Moving to Oakdale was not my kind of idea to become a superstar. I was ready to hit it big, but my parents were just ready to get away from their family. They decided that it was best for me to start all over with my career, since there were people looking for a band. I didn't want to move to a different state, but I'm only fifteen, so I actually had to go with them. So, we're moving to a small town in ILLINOIS, where we will probably stay until I turn eighteen. Right now, I'm sitting in the middle of my parents in our pickup truck, flipping through the songs on my IPod Nano.

All of a sudden I started singing the lyrics to Miranda Lambert's "New Strings"

Song: I bet this road will take me outta here Take me far away from Amarillo I bet this car will go real...

"Zoe Michelle Carrol, turn that damn thing off." Momma yelled, as she pulled a earphone out of my ear. "I hear enough of it from your Dad when he can't go to sleep in the middle of the night."

I started to laugh as I hit the off button.

"Is there an off button anywhere on you Momma?" I asked, as I felt of her hand. "Because I can't seem to find it."

"Very funny." Momma said, as she yanked my IPod away as well. "You just laugh it up when you get grounded from this thing and all the songs get deleted."

"Come on you two." Daddy said, as he pulled into a driveway to a big house. "It's our first day here and you two are wanting to start what we left off yesterday."

A man with black hair walked up to the truck and waved at us.

"Jack." Daddy said, as he rolled the window down.

"Hey Justin." Jack said. "I thought you said that you wouldn't be here until at least four-thirty."

"I decided to come earlier so we could take a look at the place." Daddy said, as he took his seatbelt off. "Living in Indiana gives us a pretty big advantage to come here more often. So, how's the kids?"

"They're great." Jack said, as he nodded his head. "I see you brought your two with you."

"Yeah." Daddy said. "I wouldn't go anywhere without them. They're my girls, you know. We've never been seperated, and I plan on it staying that way for a littlle while longer."

"So, are you going to be staying at the Lakeview or what?" Jack asked, as he crossed his arms.

"The Lakeview for a couple of days, and then we'll find us an apartment and get settled in." Daddy said. "We don't have a lot of stuff, so it won't take us long to unpack."

"Well, meet me and Carly at Al's in about an hour." Jack said. "We'll put the kids to be over at Emma's later on."

"Sure." Daddy said with a smile, as he put his seatbelt back on, and backed up out of the driveway.
