Description:
Whirlwind never had an easy life. Dragons and unicorns, historically, did not get along very well, as unicorns saw dragons as sky-hogging jerks, and dragons saw unicorns as pretentious, haughty snobs obsessed with beauty. Even despite this, a dragon and unicorn found love in each other, and despite the disdain each race held towards the other, they bore none of that themselves, and eventually had a child they named Whirlwind. Unfortunately, Whirlwind had far from an easy childhood as a result of her unique ancestry. When she tried to play with dragons, they grumbled about her horn and were quite envious that her dragon genes had done nothing to mar her unicorn beauty. She was subjected to unfriendly whispers and not being chosen for games and sports. Emotionally devastated by her crippling loneliness, Whirlwind sought some form of solace, and found it in massive thunderstorms. It was here she learned to harness her ability to command storms, and turn rainbows into powerful weapons. In her absence, though, Trolls began to hunt for unicorn tails and dragon scales for their plans, using the natural magic within them to help power their weapons. Regardless of how they treated her, Whirlwind refused to let the innocent suffer. When the trolls least expected it, she unleashed her power, creating a giant rainbow singularity that annihilated their tanks and mechs, reducing them to scrap metal and sending them packing. Trolls came to fear the coming of storm clouds, and the dragons and unicorns saw that in spite of them mistreating her, she was still the first to stand up to defend them. This made her a hero amongst them and started the building of strong relations between the two races, with the Dragon King Ramses even personally recommending her to become a Skylander under Master Eon, becoming one of the original 32. While she failed to defend her home in the end, that hasn't stopped her from continuing to fight against the forces of evil for the sake of the innocent that cower before them.
Whirlwind's personality as tempestuous as her old powers. She can be serene in one moment and blindingly furious in the next, sometimes for no reason at times. A life of loneliness has also left her with crippling fear of abandonment and loneliness: her greatest fear is to be left alone again, a fear greatly exacerbated by the loss of Skylands. This results in her being standoffish even to her friends and vicious to those who harm those she loves. This rage can lead her to be very destructive, not at all helped by the weather manipulation ability she wields. That being said, Whirlwind is a pure-hearted girl, and also loyal and sweet to her friends. While emotionally volatile, she is still very open-minded and kind-hearted, and due to her past of ostracization, prefers to regard people by who they are, not what they are, which led her to be friends with Boomer despite him being a Troll. This easily makes her one of the most open to the idea of rehabilitation of her enemies.
As a Robot Master, Whirlwind has a number of powers due to a small weather control device within her systems, helped by her years of experience as a Skylander. She can fly using her wings and speed her flight with brief gusts of wind or turn her wing "feathers" into electric swords by charging them with lightning. Her weather powers also allow her to generate fog to blind opponents, though her greatest strengths lie in offensive capabilities. She can launch thunderbolts out of her hands similar to Elec Man, create concentrated blizzards to freeze opponents, send wind currents to toss opponents around, and launch explosive rainbow balls out of her horn.
Special Weapon: Rainbow Thunder
Whirlwind's weapon is quite powerful, and effectively combines her Rainbow of Doom with her Tempest Cloud. This sends out a thundercloud that, while released, sends out small shots of ball lightning to electrocute enemies and stun their systems. With the second push of a button, she can make these clouds erupt into several rainbow energy grenades that explode on contact. These are lobbed in multiple arcs forward, thus allowing her to deal lots of damage to enemies in front of her. Whirlwind can personally send up to 3 clouds at once, and uniquely with her, she can also generate streams of lightning between the clouds, giving her some added defensive capabilities.
When used by someone with a Copy Chip, they take on a cyan and orange color scheme, reflecting her rainbow color scheme. While they can't summon 3 clouds at a time, a single cloud is still nothing to sneeze at, able to break walls meant for weapons like Crash Bomb and Hard Knuckle while also being able to stun enemies.

Author's Note
So yeah. That's Whirlwind, the aerial/weather Robot Master, and quite powerful as a result. If you're curious on inspirations for the Rainbow Thunder, one of them was Raoul's NetNavi ThunderMan, specifically his take in Mega Man Battle Network 4: Red Sun, with some beats from Hyper Bomb (arcing path), Spark Shock (paralytic electric weapon), Drill Bomb (needs a second button press to be detonated). As for the Skylanders side, the "Tempest Dragon" path was the main inspiration, especially the "Tempest Matrix" upgrade, with some bits of her Series 2 Wow Pow "Cloudbursting" as some additional flavoring.
