A New Ending
"Yeah, we're at city hall now. We're just waiting for Masters to show up." Sam says on her phone as she waits with Tucker in the crowd.
"Good, don't be shy to video-record either." Danny says on the other end.
"Dude, how did you even know Vlad was going to call a town meeting today?" Tucker asks.
"Because the cheese head likes to boast. Look, you'll understand in a bit. I need to get ready."
"By the way, how's it going with that alien demon girl?" Tucker asks. "We haven't heard from you in a while." Tucker says, sending a judgmental look at Sam.
"Yeah, about that. That's kinda why I want you guys at the meeting. Gotta go."
"Hold on Danny wait!" Sam says. "Is, uh, Mako or whatever her name is with you?"
"No, why?" Danny asks.
"Well…" Sam takes a deep breath. "…I want to apologize for how I acted the other day." Sam says truthfully. "I was…out of line. The truth is, I wanted Lita to dump you. I know this isn't an excuse but I…"
"You like me." Danny finishes.
Sam blinks surprised.
"You knew?"
"I just found a piece of information that caused me to think about a few things." Danny says thinking of the alternate future he saw where he and Sam become a couple and how they were originally intended to be together. "Looking back now it should have been obvious. I'm sorry for never seeing it before."
"It's ok." Sam says. "I should have just told you. But you were so hung up on Paulina, then Valarie. And when we were younger I used to try and drop hints that I was interested in you but you never picked up on them."
"Yeah, I was pretty clueless…" Danny says feeling a little ashamed of how he must have been unintentionally making Sam feel. "Listen Sam. I care about you, I least have and I always will. You're one of my best friends and we've always had each other's backs. You're smart and you're cool and honestly, if I hadn't gone to Japan I probably would have been open to dating you."
"But you found Mako."
"It's not just that. Think about it Sam, what do we really have in common? I mean you've always been into fellow goths, aside from being half ghost how is that me?" Danny asks.
Sam can't answer that.
"I always felt you were one of the only two people who actually understood me." Sam says. "And the other guy is a meat obsessed techno geek."
"Hey!" Tucker protests.
"Besides, you like some goth stuff I've shown you."
"I never hated it Sam, but I mostly just tolerated it because I know you like it." Danny admits. "Be honest Sam, were you ever interested in hearing me talk about NASA?"
"No…" Sam admits.
"I'm sorry Sam, you're a great girl and I know there's someone out there for you. But it's not me."
Sam isn't happy hearing this, but she accepts his reasoning.
"Yeah. Ok. I get it. I…I'm happy you've found someone."
"Thank you, Sam."
Sam lets out a dry laugh.
"It's funny, there's actually this guy who always attends my protests who has asked me out a few times but I've always turned him down. We're both vegetarians and animal rights activists. He's not a goth but he is still interested in unique creepy stuff."
"Well then maybe say 'yes' next time."
"Maybe I will." Sam says smiling. "Oh, Vlads walking to the microphone now. Gotta go."
She hangs up and watches Vlad Masters anxiously as he walks up to the podium with an evil grin on his face.

