CHAPTER SIX: DRAGONS DEFEATED

Souta finally stopped at a door after a few minutes of walking. He touched the door before blasting it with his magic, revealing the Cursed Dragons Guild Master, Takumi Dizon, who just smirked when he saw Souta.

"Well, well, Souta. I would say it's a surprise to see you, but I've been expecting you." Takumi stated.

"Of course you were." Souta replied.

"How's that Dragon Slayer of yours doing?"

"In a comatose state no thanks to one of your guild members." Souta responded. "Why did you attack Black Sun?"

"No reason." Takumi shrugged. "I was bored."

His reply made Souta infuriated. "One of my children is fighting for his life, and your answer for attacking us is that you were bored?" He repeated.

"Sky God's Bellow!"

Souta let out his breath attack as black wind headed straight for Takumi, who easily moved out of the way. "You're getting weak, Souta. Wind Magic: Crossbow!" Takumi shouted as he made a crossbow out of wind and fired. The arrows multipled and headed straight for Souta, who dodged just in time.

"I'm getting weak, huh..." Souta mumbled as his bangs were covering his eyes. "I'll show you..." He trailed off as Takumi hummed in questioned. Souta met his eyes as he gave him a deadly glare.

"Who the weak one is!"

Meanwhile, in Black Sun's infirmary, Nox was still flipping through his spell books in a hurry. "Nox... Perhaps you should take a bre-" Romin began as he was interrupted when Nox slammed the spell book closed.

"I can't!"

The room went silent as both Romin and Raden looked at Nox, who just sighed. "I just... can't. If any of us or the others were in Sebastian's position right now, he would be doing everything he can to help us. He cares about each and every one of us, so I'm not going to let him down." Nox claimed, before grabbing another spell book from off the bookshelf that was in the infirmary.

In Sebastian's mind, both him and Vincent were walking around Sun Village. Sebastian chuckled to himself as he pointed to a certain spot. "I remember when Flare and I got in trouble with one of the Giants for almost going into a restricted area. Fun times." He said.

"Do you even remember why it was restricted?" Vincent asked.

"No clue. Flare and I never broke the rules to go see."

"Surprising. I never would've imagined."

"Hey! When you have Giants as parental guardians, you know not to disrespect them."

Vincent laughed as the two continued walking down the streets of the village.

Romin could only watch as Nox's pale-yellow eyes scanned the contents of the spell book he was reading. While Raden had fallen asleep in Romin's arms. Romin gently released the Exceed, placing Raden near his partner.

"Nox."

"Hm?"

"What's next for Black Sun if Bash doesn't make it?"

Nox glanced up from his spell book as he closed it, finding nothing useful. "Didn't I tell you to stop thinking like that?" He questioned.

"I know you did. But wizards who are stuck in a coma usually never survive right? It could be years until Bash wakes up." Romin responded.

Nox sighed. "Romin, I promise I'll find a spell to save Sebastian. If I have to search all of Fiore, then I will." He said, making Romin smile a little at his claim. He knew Nox wasn't the best person to get along with with him always being disinterested in everything.

Romin had to admit, he liked seeing this side of his guildmate - it's too bad this would be the only time he would witness it.

Souta was currently kneeling on the ground as he gasped for breath, Takumi smirked in front of him. "Out of magic already, Souta? How boring." The Wind mage sighed in boredom.

"Dont look down on me, Takumi. I was just resting for a bit." Souta claimed, standing back up. "I think it's about time we finish this, don't you?"

"God Slayer's Secret Art! Heavenly Gathering of Clouds!" Souta shouted, black air is then generated from his arms, appearing in the form of stylized feathers, which rapidly grow in numbers until he condensed them into an elongated mass before him with his hands. Such final current grows larger and larger as one of its ending parts wraps around his body and the other is fired towards Takumi, causing smoke to appear.

When the smoke disappeared, Takumi was on the ground, defeated and knocked out.

"It's over... It's finally over..." Souta thinks to himself, narrowing his eyes.

Now, he just had to figure out how to wake up Sebastian, before it was too late for him.

A/N: Yes, I am well aware I suck at fight scenes and always make them too short.

I'm trying to speed this up so I can get to the GMG arc, which is where my two other SYOC Fairy Tail stories are at.

Next arc: Sebastian's Origins.
