A few days later
Ben was talking to his mom on the phone.
she sounded like she was in hurry, and was she driving? he heard some cars honking, she was driving "are you driving?".
"no your father is driving I'm in passenger's seat" she said "anyway listen today our neighbours are coming to visit so I want you to clean up the house ok and if they arrive early then just keep them company we will be at home by 6 PM, I hope" she said the last part quietly.
"ooook" ben said slowly "when will they arrive?".
"at 7 PM" she said.
"ok, I'll clean up" ben said.
"ok by love you" then she hung up.
Ben looked around the house it was a big house "well better get to it then".
Ben then started to clean the house starting from his room, which was surprisingly not a mess, well ben was over 100…mentally at least.
"XLR8 will make a quick work of this" ben smirked and slapped the dial of the watch.
"XLR8" ben screamed.
"what FastTrack!?" ben said looking at himself "well it'll do" ben smirked and ran all around the house cleaning folding the blankets, if anyone were there, they will see multiple FastTrack or after images of him running around cleaning the house, he was that fast.
FastTrack stopped and transformed back to ben, while ben was cleaning he had noticed that they almost ran out of cooking oil.
Ben then looked at the time, it had been 5 minutes since he started "well I guess that I can go out to get it" the mall was not that far.
Outside there were many people walking down the street looking different some had extra appendages some had different skin and not like white, brown, black skin there were many pink, yellow, green, black and to think that they all were of the same race, humans of this reality were really shocking to ben.
Soon ben reached the store and brought cooking oil and on the way back ben thought back to his time training Melissa and frowned when a memory came to him.
Melissa was testing her strength which were being pushed to their limits and she couldn't pick up any more weights when it happened circuits started to appear on her arms and in an instant a giant red metal fist grew from her hand and it looked just like rex's smack hands. Ben looked at them in surprise.

Ben saw a car chase happening which forced him to stop, he looked at the police and a guy in a white armor running after it.
Ben looked around at the other people who were too focused on the car chase.
Ben decided the best course of action and walked away.
A few minutes ago.
At an store Alarm bells rang as two thieves robbed it wearing all might and endeavor masks.
"come of we got two minutes till the hero's arrive" all might said as he got in the car
"got it" endeavor said and got in a second car.
Soon the turbo hero ingemuim arrived and started to run after them.
"I am following the suspects; they are going to pass the ****** bridge" he said to his sidekicks over the radio.
At ****** bridge, the cars were moving slowly and peaceful till the people saw two red cars speeding past them hitting a few cars along the way.
Ingemuim saw them speeding past the traffic not caring who they hit.
He gritted his teeth no one was getting hurt on his watch "chopper and wall" he said to his communicator "you are on rescue duty, weld, you be ready to cuff the criminals, sonic you support them" he told his sidekicks showing his leadership skills.
He then ran and pushed his engine to the max when he saw a turn coming, while the cars needed to slow down he didn't.
"ultimate move: Rocket Charge" he yelled and shot forward at great speed cutting through the cars path and slammed his armoured fist through the engine of the car destroying it.
"SCREECH" the sound of breaks was heard as the car skidded to a stop.
"weld: you are up, I've got another car to stop" he told his sidekick and jumped down the bridge and used his engine quirk to slow his fall.
There he spotted the car which was going through traffic, now that he got a good look at the car he frowned and ran, he was chasing the car with everything he had, his quirk makes him fast but nothing on the level of a sports car so he was sweating heavily.
"boss, there is a turn up ahead it will have to slow down there you can catch up to it then" his sidekick said.
"got it" he grinned but then he saw the car stop on its own, that got him confused so he ran towards it and then he saw what had happened its engine was smoking it must have busted. He ran to the doors and kicked it breaking the lock of it and grabbed then both and threw then away.
"now surrender" he said.
they both looked at him then to his sidekicks and put their hands up in surrender.
With ben he now was looking at the car chase with his one hand stretched, his eyes glowing green.
"well that take's care of that" he said, his arm right now was on fire, like literally it was made of fire and was covered with some rocks which were red due to the heat. it was one of the tricks he had learned during his 20s,'partial transformation', comes pretty handy in closed spaces but ben don't used it that much, so he kind of forgot that it existed.