Last Night
The Mayors Manor
Vlad Masters is tapping impatiently at his keyboard for his computer. It's supposed to link to the satellite he sent to Saturn but it lost contact hours ago. He was about to head to the ghost zone with some new ghost hunting tech he's developed to pilfer the Infi-Map from Frostbite in the Far Frozen, but instead he's wondering where his key to conquering the ghost zone went.
"Come in, Maddie-Hologram, where's the satellite!" Vlad shakes his computer in irritation. "I don't believe this! How does one loose a while satellite?"
Vlad hears a tap at the window and his eyes widen. He sees a girl who can't be older than wearing a warrior helmet with horns and tiger stripes. She is also wearing a cape, wrist bands, a bra, skirt and go-go boots who are all tiger striped as well. But the strangest thing is that she is floating in mid air. The girl touches the window and releases an electric shock. The glass shatters and Maddie the Cat (who had been previously sleeping on Vlads desk, screams and runs out of the room. Now Vlad recognizes her, it's that alien demon girl who he saw on those news reports from Japan. Lum, he recalled.
Lum flies into the room and she drops two small objects at Vlad's feet. His eyes widen in shock as he recognizes them as his satellite and as the asteroid it was analyzing, shrunken to the size of small toys.
"Korera wa anata no monoda to omoimasu." (これらはあなたのものだと思います。)
"I'm sorry I don't speak Japanese." Vlad says.
"Ichi-byō!" (一秒！)
Lum presses a button on her helmet and a singing sound is heard.
"Sorry, I forgot to turn on my translator. I studied Japanese, not English. I said 'I believe these are yours.'" Lum says. "I traced the satellite's signal to this location and it was analyzing that funny looking rock."
'Funny looking rock?' Vlad thinks then grins. 'She doesn't know ectoranium properties! She probably doesn't even have ghosts on her planet! I can use this!'
"Ah yes, I just sent my satellite to explore the solar system and I just thought I would have it check Saturn out. I've seen you on TV. Your name is Lum, correct?"
"Yeah, that's me."
"I just saw your game end, your device was destroyed by that delinquent ghost Danny Phantom and then you finally got that boy to sort-of confess to you."
Lum gives a sad sigh.
"Yeah, but it's not enough. He took it back as soon as the cameras were off, I think he was just trying to look good to Japan. After that he ran off with some red-haired American girl."
"Ah, Jasmine Fenton?"
"Yes, I think that was her name."
Vlad fakes sympathy.
"I know exactly how you feel my dear. Her father stole the love of my life as well. Fentons cannot be trusted, they are a blight on this planet.
Lum turns furious.
"Phantom-San ruined everything! I want to exact vengeance on him! Unfortunately, I don't know how to even catch someone who can phase through objects. Everything I hit him with just goes right through him.
Now at this point, Vlad should have remembered seeing Lum face Danny on the first day of the tag race. But his ambitions, hunger for power and revenge overrode his memory.
"Actually I believe we can help each other out, my dear."
Vlad transforms into his ghost self and flies up to Lum. Who appears to be shocked.
"What are you?" Lum asks.
"You see my dear little alien, I am what is called a half-ghost."
Vlad turns invisible, creates a forcefield, multiplies himself to surround Lum before merging back into one and phases in and out of the floor just for show.
"I possess powers far beyond that of a mere human or even that of a regular ghost. I have all the connections and tools that are necessary for dealing with ghosts and I have plenty of experience beating the stuffing out of Danielle."
"So you would be willing to catch him for me?" Lum asks. "I can keep him as a slave for the mines and force him to fight in a galactic arena!" Lum says evilly.
"Under one condition." Vlad says. "I've done some research on you Miss Invader. You came to earth originally to conquer it for your empire, correct?"
"We share the planet with two other subspecies, we wanted to expand a bit." Lum says. "But I lost the game of tag."
"Bah! Why should such an advanced race as yourself have to decide against the right to conquer based on a children's game? And what was it all for? So the one who beat you could rip out your heart?"
"Yeah. I guess you're right." Lum says.
"Well here's the deal." Vlad says. "If you conquer the earth and give it to me, I will catch Daniel for you. Oh, and you also have to restore the asteroid to its normal size for me. For…research purposes."
"Why don't I just take your tech and use it myself?" Lum asks.
Vlad laughs.
"You could try."
Vlad flies into Lum, overshadowing her. He controls her body and forces her to smack herself around the room before Vlad forces her towards the ground. He phases out of her as Lum hits the carpet.
Lum gets back up looking mad and tries to shoot her lightning at Vlad. He just creates a ecto shield that blocks it. Then he turns intangible/invisible and lets the lightning to through him unharmed. Lum stops and looks around to try and find him. Vlad turns visible again and grabs her wrist, he charges the other hand with energy and hits Lum in the chest with it. She flies into the wall and before she can react Vlad grabs her arms and holds them apart, creating a ecto barrier around her as she struggles. She tries releasing electricity but it does nothing.
"You got lucky in the first round but ultimately you proved to be no match for Daniel. Daniel's only ever gotten luck or help to beat me." Vlad releases her. "With the world under my control he will have no place to run. And don't you dare try to betray me or I will you. So, do we have a deal?" Vlad says, extending his hand out to Lum.
Lum reluctantly shakes it.
"I will have my parents come back with the fleet."
…
Present
Vlad couldn't be more excited, he had the News cameras broadcasting his speech to the world. In a few moments he was going to become the supreme ruler of the earth, then he would use the ectoranium meteorite to conquer the ghost zone. And once he delivered Daniel to the naive alien girl, providing the added bonus of him getting his revenge, he would take Maddie as his queen and make Jack Fenton his court jester, if he's lucky! And once he's garnered the trust of the aliens for a while he will use his control of the ghost zone, the soon-to-be-stolen Infi-Map and the forces of earth to wage war on Lums home planet and then go on to conquer the galaxy! He approached the podium, gazed at all the eyes and cameras focused on him. He clears his throat and begins to speak. His ultimate destiny begins now!
"Citizens of Amity Park, no, the earth. I have news that will impact the entire world. How many of you have heard the rumors of the mushrooms that started spreading across the east?"
A few people in the audience raise their hands. Sam pulls out her phone again.
"Danny, what's going on?" Sam asks.
"Don't worry it's fine….is your translator on this time?"
"What?"
"Sorry, I wasn't talking to you. Your recording right?"
"On it dude." Tucker says with his camera.
"Maybe some of you have even heard about the arrival of aliens in Japan? Challenging a teenager to a game of tag to save the world?" Vlad asks.
Just about everyone laughs. Vlad lets out a dry chuckle as well.
"Laugh as you wish, but last night I made contact with the alien race known as the Oni."
Vlad gestures to the sky, and it turns dark and cloudy. Lightning strikes and blue portals open up. Hundreds of flying saucers with river stripes descend followed by a much larger mother ship.
…
Inside the Oni mothership.
"Look I said I'm sorry, but Jariten asked me to go along with it." The young oni's mother pleads to her sister, Lums mother, who is still mad. "Besides, it all worked out don't you think?"
"Let's just get this over with." Says Lums father as he presses a button.
…
Down on the ground everyone is screaming and running in panic at the sight of actual aliens descending from the heavens. Vlad tries ordering everyone to be quiet, but no one listens. Some take pictures on their phones, others smash store windows thinking it's the end of the world. Sam and Tucker gaze up at the sky in horror.
"Danny, what have you done?" Sam asks.
The mothership then releases a very loud alarm and it silences everyone from panicking. The ships even create a barrier that keeps everyone from leaving the area.
A hatch opens up from the mothership and Lum descends to the ground below.
Across Amity Park, those watching have a mixture of emotions.

