Sighing upon hearing their shocked tone, Alleralooked towards them to explain what happened. "Yes, Syrene here is in fact my sister. Our parents were mermaid and siren, and we were born of two worlds. But my father feared Syrene would follow the old ways of the sirens, so he banished her, much to our mothers dismay." She explained.

"I don't blame you sister, I never did, only the man I once called father. I will give you this one chance to surrender, and lead us to the crystal, resist… I cannot guarantee the safety of your human allies." She gestured to her siren soldiers as they readied their weapons.

Seeing it, Jaden swam up to intervene. "Now ladies, hold on, can we just compromise here and discuss this like civilized people before we start going for the swords and spears?" He asked.

"Compromise with the likes of her?" Syrene asked in disgust.

"We have been trying to make amends since your banishment Syrene, you just refuse to accept them." Allera argued.

Blair swam up as the two sisters were arguing amongst themselves as she looked at her boyfriend. "Did you really think they would compromise?" She asked him with a raised eyebrow.

"No, but it was worth a shot." Jaden replied with a deadpan expression, only to look around seeing sirens everywhere. "There's no way to sneak away without being noticed, do you have anything up your sleeves?" He asked her.

"Zip, zilch, nada." She replied.

Sighing upon hearing it, Jaden knew he needed to come up with an escape plan. But something came to his mind, and it was a risky idea as he looked at the suit he was wearing. He knew he was going to regret it as he looked towards Blair. "Babe, you might want to get ready for an unexpected storm." He advised her as he took a deep breath and deactivated his suit, feeling the cold water hitting his body.

Blair's eyes widened upon seeing it. "Jaden!" She shouted as Allera and Syrene looked towards him, seeing him surround himself with lightning as it flowed throughout the water around them, several bolts managed to strike some of the sirens, while others swam away from the streaks to avoid getting hit. Blair took cover with Allera as Syrene avoided the strikes and used a dark version of Allera's trident to block the electricity away. Jaden tried to hold the current and his breath at the same time, but the immense pressure was too much for him as he soon started to pass out. Blair saw the currents vanishing as she looked at Jaden and swam to him, holding him in her arms as she looked at him. "Jaden…? Jaden!" She yelled as she took the opportunity to reactivate his suit and get him breathing again as he let out a big gasp and pants like crazy. "Easy babe, easy, you're going to be alright. But what the hell were you thinking?!" She demanded to know what was going through his mind.

Groaning from the experience, he could barely come up with a good enough excuse as he held his head a bit. "I had to come up with something, even if it was risky. But right now, we need to get out of here before the sirens catch us." He told her.

"He's right, we have to move, now!" Allera told them as she swam away with them as they followed in pursuit.

Seeing them escaping, Syrene sneered as she twirled her trident and held it behind her. "Release Neptune… it is time for it to go hunting." She ordered as the siren took a conch shell and blew it as he sounded the call for their hunter. Meanwhile within the dark trenches of the sea, the call of the hunt could be heard as something within the trench began to twitch upon hearing it as an eye began to twitch, and soon opened, revealing a brownish red eye looking out. The creature let out a growl as it rose up, showing itself as a shark with quadrupedal legs. It roared out and swam out of the trench.

Hearing the roar, Allera looked out sensing what it was. "Sister, you didn't…" She refused to believe it possible.

"Didn't what? What are you talking about?" Jaden asked her.

"There are many great predators in this ocean, one such creature is Neptune, a powerful creature that has been most feared." She explained.

This immediately had Blair worried as she swam up. "Okay, how bad are we talking here? We talk like giant squid bad? Or something far worse?" She asked her, before she could answer, the roar became louder as they looked out and saw what was approaching. Neptune, the self proclaimed king of the seas appeared, and Blair's eyes widened in shock of what she was seeing. "Never mind, I think I can guess." She commented as Neptune let out a snarl and charged at them.

"Move, now!" Jaden yelled as they swam away from the monstrous shark as it pursued them. Neptune snarled as its jaws were wide open as it prepared to bite down on them, but Jaden swam down and grabbed a stalagmite and threw it at the creature, seeing it pierce its flesh as Neptune roared out from it and looked towards him. "Hey mako! You want something to chew on, come and get me!" He taunted it and swam away as Neptune snarled and pursued him.

