Title:
Quiet Girl
Word Count: 174
Notes:
Inspired by Langston Hughes's poem, "Quiet Girl." I wrote
Naminé's part first, but then flipped it around to fit with
the poem quotes. I kinda think it worked better that way.

Spoilers: Well, most people should know
of Naminé by now, right?
Kairi remembers growing up on a small cheerful island, running around the small cheerful beach, dreaming of adventure on a small cheerful raft, playing with her fellow small cheerful friends. Little Kairi spent most of her time as part of an inseparable trio, without a care in the world, thoughts far from the home she doesn't remember. Whenever she could, she would look to the stars, to fill her heart with something more than empty memories.
I would liken you
To a night without
stars
Were it not for your eyes.
Naminé remembers most of her time in a large white room, sitting atop a large white chair, at a large white table, drawing with her what few colours she had within a large white book. Little Naminé spent most of her time by herself, constantly drawing to keep herself from thinking of the home she left. Whenever she could, she would sing, to fill her empty room with something more than white.
I would liken you
To a sleep without
dreams
Were it not for your songs.
