Frantic, Daniel tries to reach her.

"Daniel!" Vala shouts terrified, looking into his eyes. She falls apart as the fire engulfs her.

The fire extinguishes and he runs to her, holding her burnt body close. The Prior approaches, and as he looks on she is brought back to life.

"Daniel?" Her eyes flicker open. She remembers everything. He places his hand under her chin.

"You okay?" Vala nods, tears glisten in her eyes and she grips onto Daniel. Needing him more than ever. For now she was okay, she had to be. But tonight, he would make sure she was.