Then it all disappeared back into his arm and ben jumped down from the 1th floor and landed on an empty alley and walked away
At ben's home ben had just finished cleaning when the doorbell rang ben walked to the door and opened it and thankfully it was his parents.
"welcome back" ben said as he grabbed some of the packages which his parents were holding.
"are they here yet?" Sandra asked.
"ah, no" ben gestured to the empty house.
"oh good, take these to the kitchen" she said "I really need a change of clothes".
"whoa" carl said "you really cleaned the place, honestly I was afraid that you'll mess it up" he said looking at the shining floor.
"yeah well it was not that hard" ben said as his father beamed and patted his back and walked away to help Sandra with cooking.
Ben looked at his parents busy with work so he thought not to bother them.
"I am going to my room call me if you need anything" ben said.
Soon the guests arrived ben was playing games on the couch because he was bored of waiting.
"ben open the door" ben's dad said.
"ok" ben said and went to open the door.
At the door ben saw three people one man and women both of whom were middle aged and a girl about the same age as him.
Ben figured that they must be the neighbors.
"hello" the man said he had blond hairs reaching his shoulders "I am Kyotoku jiro, and this is Mikajiro my lovely wife"
Ben looked at her, she had glasses and had short purple hairs. Ben tried to not look at her for too long she was just ben's type, well she looked like the type which ben would date but ben being the respectful adult he was -from the inside- controlled his young body.
Ben nodded "hi I am ben-ben Tennyson" his ex-ex-and a few more ex-girlfriend was half Japanese so ben knew some of the customs.
Ben looked at the third presence in the room, she had same purple short hairs as the women.
"ah and this is kyoka jiro" our daughter.
"so you must be the neighbors" ben said and took a step back and extended his arm inside the house "welcome".
Then nodded and went to the living room where ben's dad was sitting wearing pajama and a polo shirt, his eyes widened when he looked at them.
"ah Mr and miss Jiro weren't you coming at 7-" he said but stopped himself when he looked at the clock behind them it was 7:03PM.
"oh it is 7" he said.
"of course it is" ben's mom cane from the kitchen "you would know if you pulled your face out from the newspaper".
Ben chuckled a bit.
"hi I am Sandra Tennyson" she said "and this in my husband carl Tennyson".
They shook their hands "and I see that you have already met our son Benjamin".
"hi again" ben said.
"I am Mika jiro and this is my husband kyotoku jiro" Mrs. jiro said.
"and this little angle must be your daughter" ben's dad said looking at the kid.
"this is our daughter" Mrs Jiro said "say hello" she said.
"hi I am kyoka jiro" the little girl said "nice to meet you".
"oh my how polite" ben's parents exclaimed "unlike somebody" they looked at ben through their eyes.
"what?" ben was really polite…well compared to his previous younger version the difference was like night and day.
"well come on" ben's dad said and took Mr. Jiro away ben looked at his mom and saw that she was in the kitchen with Mrs. Jiro, did they knew each other from before or something well they have been living here for 3 months so it was natural but really? Was ben that bad at meeting his neighbors first it was the Tests then them.
Ben shook his head and looked at the kid.
"so I guess you like music" he said her parents were composer's ben had heard his parents talking.
"yes" she nodded "and you".
"ahh, I kind of listen but not that much" ben said and looked at her "maybe you can tell me some good ones".
She nodded since he was her neighbor and the same age as her besides looking at their parents it looked like she would be here for a long time so might as well talk to kill some time.
They talked about their hobbies she cringed that he liked sumo slammers and the videogames which he played were all fighting action and sharpshooters, but at least he had an ok sense of music or else it would be really hard to get along with him.
"so did what's your quirk?" she asked.
Ben looked at her thinking what to say he haven't told anyone about omnitrix do to everyone thought that he was still quirkless but ben did know some magic and some chi which he learned from rook's home planet but they both were too diverse to be chalked up to one power, or maybe, just maybe ben was a little too lazy to explain about them.
"I don't have one" ben said looking at her, he was kind of curious about her reaction, from what he had seen she was an chill person.
"oh!" she looked surprised "really?".
"yep" ben said.
"i" she looked at him "I kind of don't know what to say".
