All I could see was darkness. I could hear muffled noise echo through that abyss I stood in. I spun around to find nothing but darkness surrounding me. I yelled out and called for Katrina, but nothing answered me. I felt tapping and pokes against my face and side. I tried patting away the small feelings, but they only continued to get worse.

A thud sounded as I felt something hard, hit me in the side of the head. The hit caused me to stumble a little to the side and it took me a little to catch myself. I raised my arm in retaliation of the invisible forces striking me and making me stumble. I wanted felt the urge to swat away the invisible bugs, but felt a large jolt stop me and stun me in place.

I roared and. Swung my arms in rage in all directions to stop whatever was bugging me. I stopped and tried to calm myself down and noticed something happening to me. I stopped my arms and saw the black part of my fur begin to spread and grow to the rest of my fur. Like I had dipped my paws into ink and it grew up my arms and torso.

My felt the cold knife stab my heart as I saw the black start it's continue it's crawl up my arms. I tried to wipe the black off, but my frantic swiping didn't help to stop the back from growing.

"Ko…please….." I heard Katrina whisper in my ear

I spun around to see if she was there, but only more darkness faced me.

"Katrina!" I yelled back, but there was no response. I felt tears begin to well up in my eyes. My heart filled with despair as I continued to see only darkness.

"Sor…" I heard Sir Lance say as something pressed against my neck.

"Please! Show me how to find you!" I wailed out to the darkness, but only emptiness held my in her dark claws.

"Please help me" I whispered to myself and fell to the dark floor.

"My child. Please, come back to us." I looked up and saw a star shimmering in the distance of the darkness. The light slowly fell, like a falling star streaking through the night, to just be on the horizon. I

"Koro, please" I heard Nora's voice again coming from the light.

I stood and stumbled around until I found my footing and began running toward the brilliant light. The closer I got to the light, the heavier my feet felt against the ground. I looked down and saw dark tendrils whip out of the ground and snap easily with my running, but twice as many replaced the ones that broke.

I reached the light and felt the tendrils grip tighten to keep me away from the light. I saw through the light and saw the training ground. I tried to step through the light, but it felt like a spongy bouncy barrier stopped me from stepping thought. My strength wasn't enough to break it as I fought against the darkness's hold on me.

I scanned the grounds and saw Zeina and Carter on the ground. Carter had a large gash across his chest with blood slowly wetting the surrounding grass. Zeina was dragging herself over to Carter, but the twist leg and bruised arm made it very difficult for her.

I saw two pieces of Sir Lances cane in the corner of my eye. Katrina was next to Sir lance as he laid on the ground. I saw his chest rise and fall to bring a little bit of relief. Katrina raised her head and screamed to me. I looked down and saw Nora, beat up and bruised, staring up at me.

Lord Ferris was cackling near the ramp of the training ground. Pointed at me and then shifted his point to another as if he was commanding me to do something. I followed his slimy tentacle to where it was pointing. I heard a whimper from Katrina and saw her try to move toward me, but she stumbled to the ground with tears raging down her cheeks.

I looked at down and saw Nora staring up at me. She was smothered with dirt and grime, her arm hung to her side and bags hung under her eyes. She was barley standing, but she stood with a confident aura combing from her. She smiled at me, but I heard a roar come from Lord Ferris which rang through the darkness, increasing the strength of the tendrils and the pain weakened me.

She looked tired and hurt as she cried and looked up at me. I tried pushing through the film that held me in the dark prison, but wasn't able to get past it. I slammed my body against the barrier, but it didn't budge.

I saw my large dark arms rise and draw close to Nora. I pushed harder into the barrier.

"Stop! Don't!" I yelled into the darkness, but the monster continued to prepare for the strike.

"My child. I know you are in there. We need you. I need you to help us" Nora said. To me.

I looked back at Nora and fear spread through my heart. I began slamming my body again and again against the barrier. I screamed for the monster to stop, but nothing stopped. Tears began flow from my eyes more freely.

"Please!" I pleaded and felt a warmth spread through my body like a wild fire. I felt the tendrils loosen their grip and the barrier began to bend against my weight. I used this chance to push forward, the barrier slowly giving in to my efforts.

I looked once more and saw Nora close against me with my claws ready to kill. This gave me strength to push one more time. I felt the barrier give and I fell into the light and felt a thud against my nose and a wet warm liquid in my mouth. I lifted my head and felt the air bring the cold to my mouth and my nose hurt from hitting the ground.

I felt a paw touch my cheek and my eyes began to focus. I saw a hint of orange in the corner of my eye. I looked over and saw Nora smile at with tears lining her cheeks.

"Your back." She cried as she gasped for air.

I raised my paw to my mouth and looked at what was in my mouth. I felt the liquid drip onto my paw and slowly drew it near for me to see it. I saw the red tint stain my fingers. I looked down and saw the huge bite in Nora's shoulder. Blood trickled faster then the tears in her eyes.

"No. No. . Nora. I-" I began chiming as I reached down and cradled her in my arms. She felt cold and her confident aura wasn't as strong as before. I could feel the waves of aura slowly slow down as her heartbeat grew weaker.

"It's okay child. I am glad you made it back to us. It's time for you to continue walking the path, but this time it's without me for my journey's coming to an end."

"No. I can't do this without Nora. Please. Don't go." I cried over.

"You will be alright my child. I am sorry to leave you like this. Please take care of each other Koro."

Her aura pulsed three more times before the wind came in and snuffed it out like a struggling candle. Her body went cold in my arms. I felt my heart fill with a coldness that froze everything in my body. I wanted to wail but felt someone beat me to it.

A large screech of pain roared from across the training grounds. Katrina stared straight at me. I could imagine the scene perfectly. My mouth filled with blood, my paws covered in the same, and her loved one, lifeless in the arms of the one who took them away.

Her pain sounded through the air and struck my heart.

I saw a change in Katrina. Her eyes grew black and her wail of pain changed to a roar of rage. She stood up and left the unconscious teacher. Her aura was red and only the same aura of darkness was left within her.

"Oh now this is intriguing. I asked for one type of general for my dark army, but this. This is probably an improvement." Lord Ferris chimed from the ramp.

"Be sure to make this quick my dear, we don't want to keep them waiting." He said finally leaving the grounds.

Katrina only stared at me, her glare filled with darkness and rage. I remembered this same look from the cave after my fight with Elizabeth only this one was full darkness. This time, I won't be able to lose the fight.
