Charlie stood on the a field in her black gi. She recognized the spot by the destroyed remains. It was the spot of their last battle with Godzilla and Gidorah in Boston. "How'd I get here," she said to herself.
" I brought you, here," a familiar voice said making her turn around
"Who or what are you?" Charlie said shocked to see a grey floating head. "What's going on why have you brought me here," Charlie asked.
"I am Zordon," Zordon said.
"Ok? Why am i here?" Charlie asked.
"Bad things are coming Charlie. storms of evil like you've never seen things that you've never seen before and you must be ready. Because youve chosen redemption you will face a hard path and a path that will question the future you and the rangers," Zordon said.
"Effect the future? What do you mean? What's going to happen?," Charlie asked. Her mind began to rush through all that had transpired just months earlier and wondered would she be ready to face those types of obstacles again.
"You will know when the time comes," Zordon said.
Charlie shot up from her pillow her face soaked with sweat. "The fuck ," she said to herself. She then looked over at the alarm clock by her bed and saw the time "Six thirty ," Charlie said getting up.
"Good morning," Kori said as Charlie entered followed by Morgana. Charlie was dressed in a black tank top with red sequined stars on it and a pair of red skinny jeans and black sneakers.
Kori was dressed in who was dressed in a light blue Hollister t-shirt with orange letters down the right side and khaki shorts and sandals.
"Morning ," Mack said as he came into the Gotengo's galley in his skinny jeans and red colored DC shirt and his black shades on his shirt. His outfit was rounded out by his DC shoes.
"Good morning people," Carter said coming in . He was dressed in a red short sleeved Black Label shirt with military emblems and dark blue jeans. and black boots.
"Ready for today?," Carter asked as the other rangers took a bit of their food.
"Ready ? why?" Charlie said her mouth of waffle .
"I thought we could some training" Carter said.
"Ugh waffles," Morgana said getting a stern look from Carter. "Ok I'm going," she said
-The Dino Lab-
The dark abandoned Dino Lab in Reefside suited the nature of its new owner. The dank smell of oil and rust. Yes the dark macabre nature of this place with its rusted out machines would be the nightmare of most children. But to the twisted mind of Drakkon it was a delightful wonderland.
"Curse those rangers," Drakkon said. "They took my old powers, then used them for the selves," he said talking to no one in particular. "They must be stopped but how," he said seeing Kira Ford, the Dino Thunder yellow ranger walk into the make shift throne area, she was dressed in a all red dress looking like a Chinese pirate "You have your new powers My lord!" Kira said, Drakkon looked at her " Yes of course, Connor get your ass in here" he boomed, and Connor the Dino Thunder red ranger came running into the room. He was dressed in a purple Mexican Mariachi band uniform.
" How may I serve you lord," Clnnor said kneeling.
"Let's go and get those Rangers, I want their heads," Drakkon commanded. Drakkon grabbed his green jacket, he was dressed in what looked like a green English nobleman.
"It shall be done," Connor said.
The Gotengo
Morgana stood waiting on the top deck until she saw Charlie coming over to her . "Hey what took you" Morgana said.
Just as Charlie was about to respond an explosion happened on the coast a few feet away from the them. The Dino Thunder trio stood waiting. " Come out and face me rangers," Connor bellowed.
"Oh great duty calls," Charlie said slightly annoyed.
"Yep." Morgana said with a wink.
Pensacola
"So these are the mighty Power Rangers" Kira said
"Well Dont waste time cut to the good part," Connor said.
"Lets Ranger up!"
"Dra Dra Dragon! TI Ti Tiger!," the rangers transforming into there ranger forms.
"Tiger axe!" Morgana said calling her axe. "Siberian slash" she yelled making the axe glow silver before cutting through them. However it missed the three Dino hinder Rangers, who proceed to morph into their Dino Thunder ranger forms, red yellow and black.
Connor lunched Kira into the air allowing her to use hes enhanced agility to remain in the air in a high arching flip. She slashed into Morgana with her daggers before landing. Connor then struck Morgana with his Tyranno staff knocking Morgana back.
Meanwhile Charlie was barley holding Drakkon at bay . He then fired a blast from his staff knocking Charlie both to the ground and knocking Charlie's spear from her hands. Drakkon then began to close in on Charlie. As he charged his sword Charlie braced for impact. However something got Drakkon's attention. Looking out towards the ocean the group spied what looked like a flickering blue light on the horizon.
"What is that?" Asked Kira
"No idea." Replied Connor
The lights flared and this time they did not fade. The waters began churning in a line directly at the shore
"Oh shit! Hurry! Get us out of here!" Drakkon said. The Dino Thunder rangers retreated.
The churning ocean gave way to three massive pairs of maple leaf shaped spines slicing through the water and rising higher and higher.
"Holy shit!" Charlie said.
Up at the front of the spines were two glowing blue dots which, from a frontal view on the part of those on shore could not be mistaken for anything other than what they were. A massive head rose out of the water and roared loudly before its jaws snapped shut against the waves with those glowing blue eyes flashing brightly and illuminating the way ahead.
"Run!" Screamed dozens of people at once.
Alarms began blaring throughout the city. But more importantly they began blaring within the Apex facility as an evacuation order was given.
The tourists around Mack panicked and followed the tour guide to the nearest exist. Godzilla stood up out of the water and unleashed a powerful roar which made the entire ocean around him tremble and shook the ground.
He stomped forward through the water before feeling the sting of half a dozen missiles striking his chest, courtesy of military aircraft deployed from the Gotengo against him.
One plane flew just a tad too close and was unceremoniously swatted out of the sky by Godzilla's massive claw.
Godzilla's tail slammed into the water and the blue light he was so known for began rising up from the spines on the tip of his tail to his head and eyes. His jaws opened, and a massive stream of pure radiation seared the air and eliminated the existence of everything in its path. This included several buildings, all of the planes sicked against him, and dozens of blocks worth of streets and housing.
"The Hell is that?" Morgana said,
" Quick we have to get back to the Gotengo" Charlie said, the Rangers retreated.
Godzilla's roar snapped him out of his stupor and he dashed back through the hallways to find a way out of the death trap which had become the Apex Facility.
Godzilla glanced around at the town of Pensacola and snarled. Godzilla's spines and eyes lit once more and his jaws slowly opened.
Godzilla let fly with his atomic breath into the heart of Pensacola incinerating dozens upon dozens of blocks of housing, commercial buildings, and the rest of what was once the Apex Facility. With half of Pensacola now turned to a sea of flames, Godzilla huffed a breath and returned to the sea.
Both teams of Rangers had barely made it out before Godzilla's wrath flattened the city. But looking back at Godzilla's disappearing spines in the ocean.