If it were anyone else, they would be slightly offended but ben was not just anyone.
"well then just say what comes to your mind" ben said.
She rubbed her neck ben was the first person she had met who didn't have a quirk, so it was kind of hard to say anything on that topic.
"look, don't be mad you are the first person without a quirk who I've met so I don't know what to say like I don't know what will make you sad or mad" she said "but you are a cool person".

"shut up" she punched his arm "and let me finish".
"ok, ok" ben chuckled and gestured her to continue ben was curious about what she wanted to say.
"I mean I was going to say sorry, but then I'll sound like I pity you, but I can't say its ok cause I don't know what it's like to be without a quirk but I also can't treat you like its chill because then I'll just sound like heartless freak".
"ok, ok" ben stopped her "were cool k?" ben said and how would she be heartless "you're a cool person ok so whatever you say is fine".
"really" she asked.
"say nothing if you don't have anything to say, you being my friend makes up for it" ben said.
"really we have met just an" she looked at the clock on the wall "hour ago".
Ben looked at her with a sly expression "well but if you don't be my friend then I'll be sad" ben put up a pitiful expression.

"you" she looked at him "you are a narcissist".

She looked at him like she wasn't believed him a second ago he was looking pitiful but now he was so-so just so-.
"so friends" ben asked he really needed friends since even his parents had told him to get friends it's been 3 months since they were here and ben haven't made a single friend.
She rubbed her temples probably thinking about if in the future she will regret that decision "fine whatever, friends" she smiled at him.
Ben returned that smile "do you play games?" ben asked.
"a few" she said "but I am really good at musical ones".

At 8:30 they left after dinner ben told Jiro to visit him again tomorrow to kill some time or play games or listen to music or to help each other in their school work, the last one was under ben's mom's glare.

Kyoka jiro glared at ben, in the little time she had spent with ben she figured out that he had a small crush on her mom, she had seen the few glances he had send her way and she was not happy.
Ben felt her stare and sweated slightly thinking 'what I am a healthy boy with hormones with the mind of a 100-year-old man, it doesn't exactly make the perfect combination, besides he was just looking at her and won't do anything, she was Jiro's mom so she was off limits'.
At night ben went outside his house it was 2 PM ben had decided to check his neighbor, then the world, maybe he can even destroy some secret organization and some villains.
Ben started to walk around. ben looked around him, there was not that much crime because ben was going out in night to take out anyone who did it.
It was where ben lived, so ben kind of didn't wanted there to be any crime, in the first month ben drove out all of the major crime originations and left all the criminals at the doorstop of the police station.
So cause of that there was a saying among the crime syndicate of this town that don't commit any crime at night or the ghost will get you.
That's what they were calling ben.
"ghost" really "couldn't you've picked a better name"
But because of ben out at night the criminals did crimes at day since it was safest in the day.
Ben chuckled at the irony.
But of course at day the official heroes stopped them all, besides all the major players were in jail, courtesy of ben, and even if there were any strong criminals it wouldn't matter cause this town was the home of one of the strongest official heroes.
Her name was Rabbit Hero: Mirko, and ben had seen her fight and she was good. And very happy that the criminals were out in the day cause that way she could beat them all up, straight and arrow without all that investigation fuss, ben would love to have her as his partner she and 10-year-old ben had the same thinking and maybe sometimes 16-year-old one.
An hour later ben went back to his house, but Ben spotted something glowing outside of his house.
Curious as to what it was ben got closer to it and found out that it was a glowing lizard.
Ben crouched down "now then what are you doing here little guy?".
It looked at ben and blinked.
Ben stretched his arm forward but then his eyes widened, 'what was that, it was like I wanted to cuddle it'. Ben got up and took a step back.
"roarrrrrr!". The lizard let out a cute little roar, ben looked at it baffled, well that was until it grew to the size of a small van and swiped it's tail at ben.
Ben jumped into the air just above it. And saw that it destroyed the wall of his house.
'oh no' ben thought 'Mom and Dad will wake up'. Which proved to be true as the lights of his house turn on and the curations of his parents' bedroom opened.
But ben didn't pay any attention to them, he was too busy dogging the tail of that lizard.