Casper High
"Great Scott!" Mr. Lancer screams. "Aliens are real!"
"And they dress very provocatively." Ms. Tetslaff says disapprovingly.
"How old is she? If she's under eighteen you shouldn't be watching this." Principal Ishiyama says, noticing Lancer looking a little longer at Lum then he should.

Paulina's House
"I can't believe it! Aliens! Actual aliens!" Shouts Star.
"I heard rumors about aliens in Japan from my grandmother but I never thought it was real!" Shouts Kwan.
"Super hot alien aside, this is probably bad but I'm sure Danny Phantom will save us." Says Dash.
"You bet it's bad!" Shouts Paulina, her eyes glaring daggers at Lum. "I can't have her sticking around. She's almost as hot as I am."

At various places across Amity Park
Mikey, along with virtually every other nerd, throws away their pictures of Paulina while eagerly watching their screens to learn more about this green haired girl who was not only way hotter but also an alien go boot!

"We gotta get to town hall!" Jeremy shouts. "Sammy-Kins is there!"
"We can't! Dang aliens have blocked the streets!" Grandma Ida shouts looking outside.
"Ok relax! Relax!" Pam tells herself. "Maybe the mayor negotiated peace, that's why he's made this announcement? Right?"

Foley Residence
"Oh no, Tucker went there with his friend Sam!" Angela shouts worriedly.
"Relax, maybe Tucker can avoid being seen long enough to get home." Maurice says on the verge of a panic attack. "All he has to do is resist the urge to stare at the attractive hand-dressed girl. Or avoid trying to get close to the advanced alien tech…oh who am I kidding our sons gonna die!"

Town Hall
"Oh my god she's even hotter in person!" Tucker shouts. His camera focusing on Lum, or rather a specific part of her body
"Please, she's half dressed." Sam scoffs. "And we have more important things to worry about. Like the fact that an alien race that was able to give Danny a hard time is now working with Vlad!"
She smacks Tucker's head, seeing where his camera is pointed, and Tucker zooms it out so it records Vlad too again.
"Yes, this is Lum Invader from the planet Oniboshi." Vlad says. "Now, this next part you should find even more surprising."
Vlad floats up in the air next to Lum and takes his ghost form. Everybody watching on TV and in the crowd gasps.
"Yes, though I use my human half to walk among you, it is obvious that I am a far superior creature." Vlad gloats.
"Who are you?" Shelly Makamoto, one of the news reporters, ask's.
Though she already knew of Vlad Plasmius she was still asking for those watching the broadcast.
"Though the world has come to know me as Vlad Masters billionaire mayor of Amity Park, I prefer you call me by my chosen slightly more evil name…Vlad Plasmius."
"Ok seriously, why even keep the first name? You just look bluer as a ghost?" Lum asks him.
"Quiet you. Do you have my crown?"
Lum presses a button on her wrist. The mother ship uses its tractor beam to float a golden imperial crown with a "V" engraved on the front floats down and places itself on top of Vlad's grinning head.
"You see, me and Ms. Invader here have a common enemy. Danny Phantom, the ghost boy who's been your little backwater towns hero yet because of a few misunderstandings and my own convincing lies most of you have painted as a villain." Vlad laughs. "And in exchange for delivering him to her later she shall use her armies to conquer this world!"
Everyone gasps.
"No!" Sam shouts.
"But, as your benevolent future ruler I shall give you an ultimatum. Either the nations of the world unanimously agree to pay me five hundred billion dollars and sign over rulership to me within the next day, I WON'T have an invasion of advanced space aliens FORCE you too. It's your choice, be destroyed and have me as your ruler or you can all live, under my rule. I eagerly await your decision."
"Oh yeah, about that." Lum says.
Lum looks to her left and Danny Phantom becomes visible next to her. He is wearing a hazmat suit that only reveals his face through a thick layer of glass. Everyone, especially Vlad, is completely surprised.
"Hey froot-loop." Danny says.
"What? But my ghost sense didn't-"
"Like my new suit?" Danny asks. "Lum made this for me with the help of a priestess named Sakura. It keeps my natural ghost aura inside my body so it doesn't radiate and trigger another ghost's sense. Cool huh?" Danny asks.
Vlad looks between him and the smirking alien girl in bewilderment.
"What? But I thought-"
"Oh, and I also have this now." Danny says reaching into his front pocket and pulling out an aerosol can. "Actually, the suit is also for protection from it."
Danny sprays Vlad and they are both covered in a clear mist. Danny is protected thanks to his suit but Vlad coughs and hacks. He is engulfed in a bright yellow hue and Lum floats over to grab Vlads collar. When the mist clears, Vlad is in human form again.
"Ugh, what was that horrid-"
Vlad stops talking when he realizes that he is being suspended in the air by Lum alone.
"Got'cha!" Lum says.
Vlad looks at his own hands again and realizes that he's in human form again. Vlad tries to transform back into his ghost form, but no matter how hard he tries, he remains in human form. Every second makes Vlad more worried.
"Daniel, what did you do to me?" Vlad wipers.
"Tears, Vladdie!"
The mothership tractor beam lowers a furious Jack and Maddie Fenton down. They float in the air above the crowd level with Lum, a dangling Vlad and Danny. Behind them is Oyuki, Benten, Sinobu, Ran, Jazz and Sakura.
"Jack, What?" Vlad asks.
"It's tears from a unique sea creature native to the waters around Tomobiki." Maddie says.

