It was a normal night at Avengers tower, but when Nat had said goodnight to Wanda, she seemed a bit off, it was probably because her brother wasn't there at the tower, as he was having a boys night out with Peter and Matt, but she didn't press and went to bed. But in the middle of the night, Nat was awoken to a tug at her shoulder, and she turned around to see it was Wanda, her eyes filled with tears. Nat invited her onto the bed, and Nat just held Wanda close as she quietly wept. After Wanda was able to calm down, Nat walked Wanda back to her room, but she as she was about to leave Wanda said,

"Could you uhhh…" while gesturing to a children's book on her bedside table, and Nat had figured out that Wanda wanted Nat to read the book to her, and she obliged, and after getting through a couple of pages Nat looked over to see Wanda sleeping peacefully, when she heard the front door open, and saw that the boys had come back to the tower, and after everyone was settled, Nat took Pietro aside to talk to him in private, and she told him about what had just happened and why Wanda wanted Nat to read the book to her and Pietro replied,

"We had that book as children and whenever one of us would have nightmares as kids our parents would read it to us, and when the bombings and HYDRA happened we thought we had lost it along with everything else, but Wanda found it online and ordered it, and sometimes when I comfort her after a nightmare and vice versa we read the book to each other, it makes us feel safe, and at home. And thank you for taking care of Wanda and I, i-it really means a lot."

"No problem, and you should probably get some sleep."
