Out of My Dreams

A Yuna/Tidus Story

Note to readers: I do not own Final Fantasy X characters. They all belong to Square Enix.

Chapter 1: Introduction

Everything was so quiet near the shores of the lake. The night has drawn near and the villagers have stumble into their sleep. The only inhabitants that manage to roam the night were two small children sitting near the pond and their parents watching them from a small distance.

A girl put a hair clip of a blue-green dyed butterfly in her hair as she stare into the night sky.

"It's a pretty night, right Yunie?" said an energetic girl with blonde hair tied up into two ponytails to the side of her head.

"Yeah, the stars sure are glowing brightly" said the girl with dark brown hair with a clip holding back her left hair strand.

Yuna was only seven. She was the innocent type and naïve. She was a special child to her parents because she was sweet and caring in nature. The child next to Yuna was Rikku.

Rikku was her cousin. Both children would always hang out with each other when their parents were busy. Hence, Rikku was like Yuna's best friend and only friend that she could trust.

"Why do you have to leave?" said the curious blond girl.

"I don't know, my father said that it's important" said the bi-colored eye girl.

"I wish we had another round of hide and seek, so then I can beat you."

"That's because you're small…..don't worry I'll be back."

"You, promise?"

"Promise!" cried Yuna and she took her hair clip out of her hair and clasped it into Rikku's small hands.

"Isn't that your favorite?"

"Yes, but you can keep it to remember me by."

"Don't worry I'll remember you" as the Al-Bhed girl grasp the butterfly clip. Feeling sorry, Yuna grab her cousin by the shoulder and hugged her and then she walked home to her house near the lake.

"Bye…Yunie" Rikku whispered as she watched her cousin walk home.

The next day all the villagers were chatting and some were in shock to see that the only house near the lake had disappeared without a trace. No clues were left to know where the homeowners were or where their daughter was. It seems as though they had vanish.

Standing amongst the crowd, little girl had tears in her eyes as she watches the empty spot near the lake. Still remembering last night, she held on to the butterfly clip as a symbol for her dear cousin.

Well, this is my first story on fanfiction anyway. Please Review! I'm about to start college soon and this story will not be updated until december or so. I still HAVE NOT finish the game yet. So.. u may think why I'm writing this story anyway. Just to imporve on my writing that's all. (Sayonara!)