Seeing it, Blair immediately grew worried as she was about to go after him. But Allera stopped her before she could do anything. "Blair, don't! I know how much you love Jaden, but he is giving us time to search for the crystal. If you truly wish to help him, you need Aquaria's spirit to stop Neptune." She informed her.

Hearing this, Blair knew that the queen was correct. She needed to get to the crystal, otherwise Jaden would be shark bait in a matter of seconds. She and Allera swam away to find the crystal before Syrene could catch up to them. Meanwhile, Jaden swam away from the oversized shark as he narrowly swam through coral reefs and avoided any sea life that was in his path. He looked back seeing Neptune was still on his trail as he looked ahead then looked upwards towards the sun above, knowing this would be the best opportunity he could think of as he shot up towards the surface as Neptune followed after him. "This is gonna be close…!" He grunted, feeling the pressure of the water around him as he reached for his suit and took a deep breath as he deactivated the suit as his eyes glowed. Neptune snarled as he reached him and went to bite down on him. But as his jaws almost clamped down on Jaden, he was already half grown as he held the shark's jaws open. He began to take on Avios' form as they continued towards the surface, he let out a shriek as they breached the water's surface and Avios grew to his natural size and kicked Neptune in the face as he took flight into the air, flapping his wings as Neptune fell back towards the water. Avios saw it as Neptune swam back up and poked its head out from under the water, it growled angrily at Avios who merely smirked, knowing he still had the advantage in this fight.

But to his surprise, Neptune unleashed a roar to the sky as it traveled through the ocean currents. Avios wondered what could be happening, but before he could begin to ponder, a shadow approached from the water behind him. A set of eyes began to glow as a set of tentacles reached out and snared Avios' leg, causing him to shriek and turn around seeing a Kraken emerge from the ocean and let out a powerful roar towards Avios as he struggled to get out of its grip. But the Kraken continued to pull him down as its grip became tighter causing him to writhe in agony, while Neptune lunged at him with its jaws wide open as Avios glanced towards it. One bite from those jaws, and he'd lose more than a chunk of flesh, but his muscle functions as well. He quickly flapped his wings hard and pulled the Kraken up as Neptune bit through the tentacles instead, causing the Kraken to shriek in pain from it. Avios flew higher away from the ocean surface and looked at the two sea kaiju letting out an exhale knowing that it was way too close for comfort. He couldn't risk getting closer to the water, otherwise the Kraken would snatch him again if he went for a dive attack. He could only hope that Blair and Proxima were safe for the time being, but to make sure he knew what he was dealing with, he ascended higher to a high enough altitude and reverted back to human form as he soon went into freefall. He activated his comlink to contact Ryosuke. "Ryosuke, this is Jaden, you read me?" He asked.

"Ryosuke here, what's with all the interference Jaden? Are you in some kind of storm?" He asked.

"Actually I'm in freefall right now, but that's not important. Listen Ryo, we're in a bit of a pickle right now, looks like the queen's evil siren sister really has it out for us, what can Lady Yuki or Sylvia tell us about their parents?" He asked him.

"A lot actually, King Marinus was a noble and just ruler, but his rule felt lonely and he sought a bride. Many had presented themselves before him, but they all were but greedy mermaids and other creatures of the deep. But eventually, one finally presented herself to him." Yuki explained.

"And let me guess… she was a siren?" Jaden asked.

"Yes, rather than seeking personal glory, she only sought love. Her people however were not pleased with her choice, they wanted war, where she wanted peace between their people. Their marriage resulted in the birth of their daughters, Allera, and Syrene." Yuki continued over the comlink.

"I take it that things later on through the years didn't go the way they expected?" Jaden asked her as he remembered the conversation between the two sisters.

"No, Syrene began to go more towards her people's point of view, resulting in her father banishing her. His queen pleaded to reconsider, but what could he have done if she did return?" Yuki asked him.

"Well I'm currently in the middle of the feud while Blair is searching for Aquaria's crystal. Which reminds me, I'm almost near the water's surface, I need to morph before I get turned into sea chow." He informed them as he finished the commlink with them as lightning surrounded his body and he quickly morphed back into Avios, avoiding the Kraken's tentacles as he flew away from it and Neptune.