Flashback
In Lum ship, Jack is chatting and laughing with Mr. Invader. While Clockwork uses his powers to age one of the sea urchin eggs that Maddie collected when she first arrived in Tomobiki, the kind whose tears could turn ghosts into humans, to adult size. Once it is mature, Maddie takes a feather and tickles the creature until it cries a single tear. Maddie takes the sample and gives it to Lum as Clockwork reverts the creature back to an egg. Lum places the tear in a device and it spits out a gallon of the liquid.
As Danny looks excitedly out the ship's window, gushing over the fact that he is now actually in outer space and on an alien spaceship, Inaba approaches Danny with a notebook. He taps him on the shoulder to get his attention.
"So, Mr. Phantom. Can I have your autograph?" Inaba asks, holding the notebook out.
"Inaba, your the leader of a organization that transcends time and space and decides people's destinies." Danny says.
"Yes, I know that."
"And you want MY autograph?"
"Yes. If that's ok."
Danny shrugs.
"Sure."
Danny takes a pen and signs in the book. When Inaba looks at the signature he squeals and faints. Sinobu catches him.
…
"You're no longer half ghost Vlad. You're now full human again." Jack says coldly.
"More or less." Says Maddie.
"This was a trap." Lum says. "Just to clarify, my people are NOT taking over the earth!" She says to the cameras. "Oh, but by the way." She presses another button on her wrist and a crockpot floats down into her free hand. "I've been doing some research on humans outside of Tomobiki lately and I've recently discovered your planet's serious food shortage problem. So you can have this alien crock-pot. Just say whatever food you and it will appear! Just don't say too much at once or else you'll get flooded in foods that definitely shouldn't mix."
The tractor beam floats it into Sam Manson's arms and the high smiles as some of the cameras focus on her.
"Awesome! Hey do you have anything that can regrow rainforests or fix the ozone layer. Or maybe bring back endangered animals?"
"We'll talk later." Says Lum.
Vlad wasn't paying attention, he was too busy focusing on Jack.
"How could you, Vladdie?" Jack asks furiously. "Trying to kill me, attacking my son. We were friends. What happened in college was an accident. You know that. I've always supported you."
"Support? Is that what you call stealing the love of my life?"
"He didn't steal me, Vlad. I was dating Jack the whole time." Maddie says sternly.
"I could have won you over if that idiot hadn't hospitalized me for years."
"No you wouldn't." Maddie says. "I never liked you like that. I've always loved Jack. He is a good man and honestly, I always thought you were too full of yourself. I did like you as a friend once but now I don't even want to look at you." Maddie says, turning her head.
"Yeah, you creep!" Benten shouts at him.
Vlad just growls at her. A cord drops down from the mothership and Lum sticks it into the back of Vlad's crown and Vlad starts having a spasm attack as the "crown" shocks him.
"The memory machine is now scanning your mind for all criminal activity."
Lum explains as Vlad continues to scream and twitch as his brain feels like it's electrocuted. After a minute the zapping stops and a singing sound is heard.
"Oh it's ready."
Lum lets go of Vlad and flies up to the ship as he screams and falls. The people below move out if the way as their mayor lands hard on the street. As he lays on the ground in pain Vlad sees every camera focused on him. He pulls himself up and shouts to his enemies above.
"This isn't over Daniel! You've revealed my secret, now I can reveal yours!"
Danny turns to his parents.
"Go for it, son." Jack says.
Danny floats to the ground.
"Danny, what are you doing?" Tucker asks.
Two black rings appear around the ghost boy and he transforms into a regular human teenager. Everyone gasps.
"Hello, my name is Danny Fenton." Danny says. "Almost a year ago I had a lab accident and I became Danny Phantom.
Across Amity Park…