Ben looked around but saw no route of retreat and he neither had any way for it to fallow him.
"well I guess that now its hero time" ben yelled as he jumped and back flipped in mid-air and landed on the back of it.
"let's see how you deal with Humungousaur" ben yelled with a big grin and slapped the omnitrix.
ben's skin became harder denser, his skin became brown and he sprouted a tail from his back, ben felt his muscles grow and became denser to tank even a cruise missile, ben felt himself grew to an enormous 12 feet height.
"Humungousaur" ben yelled.
The lizard let out a screech and fell down under Humungousaur's enormous weight.
Ben looked down at himself "Humungousaur, really, didn't thought that you'll give me what I want" ben looked at the omnitrix on his chest.
'screech' the lizard let out an screech and tried to get up but to no avail.
"give it up" Humungousaur said "there is no way for you to pick me up".
The lizard swiped its tail at Humungousaur's face only for it to be grabbed by him.
"I am telling you, it' s hopeless" Humungousaur said.
Then Humungousaur felt his butt getting hot, he looked down and saw the lizard glowing "really fire".
The road was starting to melt but.
"at that temperature you might as invite me to a sauna" Humungousaur said which was a bad idea cause right then the lizard grew more, now the entire street was covered.
"oh great, a 12 foot long lizard wants to kill me" Humungousaur said "when did that happened before?".
Humungousaur dodged its tail which destroyed the road and a few trees.
"oh I know over a dozen times" Humungousaur smirked.
"screech" the lizard let out another screech and roared at Humungousaur.
"oh really_" he didn't get to finish as he saw a torrent of red hot lava coming towards him.
Humungousaur's eyed widened and he jumped up wards and landed behind the lizard with a thud which cracked the ground below him, the lizard seeing that swing is tail from which a few spicks shot towards him.
Humungousaur jumped back and sat that the spiked hit the ground going halfway into the road before stopping.
"ok" he said "that's new".
The lizard turned around and jumped at him.
Ben seeing that reeled his fist back and punched the lizard's face so hard that it got blown back a few feet.
"ok ugly" ben said punching his palm "I'll give you only one warning, give up or get beaten".
It responded by swiping its tail at Humungousaur but he caught it.
"well the same ol beat down it is" Humungousaur then pulled it at him and did an uppercut at its chin which knocked it away.
"now then" Humungousaur said cracking his knuckles "tell me who send you or I'll throw you to the moon, and I am not joking".
Humungousaur eyed the lizard 'it looks like one of animo's experiment but since he is not here who made it and why attack my house.
"AHHHHH" Humungousaur heard an scream he looked back and saw his parents behind him with an shotgun how did they got it in japan he didn't knew.
"alight you big lizard, stop trashing out place or else" carl said.
Ben looked at him with slight panic 'well it was goanna come out some day, might as well as be this one".
"Mom, Dad it's me ben" he said looking at them.
"what the hell are you talking about" carl said.
Ben then heard the lizard groaning behind him he whipped his face to it and saw that it was waking up.
"listen, I saw this glowing thing outside so I went to see it, only it wasn't a thing but a size changing lizard with some sort of fire power and then it suddenly lunged at me and when I thought that I was a goner I suddenly turned into this huge dinosaur then I started to fight it".
"Ben! is that you?" Sandro said only her son could explain something this complicated this easily.
"yep the one and only" he said.
"beep beep beep" ben heard those fimilar sounds his eyes widened.
"oh crap" he whispered "sorry but I gotta take that thing down" ben said and ran to it surprisingly fast.
The lizard saw Humungousaur running at it so it breathed out some lava at Humungousaur.
Humungousaur seeing that jumped again, right above it and reeled back his fist "same tricks don't work on me" he yelled.
"swish" ben heard a familiar sound he looked at its tail which had regrown its spikes.
ben seeing that widened his eyes, those spikes were strong enough to cut concrete while Humungousaur could easily shrug them off his parents couldn't say the same.
Ben then spread his arms to the sides and then clapped them both that it made a sonic explosion.
"boom!".
it hit the lizard so bad that when it fired those spikes at him the sonic clap shattered them on contact and hit the lizard burying it in the pavement.