(Meanwhile)

As Avios distracted Neptune and the Kraken, Blair and Allera were making their way to the location to where Aquaria's crystal was. Proxima gripped her trident tightly as she kept her eyes open and looked around. "I'm sorry you had to witness that, but my sister and I have been at odds ever since her banishment." She told Blair.

Which made her curious as to why she was banished. "I know it's not my place, but why was she thrown out like she was yesterday's garbage? If you'll pardon the expression of course." She said to the queen.

Sighing from hearing it, Allera knew she needed to hear her side of the story. "She wasn't banished because she was becoming more her siren side of the family, she was banished because of this." She removed her left arm bracer, showing three claw marks on it.

This made Blair's eyes widen in surprise as she looked at the mermaid queen. "She did that to you?" She asked her as Allera as she put the bracer back on.

"It was an accident… I tried to tell my father what happened, but he wouldn't listen. Not to me, or our mother. My sister was still banished as a result, and I regret not speaking my mind when I should have. It was the council who ordered the banishment in the first place." She admitted.

Hearing this side of the story, Blair couldn't believe it… a government that is as easily corrupt as the ones back on her planet? That was wrong, even to her. She looked at the queen and touched her shoulder. "We're going to set this right, I know you don't want to fight your sister, because she is the only family you have left, right?" She asked as Allera nodded her head, making Blair smile as she removed her hand from her shoulder and said. "Then we better get that crystal before she does, because I am going to help you get your sister back, one way or another."

Surprised by her enthusiasm, Allera could hardly believe what she was suggesting, but one look at the human girl, and she saw a mental image of Aquaria in her place, seeing that she was a certain reincarnation of the sea queen herself. Allera soon smiled as she held up her trident. "Very well, let us try." She said as Blair nodded her head and swam with her, as they swam together, Allera couldn't help but feel curious about Jaiden. "If you don't mind me asking, but is Jaden really that good in bed?" She asked her.

Letting out an amused chuckle, Blair swam ahead and turned towards her. "Trust me, Jaden is the only man I will ever have. And if you plan to seduce him, you better think twice. Besides, you probably couldn't take his cock." She told her firmly.

"Well, I wouldn't ask unless I had permission from you at least." Proxima replied.

Hearing this, Blair sighed as she crossed her arms. "Let us find that crystal, then we'll discuss that topic." She said as Allera nodded and the two made their way towards an undersea cave.

Elsewhere, Syrene and a few sirens were in pursuit of them as they headed towards the cave. "Valera, call Neptune back to hunt." She ordered as Valera held out the horn and blew it to call Neptune back to them as Syrene swam ahead. "You are in our domain sister, and here we will finish what we started." She muttered.

Meanwhile within the cave, Allera led Blair through the cave to find the inner sanctum. Blair looked through the interior of the cave to be aware of what could be inside, she looked down to the floor below them and saw several skulls and skeletons beneath them. "Charming place, gotta get the name of your decorator." She joked.

"They lay there as a warning to all thieves, for whoever comes to steal the crystal of Aquaria, will face certain doom. But the guardian who protects this sanctum will not harm us… she will, however, test your will to possess the crystal." She mentions.

Blair's eyes widened in shock as she stopped swimming. "Whoa! Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! You couldn't have mentioned that before?!" She asked her.

"Just be thankful I informed you now, rather than later, because right now, you will meet the lady." She told her as they swam towards the inner sanctum of the cave. Blair looked ahead seeing a light ahead, she shielded her eyes feeling how bright it was as they swam further into it. It soon began to dim as they got into the inner sanctum and Blair lowered her hand as her eyes slowly opened and soon widened as she looked around seeing the inner sanctum of the temple.

She looked around in awe, seeing the temple around them. It almost looked Greek or Roman in appearance, but the magic around it spoke Searian. Her attention soon looked towards the crystal as it laid across a pedestal, she slowly swam over to it to get a closer look. When she looked upon the gem, she saw it was round and had a sky bluish hue. She was amazed as she could sense its power and went to reach for it, but before she could grab it, a tentacle reached to it and snatched it away from her and it got pulled into darkness. She wanted to go after it, but Proxima stopped her from going after it as she looked out hearing a chuckle. Out from the shadows, was a siren, but unlike her sisters, she had glowing red eyes, and tentacles for hair. She chuckled as she swam towards them. "I was not expecting you so soon, Queen Allera. Trouble with your sister again?" She asked her.