Casper High
"Huh, that actually explains a lot." Mr. Lancer says as the other teachers are frozen in shock.

Paulina's House
"What the hell!?" Star shouts.
"Danny Fenton is Danny Phantom?" Dash exclaims in shock.
"Hmmm. Paulina Fenton, I can see it now." Paulina says.
"Actually, I heard that in Japan he hooked up with Sailor Jupiter." Kwan says.
"I'm sure that's just a rumor." Paulina says.

Manson Residence
"I always knew that kid was a freak." Jeremy says.
"I'm just glad Sammy-Kins is alright." Says Pam. "And our families gonna be famous! I can see the headlines now, the Mason Family Ends World Hunger!" Pamela says eyeing her daughter with the crock-pot on screen.
"It'll take more than one space bowl to feed the world!" Grandma Ida says. "Sam also talked about regrowing forests, let's talk to her and the tiger bikini model later."

"…Hmm. Well what do you know." Says Maurice.
…
Town Hall
"No!" Vlad shouts.
He tries to get up and tackle Danny but Ataru Moroboshi separates himself from the crowd and walks up behind him. He holds an ofuda provided by Sakura in his hand and smacks Vlad from behind. The former halfa screams in pain as he feels something shock his back. He turns around and sees Ataru glaring down at him.
"You're still a little ghost. Just enough for an ofuda to work on you. They are anti-ghost charms where I'm from."
He hits Vlad again with it and Vlad falls back to the ground as Ataru keeps smacking him.
"Lum…told…me…you…hurt…her!" Ataru's shouts in-between smacks.
Lum flies down and zaps Vlad with a small shock of lightning that went through the shrunken ectoranium meteorite in her hand first.
"You're a jerk!" Lum shouts at him.
She and Ataru smile at each other as they keep assaulting Vlad. Soon Benten flies down with her chains and Ran, Sinobu, Jazz, Maddie, Sakura and Ryuunosuke arrive with anti-ghost rods provided by Fenton works. They all gang up and start beating the shit out of the (practically former now) mayor. Danny continues.
"Ever since I got my ghost powers I've tried to protect this city from ghosts that want to hurt it."
"Excuse me young man, but while you are certainly credited with having the city at various points, can you explain to us the time when you went on a crime spree?" Shelly asks, hooding up her microphone.
"You mean when Freakshow was in town? He was using a hypno-ball that works on ghosts to control me. I thought that information was provided already. Wasn't it?" Danny asks.
"And what about the incident with former mayor Montez? Or last Christmas?" Shelly asks again.
"Those weren't Danny's fault!"
Everyone turns around and they see a young teenage African American girl stepping through the crowd and taking the stage.
"Valarie?" Danny says surprised.
Valarie walks up to the podium and talks into the microphone.
"I confronted Mayor Masters a while ago because I myself discovered this exact secret. And when I did he mocked me by telling me the truth." Valarie says. "All those instances, Danny was framed by other ghosts who had it for him. A ghost possessed the former mayor and the presents were controlled by another ghost. Those were just unfortunate incidents that made him look like a bad guy…" Now Valarie turns to face Danny, looking apologetic. "When he is actually a hero. And I myself am a victim of it. I blamed him for a ghost destroying my old life when Danny was just trying to catch it. And I've been manipulated by TWO bad ghosts into trying to take him down." Valarie says shamefully, thinking of Vlad and Technus. "I hurt him and the people he loves." Valarie says thinking about Danielle. "And I am so…so sorry."
Danny smiles at her kindly. Valarie smiles back.
Lum and the others step away from Vlad, as he lays beaten and bruised on the ground (also smoking). Sirens are heard and a few police officers exit their vehicles.
"Im…so glad you're here." Vlad says as he continues to lay on the ground in pain. "These hooligans attacked me. Arrest them!"
"Actually Mayor Masters, we're here to arrest you." Says one of the police officers.
"You know, for trying to take over the word." Says another.
Lum floats up to them and hands them a flash-drive.
"That crown I placed on Masters-San was actually a helmet for uploading a person's memories. In this is every illegal thing he's done. Oh, and that includes robbing banks, attempted murder, releasing someone called the Ghost-King, someone called Vortex and apparently he also made you all vote him mayor by creating a bunch of copies of himself and possessing people. That's all just what Phantom-San told me, you can check it on this."