"thud"
Ben landed on the lizard "didn't knew that it'll work" ben said 'good thing I held back ot this lizard would've been meat paste' ben thought as he saw the lizard go back to a 10 CM long lizard.
"ben!" his parents said "what the hell is going on".
"ah" he looked at them.
"didn't I told you already?" he asked.
"I mean how are you this giant dinosaur" carl said.
"ah well".
'how to explain it' he thought then his eyes widened.
"you see- "then a bright red light bathed the neighborhood and when it went away, in place of Humungousaur, was there so ben.
He looked at his parent's with a small grin "I guess I awakened my quirk" he said with a nervous grin.
"" WHAT!"" they looked at ben with their jaws open, to say that they were surprised would be an understatement, after all you don't see your son turn into a 12-foot-tall dinosaur, even with quirks around.
'yeah', ben had some real explaining to do.
"so" ben looked at them "petty cool right?".
"what the hell is?" ben heard noise of their neighbor he looked back and saw that Mr jiro was looking at the place, shocked by the destruction, the road was cracked, the walls were broken, melted in some case and there were yellow spikes were embedded in the pavement.
He looked at ben and his parents "what the hell happened did a villain attack?".
Ben looked at him "something like that" ben had fought that lizard for only 30 seconds but the destruction was too much, it looked like all might fought a Villain not a kid.
Ben looked past them and saw some 'heroes' arrive.
"what the hell happened?" a 'hero' asked, ben looked at him, his eyes twitching.
"what do you think?" he asked "some one attacked this place" he gestures to all the destroyed things.
He looked at ben "what your tongue Brat" he said.
Ben was about to respond to him when the police siren diverted his attention.
He saw a standard issued police car stop near them, from it came out a man wearing a coat.
He looked around and saw the heroes and civilians.
"are you the one who called?" he looked at Mr. jiro who nodded.
"alright" he looked around seeing all the destruction and turned to the heroes "I assume you caught the villain?".
"no actually" the unknown hero said "by the time we arrived, the action was over".
The officer then looked at ben and his parents then to Mr. and Mrs. Jiro.
"can you tell me what happened?" he asked.
He then went over them each and what he heard was giving him a head ache 'a kid, who is a late bloomer got attacked and awakened his quirk, what is this a movie?'.
He then looked at ben and walked to him.
"listen kid you need to come with us?" he said.
"WHAT!" ben's mom scream "where are you taking my son".
The officer backed away "listen mam he used his quirk illegally and law is law, we need to take him for questing".
'that's how the crime rate in japan were low for all these years, with an iron fist law and justice' he told himself a bit afraid of the look that ben's mom was giving him.
"and we also need you to come with us" he said to everyone and pointed to the lizard "also take that with you" he said to the heroes.
"am I under arrest?" ben asked.
The police officer's expression softened "no son, we just need your statement".
"what about that illegal use of quirk shit?".
"well about that… we need to be through before we can arrest you" he said.
Ben's eyes narrowed "I want my lawyer; I am not saying a word before I get my lawyer".
He froze.
"ah what" he asked.
"ill come with you but I am not talking" ben said and walked to the police car.
Half an hour later ben was in front of an officer who was looking at him with despair, why? Because ben was making annoying sounds with his smoothie cup.
Ben was bored and this was the only way for him to pass time by annoying the shit out of the one responsible for him being here.
"I am your lawyer" a stack of papers was dropped on his table, ben heard a familiar voice he turned and was surprised because it was Ms smith ben's favourite teacher In his both lives and probably the only one that he liked.
" what are you doing here?" he asked.
"what I said 'I am your lawyer" she said like it was the most natural thing In the world.
"but you can't be my lawyer, you are my teacher" he said.
"well the higher ups of the island decided that it would be best if I was your lawyer" she said "by the way congrats on getting your quirk".
"uh" was all that ben could say.
Soon he was in front of the officer who arrested him and miss smith was with them.
"hello" she extended her arm "am Eva Smith, ben's lawyer".
"pitff" ben couldn't help but laugh.
"anything funny?" miss smith asked irritated.
"nothing" he said "nothing at all".
She looked back at the officer.
"well why don't you tell us your side of the story".