"More or less… I have brought another to be tested for the crystal." She explained.

Hearing this, the unknown siren looked at Blair and swam up to her to get a closer look. She looked at her intensely, causing Blair to feel a moment of discomfort from how she was staring at her. A tentacle reached out and grabbed her face, turning her head left and right as she examined her. "She does seem to possess great potential… but what makes you think that I will simply give you the crystal?" She asked her.

Getting her tentacle off, Blair looked at her firmly to give her the answer she wanted. "If this is a test, then I will certainly accept it. I don't care about power, I only wish to defend those who don't have that power." She explained.

Hearing her response, the siren chuckled in amusement as she floated away from her as she looked upon Blair. "You have spirit, child, but you will need more than that if you are to gain this crystal." She told her as she hid the crystal away. "Which is why, your test has just begun!" She snared her with her tentacles as she felt Blair struggling as she swam towards an open air pocket above the temple and surfaced as the both landed on the ground. Blair rolled across the ground and halted once she got several feet away from the siren. "Come, child. Let us see what you are made of!" She yelled as she formed a spear in her left hand through water.

It was then that Allera reached the surface as her tail formed into legs and she pulled out her trident. "Blair, catch!" She tossed it towards her as Blair caught it quickly and avoided a swing from the siren and swung the trident at her. The siren blocked her attack and went for a strike, only to see Blair block it and swing the trident around the spear, causing the siren to duck under it, only to get kicked in the face by Blair as she caught the trident and struck at her.

The siren's tentacles reached out and caught the spear and pulled on it as Blair held onto it with a firm grip. The siren hissed at Blair and sent two more tentacles at her to wrap around her. Blair saw them coming at her as her eyes widened, causing her to react as she quickly caught the tentacles and leapt over the siren and wrapped the tentacles around her head and over her eyes, blinding her as she shrieked from it. "You little!" She struggled to get it untied.

"Can't strike what you can't see sister." Blair commented with a grin.

Growling upon hearing it, the siren tugged on her tentacles and ripped them off as they bled, causing Blair to show a look of shock as the siren turned towards her as her tentacles grew back. "You are no sister of mine, I am Nimue, and I will see to it that you do not survive this test!" She cried out as she struck at her with her spear.

Blair blocked each of her attacks as she narrowly avoided her stabs and slashes, but one of the strikes managed to cut her arm, causing her to wince in pain from it as Nimue raised her spear and hissed, going for an overhead strike. Blair quickly managed to block it as she looked up at the siren with a glare. "Yeah…? Well I am Blair Saito, the next guardian to be chosen, and I have a boyfriend waiting for me out there." She told her as she shot up and headbutted her and grabbed her spear, kicking her in the chest causing her to back up as she threw the spear at the tentacle that held the crystal, slicing through it as Nimue screamed in pain from it as Blair charged forward and caught it as she turned sharp and kicked her hard in the face,knocking her down as she took Allera's trident and leapt up and landed over her, holding the trident over Nimue's throat.

Feeling the sharp tip of it against her skin, Nimue looked at Blair as she held it close to her. She could hardly believe it, a human such as her, beating her at her own game. She could not concede defeat, not to her. That was until Syrene and her sirens burst out of the water and surrounded them, catching both Blair and Allera off guard as the sirens aimed their spears at them. "Surrender the crystal now, and we might just spare your lives." She demanded.

"Fool! You are on sacred ground, you cannot interrupt the trial!" Nimue shouted at her, only to receive a spear to her head from a siren as Blair backed away, shocked by what just happened and looked at Syrene.

"I can do whatever I please, and I want that crystal. It does not belong in the hands of a human, nor will it ever." She said as she walked towards Blair and held out her hand. "Give me the crystal, child, and I will let you return to your beloved unharmed." She told her.

"Syrene, this is madness, the crystal will never choose you. It will only choose who is pure of heart." Allera told her.

"And who is more pure? Me, or this human whore? She is even less worthy to possess the crystal of Aquaria than I am. What makes you think that she could ever be worthy to be Aquaria's reincarnation?" Syrene asked her young sister as she grabbed her spear from behind her and aimed it at Blair. "Last chance human, hand of the crystal, now." She demanded.