The officer takes the flash drive.
"Will do ma'am. Take him, boys."
"No…" Vlad says in utter defeat as he is forcefully lifted up but he cops and dragged towards the police car.
Vlad looks around, he sees all the angry faces glaring at him. The cameras pointed at him. This was a nightmare, he was supposed to be ruler of the earth. Instead he has been reduced back to a mere mortal (but can still be hurt with ghost weapons apparently), he's lost his authority, the woman he loved rejected him and he's going to spend the rest of his life in a mere human prison. And even if he could somehow escape, he knew it would only be a matter of time before he was found again. He knew that he could no longer even walk down the street after that stunt he'd pulled. He had revealed his true self. He sees Jack glaring at him beside his wife, daughter and son. Vlad tries the one card he has left in utter desperation.
"You'll help me? Won't you Jack? You wouldn't just abandon an old friend would you?"
"And old friend, no. You, yes."
Now Vlad was crushed. He had nothing left now. No way out. Not even the blindly naive loyalty of that fool to lean on. Once he's inside the police car Danny walks over to the policemen.
"Alright, he may be powerless now but he still has allies who are ghosts. Vultures. A hunter. You better ghost proof his cell just in case."
"The jail has been ghost proof ever since ghosts came along, kid." The officer says. Then he salutes him. "Keep up the good work."
Danny watches and smiles as the police car drives away with his arch enemy. He turns to face the crowd and the people of Amity Park cheer for him. He catches sight of Ataru placing his arm over Lum's waist and he kisses her on the head, Lum blushes and hugs him. Then the oni alien turns to Ran.
"Now, I believe I promised I would talk to your mother."
Ran smiles at her friend.
"Hey, can you give us a ride back to Japan first?" Sinobu asks, pointing to herself, Sakura and Ryuunosuke.
"Sure." Benten says. "And we'll be back soon. Rye, I wanna hear all about your mother."
Ryuunosuke was excited. Social services had found her mother, and she was actually going to live with her once she goes back to Japan. The aliens and the Japanese turn to look at Jazz.
"Bye Jazz-Chan!" Ran shouts.
"Thanks for everything!" Ataru shouts.
"Glad I could help!" Jazz shouts before all of them are sucked back up by the Oni mothership, which flies away along with the rest of the fleet.
Danny watches them go. After the trial the guardians and Danny met with Lum and Ataru in private. While there were still some hard feelings the teenage heroes were willing to believe that at least some of their actions, both within the last ten days and since the rabbits MADE Lum come to earth, was the Destiny production Bureau's doing. Plus they helped save the city, possibly the world, now and they were agreeing to help him take down Vlad. So they were told that they would basically be on parole.
The guardians would keep an eye on Tomobiki as they did their own adventures, but they promised the next time they did something like this or endangered the city in any way they would force them off the planet by any means. "I'll try my best." Lum said to them.
But it looks like it is gonna be a little bit before Lum and Ataru come back to earth. Honestly the guardians were happy about that, it would give them a break. Especially when they needed to leave right away to, as Inaba said, wrap up the Black Moon Arc and beat the Wise Man. He just asked that they pretend that they hadn't learned that Chibiusa was the future daughter of Usagi and Mamoru. Danny was going to have to ask Lita all about it when she contacted him tonight/tomorrow morning.
Tucker and Sam run up.
"Dude, that was awesome!" Tucker shouts.
"You managed to get rid of Plasmius and solve a world issue in one day!" Sam exclaims looking at the pot. "But I still need to talk to that alien girl when she gets back. So, where's Lita?"
"She's taking care of some stuff in Japan." Danny says.
Then he turns to face his family.
"Looks like your famous little bro." Jazz says.
"Yeah, maybe I'll get a statue." Danny jokes. "So, what now?"
"Now…we find your brother." Jack says.
"But first-" Says Maddie. "-Danny, I believe you have to introduce us to our youngest daughter."
Danny smiles anxiously.

