A week had passed since the incident on Lightspeed Island and things were strangely calm inside the Gotengo. The ship had landed in the ocean nearby Skull Island. Carter had apologised to Charlie eased up on Charlie which had the side effect of creating an uneasy tension between the pair. Taylor was still cold towards other team members, opting to ignore any direct confrontation. From Charlie's side she was still snarky towards the team but now there almost no malice behind her words. During a discussion over lunch the previous day, Morgana had discovered that sarcasm was just her default method of communication. The pair also felt like the attempt to build a bridge between her and Charlie had some effect on her attitude.
That morning Morgana was returning from eating breakfast alone. Her jacket was trailing behind her when she entered her quarters and automatically she threw it towards her bed. Seconds later a cry of indignation reached her ears, "Hey watch where you're throwing your stuff", Alex snorted. Morgana rolled her eyes, it wouldn't be the first time her roommate had complained about her messy habits, "Although it won't be my problem after today", the former white ranger added.
Morgana finally began to pay attention to Alex and noticed that her stuff had been piled into crates. Her half of the room was completely empty, "Something you need to tell me?" the silver ranger asked cautiously.
"New room assignments", the brunette said. Now Morgana was beginning to feel worried. When quarter assignments weren't an issue. Now since Alex was moving, that could only mean one person was joining Morgana in her room.
The silver ranger's assumption was proved correct moments later when Charlie entered the room. She had a large khaki bag slung over one shoulder and her leather jacket over the other one, "Sup Alex, Morgy", the dark haired woman greeted them in turn, "looks like we get to be roomies Morgsy", she continued, "no wild parties unless I'm invited and if you want some alone time, leave a sock on the door or something".
Alex sniggered at the crassness of their team mate, she turned to Morgana and said, "If you have any problems, I'm just down the hall".
"I think Morgsy and I will get on just fine", Charlie beamed and threw an arm across Morgana's shoulder. Alex snorted and turned on her heel, leaving the new roommates to get better acquainted.
"Are you transmitting this live?" the woman asks.
The team nod their heads in unison.
"Well then listen People of Earth!. My name is Captain Mutiny, I will conquer Earth And nobody will be able to stop me!" the pirate monster laughs horrifically.
After that the ship got an alert that a small dock city on Skull Island was being attacked. Grace then gets onto the P.A, system of e Gotengo to talk to its crew.
"Calm down everyone we can handle this" Grace says.
"Yea we can." Charlie says. She and Morgana head to the Skull Island port city to help out.
The rangers fully morphed jump over some Swabies. Charlie kicks the first one but then 3 more appeared behind her and tried attacking her but She managed to block the assault. Morgana came to help her and slammed two of the Swabies heads together. Charlie and Morgana then work together and start using the swings as ways to get momentum for attack. Knocking back the last of Swabies.
Captain mutiny has the Swabies retreat as his ship lands on the back of the Titanisuar the creature roars as it breaches the surface. It slightly resembles Godzila.
As they rangers watched the giant kaiju stomp towards the city, Charlie felt her communicator go off. "Guys im sending you the zords,"
"We have zords?," Morgana said.
"Trust me We got this," Charlie said. Then the sky grew black and parted as thunder roared as the bottom of the Gotengo opened up and a golden dragon kinda like the Red thunder zord dropped out. The stern of the Gotengo opened and purple tiger zord jumped out.
"Showtime!" Morgana said as she and Charlie leapt into the zord's cockpits. " Ok let dance" Charlie said. They went to combine but found they couldn't
"Form the megazord" Charlie said.
" Don't you think I'm trying " Morgana shot back
Suddenly both zords were struck with a energy blast from Titanisuar
" Fucking great killed by bootleg Godzilla " Morgana said
Suddenly Kong punched the Titanisuar knocking it back.
" I'm sorry Charlie " Morgana said, " I'm still new to this I'm probably doing so wing wrong "
" I'm sorry too " Charlie said " We're a team together we're unstoppable.
Suddenly both zords began to glow, the tiger zord stood up on its hind legs and the tiger head moved down onto its chest forming a headless version of the white tigerzord warrior mode. The dragon's tail disconnected and its lower half and back legs formed some legels whiles its front half formed the arms, it stood up like the tiger zord, its chest was hallow and resembled a cage kinda, the chest and tight armour opened. Suddenly the tiger zord leapt into opening and the chest and thigh armour closed around it, the the head appeared out of the tiger zord, the dragon zords head came down and formed the rest of the megazord's head by acting as the helmet and visor. Charlie and Morgana looked around their new cockpits and new megazord.
" Wasn't expecting that" Morgana said.
" Likewise " Charlie answered.
Titanisuar roared and fired again, Kong dodged, while the legacy megazord used its claw weapon on its left arm to block the attack, it then summoned its sword.
Titanisuar charged the megazord, with the Megazord getting several glancing blows before knocking the Kaiju back, Kong left at this point. " Lets can this bitch!" Charlie said the megazord charged up its sword, which the tail of the dragon zord. Titanisuar roared as the megazord struck it slicing through its neck and the ship on its back. The megazord turned around as the head of the Titanisuar slowly slide off its body, the body then fell backwards and exploded.
The megazord disengaged and the zords and Rangers headed back to the Gotnego.
Kong watched the Rangers leave, something seemed familiar about Kong. In the way light struck him you could have sworn his skin was metallic.
