It's obvious now. Those feelings we have hid all along. We were drifting to sea with somebody we knew wasn't right, but now we're reeling each other in. We can see it in our eyes, there is no need to slice ourselves open and spill out all of our guts and secrets. We can see everything we ever need…or want…to know in each other's eyes.

Look at her. What's not to love? The way her hips sway simultaneously with her feet as she walks away from me; the way her eyes show softness and sadness when every other part of her body is yelling or punching me. I know every punch he throws, every word she screams…doesn't mean a thing.

"I love you." She whines.

"I know." I respond.

"Then why did you do this?" She holds up a tabloid. Natasha, my assistant, on the cover, I'm in her arms, kissing her.

"Tabloids lie Jude. You know that." I hold her hand. She sniffles.

"But it looks so real!" She drops the tabloid, falling into my embrace.

"I know girl, but it's not." I kiss her hair…kiss her temple…kiss her lips.

"I love you." I whisper.

"I know." She responds.