One Week Later
The newly recommissioned Mayor Montez reveals a statue of Danny Phantom in town hall. The crowd cheers and claps their hands in applause. Danny watched from a distance under a tree on a hill. It was just like that other ending Clockwork showed him except by his side was Makoto "Lita" Kino, his new girlfriend. Who had just gone to the 30th century and beaten the Black Moon Clan and was now "taking a break" before starting her next "arc" as Inaba described it.
"Sorry you only get one statue instead of ones all over the world." Lita teases.
"Clockwork said after my original threshold most of them would be taken down anyways so it's the same in the long run." Danny says with a shrug.
"Right, because of what Ami said about the Disasteroid not being big enough to actually destroy the planet."
"Why would people even think a meteor that small would cause an apocalypse anyways?" Danny asks.
"I dunno, why would Lum have thought letting mushrooms overrun the earth was a good idea?" Danny says angrily. "Damn rabbits."
"Are you sure you don't wanna be down there now, Danny-Kun?"
"Nah, I get enough publicity during the day." Danny says. "To think there was once a time I wanted to be part of the popular crowd at school. Now I find Paulina's constant flirting annoying. I wish I could just tell her I already have a hot and awesome girlfriend."
"Trust me, I would too. But Clockwork-San was right, if you spend too much time with Makoto Kino it might draw attention to Sailor Jupiter." Lita says sadly. "But according to Inaba we should be free next year, so hopefully then."
"By the way how are the others?" Danny asks.
"Great! I mean Usagi was initially irritated with having no look after Chibiusa for a while but I think she's mostly over it." Lita says. "I swear the way those two bicker it's like they are sisters instead of mother and future-daughter."
"Maybe I should send Danielle over to her for a play date." Danny jokes.
"How is Danielle?"
"She's doing great. Mom, Dad and Jazz love her. Wish I had brought her home sooner."
"I doubt that was actually your choice." Lita says then she angrily grumbles. "Damn rabbits."
"Hey dude!"
Danny and Lita see Sam and Tucker approaching them.
"Tucker, Sam, hey!" Danny calls out.
"Great news dude, your biography is selling like hot cakes." Tucker says showing the statistics of his book sales on his PDA. "The statue looks great though, wish I could have been the one to unveil it."
"I told you Tucker, in the other timeline you would have just been mayor temporarily." Danny says. "And you would have gotten fired early."
"At least I'm getting girls as Danny Phantom's best friend." Tucker says. "I don't have to be one of those 'Lum Voyagers' at school who are fixated on that Japanese alien."
"Oh, who is this?" Sam asks, looking at Lita.
The two girls eye each other up and down again. Danny and Lita stand up.
"Sam, Tucker, this is Makoto Kino. My girlfriend, in person."
"Right, Lita. Honestly dude, you should tell people you're dating Sailor Jupiter. You'll get so much publicity."
"No!" Danny and Lita say at once.
"And right now we don't even want people to know that Danny-Kun is dating Makoto. I don't need the attention."
Sam approaches Lita and she looks up at the tall girl.
"You're shorter in person." Lita commented.
"Yes, you're less stylish in person too." Sam snarked.
Lita huffs.
"All seriousness though, I want to apologize for what happened when we first met." Sam says sincerely. "I was out of line."
Lita lightens up.
"It's alright."
"I'm dating another guy now." Sam says, showing her a picture on her phone showing her with another boy. "We…get along really well. If you two really like each other I'm happy for you."
Danny and Lita smile at her.
"Thank you, Sam-Chan." Lita says.
"By the way, I have something for you." Sam pulls out a glass ring from her pocket and hands it to Danny.
"A glass ring?" Lita asks.
"My dad gave it to me to give it to a girl I really like." Danny says. "I kinda gave it to Sam to hold onto."
"For reasons we will not discuss." Sam says. "But I took the liberty of having the engraving changed."
Lita looks at the inside of the ring and she sees that it now says "Makoto" inside. Lita smiles at her then Danny. Danny slides it on her finger and she looks at it proudly.
"You know, a long distance relationship won't be easy though." Sam says.
"No doubt about it." Lita says. "All relationships depend on compromise, but I am willing to put in the effort if Danny-Kun is."
"That's what I'm counting on." Danny exclaims.

