front of her. "My husband is gone because of that betrayer." Her voice shook. "China could've been a sister by now."

In the city, Morticon still battled the Rangers.

"Let's take it to the sky!" Nick shouted, and a set of wings came out of the Megazord's back.

"Spirits of the Ancient Titans!" The Rangers shout.

"Come on!" Morticon taunted.

"Titans attack!" The powers hit Morticon, but he deflected the power easily.

"Is that the beast you got?" Morticon asked.

"Hardly!" Nick retorted.

Morticon pulls out his sword and embedded it with his dark energy. "Now you'll see what true power feels like. Dark Magic Strike!" He slashes his magic at the Megazord, forcing the Rangers to eject and force dimorph as they fall.

The Rangers landed hard on the ground. "He's even stronger then before." Chip said wincing.

"Ow,ow,ow." China whimpered as she leaned against Xander.

"You ok?" He asked.

"I think so." She nods. "You?"

"I'll survive."

"He's got more dark magic energy then before." Maddie said, referring to Morticon.

"How are we suppose to fight him?" Xander asked. "We don't have that kind of power."

Suddenly more dark clouds hid the city in shadows. "What's going on?" Nick asked.

"Now what?" Vida asked.

"I don't like the look of that." Chip said.

"Destroy it! Destroy it all!" Morticon demanded the gargoyle, who started to attack the city.

"Is it really how it's going to end?" Maddie asked.

"No." Nick said, pushing himself up. "This is not how it ends. Udonna said we are the protectors of the city. And that's what we're gonna do."

"Right Nick!" Xander said as the Rangers stand back up. "MAGICAL SOURCE, MYSTIC FORCE!" They quickly transformed and called on their Titan Modes, forming the dragon and attacking the gargoyle.

"Now it's my turn." Nick pulls out his morpher, flipping it open. "MAGICAL SOURCE, MYSTIC FORCE!"

At Rootcore, both Keesha and Culpepper watch Nick through the crystal ball before he disappears, then they watch the others Rangers.

"What happened?" Keesha asked in concern. "Where did Nick go?"

"Koragg must have Udonna and Clare somewhere." Culepper answered with a guess.

"I hope Clare is alright." Keesha said with worry.

In the city, a beam of light appeared through the clouds. "What's that?" Morticon asked as he saw the light and hit the front of the gate, the gate began to lower itself. "What's happening?" Morticon demands as the ground shakes.

Outside Rootcore, the dragon opened as Culpepper ran out just as an unconscious Clare magically appeared, lying on the ground.

"Clare." He knelt down next to her.

"Is she ok?!" Keesha asked in concern as she rushed out of Rootcore.

"She's alright." Culpepper nods. "After everything that's happened, she'll be alright." He stands up. "I should go, Morticon's now gone. We have to be prepared for who's coming next." He pulls out a whip and unrolls it.

"But the Rangers will want to meet you." Keesha frowned as he slices a hole in the air. He turns around.

"They will. Another time. I need to report my findings." He turns and walks into the rip, disappearing and the rip closes behind him.

Snow started to lightly fall around Clare. Keesha turned to see Udonna standing by a tree.

"Udonna!" She smiled.

"Keesha, hello my good friend." Udonna smiled and the two hugged as the Rangers walked up behind Udonna. The white Sorceress turns to Clare. "Wake up, child."

Clare slowly awoke, finding herself back in front of Rootcore, her vision blurred as her eyes landed on Nick. "Nick?"

Nick helped her up. "It's all over Clare." He told her as she leaned heavily on him, still feeling weak. "You did good."

She smiled. "Really?" Her eyes then landed on Udonna. "Udonna!" She beamed. "You're alive!"

"A little frozen around around the edges, but yes, I'm alive."

"Morticon's gone, Clare." Nick told her.

"For good." Xander added.

"Yeah, Udonna was able to channel her power into her snow staff to help us." Vida added.

"But we couldn't have done it without you Clare." Maddie added.

"You saved all of us, Clare." China smiled.

"You sealed the forces of evil back into the depths." Chip said cheerfully. "You're like, a super Sorceress!"

"Yeah, I guess I am." Clare said, making them all laugh. She then looked down at her mother's item, bending down she picked it up. "But." She stood back up and looked at her aunt. "That was my mother's power. And now it's all gone."

"Niella would be proud of you today." Udonna told her with a smile. "And so am I."

Clare smiled through tears.

Later. Udonna and Keesha happily talked while inside Rootcore.

"Udonna! Udonna!" Clare excitedly runs over to them. "I did it!" She cheerfully beamed, the Rangers walked into the room to see what was going on.

"What is it, Clare?" Udonna asked.

"I finally perfected my vanishing spell." Clare smiled brightly.

"That's great Clare." China smiled.

"Watch!" Clare moved her hand in front of herself, but instead - only her upper body disappeared. "Uh, ok, um, maybe not perfected." She added as the Rangers laughed. Clare turns to walk away.

"Clare, be careful to not run into things." China warns, just as Clare does so.

"Ohh, so much like her mother." Keesha giggled.

"That she is." Udonna smiled.

Keesha turns to her. "Remember when Niella accidentally turned herself into a dog, and she head butted Daggeron?"

"I remember that." Udonna smiled softly.