Ben gave him the short version that he was going outside for a small jog because he couldn't sleep when he sat that lizard and then it attacked him and suddenly he was an 12 foot dino man, so he did the only thing that came to his mind, beat it up. "cause if I didn't then it would have me for dinner" ben ended it with that and took a back seat, now it was up to miss smith to get him out of this mess.
Soon ben was out with only a warning, see no need for any complicated shit, ben was defending himself, there was no one around so he did the only thing he could fight for his 'life', if he hadn't called a lawyer then he would be in trouble but he did so he got away Scott free.
"so" ben said he was in front of the station his parents waiting in the car, ben looked at her cloths she was wearing an black shirt a blazer and black pants and boots and a black tie, plane but attractive get up.
"since when did you got a law degree?".
"since forever" she said.
She scratched her neck "well its complied but let's just say that my quirk helped me in getting both law degree and being a teacher and other professions".
Ben nodded.
"by the way nice get up" ben pointed to her cloths "you look ho-nice" ben stopped before he said something that shouldn't come out of his mouth.
She smirked "I know; I look hot right?" she spun around to show ben her cloths.
"I couldn't agree more" ben smiled but then it dropped, he saw miss smith looking at him with a playful smirk.
"so you think I am hot?" she asked "mind telling me where did my best student learned the meaning of such word?".
"ah well, you see" ben broke eye contact "there was this thing and_".
"chill out" she said laughing "I was just screwing with you; you are 13 of course you'll want to know about this stuff" she patted his shoulders.
"but of course you wouldn't so anything inappropriate would you?" she tightened her grip on ben.
Ben looked like a deer caught in headlights "no mamm".
"good" she gave ben a scary smile "now move along, I got some work to do here".
"what type of work need you to go to another country?" ben questioned.
"my work, now go" she pushed ben to the car.
The next day ben's parents took him to the American embassy to get register his 'quirk' since they were not from japan.
There ben learned that if they have an extra bone in their toe or something-ben forgot which finger it was- then it only tells that they can awaken their quirk not what it is.
You can only know what it is when you awaken it not before they were unpredictable and when it awakens, it's really weak like if you have a let's say, your quirk allows you to make explosion so it won't just be strong but as you grow it grows stronger.
Then they asked what can it do?
"well" ben said looking at the omnitrix and an idea popped up in his head since quirks were very unpredictable ben thought why not?
"you see I think this is my quirk" ben raised his left hand and showed them the Omnitrix.
"a watch?" the doctor asked.
"you see I have not been able to turn into that dinosaur but this morning I noticed this watch" ben had always hidden the omnitrix keeping its disguise mode always on to others it looked like an ordinary watch but now it was in its true form.
"you see when I touched it a hologram appeared" ben activated the omnitrix and the ring appeared whose top half was divided in 5 parts of which 3 were blank but two showed the head of Humungousaur and FastTrack.
The doctor looked at them with wonder.
"ok, I guess" he said.
"watch this" ben said like an excited child "when I scroll it to these two" ben did just that and stopped at humungousar-which was now glowing meaning it was selected and-let go.
The omnitrix core popped up with many green circuitries on its walls.
"now watch the magic happen" ben said and pressed the core back, the entire room was lit up green ben's parents the doctor and everyone shielded there eyed with their hands and when they opened there eyes the saw FastTrack.
"FastTrack!" ben yelled and looked back at them with a smirk "what do you think?".
"that Is quite something" the doctor said.
"well if you think that's impressive you've seen nothing yet pal" FastTrack said.
"what do you mean there is more?" he asked thinking 'are there more monsters he can turn into aside from this and that dino?'.
"I am fast like super-fast" FastTrack said and to prove his point ben ran leaving an trail of blue and black behind.
'I better not go too fast; I don't want to surprise them by showing my top speed' ben thought.
'doesn't this mean he has two powers he can be a very strong hero then' the doctor thought.
Ben's parents looked at ben with surprise their son didn't had a quirk for over ten years but now had two, that was unbelievable.
The next day ben woke up and went to the mountain behind him to meet with that kid with gostfreek like quirk and trained with him, ben had heard that he had took part in the sports festival of his school but didn't made it past the first round.
"well I don't think that I need to give him any speech to cheer him up" ben said as he went to their usual meeting spot.