Minnesota State Prison
Former billionaire and former halfa supervillain Vlad Masters sits in his cell. It's specifically designed to keep ghosts out based on Danny's own suggestions. Good thing too because since he's been here they have been attacked by a trio of ghost vultures that the guards had to shoo away with ecto-rays. He had received word that all the money he stole to start his businesses and the businesses he had signed over to him have been returned to the original owners. What was left of his fortune was now in the possession of his only living "relative", Dani, who is now living with the Fentons and will inherit it when she turns 18, or eighteen in clone years. Not that it mattered, even if he could afford a good lawyer now there was no way he would get out of here in his lifetime. But after a week of coming to terms with his situation he had now found some kind of resolve.
"Actually, being a state prisoner isn't half-bad. I mean there's free food, not terrible living, I don't have to worry about taxes, it's quiet and I-"
"Visitor! Mr. Masters!" A guard yells.
Vlad looks up and when he sees who's there his eyes widen. It is Valarie, floating on a hoverboard similar to her former one and wearing a red jumpsuit like her first one.
"Valarie?" Vlad asks.
"Hey Mister Masters, orange looks good on you." Valarie teases.
"You have ghost hunting tech again."
"The Fentons hooked me up."
"So you're Daniels lap dog now." Vlad sneers.
"No, I'm independent but now we're not afraid to work together. By the way, I have an official ghost hunting license now." Valarie says.
"So, you came here to mock me?"
"Actually I'm here to test out an experiment."
Valarie removes her gloves and she pulls out a Ofuda and a tiny piece of ectoranium. Vlad looks scared.
"Jazz gave me these from that bikini alien." Valarie says. "One is a simple piece of paper with a Japanese phrase written on it to ward off ghosts. Danny says it actually works. Danny also said that even though you're human now these things can still hurt you. Let's test that theory."
Vlad gulps.
…
"What do you say, wanna go for a ride? See where the future takes us?" Danny asks Lita, transforming into his ghost form.
Lita smiles at him.
"I would like that."
Lita pulls out her pen, spins and transforms into Sailor Jupiter. Sam rolls her eyes while Tucker tries not to stare at her legs.
"I honestly don't know how you can go around like that. At least wear pants underneath." Sam comments.
"I'm fine." Lita/Sailor Jupiter says.
She takes Danny's hand and he makes them invisible. They fly together across the sky. Sam and Tucker wave them off.
"They are cute together." Tucker says. "Danny's statue is cool don't you think?" He asks Sam.
"Sure. Personally I would have made it out of recycled materials but, you know, that's just me."
Flying across the sky, Sailor Jupiter/Makoto Kino/Lita laugh and point down at the beautiful landscape below with her boyfriend Danny Fenton/Phantom. They are happy to have this moment together. Danny might be out of the woods but she still has a lot of adventures ahead of her. Danny looks forward to a day when they can reveal their relationship, and a brighter future ahead of them.
THE END
After Story
A monitor goes off at the Lab at Fenton Works. Maddie checks it and when the image comes through, Maddie freezes, gasps then screams in joy.
"Jack! Kids! Get down here!"
Danielle phases through the floor while Jack runs down with Jazz.
"What is it mom?" Danielle asks.
"Yeah, I was showing cupcake how to aim a ghost blaster." Jack says petting Danielle on the head.
"And eating fudge." She says.
"Lots and lots of fudge." Danielle and Jack say together dreamily.
"Anyways… what's up mom?" Jazz asks.
"First of all, where's Danny?" Maddie asks.
"He's out right now." Jazz says.
"Oh, well I'll tell him when he gets back. Jack, do you remember when the town got sent to the ghost zone and Mr. Grey sent out a probe?"
"Yeah, why?"
"Well I just got some new footage on it." Maddie goes back to the monitor and rewinds the footage. "We can track the probe's location, but what's important is what was near it at the time."
Maddie shows her family the footage. It shows a gigantic octopus like ghost with snakes for tentacles breathing fire at a fast moving green blur. The blur moves too fast for the flames to hit it and even spins into a tornado to distill the attacks. When it stops moving the dark figure seems to draw energy from the ghost zone, and from the flames itself, and fires massive blasts of energy that slices off four tentacles. The creature roars and it tries to bite the figure with one of its remaining snake tentacles, but the figure just phases through it. The figure laughs before it smacks the octopus in the face with a long chain. The figure then collides into the octopus' head, forcing it downwards. When the probe focuses on the figure to get a better image, it appears as a tall human man from behind with red hair lifting a scythe-like weapon over his head and plunging it into the octopus' head. The creature screams before it bursts into ectoplasm. The figure faces a village of "human" ghosts which cheer. He gives them a salute then flies off. Maddie stops the footage when part of the figure's face is shown.
"Look familiar everyone?"
He doesn't look familiar to Danielle, but Jack and Jazz see a resemblance to the image of a certain someone that Clockwork showed them. Jack is speechless but Jazz approaches the screen and caresses the image. One word escapes her lips as she smiles, a tingle tear going down her face.
"Flynn."
Note: I was afraid to say his name. But the guy that Sam is with in this fic is based on an OC named Chris from Flowerprincess11. He serves as Sam's replacement love interest in the "Many Dates of Danny Fenton" multiverse and any other fic by Flowerprincess and NeoMark. Of course I don't own the character so that's why I don't say her new boyfriend's name here.

Pedro Alonso Buby Huayanay Zamudio: Actually after this I'm thinking about doing a one chapter story. It's too hard to get back into fanfic right now, I just don't have a ton of time to write. I just want to finish this and move on. Its a shame though, I would love to do a Danny Phantom vs Tsukune Aono fanfiction or maybe one where Lum and Ataru visit Amity Park for Setsubun, but I don't think those are gonna happen. I'll leave the former to death battle. Yeah, I agree I might have made Danny and Makoto fall too fast, But I thought it was essential for my story.