Blair looked between her and Allera, knowing she was in the thick of it. She wouldn't let Syrene have it, nor leave it with Allera as she looked upon the crystal in her hands. It glimmered in her eyes for a second as she shut her eyes and clutched it in her hands and looked upon Syrene with a serious expression. "I may not be worthy, I may in fact be a slut. But you are nowhere near worthy to possess Aquaria, so if you want the crystal? You'll have to pry it from my cold dead hands." She told her.

Seeing her bravery, Syrene closed her eyes and began to smirk with an amused chuckle as she opened her eyes looking at her. "So be it." She said as she threw her spear at her, causing Allera' eyes to widen as the spear almost reached Blair. But before it could touch her, the crystal shimmered and let out a radiant glow that unleashed a powerful wave that blasted the spear away and blinded the sirens as they screamed. Syrene winced from the light as she and Proxima shielded their eyes from the bright light. Blair's body was engulfed by the light as her form started to change in appearance. Her face was covered with a smooth surface, covering her mouth as her ears formed into fins and a serpentine tail grew from behind her. Her blonde hair became turquoise as armor appeared around her body, with fins appearing on the arm breakers and on the back of the shin guards. Her eyes opened, revealing a beautiful amber color in them as she looked upon Proxima and the sirens. Syrene was shocked by what she was seeing as she kneeled down, tears brimming in her eyes. "No… this cannot be." She muttered as she was shaking in fear.

Aquaria standing before her, approached the siren queen and looked upon her as her serpentine tail swayed behind her. She reached down to Syrene who shut her eyes out of fear, but rather than feeling a wrathful hand, Aquaria touched her gently as she got her to look up to her in surprise. "Syrene… you have been filled with hatred for far too long. It is time for you to let it go, return to your sister and her kingdom. Bring peace between your species." She advised her.

"But, I caused her pain, I hurt my sister." She replied.

"And did you feel anything from the experience?" Aquaria asked as Syrene's eyes widened. "Did you enjoy it? Did the feeling of hurting your sister thrill your inner siren? Tell me what you felt." She told her.

"I was scared!" Syrene shouted as she hyperventilated from her honest truth, surprising the sirens behind her. "I… was scared… I looked at the blood on my hands, and it frightened me, more than my parents. It still frightens me, I didn't even know what to do. I just stood there as my father looked down on me with disappointment. I tried to say I didn't mean to hurt her, but he wouldn't listen." She told them. Aquaria looked upon the siren, seeing her mentally breaking down in sadness and fear as she clutched her head and fell to her knees. The sea warrior stepped towards her to consult her, hearing her heavy breathing as she had tears running down her face. "I didn't mean to do it… I didn't mean to do it, I'm sorry. I'm sorry…" She muttered.

It was at that moment that Aquria reached out to her and placed her hand on her shoulder, snapping out of her dilemma as she looked upon the sea warrior. "What happened then was an accident, and she has forgiven you for it. But are you willing to forgive yourself after everything that has happened." Aquaria asked her. Hearing the question, Syrene looked down in deep thought as her sirens looked amongst themselves. Their empress was struggling with what was important, and she didn't know what to choose. Before she could even choose, the temple around them began to rumble as Aquaria looked up, knowing it was Neptune outside trying to get in. "Choose wisely Syrene… or you may regret losing the only family you have left." She told her as her legs combined with her serpentine tail and she leapt over the sirens and dove into the water.

The sirens went to pursue her, but their empress stood up and said. "Stand down!" She shouted as they halted in their tracks and looked at her in surprise as she stood up from the ground.. "She made her point… I… I can't live like this anymore. I refuse to see both our kingdoms fall… for the sake of our people, we need to be better than this." She told them.

Allera looked at her sister and began to smile, but out of nowhere, a crystal shot out from Nimue's dead body and shot towards Syrene and pierced her chest, causing her to writhe from it. "Syrene!" She shouted as the sirens backed away from their empress as she screamed, her body slowly and painfully taking on the form of Nimue, but with a new shade of color, and a darker form to put fear into Proxima's heart as her sister soon began to appear different.

Meanwhile outside, Neptune was trying to dig its way into the temple, but unknown to its attention, Aquaria swam out from the cave and glowed brightly as her size changed and she rammed against Neptunes torso, launching him away from the underground temple as she swung her serpentine tail and slammed it against the quadrupedal shark, slamming it against the reef. Neptune cried out in agony as it looked upon the sea warrior who held her hip and held up a hand, gesturing with a finger to come to her. "Come on big boy, show me what you got." She said as Neptune snarled and swam towards her, she narrowly avoided its massive jaws and used her serpentine tail to coil around it as she felt it wiggle and struggle to get free.

Neptune snarled as it tried to break free, but Aquaria had no intention of letting it go as she coiled around it tightly. But her attempt was interrupted by a set of tentacles as they wrapped around her arms, neck and waist as she yelped and struggled to break them off. She looked back and saw the Kraken from before as it wrapped its tentacles around her. She struggled to get out of it, knowing she was literally not into tentacle hentai, but she soon saw Neptune swimming freely and turned itself around and charged towards her. Her eyes widened as Neptunes jaws were widened, preparing to chomp down on her as she was being held against her will. But before Neptune could reach her, a bolt of lightning was shot at it and it hit it in its gills, causing it to cry out in pain as its trajectory redirected and bit the Kraken's tentacles, causing it to shriek as both it and Neptune got into a tussle with each other and Aquaria looked to who used that lightning bolt, and saw that it was Jaden who swam towards her. "Babe…? Is that you?" He asked her.

Chuckling in amusement, Aquaria reached to him and let a gentle claw touch his chin. "It's me honey, and I am loving this body." She said as she gestured to herself.

Exhaling upon looking at her form, he couldn't deny that she looked extremely hot in that form. "I can tell, I mean you look, wow!" He said as he was literally speechless.

Hearing Neptune and the Kraken quit their fighting, Aquaria looked towards them as they redirected their attention back to her and charged at her. "Hold that thought babe, because I need to deal with these naughty pets." She told him as she swam towards them as the Kraken reached towards her with its tentacles in attempt to snare her, but she wasn't going to let it touch her as she barrel rolled around the tentacles and grabbed one of them and pulled tightly as she swung the Kraken around and slammed it against a reef, hearing it shriek as Neptune snuck up behind her and went for a bite. Noticing the collar around its neck, Aquaria knew that the sirens clearly enslaved it to do their dirty work until now. She prevented the shark's jaws from latching onto her shoulder as she reached and grabbed hold of its collar and pulled hard, throwing it down and slammed it against where the underground temple was. She gripped the collar with both hands and pulled hard, breaking the collar off as she saw what was making it go so crazy. Barnacles were on the inside of the collar that had tons of torn flesh around it.

Jaden looked at it as he explained the flesh that was on the barnacles. "Jesus, so this is why it was so obedient to the sirens, they had this collar on it as it was constantly used to strangle it." He said as he looked at his beloved. "If that isn't animal cruelty, I dont know what is." He commented.

"I most certainly agree babe." Aquaria replied as she backed away from Neptune, seeing it getting up as it shook its neck feeling no pain whatsoever. Aquaria saw it was now calm, but while she wasn't aware… the Kraken snuck up on her and went to snare her, only to get shot by a bolt of lightning from Jaden as she turned around seeing it. She hissed like a snake and formed a spear through water and thrusted it at the Kraken, piercing its chest and pinning it into a reef as it writhed and thrashed trying to get free. Aquaria readied another spear to finish it off, but Neptune dashed past her and charged at the Kraken, snarling as it bit into its face, causing it to shriek.

Both Jaden and Aquaria watched in surprise by the spectacle as Neptune literally shredded through the Kraken, tearing it apart as it bit through flesh and bone, killing it as it snarled and continued to maul the sooner dead kaiju. Jaden gulped from watching as he tried not to hurl in his suit. "Wow… ohh man, that's a lot." He commented.

Aquaria nodded her head in response. "It sure is…" She agreed, but her senses soon went wild as she felt something dark coming. She turned around and saw the cave explode as a massive dust cloud rose up along with bubbles of air, Aquaria looked carefully as the dust cloud started to dissipate, revealing a shadowed figure within.

Her eyes soon widened as she saw Nimue floating before her, but her skin was a dark violet red, and she had a light red on her torso with glowing red eyes as she cackled in amusement when she saw Aquaria's shocked expression. "Did you really think this fight was over?" She asked him.

"Nimue…? You're…" Aquaria paused as she looked at her.
